Based on the analysis of data available in the literature and our own experimental material on phytocenotic selection of the stony stalk (Bromopsis inermis Holub.) the important role of competition between plants in the field for the creation of new varieties of perennial grasses that provide high yields of feed polyvid agrophytocenoses is shown.

Aim. An ancient dream of hemp farmers was the breeding of new varieties of monoecious hemp. The unexpected problem of hemp production has arisen the need to attract scientific breeding to create the world's first non-narcotic highly productive hemp. Methods. Measures of unconscious selection of plants in the period of threshing under the name "sichka" and "molochka" served as a prototype. The development of breeding methods was carried out in parallel to solve the problems of increasing the fiber content in the stems, the simultaneity of maturation, the creation of a new monoecious form of hemp, increase the yield of fiber and seeds and the removal of narcotically neutral new varieties. Results. Breeders of different generations researched and created new high-performance non-narcotic varieties of dioecious, simultaneously ripening and monoecious hemp varieties such as Hlukhivski 1, Hlukhivski 10, US 6, USO 1, USO 14, USO 16, Dniprovski odnodomni 6, USO 31, Hliana, Hlesia and others. Conclusions. Many years of cultivation of hemp and the creation of all new varieties of them showed that with a long substantiated study of this culture it is possible to obtain new information as yet unknown, due to the versatile differentiation of this culture by sexual types, openly showing the morphological and biological features of the sexes, representing gender forms that gradually change into one another, bringing researchers closer to new discoveries in genetics. Keywords: hemp, hemp forms, methods and ways of breeding, breeding varieties.

Mark Grimshaw-Aagaard addresses the role of sound in the creation of presence in virtual and actual worlds. He argues that imagination is a central part of the generation and selection of perceptual hypotheses—models of the world in which we can act—that emerge from what Grimshaw-Aagaard calls the “exo-environment” (the sensory input) and the “endo-environment” (the cognitive input). Grimshaw-Aagaard further divides the exo-environment into a primarily auditory and a primarily visual dimension and he deals with the actual world of his own apartment and the virtual world of first-person-shooter computer games in order to exemplify how we perceptually construct an environment that allows for the creation of presence.

Relevance. The creation of varieties with a complex of economically valuable traits, resistant to biotic and abiotic environmental factors, is the main direction in melon breeding. The market for vegetables and melons and gourds is very dynamic, the demands for varieties are constantly changing, therefore, it is necessary to introduce new varieties with high taste and commercial qualities, as well as capable of producing high yields in a changing climate. The aim of the work is to produce a new melon starting material for use in the breeding process.Materials and methods. At the Bikovskaya cucurbits breeding experimental station – branch of the Federal state budgetary scientific institution "Federal scientific vegetable center", research was carried out from 2018 to 2020. The object of research is samples from the collection of VIR, foreign and domestic selection, hybrid combinations obtained as a result of intervarietal hybridization. Collection samples of melon were studied in the nursery of the source material: 84 samples from the VIR collection, 26 samples of domestic and foreign selection were studied.Results. As a result of the research, samples of melon with economically valuable traits were identified that meet the requirements of selection. Paired crosses with zoned varieties of local selection were carried out with them. As a result of hybridization, hybrid combinations F1 were obtained, from which the best ones were selected for further breeding work. The obtained collection samples and hybrid combinations were evaluated in terms of taste, yield, resistance to environmental abiofactors, dry matter content, large-fruited, attractive color of the fruit and pulp As a result received a new source material for the selection of new varieties and hybrids of melons with valuable economic traits. The resulting hybrid combinations of F1 melon were tested against an infectious background. Hybrid combinations with the best performance will be further studied in a breeding nursery.

André Lefevere highlights the central role of translations in the creation of literary fame, that is, in ‘the general reception and survival of works of literature among non-professional readers’. Through translations, the image of an author is shaped and projected in different national, historical and cultural contexts. The analysis of the selection of poems translated, and the introduction, notes and annotations that usually accompany those translations, can provide us with a preliminary overview of the presence of an author in a specific country of reception. This is especially true in the case of the reception of William Blake in Spain. The part played by translations, especially the earliest ones, is remarkable because some not only made Blake's work available to a Spanish readership but also provide readers with long introductions that constituted the first and, for a long time, sole critical approach to the British poet in Spanish. This article traces the progressive creation of Blake's literary canon and fame in Spain through the comprehensive analysis of the existing translations, both in Spanish and Catalan.

Relevance. One of the types of agricultural raw materials for the food industry is the root chicory, the product from the roots of which is produced in pure form, as well as is an important component in the production of tea and coffee drinks, confectionery. Its value is determined by the content in the roots of inulin, fructose, intibin and chicory. Despite the great economic importance and economic profitability of chicory cultivation, in recent years, the local processing industry is not provided with this type of raw material and is forced to buy the product from dried root crops in other countries, such as Ukraine, Italy and India. Modern agricultural production is in dire need of new varieties of root chicory, combining high yields and chemical and technological qualities, having the form of a root crop suitable for mechanized harvesting, and adapted to cultivation in soil and climatic conditions of the Non-chernozem zone. Purpose of work: to assess the nature of the impact of ultraviolet radiation in the time mode on watermelon seeds using cytogenetic analysis.Material and methods. The article describes the results of the test in the control nursery of a new sample of chicory root with 0428 selection of Rostov OSC.Results. As a result of breeding work, a promising sample of root chicory. It was isolated early maturing, with high yields and economically valuable properties, root crop truncated, suitable for mechanized harvesting by commercially available machines.

As a result of the selection of eggplant the genetic source of a multisyllabic brush with well-executed fruits weighing 30–40 g and their quantity in one brush on 5–7 pieces are allocated. The use of detected donors inbreeding will allow creating eggplant varieties of a new type to expand the existing assortment and significantly increase the yield of eggplants culture, especially in conditions of high soil fertility and the use of advanced technologies with water–mineral drip feed.

The article presents the role of the staff representation under the Act of 4 October 2018 on Employee Capital Plans. Employee Capital Plans (PPK) are the part of third pillar of polish pension system. By creating the PPK, the legislature placed the staff representation and the employer under an obligation to co-decide on the form of the created capital plan. The method of identifying the staff representation, as defined in the Act on Employee Capital Plans, is modelled on the regulation contained in the Act on Occupational Pension Schemes. The Act on Employee Capital Plans states, that an occupational trade union organisation operating within the premises of the company excludes the competence of representation of employees. The legitimacy of the primacy of the trade union over the non-union representation of the staff stems, first of all, from the possibility of guaranteeing the employees’ effective participation in the selection of the financial institution.
