<p align="center"><strong>ABSTRACT</strong></p><pre><em>                </em><em>Farmer groups are a forum for farmers to make it easier for farmers to carry out their farming, if the farmer group runs effectively in accordance with the goals of the group. Effective farmer groups cannot be separated from the role of group leaders. The head of the farmer group has an important role in supporting the group to achieve its group goals. Based on the background described, then </em><em>the purpose of this research are to know: the effectiveness of paddy farmer group; the leadership level of farmer group; and the relationship between leadership of farmer group leader with the effectiveness of farmer group in Sukoharjo Sub District of Pringsewu Regency. This research was conducted in Sukoharjo Sub District Pringsewu Regency, with 73 respondents of paddy farmer.  Data was collected by using survey method with descriptive analysis and using statistical non parametric test rank spearman correlation to test hypothesis.  The results showed that</em><em> paddy farmer group in </em><em>Sukoharjo Sub District had a high level of effectiveness, had a medium level of leadership of farmer group leader; and leadership of farmer group had significant relationship with farmer group effectiveness.  </em></pre><p> </p><p>Keyword:<em>  effectiveness, </em><em>farmer group</em><em>, leadership.</em></p><p align="center"><strong> </strong></p><p align="center"><strong>ABSTRACT</strong></p><p>Kelompok tani merupakan wadah bagi petani agar memudahkan petani dalam menajalankan usahataninya, jika kelompok tani berjalan secara efektif sesuai dengan tujuan kelompoknya. Kelompok tani yang efektif tidak terlepas dari peran ketua kelompok. Ketua kelompok tani memiliki peran yang penting dalam mendukung kelompok mencapai tujuan kelompoknya. Berdasarkan latar belakang yang telah diuraikan, maka tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui: keefektifan kelompok tani padi sawah; tingkat kepemimpinan ketua kelompok tani; dan hubungan antara tingkat kepemimpinan ketua kelompok tani dengan keefektifan kelompok tani padi sawah di Kecamatan Sukoharjo Kabupaten Pringsewu.  Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kecamatan Sukoharjo Kabupaten Pringsewu, dengan 73 petani responden. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode survey, dengan anilisis deskriptif dan menggunakan uji statistik korelasi <em>rank spearman </em>non parametrik untuk menguji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kelompok tani padi sawah memiliki tingkat keefektifan yang tinggi, memiliki tingkat kepemimpinan ketua kelompok yang sedang, dan kepemimpinan ketua kelompok tani memiliki hubungan yang nyata dengan keefektifan kelompok tani.</p><p> </p>

Increasing intitutional capacities among ther farmer’s is one of the key to improve farmer’s welfare. This research was conducted with the aim to analyze the relationship between the leadership of the farmer group and the level of empowerment among chili farmer’s in Bawang District, Batang Regency. The study was conducted in  20 December 2018 to 15 January 2019 in Bawang District, Batang Regency. The research method used in this study was the survey method 75 respondent were taken by the complete enumeration method. Data collection was done by using questionnaires, interviews, and direct observations in the field. Data analysis was using descriptive analysis and Rank Spearman correlation test. The results of the study showed that the level of empowerment in management of chili farming system was in medium category. The leadership level of the head of the farmer group in Bawang District were in the category of being able to lead farmer groups. There was a significant relationship between the leadership of the farmer group leader and the level of empowerment of the management of chili farming system in Bawang District, Batang Regency. Keywords: leadership, empowerment, management of chili farming system

The purposes of this research are to analyze farmer’s perception in Upsus Pajale Program, to find out the factors related with farmer’s perception in Upsus Pajale Program, effectiveness of farmer groups on Upsus Pajale Program, and the relationship between the perception and the effectiveness in implementation of Upsus Pajale Program in Banjar Baru.  This research was conducted in Banjar Baru subdistrict, Tulang Bawang district with 67 respondents of rice farmers following the Program. Data were collected using a suvey method with descriptive analysis and use nonparametric statistics test rank Spearman correlation to examine the hypotesis.  The results showed that farmer’s perception in Upsus Pajale Program is included in the profitable calssification, the factors related are education, motivation, social environment and the support of government agencies, while the unrelated factor is knowledge level. The effectiveness of farmer group is in effective category and farmer’s perception is related with farmer group effectiveness.Key words: farmer group effectiveness, farmer’s perceptions, Upsus Pajale Program

<p class="p1">This study aimed to analyze the dynamics of cattle farmer groups assisted by Universitas Gadjah Mada (Faculty of Animal Science) in Yogyakarta Province. The total number of respondents were 77 farmers of cattle farmer groups. The tool used was a questionnaire that has proven validity and reliability. This study was conducted by survey method through the stages of preparation and execution. In the preparation phase carried out the determination of groups and cattle farmer samples using pusposive random sampling. The results showed that the dynamics of cattle farmer groups assisted by Universitas Gadjah Mada in Yogyakarta Province included in the high category. The highest group dynamics was Ngudi Barokah Group in Kulonprogo (equal to 82.48%), followed by the Sido Kumpul Group in Bantul (81.92%), then Bayu Andini Group in Sleman (77.22%), and Lembu Lestari Group in Gunungkidul (73.02%). Constituent elements of the group dynamics of goals, group structure, function assignments, development, cohesiveness, atmosphere and effectiveness of the group had a high level, while the group pressure was ini medium level.</p>

The study aimed to reveal levels of psychological distress and maladaptive perfectionism at the students of secondary stages in Kuwait schools, and to determine the relationship between those two factors under the effect of trait emotional intelligence. The study sample was composed of (255) students from six schools located in different areas in Kuwait city. A self- administered questionnaire was used as the study instrument for collecting data. It was found that both psychological distress and maladaptive perfectionism were found at medium level, whereas trait emotional intelligence was found at the high level, Moreover it was found that trait emotional intelligence as a mediator affects the psychological distress- maladaptive perfectionism relationship.

ABSTRACT BEEF CATTLE FARMER GROUP DYNAMICS LM3 DISTRICT IN THE VILLAGE PINAPALANGKOW SULUUN TARERAN. The role of the community is  very large in livestock development, thereby fostering community institutions farmers through farmer groups need to be improved. State farmer group members can affect group dynamics through indicators dynamics. The formation of farmer group dynamics is expected to improve income and the welfare of each member of the farmer group. This study aimed to analyze the dynamics of the relationship with the farmer group operating revenues cattle farmer groups LM3 Model Anugerah in the village of Pinapalangkow in Sub District of Suluun Tareran. The study used a survey method, with sampling method is total sampling. Person correlation analysis results obtainedrcount of 0.67  of 0.67 which shows there is a relationship between the dynamics and the income of the group members rcount value shows the relationship between the dynamics and the income of the group is a positive relationship, which means that the higher the income the higher the lead group dynamics. The test results showed a statistically significant effect on the dynamics of income groups at the 95% confidence level . Keywords: Dynamics, Farmer Group,Income, Cattle

The implementation of the corn and cattle integration system by farmer groups in Tenayan Raya District involves several integrations such as the division of tasks that is not running optimally, the cattle transportation system that is not implemented in a colony using development activities for the transportation of fuel that can be done properly.The research aims to determine the member's perception of the role and objectives of the farmer group in the application of corn and cow integration system in Tenayan Raya district Pekanbarucity and analyzing the relationship between the role and purpose of the farmer group in the application of corn and cow integration system Tenayan Raya district Pekanbaru city. This research was conducted in Tenayan Raya district Pekanbaru city. The method use in this research is a survey method with a census sampling technique. Data analysis using quantitative descriptive and a scale to measure a person’s perception, and the spearman rank correlation test to measure the relationship between research variables. The results showed that members ' perception of the role of farmer groups in the application of corn and cow integration systems included the category of "good enough". Meanwhile, the members ' perception of Farmer's goals includes "very less good" category. The relationship between farmer role variables as production units with the goal of better business farmer groups is a strong direct correlation, while the correlation that occurs between farmer group role variables as learning class and rides Cooperation with the purpose of better farming and better living farming group has a weak correlation.

The cocoa certification program is the implementation of cocoa management practices that meet sustainable agricultural standards. This program is part of the commitment of cocoa sector stakeholders to realize sustainable cocoa. West Sulawesi Province is one of cocoa production centers in Indonesia. The implementation of cocoa certification in this province is still low, about 8.4% of the total cocoa farmers. This study aims to determine the potential for sustainability of the adoption of Cocoa Certification from development communication aspect by conducting an assessment on dialogue and collective action of farmer groups. The research conducted in Luyo Sub-District Polewali Mandar District West Sulawesi Province using survey method with descriptive correlation analysis. The sample size is 41 groups with 205 respondents. Descriptive analysis shows the average index of the implementation of community dialogue and collective action of 56.05,50,88 and 65.72 from a maximum score of 100. The results indicated that perception of farmers on the observability of Cocoa Certification and the role of facilitators are significant related to dialogue and collective action of farmer groups. The dialogue in the group is significant correlated with their collective action. So, some farmer groups have potential to continue to adopt the Cocoa Certification standard but others have potential to quit.
