The purpose of this development research is to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of using Powtoon animation learning media for flat-sided geometry. The development model used is the ADDIE model. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII-2 MTsS Syamsuddhuha (junior high religious school). The percentage results of product assessment by media experts are 96% in the very feasible category, the percentage result of product assessment by material experts is 92% in the very feasible category, and the percentage result of product assessment by 10 small group students is 94% in the very feasible category. Based on the results of the product assessment by all validators who stated that it was very feasible, the Powtoon animation learning media developed had meet the criteria for use for students. The effectiveness of using the product can be seen from the results of the comparison of the students' average pretest and posttest scores. The resulting product is effective in increasing the understanding of mathematical concepts, as evidenced by the average pretest score of 43,44, an increase in the posttest of 84,27, and the N-Gain value of 0,72 in the high category. It can be concluded that Powtoon animation learning media is feasible and effective to be used in improving the understanding of mathematical concepts.

Abstract:Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LPKD) can help students understand the concept of material, both theoretically and in real events that often occur in everyday life. This study tries to determine the development process and quality of LKPD to improve students' understanding the concepts of algebra. The development research used refers to the Plomps model, which includes 4 phases: (a) the initial investigation, (b) the design, (c) the realization, and (d) the test, evaluation, and revision. The product assessment instrument used was the LKPD validation sheet, the LKPD observance sheet, student and teacher response questionnaires, student and teacher activity observation sheets, and tests of students' ability to understand mathematical concepts. The LKPD that was designed and tested on grade VII students at one of the schools in Soppeng had met the criteria of being valid, effective, and practical.Abstrak:Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LPKD) berbasis masalah dapat membantu peserta didik memahami konsep materi, baik secara teori maupun dalam peristiwa nyata yang sering terjadi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini mencoba mengetahui proses pengembangan dan kualitas LKPD matematika berbasis masalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep aljabar peserta didik. Penelitian pengembangan yang digunakan mengacu pada model pengembangan Plomp, yang meliputi 4 fase, yaitu: (a) fase investigasi awal, (b) fase desain, (c) fase realisasi, dan (d) fase tes, evaluasi, dan revisi. Instrumen penilaian produk yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi LKPD, lembar pengamatan keterlaksaan LKPD, angket respon peserta didik dan guru, lembar pengamatan aktivitas peserta didik dan guru, dan tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika peserta didik. LKPD yang didesain dan diujicobakan kepada siswa kelas VII di salah satu sekolah di Soppeng telah memenuhi kriteria valid, efektif dan praktis.

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah selama proses perkuliahan Teori Graf berlangsung buku yang digunakan oleh mahasiswa mengacu pada berbagai buku teks yang beredar di pasaran namun urutan penyampaiannya tidak seragam dan terstruktur. Buku teks khusus teori graf sangat jarang sekali ada. Kalaupun ada, seringkali masuk pada sub bab matematika diskrit, sehingga dosen sering mengalami kesulitan untuk meramu materi yang sesuai dengan silabus dan RPS. Ketidaktersediaan buku Teori Graf yang dijadikan acuan sebagai sumber belajar menyebabkan mahasiswa sulit memahami konsep. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan buku ajar kompilasi Teori Graf yang berkualifikasi baik dan layak diterapkan dalam perkuliahan teori graf oleh dosen dan mahasiswa di STKIP PGRI Tulungagung. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari analisis, perancangan, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil validasi buku ajar teori graf menunjukkan bahwa ahli isi/materi menilai buku ajar berkualifikasi baik, ahli desain pembelajaran menilai buku ajar berkualifikasi baik, dan ahli media pembelajaran menilai buku ajar berkualifikasi baik. Rerata hasil uji pada kelompok kecil baik dosen maupun mahasiswa menunjukkan bahwa buku ajar yang dihasilkan berada pada kualifikasi baik. Hasil penelitian pengembangan adalah buku ajar kompilasi teori graf berkualifikasi baik, layak, dan siap digunakan oleh dosen dan mahasiswa di STKIP PGRI Tulungagung. Kata kunci: buku ajar kompilasi, teori graf, model ADDIE.   ABSTRACT The background of this research is, during the Graph Theory lecture, the books used by students are textbooks on the market which have an unstructured contents and order. Special textbooks on graph theory are very rare, even if they are often included in the sub-chapter of discrete mathematics, so that lecturers often have difficulty compiling material that is in accordance with the syllabus and lesson plans. The unavailability of the graph theory book as learning sources has made the lack of students’ understanding the concept. The purpose of this study is to produce good quality and feasible text theory compilation textbooks in lectures on graph theory by lecturers and students at STKIP PGRI Tulungagung. This research is a development research. The development model used in this study is the ADDIE model, which includes five steps: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data is collected using questionnaire. The results of the validation of graph theory textbooks are content/material experts assess textbooks as well qualified, learning design experts assess textbooks as well qualified, and learning media experts assess textbooks as well qualified. The average test results in small groups both lecturers and students indicate that the textbook is in good qualification. Thus the development research stated that the textbook compilation of qualified graph theory is good, feasible, and ready to be used by lecturers and students at STKIP PGRI Tulungagung. The ability of students to understand the concept of learning varies, it is very necessary to know the level of understanding of students' concepts in learning mathematics, so that it becomes a rationale in determining the appropriate learning approach. This study aims to determine the effect learning approach of the ELPSA eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 6 Makassar. The type of research used is experimental research. The design of this research is the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population in this study were students of class VIII SMP Negeri 6 Makassar in the 2019/2020 academic year and the research sample was determined by the Cluster Random Sampling technique. The instrument in this study was an essay test on understanding mathematical concepts. The data analysis used was descriptive and inferential. The descriptive research results show that there is an increase in understanding of the mathematical concept after the application of the ELPSA learning approach; the score of concept understanding after the application of the ELPSA learning approach met the completeness criteria, namely more than 80; and completeness of students' conceptual understanding after being applied classical ELPSA learning approach is 97% complete. The inferential hypothesis testing results show that the application of the ELPSA learning approach affects the understanding of mathematical concepts in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 6 Makassar.

The purpose of this research was to find out the increase in the ability to understand mathematical concepts of students who were taught with better Conceptual Understanding Procedures (CUPs) models than students who were taught with convensional model on the material of flat side space in MTsS Dama Puteh. The CUPs models has three stages including: individual, triplets, and class discussions. The author uses an experimental research design with a quasi-experimental design. Sampling was done using population random sampling. In this study all students of class VIII MTsS Dama Puteh. In this study consisted of two classes, namely class VIIIB as an experimental class and class VIIIA as a control class. Data collection using the ability test mathematical concept understanding of the results showed that based one the t-test obtained tcount = 1,8 and ttable = 1,68. Because tcount > ttable so that it can be concluded that the increased ability of understanding mathematical concepts of students taught with more CUPs models better than students who were taught with convensional models on the material to build flat side spaces in MTsS Dama Puteh.

This research is a descriptive qualitative research using test and interview method. Research subjects randomly selected as many as 30 students from two classes. Students need microbiology textbooks that contain the latest research results so that microbiological material is dynamic. The research problem is how is the form of developing microbiology textbooks based on research results that meet the criteria of eligibility or validity. The study aims to determine the form of development of microbiology textbooks based on research results that meet the criteria of eligibility or validity. This research is a development research using the Thiagarajan 4-D development model, which includes define, design and develop stages. The microbiology textbooks developed were tested for validity and attractiveness to microbiology material experts, instructional media experts, practitioners and a small group of students who had taken microbiology courses. The results showed that the research-based microbiology textbooks were declared feasible or valid by a team of experts, practitioners, and students. Research-based microbiology textbooks are unique in that they contain research work procedures in the laboratory so as to facilitate students to understand microbiology material and establish life skills.

This research including development research (Research and Development) aims to Communication, Collaborative, Critical Thinking, and Creativity (4C)-based Ice Breaking Learning Media Developed on Integrative Thematic Learning. The subjects in this study were students and fifth grade teachers of MIS Nurul Huda, Kupang. The development model used in this study is the Four D development model which consists of 4 stages: (1) define, (2) design, (3) develop, and (4) disseminate. This 4C-based Ice Breaking learning media developed media has carried out a trial process consisting of one-on-one trials of 10 people, small group trials of 12 people and class trials of 34 students. The 4C-based Ice Breaking learning media developed have been validated by the Validator and has undergone revisions so that it gets very feasible and practical results to be used in learning because based on the research results of the Guidelines for Making 4C Ice Breaking Media and 4C Ice Breaking LKPD, and all the media in the latest book, including: puzzles, flipcharts, leaflets, sketches, and learning videos meet very valid criteria so they are very feasible and very practical to be used in the learning process.

This type of research is development research by using the ADDIE model. This research aimed to produce products of audio visual media which were valid, practical and effective. The research was conducted at SMA Srijaya Negara Palembang. This research consisted of 5 stages, namely 1) analysis (pre-test and interview with BK teacher), 2) design (making RPL and media manuscript), 3) development (making media, after the media was finished, the researcher conducted validation with three experts: material expert, media expert, language expert and small group test), 4) implementation (field test and post-test), 5) evaluation (strengths and limitations of the media). The results obtained at pretest with materials that can be updated in the future are 47.9% in the "moderate" category, which means that students still need improvement. From the comments and suggestions given by the three experts, the results of the media were valid and appropriate to be tested in a small group trial. The students gave comments and suggestions to improve the video, after which the researcher conducted a field test, the results obtained were 87% "very practical" and in the post-test 88.9% of the" high "category was obtained. The effectiveness of audio visual media obtained by N-Gain was 0.71 which "high" category. From the results of the research, it can be concluded that the classical audio visual service media developed has been valid, practical and effective used in classical service delivery on the career field of future orientation materials.

This research aims to determine the influence of Think Talk Write (TTW) strategy to understand of mathematical concept students class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Lubuklinggau. The method used in this research is pure experiment. The population is the entire class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Lubuklinggau academic year 2016/2017 which amounts to 444 students, as the sample is class VIII.9 as experimental class and class VIII.7 as a control class taken at random. Data collection is done by test technique. Collected data was analyzed using t-test at significant level α = 0,05, obtained tcount > ttable that is 3,48 > 1.67, so it can be concluded that there is significant influence of Think Talk Write (TTW) strategy to understanding of mathematical concepts student class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Lubuklinggau. The average score of students' understanding of mathematical concepts in the final test of the experimental class is 25.23 and the control class is 17.44. The purpose of this study was making valid and practical essay questions on prism and pyramid for students' ability to understand mathematical concepts. The method used was Research and Development with the Tessmer development model consisting of preliminary stages, self-evaluation, expert review and one-to-one stages. The results of this study were in the form valid and practical (legible) essay questions on prism and pyramid for the ability to understand mathematical concepts. the validity of the questions was seen from the validators' comments on the questions and the practicality (legibility) of the questions is seen from the readability of the questions when given to students. There were 10 valid and practical (legible) questions obtained in the end of this research.
