This study is motivated by the student low readiness and learning mastery in Chemistry class. It is aimed at investigating the student readiness in oxidation-reduction (redox) reaction class. This study used a descriptive case study. As many as 27 students of MAN II Filial Pontianak of Academic Year 2017/2018, selected by purposive sampling technique, participated in this study. The data collection tools were observation, questionnaire, and interview. The average result of this study indicated that student readiness in learning was good (61,97%), especially in physical category by 100% (outstanding), in mental category by 33,33% (fair), in emotional category by 95,06% (outstanding), in necessity category by 62,96 (good ), and in mastery category by 18,52% (poor). Additionally, the result of the questionnaire showed that readiness in learning was 75,86% (very good), particularly in physical category by 81,48% (Excellent), in mental category by 71,60% (very good), in emotional category by 71,24% (very good), in necessity category by 71,29 (very good ), and in mastery category by 77,16% (very good). Therefore, teachers are expected to educate the students about the importance of reading in learning. Also, school is encouraged to enhance the quality of the facilities in learning

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of whether or not the quality of service, store atmosphere and promotion of consumer satisfaction at Pondok Jowi Restaurant Solo. The population in this study were consumers of Pondok Jowi Solo Restaurant in January 2020 at May 2020 with a total of 14,030 people. The sampling techniquemismpurposive samplingm which is a sampling technique with certain considerations by taking 100 respondents. Data collection uses a Likert scale questionnaire to measure respondents' answers to identify the relationship between service quality, store atmosphere and promotion of customer satisfaction. The results show that service quality, store atmosphere and promotion have a simultaneous and significant effect on customer satisfaction, servicei quality has assignificant effect on customer satisfaction, store atmosphere has a significant effect on customer satisfaction, and promotion has significant effect on customer satisfaction. This article uses a descriptive case study design to examine the potential of narrative therapy as a direct intervention for adults with moderate-to-severe intellectual disabilities, autism and/or severe communication limitations. Archival clinical data on four individuals who received a form of social constructionist narrative therapy are examined for goal attainment. The data were analysed qualitatively with specific input from individuals, their families and carers. Findings indicate improvements in quality of life through reductions in situational and environmental anxieties, and in coping with grief and loss. The results suggest that narrative therapy techniques can be beneficial in assisting individuals with severe intellectual disability to achieve meaningful and persistent improvements in their life.

Amil zaka in zaka institutions has the right as one of eight ashnaf. Their rights are usually used by zaka institutions as operational cost. However, not all of the intitutions which manage zaka take amil’s right, one of them is Yayasan Nurul Hayat. This institution does not take amil’s right and it is independent in its operational cost. To support this operational cost, Yayasan Nurul Hayat establish business unit with utilize its profit.This study aimed to discover the capability of business unit in supporting operational cost of Yayasan Nurul Hayat. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive case study method. The selections of informant are using purposive sampling method. Data collection was conducted by semi-structured interviews and documentation. This data is analyzed using descriptive method.The result of this study shows that Yayasan Nurul Hayat Employments’ Salary is taken from business unit’s profit. It is also used to give bonus for employments and grow the business unit of Yayasan Nurul Hayat up. From the result of this study, it can be concluded that the business unit which is developed has great capability to support operational cost of Yayasan Nurul Hayat.

This study examines the role of human resource management in improving the quality of educators. This research uses a qualitative approach with case study. This research site is in MTs Nu Ma'arif Kemiri, Purworejo Regency. The data collection technique used by researchers is interview observation. In this study, the object of research is the Role of Human Resources to Achieve Workforce Quality in MTs Nu Ma'arif Kemiri. Research data collection using descriptive observation, interview or qualitative methods. This interview observation study was conducted by lecturers and students of Islamic Education Management Study Program with student WK in MTs Nu Ma'arifKemiri. This activity aims to observe the Quality of Human Resources Workers conducted by MTs Nu Ma'arif Kemiri.

Financing using a sale and purchase contract is one of the most dominant financing in Islamic financial institutions. One of the Islamic microfinance institutions namely baitul maal wat tamil has two types of sale and purchase agreements on its financing products, namely the contract of sale and purchase of murabahah and bai bithaman ajil. This study discusses the concept of financing based on the sale and purchase contract, namely murabahah and bai bithaman ajil on baitul maal wat tamwil (BMT) Pahlawan Tulungagung. The things that need to be reviewed in the practice of the ajabahah and bai bithaman contract are adjusted to the points in the DSN-MUI Fatwa on murabahah financing. This study uses qualitative methods with descriptive case study strategies. Data collection through interviews with four respondents consisting of financing managers, managers and two members of the financing of buying and selling financing and documentation. Interpretation and conclusions are made by linking between data obtained in interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that the concept of financing murabahah and bai bithaman ajil in BMT Pahlawan is not fully in accordance with the DSN-MUI Fatwa regarding the purchase of goods. However, this is still tolerated because of the limitations of BMT to purchase goods which then applies the Al-hajatu tunazzilu rule, manzilata al-dharurah, which is a requirement or need to occupy an emergency position so that the purchasing system is allowed.Keywords: Financing, Murabaha, Bai bithaman ajil, DSN-MUI, BMT Pahlawans

Muzara’ah is the contract between farm workers and farm owners in which, cost of cultivations, seeds, and fertilizers are provided by the farm owners, meanwhile the farm workers have responsibility in giving their best efforts on cultivating the farmland. Later then, the harvest will be shared according to the contract that has been agreed. The purpose of this research is to describe farmer’s welfare in the village of Sodo after implementing Muzara’ah Contract with the Maqashid Sharia approach. This research approach is qualitative descriptive and uses case study as its strategy. Informants in this research are administrator from Krido Tani Farmers Association, The farm workers, and the farm owners. These informants determined by using purposive sampling technique. The data collection techniques are carried out through interview and direct observation. According to the research, it was shown that agricultural cooperation with Muzara’ah Contract has a role in improving farm workers’ welfare, viewed from the indicators of Maqasid Sharia.Keywords : Muzara’ah, Welfare, Farmer, Agricultural Cooperation

Migrants’ youth are seen as one of the vulnerable populations in South Africa. This is largely due to the fact that they are seen as people who come to take job opportunities of the youth in the host country. In order to cope with their fear and stress, migrants indulge in binge consumption of alcohol. It is in light of that that in this paper researchers aimed to accentuate alcohol abuse as a militating factor against the quality of life for migrants’ youth population in selected provinces of South Africa. The study adopted qualitative approach and case study design to highlight how alcohol is seen as a militating factor against quality of life. The study population was drawn from three provinces in South Africa using convenient sampling technique to sample three participants. Moreover, the data was collected telephonically in three selected provinces and analysed thematically. The findings indicate that due to the accessibility, availability, affordability and stress migrants’ youth indulge in binge consumption. Thus, researchers recommend that policymakers should make guidelines that will restrict mushrooming of alcohol outlets – be regulation to prohibit overcrowding of outlets in selected provinces of South Africa.

Thisdstudy originated from the resultsiofiprevious studies where there were problems regarding the process of managing the procurement of perishable goods that did not have written procedures, the quality requirements of the material written and standardized in the hotel. To continue the problem where there are still problems related to food quality at breakfast at The Aliga Hotel Padang. This study aims to analyze food quality at breakfast at The Aliga Hotel Padang. This type of studyiisiquantitativepdescriptive. The population in this study were guests who stayed and breakfast at The Aliga Hotel Padang. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The totaliofisamplesiin this study amounted to 91 people. Data collection techniques were carried out by distributing questionnaires (questionnaires) using the Liker scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. Thenitheidata wereianalysisithrough data tabulation and descriptive data using percentages. Based on the research that has been done, the results obtained that the quality of food at breakfast at The Aliga Hotel Padang is in the category of enough with a percentage of 45.05%. The leadership of the kiai becomes very important in Islamic boarding school because the development of the quality of pesantren education depends on the competence of the leader, the meaning of the leader here is the kiai or caretaker of the boarding school. This study aims to describe the first role of leadership in improving the quality of education, secondly the leadership of kiai that is effective in improving the quality of education in Islamic boarding schools.This research uses a qualitative method, with a case study in Bahrul Maghfiroh Islamic Boarding School in Malang. Data collection was carried out using interview, observation, and documentation and observation techniques. Data analysis uses descriptive qualitative methods and inductive thinking patterns. The purpose is to analyze the data obtained from field objects, and then to be related to relevant theories.The results showed: 1) The role of the kiai in improving quality in the Bahrul Maghfiroh Islamic boarding school in Malang is as a manager, educator, human resource empowerment, decision maker, attainee of the pesantren, motivator and supervisor. 2) Effective kiai leadership is leadership that builds cooperation with kiai or other institutions, regenerates kiai and builds good relations with the community.
