It is well known that reading and writing techniques are learned throughout childhood and that they have a great significance for further development of each individual and the society in general. However, in this day and age children make their first contact with language and script using the widespread digital media. Later in life this will have a negative effect on their ability to recognize letters and start reading.Nowadays Croatian schools are experiencing intensive informatization of educational process. It is expected that modern technology will be used daily, for several hours. On the other hand, we have been witnessing everyday (mis)use of technology by the young people in their free time. The questions then arise: how much time will the students be exposed to the influence of the media on a daily basis, either for educational purposes or for fun? What consequences will this exposure have for them? Numerous researches have shown that overexposure to technology affects cognitive abilities of young people.It is true that young people possess technological skills which they use much more efficiently than the older population, but at the same time they have difficulties assessing or evaluating the sources of information. One of the possible problems is their lack of knowledge about how information is organized or the lack of previous knowledge of a certain field.As far as texts are concerned, most young people will choose printed ones because they think that learning through electronic media is tiresome. The (in)efficiency of learning from e-books is related to excessive use of hyperlinks and other links that divert attention.At the beginning of the school year 2019/2020, Croatian schools will introduce curricular reform which will be accompanied by an emphasized use of tablets and digital content. As educational experts, we advocate optimum implementation of media as technology that makes communication easier, but does not condition it. Communication in educational institutions should be mostly oriented towards quality, content of information and critical approach and to a lesser extent towards the possibilities offered by the media as a means of communication.As to the use of multimedia technology for educational purposes, the e-book and e-reading will be related to specific tasks, research, projects and tasks in popular science area. On the other hand, printed books will still be read in free time, for pleasure and for literary needs. The above are the results of our research done on reading e-books in elementary schools in the Republic of Croatia. With this research we have shown that the so-called Google generation still does not like reading online, including the assigned reading at schools. As it turns out, the assumption that the young people who have been surrounded by the new technology since their birth, will likewise be more interested in reading texts in the new media, is in fact wrong, despite favourable technical conditions. They use the internet and the technology for communication and for fun, but rarely for studying.Therefore, a pilot survey among eighth grade students is about to be conducted. It will show their attitudes and reflections about using more media at the same time (multitasking) and how it affects their studying. It will also show whether the students’ attitude toward e-books and reading has changed.

Violence has been a part of daily life in both traditional and digital media. Consequently, neither the existence of violence in the media nor the debates on this subject are new. On the other hand, the presentation of violence in fictional content should be viewed from a different point of view, especially in the context of aesthetization. Within this context, in this chapter, the serial of Penny Dreadful is analyzed. As analyzing method, Tahsin Yücel's model of the “space/time coordinates of narrative” is used. And the subject of “aestheticization of violence” is analyzed through a serial with the elements of person, space, and time. Thus, the role of not only physical beauty but also different components in the aestheticization of violence is examined.

The impact of youth education strategies, that is, on their transition to an institutional state and the improvement of their life plans through their level of education, has been analyzed.

Connecting to the  electronic information network (internet) became the most characteristic that distinguish this era However , the long hours which young men daily spend on the internet On the other hand ,there are many people who are waiting for the chance to talk and convince them with their views This will lead the young people to be part in the project of the “cyber armies “that involved with states and terrorist organizations  This project has been able  to recruitment hundreds of people every day to work in its rank . It is very difficult to control these websites because we can see the terrorist presence in all its forms in the internet   In addition there are many incubation environments that feed in particular the young people minds                                                                                         Because they are suffering from the lack of social justice Also the unemployment, deprivation , social and political repression So , that terrorist organizations can attract young people through the internet by convincing them to their views and ideas . So these organizations will enable to be more  stronger.

The covid-19 resulted in broad range of spread throughout the world in which India has also became a prey of it and in this situation the means of media is extensively inϑluencing the mentality of the people. Media always played a role of loop between society and sources of information. In this epidemic also media is playing a vital role in shaping the reaction in ϑirst place for both good and ill by providing important facts regarding symptoms of Corona virus, preventive measures against the virus and also how to deal with any suspect of disease to overcome covid-19. On the other hand, there are endless people who spread endless rumours overs social media and are adversely affecting life of people but we always count on media because they provide us with valuable answers to our questions, facts and everything in need. Media always remains on top of the line when it comes to stop the out spread of rumours which are surely dangerous kind of information for society. So on our side we should react fairly and maturely to handle the situation to keep it in the favour of humanity and help government not only to ϑight this pandemic but also the info emic.

Abstract The Educator as a Manager. A Critical View In the following article tasks and motifs of the educator as manager are described. It is clear that there are other educator metaphors and associated behaviors. To some extent, the actions of the different educator metaphors overlap, but they differ in their purpose and perspective on the educational process and the person to be educated. First, a short time diagnosis is made, which describes the context of this metaphor of the educator as manager. Subsequently, on the one hand, the various motifs, tasks and objectives of an educator as manager are discussed. On the other hand, it is asked if it is possible in the current discourse to take a different perspective on the educational process.

This research aims to analyse the term interaction, through which experiences are exchanged in their knowledge and skill aspects, between the parties to the interaction. On the other hand, language has multiple formats, and interactive formats. Which carries common cultures and social customs. Therefore, linguistic interaction is the mainstay in linking social relations. The interaction within the classroom is one of the most important factors that increase the effectiveness of the educational process. There are three types of interaction that can occur in the educational process, interaction between the teacher and students, interaction between the teacher and one student, and interaction between the students themselves in the class. Advocates of digital education have increasingly recognized the need for young people to acquire digital media literacy. However, this idea is often seen in instrumental terms, and is rarely implemented in any coherent or comprehensive way. This paper suggests that we need to move beyond a binary view of digital media as offering risks and opportunities for young people, and the narrow ideas of digital skills and internet safety to which it gives rise. The article propose that we should take a broader and more critical approach to the rise of ‘digital capitalism’, and to the ubiquity of digital media in everyday life. In this sense, the paper argue that the well-established conceptual framework and pedagogical strategies of media education can and should be extended to meet the new challenges posed by digital and social media.This article presents some reflections as an epigraph of the special issue "Digital learning: distraction or default for the future", whose final result has allowed us to group a set of critical research and analysis on the inclusion of digital technologies in educational contexts. The points of view presented in this epigraph is also developed in more detail in the book "The Media Education Manifesto" (Buckingham, 2019).

Abstract: In today's technological developments, digital images are a medium that is often used to store a person's identity. Digital images are currently widely used for data security needs. On the other hand, images can also be used as a medium for tapping data. Today's digital media provide many things in manipulating and changing the information contained in these images. In this study, the authors conducted a study to examine similarities in digital images so that it could be seen whether the information was authentic or not. detecting image similarities can help find out information whether the image is the same as the original object or not. The method used in this research is the Eigen Face method. The face eigen method is a method that can be used to check and match the similarities of an image. With the eigenface value, Figure 1, Figure 2, Figure 3, it can be determined that with other eigenface values can be determined based on the eigenface matrix values obtained from each image. Based on the values obtained from Figures 1, 2, and 3, it can be concluded that the eigenface method is able to present facial similarities with a presentation value of 80%.            Keywords: Eigenface; Face Recognation; Images; Images Processing  Abstrak: Dalam perkembangan teknologi saat ini, gambar digital merupakan media yang sering digunakan untuk menyimpan identitas seseorang. Gambar digital saat ini banyak digunakan untuk kebutuhan keamanan data. di sisi lain, gambar juga dapat digunakan sebagai media penyadapan data. Media digital saat ini menyediakan banyak hal dalam memanipulasi dan mengubah informasi yang terdapat pada gambar tersebut. Dalam penelitian ini penulis melakukan penelitian untuk menelaah kemiripan pada citra digital sehingga dapat diketahui apakah informasi tersebut otentik atau tidak. Mendeteksi kemiripan citra dapat membantu mengetahui informasi apakah citra tersebut sama dengan objek aslinya atau tidak. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Eigen Face. Metode eigen wajah merupakan metode yang dapat digunakan untuk mengecek dan mencocokkan kemiripan suatu citra. Dengan nilai eigenface, Gambar 1, Gambar 2, Gambar 3, dapat ditentukan bahwa dengan nilai eigenface lainnya dapat ditentukan berdasarkan nilai matriks eigenface yang diperoleh dari masing-masing citra. Berdasarkan nilai yang diperoleh dari Gambar 1, 2, dan 3, dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode eigenface mampu menghadirkan kemiripan wajah dengan nilai presentasi 80%.. Kata kunci: Citra; Eigenface; Pengolahan Citra Digital; Pengenalan Wajah

It is impossible to understand the media-scape of Japan from the 1920s through 1945 without analyzing the implications of representations of the emperor as well as the effects of state-led- and voluntary self-censorship on their production and reception. The emperor’s portrait photograph (goshin’ei) was too sacred to gaze upon, and citizens and soldiers even died to protect it. It was preserved with extreme care in public institutions and battleships. On the other hand, paradoxically, Hirohito was the first emperor whose public appearances were covered by multiple mass media, ranging from personalized collectible postcards to newsreels, which were readily available for viewers’ scrutiny. These contradictory viewing practices, one prohibited and another accessible, disrupted the visual culture of emperor-centered disciplined and nationalized imperial citizenship. (122 words)

In recent years, many local telecommunication firms are selling their interactive digital media (IDM) services such as broadband and Pay Television in the form of a bundle to their customers. On the other hand, many IDM firms (e.g. Apple iTunes) have chosen to sell their IDM services to customers in an unbundled manner. This chapter studies the effect of bundling and unbundling of any type of information goods which can be digitized. We will discuss the four factors which encourage IDM firms to choose either bundling or unbundling strategy in their marketing of digital goods. The four factors are customer, environmental, firm, and product. This chapter concludes by emphasising that bundling or unbundling might not be necessarily good or bad. The choice boils down to the market segment – the value that customers perceive from the products. It is also important to take into account the overall marketing strategy that the firm is embarking on and to also consider the market situation at the point in time.
