The learning independence of students is still low as the background of the implementation of this research. The purpose of this research is to describe the independence of students using Lesson study and Problem Based Learning models in mathematics learning. This type of research is descriptive research. The population is all students of class VIII of Junior High School Pertiwi 2 Padang in 2019/2020. Sampling was done by purposive sampling and determined class VIII-2. The research instruments were the learning independence questionnaire and the Lesson Study observation sheet. Analysis of learning independence data is described based on the results of the pretest and protest scores. The Lesson Study was carried out in 4 rounds using the Problem Based Learning model which included Plan, do, and See activities. The results showed that there was an increase in students' learning independence through the implementation of Lesson study with the Problem Based Learning model.

Education is a significant factor to shape human beings as a whole. The ability to think for humans plays an important role to develop information. The issue of lack of ability to think critically in Sahida Lemah Abang Vocational High School needed to be addressed. One learning model that can be utilized to guide students to think critically is Problem Based Learning (PBL) using an e-module as the resource of learning material. The study aims to examine the implementation of Problem Based Learning model using e-module and its influence on students' critical thinking ability.  This study used a quasi-experiment with nonequivalent control group design as its research design. In using the research design, two observations have been conducted; one was before the experiment called Pre-Test (O1) and one after the experiment of this study called the post-test (O2). There are two samples in this study; one is the experimental group and the other is the control group. The study was done in Sahida Lemah Abang Vocational High School. The data was gathered by using tests and observation sheets of the learning process. The result in this study shows averagely that the implementation in each of the learning stages has gained 95.7% which is in the category of very good value. The most significant difference is from the fifth indicator "developing strategy and tactic", n gain of experimental class and control class is 5.83 and 0.23 respectively. As the result of the hypothesis test is Sig. 0.035 which means that there is a significant difference in students' ability to think critically between the students in the experimental class and the control class, the students in the experimental class think more critically than the students in the control class.

This study aimed to create an e-book on mathematics learning for vocational high school students in grade XI, complete with liner program material, using the ADDIE model development methodology (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Based on the findings of the development of e-books on linear programming material for grade XI students at vocational high school in Langsa Aceh majoring in Online Business and Marketing, it can be concluded that the media is valid for use in learning mathematics with linear programming materials, then effective in improving mathematical literacy and entrepreneurial spirit. Finally, practical media is used in mathematics learning, among other conclusions.

This study is intended to produce a problem-based mathematics learning model for SMK (Vocational High School). The development used the Plomp development model. The procedures are: (1) preliminary study; (2) the stage of developing or making a prototype; and (3) assessment phase. The feasibility of a problem-based mathematics learning model for SMK  that is developed refers to the product quality criteria that are valid, practical, and effective. The development of problem-based mathematics learning models for Vocational Schools involved two experts and three practitioners. The objects in this study were students of first year  vocational high schools in South Tangerang City and three mathematics teachers. Sampling techniques used in this study are  purposive sampling, stratified random sampling, and proportional random sampling. The instruments used consist  of: instruments for evaluating validity which included validation sheets, instruments for assessing practicality which included practicality assessment sheets from teachers and students, and observations sheets for the implementation of learning, as well as effectiveness assessment sheets namely learning achievement tests. The results showed that the learning model developed includes syntax, social systems, reaction principles, support systems, and learning impacts that meet valid, practical, and effective criteria

The main problem in formal learning is that teachers carry out learning with direct learning models and lectures. The right learning model can maximize student learning outcomes and learning objectives will be achieved. This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on the learning outcomes of vocational high school students. This research was conducted through a literature review and relevant research results and was continued through a Focus Group Discussion (FGD). From the research it was found that there was a significant positive influence between the problem-based learning (PBL) model variable and student learning outcomes, which meant that student learning outcomes could be improved through the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model.

Kata Kunci: Perangkat pembelajaran, problem-based learning, prestasi belajar, pemecahan masalah, percaya diri Developing Mathematics Learning Kits Using the Problem-Based Learning Model for Grade VIII of JHS in the Even Semester AbstractThis study aimed to produce mathematics learning kits using the problem based learning model oriented to the learning achievement, problem solving skill, and self-confidence for Grade VIII students of the junior high school (JHS) in the even semester. This study was and development study used the development model by Plomp (preliminary study, development, evaluation). The research subjects were teachers and students of Grade VIII of Swasta Katolik Maria Goretti Ende. The analysis of the data was done by converting the quantitative data in the form scores as the results of the evaluation into qualitative data in the form of five-scale standard scores. This study produce mathematics learning kits in the form of lesson plans and student worksheets for Grade VIII students of the junior high school in the even semester. Of the results of expert validation, a teacher evaluation scores, a students evaluation scores, an observation for the implementation of learning activities, a learning achievement test, a problem solving skil test, and a self-confidence questionnaire show that lesson plans (RPP)  and student worksheets (LKS) is valid, practical, and effective. Keywords: learning kits, problem-based learning, learning achievement, problem solving, self-confidence

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the effect between the Problem Based Learning model using Peer assessment and the problem-based learning model on student competencies. The study used a quantitative experimental approach conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Sragen in class XI AK 4 as a control class and XI AK 5 as an experimental class. The population involved all XI Accounting class students totaling 160 students, while the sample consisted of 64 students who were divided into the experimental class and the control class. The results showed that the first hypothesis obtained fcount data> ftable or 5.214> 2.760 and sig values. 0.026 <0.05 then H0A is rejected and H1A is accepted. Learning using the Problem Based Learning model with Peer Assessment has an average value of 83.78 higher than the average value of the Problem Based Learning model that is equal to 81.53. The conclusion from this study is that there are differences in the effect between the control class and the experimental class on student competence. The experimental class using the Problem Based Learning Model using Peer Assessment is more effective than the control class using the Problem Based Learning model.
