Tujuan penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar, aktivitas dan respon dari peserta didikpada penerapan PhET sebagai media pembelajaran struktur atom dan sistem periodik.Subjek..penelitian..adalah peserta..didik kelas X Otomotif SMK Nahdlatul Ulama Sugio KabupatenLamongan. Instrument yang digunakan adalah soal Pre-test..dan..Post-test, lembar observasi aktivitaspeserta didik dan angket respon peserta didik. Desain penelitian yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini adalahOne-Group Pre-test dan Post-test design, penelitian dilakukan dalam 1 kali pertemuan dengan rentangwaktu 3 x 45 menit dan diamati oleh 1 orang observer. Selama penelitian peserta didik dilatihkanmengoperasikan PhET dan melakukan percobaan menggunakan media PhET pada materi struktur atomdan sistem periodik. Kemudian pada akhir kegiatan pembelajaran diberikan tes hasil belajar untukmengetahui ketuntasan peserta didik selama penerapan media PhET dan pembagian lembar angket responpeserta didik setelah menggunakan media PhET. Data yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa: (1)ketuntasan yang didapat dari hasil..belajar..peserta..didik termasuk dalam kategori baik dengan mendapatpersentase ketuntasan..sebesar..75%, (2) aktivitas peserta didik selama pembelajaran struktur atom dansistem periodik menggunakan media PhET tergolong dalam predikat sangat aktif dengan ditunjukkanpersentase aktivitas peserta didik yang relevan sebesar 92,59% sedangkan yang tidak relevan sebesar7,41%, dan (3) setelah menggunakan media PhET dalam pembelajaran struktur atom dan sistem periodikrespon peserta didik dikatakan baik, hal ini dibuktikan dengan rata-rata respon positif peserta didiksebesar 92,5% sedangkan respon negatif peserta didik sebesar 7,5%. Bersarkan hasil dari penelitian makapenggunaan PhET sebagai media pembelajaran struktur atom dan sistem periodik dapat meningkatkanhasil belajar dengan kategori baik, aktivitas peserta didik selama pembelajaran sangat aktif dan responpeserta didik baik.Kata Kunci: media pembelajaran PhET, struktur atom, hasil belajar, respon, aktivitas peserta didik AbstractThe purpose of this research is to know the learning outcome, activity and respons of student on theapplication of PhET as learning medium for atomic structure and periodic system. The research subjectswere students of class X Automotive SMK Nahdlatul Ulama Sugio Lamongan Regency. The instrumentsused was a matter of Pre-test and Post-test, observation sheet of student activity and studentquestionnaire responses. The research design carried out in this study is the One-Group Pre-test andPost-test design, the study was conducted in 1 meeting with a span of 3 x 45 minutes and observed by 1observer. During the study students were trained to operate the PhET and conduct experiments using thePhET media on atomic structure and periodic system. Then at the end of the learning activity given a testof learning outcomes to determine the completeness of student during the applicaton of the PhET mediaand the distribution of students questionnaire responses after using the PhET media The data obtainedshows that: (1) completeness of student learning outcomes is included in the good category by getting apercentage of completeness of 75%, (2) The activities of students during the learning of atomic structuresand periodic systems using the PhET media are classified as very active with proven percentage ofrelevant student activity of 92.59% while irrelevant of 7.41%, and (3) After using the PhET media inlearning the atomic structure and the periodic system the response of students is said to be good, this isevidenced by the average positive response of students by 92.5% while the negative response of studentsby 7.5%. Based on the results of the study, the use of PhET as a learning medium for atomic structuresand periodic systems can improve learning outcome in either category, student activity during learning isvery active and student responses are good.Keyword: PhET Learning media, atomic structure atom, learning outcomes, responses, student activities.

We investigate the effectiveness of module to reduce misconception and improve learning outcomes in genetic material using multiple choice test with CRI. This study using pre-experiment study with one group pretest post test design. This study reports the results of analysis of misconception level of XII grades in SMA Negeri 5 Malang reduce from 33.42 percent to 12.92 percent. Learning outcome increase from 38.30 into 72.96.  These results indicate that the genetic module is effective to reducing the level of misconceptions and improving student cognitive learning outcomes.Keywords: Misconception, learning outcomes, genetic

ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the low student activity, which affects learning outcomes. The aims of this research were to describe and determine students activity on atomic structure lesson during chemistry teaching process. About 36 students of class X MIA 5 was choseen as samples in this research using purposive sampling method. The students activity data were collected through observations, questionnaires and interviews, using validated instruments. The results showed that the highest aspect of student activity was emotional activity (76,85%), and then declined gradually to listening activity(74,65%), visual activity (67,36%), writing activity (61,46%), and oral activity (38,42%). Emotional activity showed the highest score since students were eager to study chemistry subject, especially atomic structure lesson mean while oral activity was the lowest activity since the students were not confident to ask questions and express opinions.Keywords: Students’ learning activity, atomic structure

  The motivation for this research is the lack of optimal learning by teachers and the lack of value for students in learning volleyball. Many students are passive when learning activities occur.  The purpose of this research is to use the Think Pair Share cooperative learning method in SMP N 1 Japah to determine the progress of students' learning outcomes in Class VIII. The results of showed that before the study of the Think Pair Share method, the average learning outcome increased to 64, and after the study of the Think Pair Share learning model, it increased to 70. Therefore, the increase of 6 The type of research is quantitative research. In this study, the researchers used a pre- and post-test design. The advice given by the researchers is that teachers should optimize learning. Students are more active in the learning process.

Model and learning media is the important component that can affect the result of learning outcomes. The appropriate model of learning can improve students learning activity. The result of interest questionnaire and interview with biology teachers in SMA N 1 Jatibarang showed that student activity interest at medium category and paper became the main option for all administration and documentation needs. Team Games Tournament with edmodo was rated as the most appropriate model that match the situations and conditions in SMA N 1 Jatibarang nowadays. This model has high efficacy level to solve the activity and learning outcome problem, meanwhile Edmodo is the proper rated class-based website as the solution for paperless attempt. This study aim is to evaluate the effectiveness of Team Games Tournament with edmodo toward student learning outcome and as an attempt to support the pillar of paperless conservation in SMA N 1 Jatibarang. A pre-experimental, One Group Pretest-Posttest Design was used. Samples was collected by purposive sampling methods. All XI MIPA students used as experiment class. Data collection method in this study is a test and questionnaire based methods. Data analysis result showed that classical mastery at 93.26% and N-gain score at 0.70 with high category. The student opinion towards TGT method with edmodo has a very good category. The conclusion is Team Games Tournament model with edmodo effective towards student learning outcome and as an attempt to support the pillar of paperless conservation.

The background of this study is the low learning outcomes of students' IPS, from 22 students only 10 (45.45%) reaching the determined KKM, in addition the average student learning outcome is 62.50. The study aims to improve the learning outcomes of IPS Through the application of TSTS learning model. This research is a classroom action research, this research is conducted in SDN 21 Sitorajo Kecamatan Kuantan Tengah. Subjects in this study were students of class IV B with a total of 22 students. This research is conducted two cycles with four stages, namely: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The result of research stated that after applied cooperative learning model type TSTS can improve learning result of IPS. This is evidenced by: (a) teacher activity in cycle I is 62,50, in cycle II equal to 82,81. Student activity in cycle I earn 65,62, in cycle II equal to 85,93; (b) result of student learning on prasiklus equal to 62,50, at cycle I equal to 72,50 and at second cycle equal to 82,18.

This research is based on the fact that the indicators of student’s independence and attention are low in learning process. This research aimed to describe the level of student’s independence (aspect of self confidence and responsibility), level of student’s attention (sustained attention and executive attention), cognitive learning outcome, student’s response, learning process, and the problems of learning process. The research design used is one group pretest-post test design, and analyzed using descriptive qualitative. The research was conducted on the students of senior high school (Madrasah Aliyah) class X in second semester. The result of research shows the level of student’s independence, attention and test score of student learning outcome either male or female students were improving. The student’s response of learning by using the integrated group investigation of power teaching also gets a good response and the learning process is categorized as very good category. Problem faced is only about creating the media of presentation but it can solved by student’s creativity to create the media. The conclusion of this research, is that by using The Integrated group Investigation of power teaching can keep the student’s independence, attention, and student learning outcome in ecosystem material. Thus method also gets a good response, and learning process is categorized as a very good category, and the problem of learning process can be solve by student’s creativity.: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kenyataan bahwa masih terdapat indikator – indikator kemandirian dan atensi siswa yang rendah dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat kemandirian siswa (aspek percaya diri dan tanggung jawab), tingkat atensi siswa (aspek atensi berkelanjutan dan atensi eksekutif), hasil belajar kognitif, respon siswa, keterlaksanaan rencana pembelajaran, dan kendala-kendala pada proses pembelajaran. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah One Group Pretest-Postest Design, dan analisis data secara deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada siswa MA (Madrasah Aliyah) kelas X pada semester genap. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat kemandirian, tingkat atensi, dan tes hasil belajar siswa baik kelas putra ataupun kelas putri mengalami peningkatan. Respon siswa terkait pembelajaran menggunanakan Group Investigation terintegrasi Power Teaching juga mendapatkan respon yang baik, dan keterlaksanaan kegiatan pembelajaran tergolong pada kategori baik sekali. Kendala yang dihadapi hanya terkait pada pembuatan media presentasi, akan tetapi hal tersebut dapat diatasi dengan kreatifitas masing – masing siswa dalam pembuatan media tersebut. Simpulan penelitian ini, bahwa metode pembelajaran Group Investigation terintegrasi Power Teaching dapat mempertahankan kemandirian, atensi, dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada materi ekosistem. Metode tersebut juga mendapatkan respon yang baik, dan keterlaksanaan  rencana pembelajaran yang juga tergolong baik sekali, serta kendala pembelajaran yang bisa diselesaikan dengan kreativitas siswa.

This study aims to improve the activity and results of student learning in the subject of Anatomy Plant through a comparative study  model based lesson study. The method used is classroom action research with 4 cycles. Samples used  in this study is the third semester students of regular education courses Biology FKIP Veteran Bangun Nusantara University Sukoharjo force 2012/2013 as many as 24 people. The study began in November 2013 and April 2014. The learning activities were observed in the form of discussion and presentation activities, while learning outcomes measured were the post-test results after completion of the learning process of each cycle. Data analysis techniques with comparative descriptive, comparing the results of learning and learning activity cycle with the cycle I to IV. From the  results of this study concluded that the average post-test or study results from Cycle I to IV increased starting 3.47, 3.72, 3.73 and 3.85, though in terms of learning activities is still not satisfactory because it only categorized quite active for the first cycle to the active cycle III and cycle IV. Learning activity was a student’s activeness in learning process to achieve outcome and aim of learning which had been determined. This research aimed to describe the degree of student’s learning activity, its outcome and the correlation between them. Collecting data used purposive sampling technique which used 36 students of class XB as a sample. The data of student’s learning activity was analyzed by using observation checklist. The observation result showed that the mean of student’s learning activity was 51,76 % with the category of active enough. The result of second term examination 2016/2017 showed that the mean of student’s score was 40,42 as less good category. The correlation between students’ learning activity and its outcome was analyzed by the correlation of product moment formula. The result of analyzing data showed that there was positive correlation between students’ learning activity and outcome in chemistry X class at SMA Negeri 5 Pontianak with correlation coefficient 0,67 as high category. The contribution of students’ learning activity and outcome was obtained coefficient of determination (r2) equal to 0,451. Thus, it could be concluded that there was a influence and positive relationship with the strong category between student learning activities and learning outcomes in chemistry class X at SMA Negeri 5 Pontianak.Keywords : Students’ learning activity, Students’ learning outcome, Chemistry

The purpose of this research is to increase learning outcome in MTK subjects in class V. This research is a Classroom Action Research, includes: planning, implementation, and reflection, 29 study subjects consisted of 15 males and 14 females, Data collection techniques used a written assessment on the basic competence of multiplying and dividing various forms of fractions, observations in the form of indicators of teacher and student, the results showed that pre cycle of percentage of student learning outcomes that is 38%, in the first cycle increased by a percentage 72%, teacher activity by 75%, and student activity by 70% and then in the second cycle is 100% complete, with the highest 85, the lowest 75, and the average 78,97. Based on these results, it can be concluded that CTL model can improve the learning outcomes of Mtk subject of grade V students at elementary school number 104 / IX Kedemangan

This study aimed to improve learning activities and learning outcomes of students in class X MIA 1 of Senior High School (SMAN) 8 Bengkulu on the subject of chemical bonds through the application of Auditory, Intellectualy, and Repetition (AIR) learning models by using learning media with lottery card. This study is a classroom action research consisting of three cycles, each cycle consisting of four stages, planning, action, observation and reflection. In collection of data was done by non-test and test methods, teacher observation sheets, student observation sheets and post-test. The data was processed by using simple quantitative data analysis techniques, the total value of each student, the average value, the percentage of absorptive power, learning completeness and the average observation score.The results of the study in the 2018/2019 school year showed that the application of the Auditory Intellectualy Repitition learning model using learning media with lottery  cards in class X MIA 1 of SMA Negeri 8 Kota Bengkulu could improve teacher activities, student activities and student chemistry learning outcomes. This can be seen from the average score of teacher activities in the first cycle to the third cycle in a row : 23, 27.5 and 31.5. Student activity also showed improvement in each cycle. The average score of student activity in cycle I to cycle III was sequentially 20, 25 29.5. Learning outcomes also increase in each cycle. This can be seen from the average value of the test results in each cycle, in the first cycle of 61.82, in the second cycle of 67.88, in the third cycle of 79.09. Classical absorption in cycle I, cycle II, cycle III are 61.82%, 67.88%, 79.09%, with the percentage of completeness learning in each cycle of 42%, 73%, and 87.8 %.
