The objectives of this research was to find out why students' ability to write simple descriptive paragraphs is improved by modeling in the second year of MTs Negeri Kolaka. The report's aim was to gather information and data about the students' ability to write concise descriptive paragraphs by modeling.This research used a collaborative Classroom Action Research design (CAR). It happened in the first semester of the academic year 2019-2020. The emphasis of this research was on classes VIII and 8. There were 23 students in this group. The writing test and observation sheet were the instruments used in the study. In order to collect data, the researcher conducted research from the first to the second cycle. The data was analyzed using qualitative methods.According to the result of the research, modeling in the second year of MTs Negeri Kolaka could enhance the students' ability to write clear descriptive paragraphs. The paper concluded an increase in the number of students writing. The outcome of the writing test provided by the researcher at the last meeting in terms of product could be seen in terms of product. The students got an average score of 48.52 on the pre-test. It increased to 63,30 in the first period and 75,13 in the second. Every meeting's outcome observation sheet revealed that teaching and learning activities were growing. Based on the analysis of the observation sheet, the average score was found to be 3,7. It belongs to the equal group in the first cycle. It was at 4,7% at the time. It belongs to the positive party in the second cycle.

  The purpose of the study was to find out how the ability to write job application letters for class XII students of SMK Negeri 2 Depok City in 2019-2020 and to find out whether cooperative learning with the Think-Pair-Share model could improve the ability to write cover letters for class XII students of SMK Negeri 2 Depok City. This study uses classroom action research (action research) in two rounds (cycles). Each round consists of four stages, namely: planning, activities and observations, reflection, and revision. The target of this research is Class XII Computer Network Engineering (TKJ) SMK Negeri 2 Depok City in 2019-2020. The data obtained in the form of subjective test results and observation sheets of teaching and learning activities. The results show, class XII students of TKJ SMK Negeri 2 Depok City in 2019-2020 are able to write job applications. This can be seen from the average score of students' ability to write job application letters and student learning completeness in cycle I and cycle II has increased. The average score of students' ability to write job application letters in the first cycle was 72.77 and learning completeness reached 64.70%. The average score of students' ability to write job application letters in cycle II was 78.38 and learning completeness reached 85.29%. The application of the Think-Pair-Share model of cooperative learning has a positive influence on Teaching and Learning Activities (KBM). Think-Pair-Share model of cooperative learning can improve student learning outcomes. This is indicated by the average student answers stating that students are interested and interested in the Think-Pair-Share cooperative learning method so that they become motivated to learn. The obejectives of this research are to know the improvement  of the students’ achievement in poetry mastery and their perception regarding to the semiotic method in teaching and learning poetry in  English Education Department, Languages and Art Faculty of State University of Medan. The research method used is the Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects of the research are the fifth semester of 37 students of 2013/2014 academic year. The data are collected by test in order to know the students’ achievment in poetry mastery. The students’ perception toward the implementation of the semiotic method for teaching and learning poetry is collected by questionaire. The data are analyzed by descriptive analysis. The result of research shows that (1) the average score of the students’ achievement of poetry mastery is (71.75) or it increases (11,59) point from pre-test (60.16) and (2) in general, the students’ perception toward the semiotic method for teaching and learning poetry are good and positive.

The purpose of this research was to know the improvement of students’ learning outcomes of Indonesian subject in class IIB SD Undiksha Laboratory academic year 2017/2018 after applying model picture and picture assisted with audio visual media. The present research was a classroom action research held in 2 cycles. Every cycle consisted of the planning stages, the implementation, observation and evaluation and reflection. Methods used in collecting the data in this research was administering observation and test. In the first cycle, the average percentage of learning outcomes obtained was 82.67% and the average score of learning activities was 73.50 in which categorized as active, and teacher’s activity was categorized good with a score of 73.50. In second cycle data of learning result and activity of student and teacher had increased with 90,11% of average percentage of learning result and categorized very high, and students’ activity average score was 81,00 in which categorized active, teacher’s activity was categorized good with score equal to 81.00. Thus, it could be concluded that the application of picture and picture model assisted with audio-visual media could improve the students’ learning outcomes of Indonesian subject in class IIB SD Undiksha Laboratory academic year 2017/2018.

<p><em>This research was classroom action research. Classroom action research was a research that was conducted by a teacher in order to find out solutions of any problems found during teaching and learning process. In this research, it was done to explain whether by using an outline technique could improve the students’ writing paragraph and also to investigate some factors that influenced the students in writing descriptive paragraph. This research was done at grade VIII B of SMP Negeri 6 Sungai Penuh in academic year 2017/2018. From the result of the test in this research, the result was increased in cycle and two. In cycle one, the mean score was 58.25% and it increased to 76.87%, it increased 18.63% point. It meant that teaching writing through outline improved the students’ writing skill. The improvements were also improved on the result of each sub-indicators of writing test between cycle 1 and 2. </em></p>

The objectives of this research was to know the process of learning English vocabulary by using guessing words game and to know the students’ problem in learning English vocabulary by using guessing words game for the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 10 Palu in academic year of2019/2020 with the use of guessing words game technique. In this research, the researcher used qualitative research method. The researcher chose class VII D as sample which consisted of 23 students. In collecting the data, the researcher used four kinds of instruments, they were: observation,interview, test and document. Based on the observation, there are some problems in the teaching and learning. To solve those problems, the researcher implemented guessing words game as vocabulary activities. This research was conducted through classroom action research that consisted of two cycles. Each cycles consisted three meetings. The result of the research showed that there were some improvements of the students’ vocabulary. In cycle 1 average score was 62,86 there were some unsuccessful score. Meanwhile, in cycle 2 average score was 72,34 the implementation of guessing words game was successful in developing students vocabulary. Guessing words game gives better result to develop the students’ vocabulary. In other words, guessing words game is effective to use in teaching English vocabulary.

Classroom Action Research applied to Grade VIII students of SMPN 1 Sakra, conducted on the basis of the low level of achievement of the Year-End Achievement Test  in Mathematics at the 2017.2018 Academic Year, compared to the average achievement of 2017 Semester Final Assessment / 2018. This study was designed with the Kemmis Action model research procedure, with 2 cycles of action in two meetings. In the description of the results of the research cycle I, and II, there was an increase in the process and results of learning Mathematics with the implementation of the learning model the power of two. In the first cycle, the average score of students' knowledge was 53.67, in the second cycle there was an increase of 73.67, the results of observations of learning activities of students and teachers in cycle I 3, 50 and 2.71 and increased again in cycle II to 4 , 36 and 3.14 with the Good category.

The study aimed at improving the speaking achievement of the second semester students of Tridinanti Palembang by using Think-Pair-Share strategy (TPR). This study was an action research study. The steps in conducting the study were planning, actions and observation of action and reflections. The population of the study was all of the second semester students of Tridinanti University in the academic year 2016/2017. The sample used one class (10students). The data collections used by the researcher were tests and observation. The learning improvement indicators included in two things; (1) learning achievement, (2) teaching and learning process. In the study, the implementation was conducted into two cycles. The results showed that the average score of students’ speaking achievement was 66 in cycle I and the observation result was 62.82. The result had not been reached the target yet that was >70. At least more than 85% students could achieve the score above 70. Thus, cycle II was necessary to be implemented. In cycle II, the average score of speaking test was 81and the observation result was 81.06. The students had reached the target and the cycle was stopped. In conclusion, the implementation of TPR had brought significant improvement to the students’ speaking achievement.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui cara menerapkan Model Active Learning Start With A Question sehingga dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pokok bahasan segiempat dan segitiga. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subjek Penelitian ini adalah 22 siswa kelas VIIB SMP Negeri 6 Kota Bengkulu semester genap tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah adalah lembar observasi aktivitas siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa yang dilakukan dengan cara membentuk kelompok diskusi yang heterogen, menggunakan bahan ajar berupa handout, membimbing untuk mengambil andil tugas kegiatan kelompok, dan memberikan motivasi dan apresiasi berupa nilai plus dan pujian. Peningkatan aktivitas belajar dapat dilihat dari rata-rata skor pada lembar observasi aktivitas belajar siswa siklus I sampai siklus III secara berturut-turut: 14 (kriteria kurang); 20,375 (kriteria cukup); 26,5 (kriteria baik).Kata kunci: Aktivitas Belajar, Model Active Learning Start With A Question AbstractThis study aims to find out how to apply Active Learning Start With A Question Models so as to improve learning outcomes of mathematics on the topics of rectangle and triangle. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subject of this research is 22 students of class VII B SMP Negeri 6 Bengkulu City even semester of 2017/2018 academic year. The instrument used is activity observation sheets. The results showed that there was an improvement in the student's learning activities by forming heterogeneous discussion groups, using handout as assistance, guiding them to take on the task of group activities, and providing motivation and appreciation in the form of plus values and praise. The improvement of learning activity can be seen from the average score on the observation sheets of student learning activities from cycle I to cycle III respectively: 14 (less criteria); 20,375 (sufficient criteria); 26,5 (good criteria). This classroom action research aims to improve the mathematical communication skills at X grade student of SMA Negeri 2 Narmada Kab. Lombok Barat through cooperative learning type Think Pair Share (TPS) with Mr Math (Microsoft Mathematic). This research was conducted in 2 cycles, with the research subjects were students of class X2 of SMA Negeri 2 Narmada in the academic year 2016/2017 with a total of 24 students. From the research that has been carried out, it is found that the average value of the test of students' mathematical communication skills in the first cycle is 57.58 and the second cycle is 70.05. The percentage of classical completeness in the first cycle was 22.72% and the second cycle was 82.60%. This shows that students' mathematical communication skills have increased. The total average score of students' oral mathematical communication skills in the first cycle was 2.43 with a good enough category and the second cycle was 2.98 with a good category. This shows that students' verbal mathematical communication skills have increased and have reached the specified indicators. The total average score of observations of teaching and learning activities (KBM) in the first cycle was 2.70 with a good category and the second cycle was 3.15 with a good category. Thus, it can be concluded that the Think Pair Share (TPS) type of cooperative learning with Mr.Math can improve students' mathematical communication skills
