Abstract The evolution of teaching is currently considered a very important task, both from an institutional and a moral viewpoint. The evaluation of such a domain, and its conduct, has been reported by several research studies in the literature. “Who? What? How? Drawing from which references? Which clues? Should the people assessed take part in the process? To what extent should the results be publicized?” (Demailly, 2001). For that reason, we will first draw some guidelines for the evaluation of teaching and try to define its possible objectives. Three main domains may be contemplated: teachers’ activity (teaching), the learning process (learning), and the effects of the teaching/learning process. These draw upon an enquiry carried out in three different faculties by our research team. This study is related to the VOLUBILIS project "Moroccan and European students: a comparative approach”, which aims to identify the challenges and expectations of Moroccan students. The purpose of this research is to indicate how students at Hassan II University of Casablanca judge the quality of their studies. We will be able to show that an evaluation of courses by students is both possible and profitable. As a matter of fact, this enquiry has brought up valuable information about higher education pedagogy that concerns the three fields mentioned earlier, and it also offer some suggestions to generate improvements. Abstract Sociological research on wildlife typically looks at how nonhuman animals in the wild are hunted, poached, or captured for entertainment, or how they play a symbolic role in people’s lives. Within sociology, little research exists on how people appreciate nonhuman animals in the wild, and how people contribute to wildlife conservation. I explore birding-related citizen science projects in the US. Citizen science refers to scientific projects carried out by amateurs. Literature on citizen science focuses on the perspective of professional scientists, with the assumption that only professional scientists are concerned with the quality of data from citizen science projects. The research showed birders share this skepticism, but they still find satisfaction in participating in citizen science projects. This paper contributes to sociological understandings of wildlife conservation by showing how birders’ participation in citizen science projects helps professional scientists study environmental problems such as climate change and its effects on wildlife.

Grammar is one of important aspects of a language that makes the language learnable and teachable. The teaching of grammar, especially foreign language grammar, needs a serious attention from the teachers and related institutions. Specifically in universities, the teaching of English grammar should provide the students with theoretical concepts of the English grammar and opportunity to use the concepts in their communication. The grammar teaching should also offers suitable assignments by which they may test their language hypothesis. To establish and develop the students’ knowledge about the English grammar, the use of students’ mother tongue as an instructional language in the classroom was considered effective. However, an experimental research conducted by Refnita (2006) showed that the use of Bahasa Indonesia as an instructional language of Grammar I subject was not more effective than the use of English. It is true that bahasa Indonesia is not the students’ mother tongues, but they have mastered it as almost perfectly as their mother tongues. That’s why in her research bahasa Indonesia was considered similar with the students’ mother tongues. The rejection of the proposed research hypothesis implied that pedagogical and psychological factors should be taken into account in the teaching-learning process because the success of learning English grammar does not solely depend upon the instructional language. Further analysis of the research result reflected that the students’ motivation and learning readiness even more determined the success of learning Grammar I. In relation with this phenomenon, the present article, which is based on and developed from the research result, will discuss further the pedagogical and psychological reflections of grammar teaching that need to be considered in the teaching-learning process of English grammar at universities in addition to the use of instructional language.

Fast development and change in ICT have prompted the dispersion of innovation in teaching instructions. The motivation behind this assessment is to explore teachers’ recognition in incorporating ICT in their educating-learning process. The assessment questions focused to estimating teachers' product use and other instructional devices and materials, inclinations for proficient improvement on data assembling and support, factors that empower instructors' use of innovation, teachers' view of self-adequacy and obstructions that instructors focused upon in the middle of innovation usage in instructing learning process. A populace of 25 instructors at DHA School took part in this overview. The outcome on equipment and programming use demonstrates that lion's share of instructors in the school can't utilize equipment in showing learning process due to primarily deficiency of assets. Teachers who can't utilize ICT as instructional apparatus are 76 percent higher than the individuals who can utilize it. This demonstrates most educators in the school are not incorporating ICT in the course they instruct. In respect of the data and bolster administrations, there is no equivalent help benefit from the specialized help units. DHA School is found as poor by most of the teachers in preparing ICT trainings. The factors that encourage technology are considered highly important to apply ICT in teaching-learning process. Even though, the school teachers have strong positive perception for using ICT in teaching-learning process. Teachers’ perception toward ICT usage to increase quality of curriculum and their eventual productiveness is found as significant. This indicates that the teachers realize the productivity in integrating ICT in their professional approach. However, majority of the teachers pointed out that one of the barriers to technology implementation is lack of teachers’ technical knowledge and shortage of resources. This shows that equipping the school with ICT related apparatus is not enough for attaining educational modification. Hence, the school should critically focus on teachers’ abilities for integrating ICT in whole curriculum to make each subject’s lesson interactive and easily understandable by their students.
