Tourism in the MICE sector is one of the fields that increases the income of the tourism sector. Business visitor/MICE expenditure in Thailand 3.5 times leisure visitor. This study aims to determine the quality and strategy of human resource development for the MICE Event Organizer in South Sulawesi. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach. There were four informants in the study. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques, namely data classified and analyzed with theories related to the object of research. The results of the research are the quality of MICE Human Resources at the Event Organizer in South Sulawesi Selatan is quite good and the MICE Event Organize HR Development Strategy in South Sulawesi, namely 3 main strategies, namely development through internships and guidance, development through education and training and career development.

The purposes of this research are to find out a) the strategies in human resources development to improve the quality of Postgraduate lecturers at IAIN Curup, (b) supporting factors, and  (c) the obstacles of human rights development. Using qualitative research method, the data were collected through interviews and documentary study. The research results showed that the strategies used for developing human resources or improving the quality of postgraduate lecturers include: (1) organizing the research methodology training; (2) holding the scientific journal writing training; (3) holding book writing/teaching materials training; and (4) involving lecturers into National and International Seminars. Supporting factors for human resource development are (a) high commitmentof  IAIN Curup Postgraduate management, (b) organization and socialization activities for professors acceleration programs, and (c) conducting coaching clinic activities for reputable international publications, in the form of programs to publish research results in reputable international scientific journals. Meanwhile, the obstacles are inadequate infrastructure and limited funds because there are still few students and tuition fee is still in the third category in the Ministry of Religion's General Cost Standards (SBU). The funds have not been fully handed over to the Postgraduate, because it is still centralized at the Institute, if the Postgraduate organize an activity, it must be approved by the Institute before it run.

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of human resource development management to increase quality at SD Negeri 90 Ogan Komering Hulu (OKU). This research is a qualitative research with  qualitative descriptive approach. The data obtained were collected through observation, interview and documentation techniques. The results showed that the human resource development steps carried out at SD Negeri 90 OKU were carried out in 7 steps, namely compiling programs, determining needs, determining targets, determining programs, identifying learning principles, program implementation and evaluation of program implementation. Human resource management at SD Negeri 90 OKU, both in terms of quality improvement, implementation, supporting factors and the quality of education have been running optimally.

This study aims to explore the pivotal role of the school principal in escalating his/her capacity as a supervisor. Supervision constitutes one of the principal’s duties that needs to be carried out for the purpose of supervising, evaluating performance, guiding, and motivating teachers to be able to make improvements, maintain teaching quality, and organize a better learning process. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed in this library research. The findings demonstrate the roles that principals take to maximize their role as a supervisor. Firstly, the principals should be able to understand the nature of supervision. This indicates that this re-understanding aims to enhance the process of supervision and guidance to teachers so as to improve the quality of their performance and teaching processes. Secondly, principals should be able to adapt and adopt various approaches to the implementation of supervision. The application in the supervision approach can be noticed in the exchange of information between principals and teachers, including the quality of learning. Thirdly, school principals should be able to increase human resources. The improvement should be carried out systematically and continuously through professional development. This illustrates that the principals’ role as a supervisor is very essential to promote the professionalism of teachers and educational staff.

Abstract: This study aims to determine the readiness of facilities and infrastructure in improving the quality of education to face the industrial revolution 4.0. The research used a qualitative descriptive approach at SMP Pangudi Luhur Salatiga. In this study, the analysis unit was used, namely facilities and infrastructure, while the observation unit was the principal, deputy head of the facilities and infrastructure sector, and educators. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation using triangulation techniques. Meanwhile, data analysis was carried out interactively with data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Conclusions from the study: (1) the planning of facilities and infrastructure has been carried out well; (2) the procurement of facilities and infrastructure has not been carried out properly, the priority scale is determined by the foundation not the school; (3) the maintenance of facilities and infrastructure has not been carried out optimally; (4) the elimination of facilities and infrastructure has never been carried out by schools, items that are no longer used are put into school warehouses; and (5) there are developments in facilities and infrastructure in the field of technology, while the human resources that are owned are still not professionally trained. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesiapan sarana dan prasarana dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan untuk menghadapi revolusi industri 4.0. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif di SMP Pangudi Luhur Salatiga. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan unit analisis yaitu sarana prasarana, sedangkan yang menjadi unit pengamatan yaitu kepala sekolah, wakil kepala bidang sarana dan prasarana, dan pendidik. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan pengamatan, wawancara, angket, dan dokumentasi dengan menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Sedangkan analisis data dilakukan secara interaktif dengan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Simpulan dari penelitian: (1) perencanaan sarana dan prasarana sudah dilakukan dengan baik; (2) pengadaan sarana dan prasarana belum dilakukan dengan baik skala prioritas ditentukan oleh yayasan bukan pada sekolah; (3) pemeliharaan sarana dan prasarana belum dilakukan secara optimal; (4) penghapusan sarana dan prasarana belum pernah dilakukan oleh sekolah barang yang sudah tidak digunakan dimasukkan kedalam gudang sekolah; dan (5) adanya perkembangan sarana dan prasarana dalam bidang teknologi, sedangkan sumber daya manusia yang dimiliki masih belum yang terlatih secara profesional.

Lemang is one of traditional food made from raw material of sticky rice (black and white) wrapped with banana leaf and put into bamboo container from Bangkala Subdistrict, Jeneponto Regency. This study aims to: (1) Describe the strategy in maintaining relationships with providers Lemang Dg Awing in District Bangkala (2) Describe the strategy in maintaining the relationship with the business of Lemang Dg Awing. (3) Describe the strategy in maintaining the quality of lemang in the business of Lemang Dg Awing. (4) Analyzing the business continuity hole in the case of Lemang Dg Awing business. This study used qualitative descriptive, participatory analysis tools and in-depth interviews, with research locations in Bangkala District, Jeneponto Regency, South Sulawesi. The results concluded that: 1. Strategy built by Dg. Awing with suppliers With suppliers for suppliers Invites suppliers to make events, Presents lemang to suppliers. Provide additional bonus through channeling for purchases of lemang 2. Dg Awing always maintains relationships  with  its  employees  such  as:  Always  work  in  the morning,  Invites employees at the time of the event, Provides support during times of big days, Provides money support, Prepares cold food and drinks on the part burning, especially during the day, Inviting vacation together. 3. Dg Awing Always pay attention to 6 basic components to maintain the quality of lemang remain stored, such as aroma, shape, size, taste, texture and color lemang 4. Dg. Awing continues to control 3 aspects for business continuity related to raw material suppliers, Maintain and maintain good relationships to its workers. Keep maintaining the quality of the lemang itself to continue to increase sales volume and increase consumer loyality in buying lemang.Keywords: lemang; traditional food; development strategy.

This article discusses the urgency of a management development program. A development principle that combines experiential learning, classroom learning and learning through others. The program development strategy can run well if it is accompanied by a well-planned human resource and capacity development program. So that it is expected to be able to help achieve the goals in producing high quality human resources. The human resource development strategy is a plan on how the quality of human resources can develop into a better direction and increase their work capacity. and have good loyalty to the company. Human resource development is needed for the continuity of a company so that it can develop more dynamically. because human resources are the most important element in a company.

The natural resources in Bulukumba district are readily available, but they are not optimally managed. Thus, the current economic growth of 5.05% is not high compared to other areas in South Sulawesi. Therefore, there is a need to increase the regional economic growth investment from both domestic and overseas sources. The purpose of this research is to determine the potential of the area and decide how the policy for supporting investments and strategies can be done to improve investment in the region. This research, using qualitative descriptive research methods, is a study conducted to determine the value of self-variables, either one or more variables (independent) without making comparisons or linking them with other variables.Qualitative research is a systematic scientific study of the parts and phenomena. The research results are known to the potential area with high competitiveness consisting of the agricultural, fisheries, and tourism sectors. The tourism sector is one of the flagships owned by Bulukumba. There are some tourism products that are superior to the area that are not owned by other regions such as the craft of “Phinisi” boat making as a product of the community culture and the culture of "amma toa" in kajang that has not been well managed. Bulukumba can be developed with clear rules so investors can enter and cultivate potential there in order for it to increase regional economic growth to a rate of 7.5%. Moreover, investment development strategy is the provision of convenience in terms of business licenses and the promotion of the area’s potential using technology.

This study aims to determine the condition of agro-tourism based on local natural resources and local wisdom based on the culture of Ciamis district. The effort to develop agro-tourism based on local culture is a form of effort to improve the quality and quantity of infrastructure and improve the quality of resources as an effort to develop tourism. with the existence of this agro-tourism concept, it is not only a business or business in the service sector that markets services towards consumer fulfillment of cool air, and beautiful scenery and environment, but is also able to take a role as a place for promotion of agricultural products, as a place of education for residents , gives hope to the potential to develop products from agribusiness and can become a new growth area. Therefore, agro-tourism is able to become a source of regional economy. Research methods use a qualitative descriptive approach, so that the application of activities in developing agro-tourism based on local natural resources and based on cultural wisdom, there is still a lack of assistance in human resource development and training and lack of communication between the government and community groups. culture and business groups.

Sektor pariwisata yang saat ini sedang banyak diminati masyarakat adalah konsep pariwisata pedesaan, seperti desa wisata. Di Gresik sendiri terdapat banyak sekali wisata yang dikembangkan oleh Pemerintah melalui Badan Usaha Milik Desa atau BUMDes seperti Desa Wisata Lontar Sewu di Desa Hendrosari. Berawal dari potensi desa yang apabila dikembangkan secara optimal dapat meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat sekitar sehingga mampu meningkatkan perekonomian masyakat Desa Hendrosari. Sebab itu perlu untuk dilakukan penelitian lebih jauh mengenai pentingnya pemberdayaan masyarakat. Sehingga penting untuk dilakukan pemberdayaan masyarakat dimana di Desa Hendrosari terdapat sumber daya alam yang mumpuni untuk dikelola sehingga jika dikelola lebih baik bisa untuk menambah pendapatan desa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan fokus penelitian menggunakan teori Pemberdayaan Masyarakat oleh Tim Delivery (Totok Mardikanto, 2013: 125-127). Karena pada awalnya dahulu desa hendrosari terkenal dengan desa penghasil minuman fermentasi sehingga konotasi dari Desa Hendrosari lebih ke arah negatif. Sehingga dengan adanya program kerja tersebut mampu mengubah image masyarakat tentang desa tersebut menjadi desa wisata. Masyarakat Desa Hendrosari mempunyai peran penting untuk melestarikan dan mengembangkan potensi yang ada seperti sumber daya alam dan sumber daya manusia. Sehingga mereka memiliki peran penting dalam tindakan pengambilan keputusan, mempengaruhi serta memberi manfaat bagi kondisi lingkungan yang ada disekitar. Pengelolaan yang baik menghasilkan tempat wisata yang dikenal dengan nama lontar sewu. Dengan adanya tempat wisata baru tersebut menghasilkan banyak pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui pengembangan desa wisata lontar sewu. Kata kunci :Lontar Sewu, Desa Hendrosari, Desa Wisata, Pemberdayaan Masyarakat,   The tourism sector which is currently in great demand by the public is the concept of rural tourism, such as a tourist village. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach with a research focus using the theory of community empowerment by the delivery team (Totok Mardikanto, 2013: 125-127). Because in the beginning, Hendrosari Village was known as a village that produced fermented drinks, so the connotation of Hendrosari Village was more negative. So that the existence of this work program is able to change the image of the community about the village into a tourist village. The Hendrosari Village community has an important role to play in preserving and developing existing potentials such as natural and human resources. So that they have an important role in decision-making actions, influence and benefit the surrounding environmental conditions. Good management produces a tourist spot known as lontar sewu. With this new tourist spot, it has resulted in a lot of community empowerment through the development of the Lontar Sewu tourism village. The full involvement of local communities in the tourism sector, not only benefits them and the environment in general, but also improves the quality of the tourism experience. Projects imposed from outside and motivated by the pursuit of rapid economic growth often override local needs, conditions and resources, and result in unacceptable environmental, social and cultural costs. Local involvement is crucial to sustainable and appropriate development, which meets the needs of the local people and safeguards their natural and cultural environments. Thus a local development strategy is essential, especially in disadvantaged areas and countries.
