The article presents a study of the state of use of educational information for the preparation of bachelors in cybersecurity. The key bases of the legislative base of Ukraine are analyzed. Based on a number of studies of the use of the Internet in the process of training bachelors in cybersecurity, the state of perception of different types of educational information by future bachelors in cybersecurity and the use of device types in the training of bachelors in cybersecurity. bachelors in cybersecurity. The subject of the research is the issues related to the means for learning on the Internet, social networks, distance learning courses, mass open distance courses, YouTube channels with interactive self-assessment of knowledge and in learning environments by means of network simulators for programming. The aim of the work is to publish the results of a study conducted during three semesters in order to study the state of use of educational information for the preparation of bachelors in cybersecurity. The methods of the conducted work include the method of interviews and questionnaires. The published results show that there is an increasing need to use distance learning courses, mass open distance courses, interactive YouTube channels for self-assessment of knowledge and in learning environments using network simulators for programming. The scope of the results is a methodological field for improving the methodology of training bachelors in cybersecurity, which require the use of electronic content, educational environments and communication systems in an educational-digital environment.

The general objectives of this study are: to analyze significant indicators for assessment of the effectiveness of Distance Learning (DL) courses; to check the extent to which such effectiveness is related to the quality of interactive processes; to examine characteristic elements of individuals’ conversations while they interact in study groups within virtual environments, with a view to contributing toward the effectiveness of DL courses; the development of a methodology for assessing the effectiveness of distance learning courses. Results confirm the importance of the context, the teacher, and learning-group variables for the effectiveness of distance courses. They also illustrate the relevance of certain speech features of students and teachers in virtual learning environments that generate conversational dynamics and contribute toward meeting the goals of DL courses.

Online learning, which was defined as a learning environment using computer communication systems for learning delivery and interaction (Harasim, 1990), has been involved into all facets of society’s education. Online learning can be considered as a subset of the category of e-learning because it refers specifically to learning that is occurring via the Internet or Intranet. Online learning environment normally refers to learning via electronic communications, coursework, and/or information posted on the Web, and through other instructional activities by using Internet.

Distance education is becoming an increasingly common method for delivering courses to postsecondary students. Presently, most course offerings are still primarily print-based. This author hypothesizes that augmenting print-based distance courses with other technologies enhances the effectiveness of student learning. The use of videotape, television, one- and two-way audio/videoconferencing is explored, as well as the use of the Internet. Strategies for integrating these technologies are presented, as well as some advantages and disadvantages of each.

Insertion of Graduates of Distance Learning Courses in the Labor Market: a Study Focused the Degree in Mathematics AbstractThe discussion on distance education has been increasingly in Brazil, particularly in recent years. Owing to the considerable increase in the number of students enrolled in distance courses, it is mister to understand how is the insertion of these students in the labor market, after their graduation. Thus, this research had as objective to investigate the insertion of graduates in Mathematics in the labor market, through a descriptive and field study, carried out among the students graduated from the Federal University of Paraiba in the distance modality, as well as with managers of private schools of the State. The research revealed that most of the students of course was already working in the labor market, even before their graduation. The school managers highlighted the importance of distance education, especially in regions where there are no universities installed and most of them do not consider the egress of distance courses less qualified to act in schools. Keywords: Distance education, Labor market, Graduation, Mathematics. A discussão sobre a Educação a Distância vem ganhando espaço cada vez maior no Brasil, notadamente nos últimos anos. This chapter describes how a traditional distance education provider, Anadolu University of Turkey, integrated computer-supported learning into its traditional distance courses. Anadolu University has been struggling with offering quality education to their large body of distance learners (approximately 1 million). To do so, the university tries to integrate computer-supported learning environments into its traditional correspondence programs. Building supplementary e-learning portals, through which learners can access videos, textbooks, audio books, computer-assisted instruction materials, self-tests, pedagogical and managerial support is one of the important steps taken. The authors hope that those who are interested in distance learning and computer-supported learning in different contexts will benefit from the efforts of Anadolu University explained in this chapter.

This contribution focuses on adult distance learning. Based on experiences at the Open University of the Netherlands we investigate specific problems that our students have with self-assessment and metacognition while studying. Starting from a literature review and complementing this with available student data from our teaching research center, we developed a conceptual framework that was iteratively adjusted and assessed by a questionnaire study and interviews. This allowed us to develop design guidelines for self-assessment support in distance learning environments. These guidelines were reviewed by experts. The input from the experts was used to modify the guidelines and iterate until they were considered complete. Tangible designs (i.e., mock-ups) for each of the self-assessment methods were proposed. These tangible designs were prototyped for later evaluation. Finally, we provide our conclusions and propose recommendations for actual application and systematic design.

As per the Merriam Webster dictionary, the definition of the distance learning is - “It is a method of study where teachers and students do not meet in a classroom but use the Internet, e- mail, video conference, audio conference mediums of the study. The assessments and doubt clearing also happen online and still there are some planned face to face interaction programs with the students.” In the late 1900s, correspondence courses started coming into the picture. These courses were mainly introduced for the working professionals and for the people who wish to go for competitive examinations as travelling to the university is difficult if it is far off. This is to enhance the access and reach for the learners. Many of the tutorial companies and coaching centers also use distance learning model to cater to the needs of IIT JEE/Civil services aspirants in India. However, distance-learning courses have much better acceptance in the western countries. In Europe and America, they have wider acceptance and several studies done have proven the need of the distance courses and the perception of the people about the distance courses is really good.

The article presents a study of the perception of different types of educational information by future bachelors in cybersecurity. The results of the study are characterized by the use of such types of information as audio (listen to audio), visual (watch video snippet), audio-visual (see video snippet with audio), presentations and electronic text without video or audio, as well as combinations all of these options. The subject of the research is the questions concerning the state of use of types of educational information in the educational environment in the process of preparation of bachelors in cybersecurity on a specialty, introduction of technology of distance and blended learning in universities. A comparative analysis of the types of information that is more readily perceived by higher education providers and their teaching staff is also made. The purpose of the work is to publish the results of a study that was conducted over three academic semesters in order to study the state of perception of different types of educational information by future bachelors in cybersecurity. Interviewing and interviewing methods are a part of the work done. The field of application of the results is a methodological field for improving the training of cybersecurity bachelors who require the use of electronic content, educational environments and communication systems in the Internet. Keywords: educational information, audio-visual information, textual information, cybersecurity bachelors training.
