This study aimed at distinguishing fiscal policy during the time of the Prophet and the fiscal policy prevailing in Indonesia. The study method in this research is literature study. The type of data used is secondary data with data collection methods through literature study. The results showed that during the time of the Prophet, the first fiscal policy that was taken after moving to Medina was to make muhajirin and ansar fraternal and provide employment for the Muhajirin. In the second year, almsgiving and fitrah are compulsory, followed by zakat in the ninth year of hijriyah. From here emerged fiscal policy instruments derived from zakat, infaq, alms and waqf. Some of these elements are mandatory and some are voluntary. Zakat is an element that must be paid after reaching the nisab, while infaq, alms and waqf are voluntary. This voluntary element is what distinguishes an Islamic economy from a capitalist economy. Another difference between the two is related to the management of state money where part of the APBN sources obtained from debt must be free from the element of interest, thus, the state debt can actually be obtained in ways that are in accordance with Islamic Sharia

Domestic violence against women is an important health issue, but few studies have focused on city of residence and ethnic differences. To estimate the prevalence of various forms of domestic violence and certain related factors, with a specific focus on city of residence and ethnicity, we studied 1820 married women attending public health centers in 4 large cities in Khuzestan Province, southwestern Islamic Republic of Iran. We used an interviewer-administered questionnaire for data collection. The prevalence of some forms of lifetime domestic violence against women was 47.3%. The prevalence of physical, psychological, and any form of lifetime violence was the highest in Dezful (25.7%, 54.8%, and 57.7%, resp.). For sexual violence, the highest prevalence was reported in Ahvaz (17.7%). The highest prevalence of physical and sexual violence during any point of life was reported by Arab women (25.1% and 16.7%). The experience of all forms of violence was significantly associated with city of residence. Results of regression logistic analysis revealed that all of the forms of violence except psychological violence were statistically significantly associated with ethnicity (P<0.05).

The scourge of domestic violence as well as other forms of violence against women has eaten deep into the fabric of our society creating a lopsided gender balance with the female gender being the greatest victim. Violence has taken different forms ranging from sexual to physical and psychological as well as other forms. This degrades the humanity of the woman in our society. Abusive partners and perpetrators base their actions on superior nature of the male sex, religion, law, custom, economic situation, family pressure, and their behavioural pattern. It is believed that lack of a legal framework universally enforced as well as lack of trained law enforcement officers promotes the violence of women in Nigeria. A proactive legal framework, establishment of confidential and well equipped family courts, training of law enforcement officers, shelters and counselling centres can reduce the abuse of women in Nigeria and across the globe. The physical, sociological and psychological effect of violence against women is unquantifiable. To achieve a fair and balanced society, women must be valued, respected and supported and not battered either by stick or word of mouth.

This study aims to determine the application of sharia principles in sharia economic dispute resolution in the National Sharia Arbitration Agency (Basyarnas). This study uses a method of socio legal study, how sharia principles are applied in resolving sharia economic disputes so that they can provide justice for both parties. Secondary data collection is carried out through a literature study of primary legal materials and secondary legal material. Some data was requested for confirmation from the National Sharia Arbitration Agency (Basyarnas) in the Yogyakarta region. To obtain answers to the research problems, 3 activities were carried out simultaneously, namely data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing / syllogistic verification of deduction. The results of the research and discussion obtained several conclusions, namely first, Islamic principles have not been maximally implemented by Basyarnas, this can be seen from the basis of the consideration of Basyarnas law in its decision. Basyarnas should also correct in terms of the contract, whether it is in accordance with sharia principles or not so that the arising of the dispute is not solely due to the default of the customer but can also be caused by incompatibility with sharia principles. Second, according to Antony Allot's theory of legal effectiveness, the application of sharia principles in sharia economic dispute resolution has not been carried out in accordance with sharia principles, this is due to the lack of clarity in the case in Basyarnas' decision.
