The chapter addresses women's income poverty using men as active participants in empowering women economically. Butiama district was used as a study area, using 120 women and their husbands who were beneficiaries of the programme dealing with loan provision. As an outcome of the study, men had little participation in women's economic activities, hence, women's economic empowerment was at medium level. Unlike men, women's income was used for fulfilling basic needs of the family, therefore, had little impact on their economic empowerment. By conclusion, men as decision makers have high impact on women's economic empowerment. It is recommended that, awareness creation among men would enhance their participation in empowering women. Improvement of women's access to and control over production resources would improve their income. It is recommended that lobbying and advocacy approaches should be applied to enable women's control over the production resources.

The purpose of this chapter is to reveal the interaction between the cynicism levels and reverse mobbing tendencies of employees under the same organizational climate. In line with this purpose, a study was performed via the survey method on 120 people in a public institute in Turkey. The sample size of the study is limited with the public institute included in the study due to cynicism and reverse mobbing levels vary in each organizational climate. The data obtained from the study were analyzed using the confidence, correlation, multiple regression and Kruskal-Wallis H tests. According to the results of these analyses, a medium-level positive significant relationship was determined between the cynicism levels and reverse mobbing tendencies of the employees. The cynicism dimension that increases the reverse mobbing tendency of the employees most was determined to be the behavioral cynicism with the coefficient of 1.922. As a result, cynicism was added to the literature as a new factor affecting the reverse mobbing significantly.

Background: Tooth loss can be caused by trauma, caries, and periodontal disease. It then can trigger an emotional impact on each individual, such as having a lack of confidence, feeling ashamed of the appearance, and trying to hide the missing teeth. As a result, people experiencing tooth loss want to put or replace their missing teeth with artificial ones. Unfortunately, many of them prefer to visit non-professional dentists rather than professional ones providing the same services because of both internal and external factors. Purpose: This research aimed to analyze factors affecting the public interest in Losari District of Brebes Regency in 2016 to install dentures in non-professional dentists. Method: This research focused on a correlation of cost, time, need, access, and competence with denture-making care interest using survey method. Sampling was conducted with purposive sampling technique. The number of samples was thirty-six people. Result: There was a significant correlation between public interest in installing dentures at non-professional dentists and cost factor (a p value of 0.010, <a 0.05). Similarly, there was a significant correlation between public interest in installing dentures at non-professional dentists and time factor (a p value of 0.000, <a 0.05). There were significant correlations between the public interest in installing dentures at non-professional dentists and need (a p value of 0.004, <a 0.05), as well as between public interest in installing dentures at non-professional dentists and access factor (a p value of 0.000 <a 0.05). Nevertheless, there was no correlation between public interest in installing dentures at non-professional dentists and competence factor (a p value of 0.482> a 0.05). Conclusion: It can be concluded that there is a correlation between cost, time, need, and access with the public interest in installing dentures at non-professional dentists. The purpose of the current study is to investigate pre-service science teachers’ sustainable environmental education attitudes and the factors affecting them in terms of some variables (gender and grade level). The study group of the current research is comprised of 154 pre-service teachers attending the Department of Science Education in the Faculty of Education of Aksaray University. The study employed the descriptive survey method, one of the qualitative research methods. As the data collection tool, “The Sustainable Environmental Education Attitude Scale” developed by Afacan and Demirci Güler (2011) was used in the study. The Cronbach alpha reliability of the scale was calculated to be α=.93. In the statistical analysis of the data, SPSS was used. In the analysis of the data, Independent Samples t-Test and One Way ANOVA were run. The analysis results revealed that sustainable environmental education attitudes frequency of the pre-service teachers is at the medium level. It was also found that the sustainable environmental education attitudes of the pre-service teachers do not vary significantly by gender; yet, they were found to be varying significantly depending on the grade level variable. It can be suggested that further research can attempt to determine the attitudes of pre-service teachers from different branches and to analyze different factors affecting sustainable environmental education attitude.

The increasing number of cases of manipulation of financial statements that often occur to date has made the public increasingly question the performance of the auditor profession. This is because, most cases of manipulation can occur due to the negligence of auditors who are unable to detect the fraud. So the opinion published is not correct, and then the information presented in the auditor's report becomes misleading. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research to determine the various factors that can increase the accuracy of auditor's opinion. This research was conducted with the aim of analyzing the relationship between auditor competence, experience, and professional skepticism on accuracy of auditor's opinion. In addition, this research was also conducted to analyze the moderating effect of the gender variable on the respective relationship between auditor competence, experience, and professional skepticism on accuracy of auditor's opinion. This research was conducted using a quantitative approach with a survey method through distributing questionnaires to 142 auditors who work in public accounting firms in Yogyakarta, Solo and Semarang. This research was tested statistically using simultaneous equations assisted by the SmartPLS application. This research result has found that auditor competence, experience and professional skepticism gives positive influence on accuracy of auditor's opinion. This article presents the issues and needs for modern solutions in building urban infrastructure, based on the smart city idea to improve the living standards of residents. Particular attention is paid to one of the most important aspects of life, related to road safety of children as pedestrians and cyclists. Pedestrian sidewalks and bicycle paths with high pedestrian traffic are classified as dangerous areas in many countries. More than 3% of the injuries and fatalities among pedestrian road users that are victims of accidents occur due to crossing the road. Therefore, it is necessary to apply various technical infrastructure solutions to improve the safety of this group of inhabitants. The scientific purpose of this article is the assessment of the safety level of children in pedestrian and bicycle traffic and the analysis of road solutions supporting the maintenance of high-level city safety. The research was based on the analysis of statistical data of accidents and the diagnostic survey method determining the safety of the inhabitants of southern Poland. As a result, an analysis of the level of child safety in urban traffic was developed, as well as key factors affecting the levels of road safety, based on the opinions of respondents. Potential places with the greatest risk of collision with minors have also been identified. There are also proposals for infrastructure solutions aimed at minimising accident risk levels in designated areas.
