Arabic syntax (nahwu) is an Arabic science that we learn to understand the science of religion (Islamic studies) and it is also related to the Holy Qur’an. The manifestations of renewal seemed to Mahdi Al-Makhzoumi and Tammam Hassan in calling to revive the integrated arabic syntax which levels are linked, and the learners specialize for one purpose, which is the Arabic lesson. The new Arabic syntax (nahwu) of Mahdi Al-Makhzoumi and Tammam Hassan in their opinions on Arabic syntax (nahwu) related to Islamic studies because arabic syntax has come out of the Holy Qur’an. Renewal arabic syntax (nahwu) has a benefit to make simple and to facilitate the teaching of the Arabic language and Islamic studies because it is a necessity of time as we knew that we are now in modern era. The important argument of ours to know about simplifying Arabic syntax that is renewal Arabic syntax, there is a solution to the difficulty of understanding Arabic syntax (nahwu), and perhaps this is the revival of Arabic syntax (nahwu). Mahdi Al-Makhzoumi was influenced by Khalil ideas (Khalil bin Ahmad Al-Farahidi), and the Arabic syntax thoughts of Kufa (the school of Kufa). Tammam Hassan was influenced by thoughts of Abdul Qahir al-Jurjani and western linguistic which outputs theory of Tadhafur al-Qara’in. The approaches of Makhzoumi and Hassan in simplifying Arabic syntax (nahwu) divided into two parts: theoretical and practical, but the practical approach in simplifying grammar, for example, cancellation of qiyas and rejection of ‘ilal (ta’lil), then re-tabulation of Arabic syntax topics etc.

Arabic learning is positively associated with the growth of Islamic studies. The better comprehension and mastery of Arabic, the faster and the greater the standard of Islamic studies would be. It can also be considered an effort to avoid any misconceptions or misinterpretations in understanding Islam's primary sources (Quran and Hadits) written in Arabic. Therefore, there is a need for more in-depth and continuous study to develop effective Arabic language learning, especially in a modern context. This paper aims to examine some of the previous discussions and research on reforming Arabic language learning to develop Islamic studies in a modern context.  Arabic learners today are different from learners in the past who focus more on routine activities by relying on written sources. In this modern era, learners have complete access and freedom to determine the direction of learning they want and need for themselves. Moreover, the main priority in improving Arabic learning quality is by optimizing modern media and technology. Therefore, Arabic language experts need to partner and synergize with competent human resources to develop modern Arabic education and learning technology to produce a better education system in Arabic Learning and support Islamic Studies' development.

Abstract Specialists in Islamic studies have taken virtually no interest in the influential and rapidly developing field of Cognitive Science of Religion (CSR). The present article seeks to address this problem by considering how insights from CSR can be systematically applied to reconceptualize Islamic theology, law, education, and mysticism. The article centers on what is probably CSR’s most influential and well-established idea; namely, that religion is closely linked to an evolved “mindreading” ability (i.e., a “Theory of Mind Module”). It is argued that Islamic theology employs mindreading focused on events and objects in the universe, Islamic law and education employ mindreading focused on scriptural texts and embodied practices, and Islamic mysticism employs mindreading focused on psychological experiences. The article develops these ideas through an analysis of the Arabic-language writings of Abū Ḥāmid al-Ghazālī, the famous medieval Islamic theologian, jurist, and mystic.

Abstract The existence of Nahwu's knowledge among other disciplines-Kalam Science, Fiqh, Tasawuf, Tafsir, and Hadith-is one of the traditional knowledge of Arabic (al-'um an- naqliyyah) which still has a significant contribution in Islamic studies. Ibn Khaldun in his al-Muqaddimah viewed the nahwu knowledge as an integral part that can not be separated in the progress of traditional sciences (al-'umul an-naqliyyah), because of the success and truth of the study of the origin of the sciences (al-'ulum an- naqliyyah). The Middle East with a wealth of knowledge and knowledge, especially in linguistics, has produced many thinkers and linguists, especially in the development of Arabic language science. The terms in the philosophy of Islamic education need more attention because of the variety of content and methods that sometimes appear paradoxes in their studies. This could be the result of the theoritization of Islamic education which was still dominated by classical Islamic thinkers in the pre-modern era. Moreover, the term philosophy is still not recognized as a part of comprehensive Islamic studies. Through historical research, this article intends to explore further the basic terms of Islamic education which are infused from Arabic. Rather than other terms, ta'dib has a historical syncornization and scope that corresponds to the fact that education is a human right in a scope that includes the basics in the Quran and Hadith.

Church historians have generally tended to ignore American Universalism. This was not because Universalists were unmindful of their past. Several works were produced in the nineteenth century trying to prove through Scripture and history the fact that the idea of universal salvation was always a part of the mesage of Christianity from the days of the apostles through the Reformation down to the modern era. It was an important argument in their voluminous debates and an essential ingredient of their theology. They were rather proud of this heritage. It cannot be said, therefore, that Universalism failed to produce its own historians. The problem for scholars of all disciplines has been that until recently there were no reliable sources available which dealt with American Universalism. Yet Universalism needs to be understood, for it helped to humanize the church through its teachings that God was a God of love and that he cared to save each and everyone of his children.

The story is an art of prose literature. Arab writers and others have done valuable works of fiction, showing the extent of their artistic ability; however, this art has witnessed in the modern era developed and developed to add to it another form known - in Western literature - poetry story; which has no era - before - in literature Old Arab, and the poems appeared stories woven on the Western vein. After looking at the story in Arabic literature, this article looks at some of the echoes of the Arab story in Arabic literature, with an emphasis on what the thinkers of the city of Eulen produced as a living model reflecting the many stories that were presented at the Arab literature table in Nigeria. For a commendable effort by the writers of Nigeria to expand the Arabic language and create a clear atmosphere for artistic creativity and conscience.

This study was motivated by the problem of mastering Arabic in the Faculty of Islamic studies (FAI), Islamic university of Riau (UIR). This problem focused on the students’ quality and learning interest of FAI UIR on language mastery, both Arabic and English. This foreign language or second language mastery program such as Arabic or English is made in the form of language classes. Language classes are initially unattended by a special institution such as a language center now under the supervision of the FAI UIR language center, the forerunner of the UIR language center called CELAD (Center for Languages ​​and Academic Development). Formulation The problem of this research is how the implementation of Arabic learning and the influence of the Arabic language class on the mastery of student learning in the Faculty of Islamic Studies UIR. The purpose of this study was to find out the implementation of Arabic learning and the influence of the Arabic language class on the mastery of student learning in the Faculty of Islamic studies. The type of this research is descriptive as well as qualitiative and quantitative research. The literature review used is language learning, the influence of the Arabic language class, and vocabulary mastery (al-mufradat). Then based on the results of the study using quantitative descriptive analysis, it found that the implementation of Arabic learning and the influence of the Arabic class on students’ vocabulary mastery of FAI UIR can be said to be "good".

Historically, the language contact contributed by Muslim preachers among the Arab traders of diverse origins that some of them opted to migrate and intermarry with the local Malays, thus, intermingled with the locals that had influenced the Malay/Malaysian language to borrow more Arabic words. Some semantic properties of the loanwords are adopted, but some are adapted. This study concerns with the divergent meaning of some adapted ones. 18 Malay-Arabic homophonous loanwords were purposely sampled – (the limited sample is due to the journal words limit). It is observed that despite of their similar utterance and spelling/transliteration but they have partially or fully dissimilar meanings when being compared between the two languages. Generally, it may confuse users of both languages, specifically the Arabian students who are compulsory to pass the Malay language in order to pass their study in Malaysia as well as Malay students who are studying in Arabian countries. Moreover, it may affect their meaning in the Malay translation for the Holy Qur’an/Prophetic Tradition (Hadith). So, it is essential to engage academics of the Islamic studies, and the Malay-Arabic linguists alike with the crucial issue stemmed from the bilingual mastery level that involved both languages departing from the rising movement of re-examining and re-envision criticality in language studies. Henceforth, the Malaysian Muslim society could dynamically develop further ahead after more than 10 centuries exposed to the Arabic language rather than being stagnant in minimalism evermore.
