One of the causes of the energy crisis is that the number of people is positively correlated with increased consumption of energy, especially fuel and electricity. The need for energy sources, especially for household purposes such as cooking, can be fulfilled by using LPG gas and firewood, as is well known, the LPG and firewood have been used by households in Indonesia since a long time. The variables that affect the use of LPG and firewood by households are "per capita GRDP", poor population, total area, number of islands, forests, and waters. By using multiple linear regression analysis, the prediction of the effect of these variables on the use of LPG and firewood can be obtained. Accuracy results obtained are 64% for both types of fuel. Meanwhile, the completeness of the data and the addition of other variables can improve the results of prediction accuracy.

This study aims to analyze the effect of executive characteristics and family ownership as a stimulus factor for tax avoidance and to see the existence of a political relationship as a moderating variable in the effect of executive characteristics and family ownership on tax avoidance. This research was conducted on manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2017-2019. In this study, the sample was determined based on the purposive sampling technique with the criteria that the sample company was manufacture listed on the IDX for three consecutive years from 2017-2019, published an annual report in the 2017-2019 period sequentially, did not experience delisting, was not a company the IPO in 2018-2019, did not experience any losses and did not have an ETR value of more than 1. The research sample was obtained from as many as 138 companies with 3 years of observation. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis (Multiple Regression Analysis) and Moderate Regression Analysis (MRA) using the Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) program. The results showed (I) executive characteristics had a significant positive effect on tax avoidance (II) family ownership had a significant negative effect on tax avoidance (III) political connections were not able to strengthen the executive's positive influence on tax avoidance (IV) political connections weakened family ownership on tax avoidance. This study can also show that the sample companies tend to comply with tax rules, they avoid sanctions and fines, and consider the risk of loss that must be faced by the company when proven to do tax avoidance.

Based on multiple linear regression analysis of the HDI have a positive relationship towards the poor population where if the HDI rose 1 percent then the number of poor population will rise of0.358. Based on multiple linear regression analysis of the GDP had a negative relationship toward the poor population, which if GDP rises 1 percent then the number ofpoor population will be down by-0.006. Multiple linear regression analysis based onthe number of unemployment has positive relationship towards the poor population where if the number of unemployed rose 1 percent then the number of poor population will rose by 0.010.Keyword: influence of IPM, PDRB and the number of unemployed

This research was conducted in Batu Bara Regency and Medan City in the 2004-2018 period. The research data were obtained by accessing the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) website. The method of data analysis uses multiple linear regression analysis. The analysis shows that unemployment is negative and significant towards poverty. Meanwhile, per capita GRDP, income distribution inequality, and HDI have a negative and not significant effect on poverty. This study also found interesting findings, that the equality that occurred in Batu Bara Regency and Medan City was equalization in poverty not equality in welfare. The Farmer's attitude analyzed with descriptive analysis and the influence factors offarmers' attitude used multiple linear regression analysis. Farmer's attitude analyzed with descriptiveanalysis and the influence factors of farmer's attitude used multiple linear regression analysis. Theresult show that the farmer's attitudes in terms of cognitive, affective, and conative components towardthe objectives program were high, farmer's attitudes towards, the target, implementation, and benefits ofthe program were very highly classified. Farm size, personal experience, and the influence of the important people were a significant effect on the farmer's attitudes in food security empowermentprograms. The need to maximize the function of farmer’s groups, consistency of extension workers, agencies and heads of Gapoktan assist and guide farmers so that the sustainability of activities ismaintained

The aim of this study was to determine the effect of employee workload and stress on the production process at PT X palm oil mill with a capacity of 600 tons/day. The process in this palm oil mill are broadly divided into 6 parts through several processing stations namely reception, treshing, stirring and pressing, clarification and nut and kernel stations. Work activities carried out with a standing attitude for a long time, monotonous, exposed to noise from production machines and the number of extra hours will have an impact on workload and work stress felt by employees. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis with 32 respondents. The results showed that workload and work stress simultaneously had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Partially the workload has a positive and significant effect, while work stress does not significantly influence the performance of employee.
