Purpose: The aim of this paper is to highlight the importance of Philosophical System of Education in the developing regions. This study emphasized on significance of learning of Scientific Research philosophies and paradigms to generate new ideas in business, education & research to meet the challenges faced by developing and growing economies. Methodology: This paper reviews the various theories, philosophies and, paradigm briefly to explore that how, effect of paradigms on the methodologies of research from selection of research topic to data analysis. Findings: The study has found that a theoretical direction of a researcher is very important in producing a creative knowledge. To improve the learning process, education, business and technical schooling and research process there is need to explore this area further. Implications: To improve education system extensive research in this area required. This system will work as an intellectual tool that provide us meaningful path towards financial and social life. Therefore, researchers should learn from previous studies to conduct further research on  Educational philosophical system.

This paper aims to highlight the process of selecting a research topic through the identification of broad area and then narrowing it down to the research title. The article starts with the brief introduction to research and its micro activities. It also clarifies that topic selection is the base for all other microactivitie. The focus is laid on reviewing the literature as the preliminary step in the selection of research topic. In order to facilitate the new researchers and to remind the experienced ones, a list of some possible broad areas in applied linguistics is presented. Before concluding the article, I have argued that without reading and reviewing the existing literature topic selection is very difficult. Today, the human problem in social life concerning education is growing more complex; many new ideas emerge as the level of human intellectuality grows. This paper will reveal the current issue of education in Indonesia and discuss ideas from the concept of liberal education. The basic issue of education criticized by liberal education is that education today focuses more on the needs of society than the educational objectives themselves. Education as a tool to transfer science, values, and agents of social change is seen as one alternative solution in the framework of improving people's lives. The education in which values are embodied is one of the efforts offered by genuine liberal education, aimed at giving us the habits, ideas and techniques necessary to continue our own education. Humans have the ability to learn continuously throughout life so that we can prepare ourselves to study and again as long as we are alive.

Understanding the return aspect of international migration is vital because returnees replete with new ideas, perceptions on life, and monies affect every dimension of social life in migrants’ places of origin.  Yet, return migration remains uneven and an understudied aspect of migratory flows because migration scholars have privileged why individuals migrate, the underlying motivations for their moves abroad, and how migrants assimilate and succeed in their destinations abroad. Drawing on ethnographic research, this article addresses the migratory flows of Ladino and Mayan Guatemalans:  those who go North, but in particular, those who come South. And in doing so, it highlights their similar and divergent responses towards migration processes.

The aim of the study was to investigate approaches to the formation of general educational skills. A survey examining the design and research process was carried out by 6th-grade Russian students over the course of an extracurricular project entitled «Names of Modern Professions». In the paper, the selection of the «Lexicology» section for such activities carried out by school pupils is substantiated and stages of work on the project are described. The applied methodology involves theoretical analysis of scientific literature, formative experimentation, analysis of products of educational activities, observation and description. It is concluded that the design of extracurricular research activities in the Russian language contributes to the formation of general educational competencies in conducting surveys and searching for information on the basis of subject skills.

The paper responds to research problems related to the implementation of large-scale investment projects in waterways in Europe. As part of design and construction works, it is necessary to indicate river ports that play a major role within the European transport network as intermodal nodes. This entails a number of challenges, the cardinal one being the optimal selection of port locations, taking into account the new transport, economic, and geopolitical situation that will be brought about by modernized waterways. The aim of the paper was to present an original methodology for determining port locations for modernized waterways based on non-cost criteria, as an extended multicriteria decision-making method (MCDM) and employing GIS (Geographic Information System)-based tools for spatial analysis. The methodology was designed to be applicable to the varying conditions of a river’s hydroengineering structures (free-flowing river, canalized river, and canals) and adjustable to the requirements posed by intermodal supply chains. The method was applied to study the Odra River Waterway, which allowed the formulation of recommendations regarding the application of the method in the case of different river sections at every stage of the research process.

AbstractWith respect to the tremendous deficit in surgical care plaguing developing nations, it is critical that medical outreach models be organized in such a fashion that sustainable advancements can be durably imparted beyond the duration of targeted missions. Using a didactic framework focused on empowering host neurosurgeons with an enhanced surgical skillset, a mission was launched in Managua, Nicaragua, after previous success in Kiev, Ukraine, and Lima, Peru. Unfortunately, the failure to critically assess the internal and external state of affairs of the region’s medical center compromised the outreach mission. Herein lies the visiting team’s lessons from failure and insights on facilitating effective communication with host institutions, circumventing geopolitical instability, and utilizing digital collaboration and video-conferencing tools in the post-COVID-19 era to advance the surgical care of developing regions in a fashion that can be generationally felt.

With the basis that research is one of the most important internal sources for innovation, a new approach to create competence-cell-based production networks focused on research activities is presented. Thus, a research process, specific for competence-cell-based networks, is also described. In this process, which is subdivided in different phases, the competence-cells, as the smallest performance units, are temporarily linked in a production network. They cooperate to carry out industry-oriented applied research to generate new ideas or technologies to be used in innovative products. For this process, an approach for the non-hierarchical selection of the necessary competence cells is also introduced. This selection is accomplished by means of the innovation potential, which is based on parameters that evaluate nearly objectively the innovative capabilities of the competence cells.

AbstractObjective: The purpose of this text is to identify approaches to defining and subsequently reviewing the definitions of uncertainty and risk as interdisciplinary terms which are of key importance in modern management.Methodology: The work is theoretical. The main method used in the research process was the analysis of scientific literature. A one-dimensional logical classification method was also used, in order to categorize approaches to defining uncertainty and risk, satisfying the exhaustive and mutually exclusive criteria in the selection of categories of approaches.Findings: The main results of the work are: 1) identification of approaches to defining uncertainty and risk, 2) interdisciplinary review of definitions of uncertainty and risk indicating the criteria to distinguish between the two, and 3) determination of the meaning of the terms uncertainty and risk in modern management.Value Added: Considering the approaches to defining uncertainty and risk taken from many fields and disciplines of science, this text is a compendium of theoretical knowledge for the proper understanding and meaning of these concepts in management.Recommendations: The research findings can have implications for both management theory as well as the practice of organization management.

The purpose of this writing is to analyze the hypothetical learning model as a progressive education on physics learning. This writing is based on the lack of precise and less varied selection of learning models in learning activities in the classroom, especially physics lessons. The method used is the study of literature by reviewing some literature for analysis and then drawing conclusions. The Deductive Hypothesis Learning Model is a learning model that in its activities begins by exploring the general knowledge or initial knowledge of the student on what to learn. The deductive hypothesis learning model is process-oriented that can develop students' basic skills, especially students' science process skills. The results of literature studies from several reliable references, that hypothetical learning models included in education are progressive in physics learning where students experience and discover for themselves material concepts as well as hooking in social life
