The research in this thesis prompted by the weakening of discipline teachers who could be seen among others, it can be seen from teachers who skip their class/ default teacher, teachers who late go to the class or school, teachers who have no learning or incomplete preparation and also the low student motivation.. So the researcher wanted to examine the influence of the discipline of teachers and students' motivation to improve students` achievement in the school. The research method used in this research was quantitative in particularly survey research. As for the population in this research were all Elementary School (MI) students throughout Wonodadi sub-district, 18 schools. By using cluster sampling method, four schools were selected, consisting of 2638 students and 229 teachers. In this research, the number of samples was based on the table of samples determining number from specific populations developed by Issac and Michael by using standard error of 5% in a number of 307 students and 135 teachers. Data was collected by questionnaire instrument. Data analysis and hypothesis testing in this research used simple regression, multiple regression. The results showed that (1) There was a positive and significant influence between the discipline and student achievement in Islamic Elementary School (MI) student achievement throughout Wonodadi sub-district. (2) There was a positive and significant influence between learning motivation on student achievement (3) There was a positive and significant influence between discipline and learning motivation on student achievement

Penelitin ini bertujuan untuk menganlisis apakah kompetensi kepribadian guru berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa melalui motivasi belajar siswa secara langsung maupun tidak langsung kelas X pada mata pelajaran produktif Administrasi Perkantoran SMK di Kota Cimahi. Penelitian menggunakan metode survey dengan teknik penyebaran angket kepada 94 responden dan teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi kepribadian guru berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar siswa, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin tinggi kompetensi kepribadian guru maka semakin tinggi pula motivasi belajar siswa. Motivasi belajar siswa berpengaruh positif terhadap prestasi belajar siswa, sehingga dapat disimpulkan semakin tinggi motivasi belajar siswa maka semakin tinggi pula prestasi belajar siswa. Kompetensi kepribadian guru berpengaruh positif dan signifikan secara langsung maupun tidak langsung terhadap prestasi belajar siswa melalui motivasi belajar siswa, sehingga dapat disimpulkan semakin tinggi kompetensi kepribadian guru melalui motivasi belajar siswa maka semakin tinggi prestasi belajar siswa.Kata Kunci: kompetensi kepribadian guru, motivasi belajar, prestasi belajar AN ANALYSIS OF THE INFLUENCE OF PERSONAL COMPETENCE OF TEACHERS WITH MOTIVATION TO LEARN AS AN INTERVENING VARIABLE ON ACHIEVEMENT OF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE STUDENT GRADE XThis study aimed to analyze the influence of teacher’s personality competence has positive and significant impact toward student achievement through students’ learning motivation directly or indirectly on the subject of class X of Office Administration productive SMK in Cimahi. The research method used survey methods by distributing questionnaires to 94 students as respondents in grade X of Office Administration and data analyzed by simple regression analysis. The results showed that the of the teacher's personality competence has positive and significant impact on student motivation, so it can be concluded that the higher of the teacher's personality competence, the higher the students' learning motivation. Students’ learning motivation has positive effect on student achievement, so it can be concluded the higher the students' learning motivation, the higher the student achievement. The teacher's personality competence has positive and significant impact on student achievement through students’ learning motivation, so it can be concluded the higher the of the teacher's personality competence through the students' learning motivation, the higher of student achievement.Keywords: teacher's personality competence, learning motivation, academic achievement

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the intensity of parental guidance and infrastructure to the students' motivation and their implications for student achievement Smk Ulil Albab Cirebon Depok. The purpose of this study are: 1) To find a picture of student achievement, the intensity of parental guidance, facilities and students' motivation to learn; 2) To determine the effect intensity of parental guidance and infrastructure to student motivation and its implications on learning achievement. The method used is descriptive survey method verification. Data collected through questionnaires. In this study were used as the student population is Smk Ulil Albab Cirebon Depok many as 1556 people. The sample was 318 people. By using a sampling technique that is proportional random sampling. Based on the calculation and analysis of data, it can be concluded that: 1) Overview of learning achievement Students medium category, the intensity of parental guidance category is, the infrastructure category is, and student motivation sedang.2 category) there is a positive influence on the intensity of parental guidance and infrastructure on the students motivation. 3) There is no positive effect of the intensity of parental guidance on motivation to learn. 4) There is a positive effect of infrastructure study on motivation to learn. 5) There is no positive effect of the intensity of parental guidance, infrastructure and learning motivation on learning achievement. 6) There is no positive effect of the intensity of parental guidance on learning achievement. 7) There is no positive effect of infrastructure on student achievement. 8) There is no positive effect of learning motivation on student achievement.

This study aims to determine the effect of leadership and work discipline on the performance of public elementary school teachers in Cluster I, Rambutan District, Banyuasin Regency. This type of research is quantitative. The sample in the study was 55 respondents with data collection techniques in the form of a questionnaire (questionnaire). The results showed that: 1) there is a significant influence of leadership on teacher performance, 2) there is a significant effect of work discipline on teacher performance, 3) there is a significant influence between leadership and work discipline on teacher performance.

This journal has recently featured articles that stressed the importance of having elementary school teachers and students learn to write simple computer programs. This emphasis suggests the need to share successful strategies for helping teachers to gain elementary programming skills. Teachers will then be more likely to introduce or offer direction for students' programming in their classrooms. One successful approach uses discovery learning and leads naturally to programming without creat ing inhibiting anxiety. The objective is not to produce expert computer programmers but rather to help teachers understand the elementary constructs of BASIC and to begin writing simple programs. The approach uses short programs that illustrate educationally sound uses of computers in the classroom. The central, elementary constructs of BASIC are taught through the simultaneous study of program listings on paper and program output on the monitor.

<p>This study aims to investigate the relationship between the spiritual intelligence, self-control, and life satisfaction in high school teachers of Mahshahr city. To this end, 253 people of all high school teachers in Mahshahr city were selected as the sample using the multistage cluster sampling method. For data collection, King’s (2008) spiritual intelligence questionnaire, Schneider’s self-control questionnaire and Diener et al. (1985) life satisfaction questionnaire were used. For data analysis, Pearson’s correlation coefficient was used. Results showed that there is a positive and meaningful relationship between the self-control and life satisfaction. However, there is no a meaningful relationship between the spiritual intelligence and life satisfaction. Results also showed that spiritual intelligence and self-control can predict the life satisfaction.</p>

This study aims to find out how the influence of learning motivation on student achievement in school. This research is focused on the teacher's role in fostering student learning motivation. This motivation is very important for improving student learning achievement. Because as is well known, student motivation in learning is lacking. This will affect its success in learning. For this reason, there is a need for efforts by teachers to increase interest in learning and motivate students to be more enthusiastic about achieving in school. The approach taken in this journal research is the approach (library research) which uses literature as its object. From the research of several literatures, the results of this study indicate that learning motivation has an influence on student learning activities, especially on student achievement. The higher the student's motivation, the better the learning achievement. Vice versa, the lower the motivation of student learning, it will be difficult for these students to achieve achievement in learning. The teacher also has a very important role and has an influence on student motivation in school.

Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi belajar siswa dan pemanfaatan fasilitas belajar siswa terhadap prestasi belajar siswa kelas XI IPS di SMA Negeri 7 Balikpapan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPS di SMA Negeri 7 Balikpapan yang berjumlah 126 siswa dan dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 96 siswa yang dipilih secara simple random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan, wawancara, observasi, kuesioner, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian (1) motivasi belajar siswa memiliki nilai 4,088 > 1,986 artinya variabel motivasi belajar siswa memiliki pengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar siswa kelas XI IPS di SMA Negeri 7 Balikpapan sebesar 40,88%. (2) pemanfaatan fasilitas belajar memiliki nilai 2,543 > 1,986 artinya variabel pemanfaatan fasilitas belajar memiliki pengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar siswa kelas XI IPS di SMA Negeri 7 Balikpapan sebesar 25,43%. (3) Terdapat pengaruh secara bersama-sama antara variabel motivasi belajar dan pemanfaatan fasilitas belajar terhadap prestasi belajar siswa kelas XI IPS di SMA Negeri 7 Balikpapan tahun ajaran 2018/2019, dengan nilai 9,957 > 3,09. Kata kunci: Motivasi Belajar, Pemanfaatan Fasilitas Belajar, dan Prestasi Belajar. ABSTRACT This research is a type of quantitative research that aims to determine the effect of student learning motivation and utilization of student learning facilities on student achievement in class XI IPS in SMA Negeri 7 Balikpapan. The population in this study were students of class XI IPS in SMA Negeri 7 Balikpapan, totaling 126 students and with a total sample of 96 students selected by simple random sampling. Data collection techniques in this study using, interviews, observations, questionnaires, and documentation. Based on the results of the study (1) student motivation has a value of t count 4.088> t table 1.986 means that the variable of student motivation has an influence on student achievement in class XI IPS in SMA Negeri 7 Balikpapan by 40.88%. (2) the utilization of learning facilities has a value of t count 2.543> t table 1.986 meaning that the variable utilization of learning facilities has an influence on student achievement in class XI IPS in SMA Negeri 7 Balikpapan by 25.43%. (3) There is a joint effect between the variables of learning motivation and the use of learning facilities on the learning achievement of students of class XI IPS in SMA Negeri 7 Balikpapan in the academic year 2018/2019, with a value of F count 9,957> F table 3.09 . This study aims to determine the effect of learning quality, tutor quality and motivation both jointly and partially on student achievement at the Palembang Open University (Pokjar Pangkalan Lampam - Tulung Selapan. The research approach is quantitative research with associative research type. The population of this study is 186. students. The sampling method for probability with the Stratified Random Sampling method. The sample of this study was calculated using the Slovin formula with an error rate of 10%, the number of samples was 65 students as respondents. The first sample was tested using the Instrument Validity Test and the Instrument Reliability Test. The analysis model used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. The regression calculation can be Y = -1.649 + 0.567X1 + 0.351X2 + 0.457X3. Interpretation of the multiple regression equation regarding the influence of the Learning Quality Variables (X1), Tutor Quality (X2) and Learning Motivation (X3), on Student Learning Achievement (Y). The results of the calculation of the three coefficients of the independent variable are positive, this indicates a positive linear relationship (unidirectional), meaning that the quality of learning, quality of tutors and learning motivation, the better, the better the student achievement. Obtained a correlation coefficient (R) of 0.712, with a level of closeness between variables of 0.712 which is in the interpretation of the correlation value (0.60-0.799) means that the relationship between the two variables is significant and the level of closeness is strong. The coefficient of determination value R2 = 0.507, which means that the variables of Learning Quality, Tutor Quality, and Learning Motivation are able to explain the Student Learning Achievement Variables of 0.507 or 50.7%, while the remaining 49.3% is explained by other factors not examined.
