This study aimed to detemine whether Student Facilitator And Explaining cooperative learning model affected students mathematical communication skills. The research design used was Posttest Only Control Design. The population in this study was entire seventh grade students in SMP Negeri 2 Somagede. Sampling was determined using Cluster Random Sampling technique. Two classes of sample were obtained. Class VII B, consistend of 23 students, selected as the experimental class which employed cooperative tipe Student Facilitator And Explaining learning model and class VII D, consisted of 23 students, was as the control class which used direct learning. Research results indicated that mathematical communication skills of students who attended Student Facilitator And Explaining learning was better than that of students who attended direct learning. So it can be interpreted that Student Facilitator And Explaining learning cooperative model affected students mathematical communication skills

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the discovery learning model integrated learning start with a question of mathematical communication skills. This research is a quantitative research with a type of quasi experiment. The sampling technique in this study is the random sampling technique. Data collected through interview observation and test. The data analysis technique used is the uncorrelated t test. Based on the results of research and data processing, it was found that there was an influence of discovery learning integrated learning model start with a question and discovery learning learning model on mathematical communication skills. Furthermore, mathematical communication of students by using the discovery learning model integrated learning start with a question is better than mathematical communication of students using discovery learning learning models.

This study aims to determine whether the Round Table cooperative learning model influences the mathematical communication skills of students of SMAN 101 Jakarta. This research was conducted in the even semester of the 2018/2019 academic year on the subject of Lines and Series. The research method used was quasi-experimental. The target population of this study were all students of SMAN 101 Jakarta and the affordable population in this study were students of XI MIPA. The sampling technique uses cluster random sampling technique. The research instrument used was a test of mathematical communication skills as many as four description questions. the instrument has gone through content validation tests, construct validation and empirical validation. After the instrument is valid, reliability is tested where the correlation coefficient obtained is 0.5602. After testing the normality, homogeneity and similarity of averages and cluster random sampling. XI MIPA 2 was chosen as the control class and XI MIPA 4 as the experimental class. Based on the calculation of the research data of the two classes, each of them is normally distributed and has the same or homogeneous variance. Therefore, hypothesis testing is done by using t-test statistics with a significant level α = 0.05. Based on the results of the test, the value of tcount = 2.43499 and t table = 1.6682 is obtained, so that it gets tcount> ttable. So reject H0. This shows that there is the influence of Round Table cooperative learning model on mathematical communication skills of students of SMAN 101 Jakarta.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw lebih baik daripada pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional di Kelas IX MTs Negeri 1 Kota Palu. Hipotesis penelitian ini adalah pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw lebih baik daripada pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu. Desain penelitian ini adalah pre-post test control design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IX MTs Negeri 1 Kota Palu dengan teknik pengambilan sampel cluster random sampling. Nilai rata-rata siswa kelas eksperimen 47 dan standar deviasi 17,04 sedangkan nilai rata-rata siswa kelas kontrol 40 dan standar deviasi 13,40. Data yang diperoleh berdistribusi normal dan homogen, maka pengujian hipotesis menggunakan teknis statistik parametris yaitu uji t. Hasil pengujian hipotesis diperoleh bahwa nilai ????tabel = 1,67 dan ????hitung = 2,96 sehingga H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw lebih baik daripada pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional di kelas IX MTsN 1 Kota Palu. Kata Kunci:   Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Jigsaw, Model Pembelajaran Konvensional,  dan Pemahaman Konsep   Abstract: This research purposed to determine is mathematics concept understanding students who learn by using jigsaw cooperative learning model better than students who learn by using conventional learning model in class IX MTs Negeri 1 Kota Palu. The hypothesis is that mathematics concept understanding students who learn by using jigsaw cooperative learning model better than students who learn by using conventional learning model. The type of research is a quasi experiment. Design of research is pre-post control design. The population of this research is all students of class IX  MTs Negeri 1 Kota Palu with samples taken by cluster random sampling technique. The average score of the experiment class students is 47 and standard deviation is 17.04 and the average score of the control class students is 40 and standard deviation is 13.40. The data is normal distribution and homogen, hypothesis test using t test. Results of hypothesis test obtained value ????table = 1.67 and ????count = 2.96 it means H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. This indicated that mathematics concept understanding students who learn by using jigsaw cooperative learning model have better than mathematics concept understanding students who learn by using conventional learning model in class IX MTsN 1 Kota Palu. This study was aims to determine the differences in students mathematical understanding abilities with using snowball throwing learning model compared to direct learning model, and to determine the effect of snowball throwing learning model on improving students' mathematical understanding abilities. The benefit of this study is to provide information about how big the effect of snowball throwing learning model on students' mathematical comprehension abilities. This study used a quasi-experimental method. The Population used in this study was class VIII students of MTs-Al-Musthofa with a total sample 60 people taken by random sampling technique. The instrument that used in this reseacrh is test intrument mathematical comprehension ability consisting of 5 items essays. The results of the study showed that: 1) the ability of students' mathematical understanding using the snowball throwing learning model was better than the direct learning model. 2) There was an increase in the students' mathematical understanding ability using the snowball throwing learning model.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) manakah kemampuan komunikasi matematis yang lebih baik antara siswa yang memperoleh model pembelajaran SAVI berbantuan LKS, model pembelajaran REACT berbantuan LKS, atau model pembelajaran konvensional, (2) apakah kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang memperoleh model pembelajaran SAVI berbantuan LKS dan model pembelajaran REACT berbantuan LKS mencapai ketuntasan klasikal dan individual, dan (3) apakah terdapat pengaruh keaktifan belajar siswa pada model pembelajaran SAVI berbantuan LKS dan model pembelajaran REACT berbantuan LKS terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain posttest only control design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP Negeri 1 Subah kelas VIII tahun pelajaran 2018/2019. Sampel yang diambil dengan menggunakan cluster random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes dan observasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis variansi satu jalan sel tak sama. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa: (1) model pembelajaran SAVI berbantuan LKS dan model pembelajaran REACT berbantuan LKS menghasilkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis yang sama, dan kedua model pembelajaran tersebut menghasilkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang lebih baik daripada model pembelajaran konvensional, (2) kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang memperoleh model pembelajaran SAVI berbantuan LKS dan model pembelajaran REACT berbantuan LKS mencapai ketuntasan klasikal dan individual, dan (3) terdapat pengaruh keaktifan belajar siswa pada model pembelajaran SAVI berbantuan LKS dan model pembelajaran REACT berbantuan LKS terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Samples taken using cluster random sampling. Data collection techniques used are tests and observations. The data analysis technique used is the analysis of one-way cell variance is not the same. The results showed that: (1) SAVI learning models assisted by LKS and REACT learning models assisted by LKS produced the same mathematical communication skills, and both learning models produced students' mathematical communication skills better than conventional learning models, (2) ability Mathematical communication of students who obtain SAVI learning models assisted by LKS and REACT learning models assisted by LKS reaches classical and individual completeness, and (3) there is an effect of student learning activeness on SAVI learning models assisted by LKS and REACT learning models assisted by LKS on students' mathematical communication skills. <p>The aims of this study is to find out: (1) a better learning model between contextual, realistic or conventional; (2) better learning outcomes between students with high, medium or low interpersonal intelligence; (3) better learning outcomes between students with high, medium or low interpersonal intelligence on each learning model; (4) a better learning model between contextual, realistic or conventional at each level of interpersonal intelligence. This research is using the experimental method. The sampling technique is cluster random sampling. Data collection tools used were questionnaires and tests. The data analysis technique used is the analysis of three-way variance with unequal cells. The results showed that: (1) contextual learning models are better than realistic but provide the same learning outcomes as conventional, while realistic and conventional learning outcomes are equally good; (2) students who have high, medium or low interpersonal intelligence have the same learning outcomes; (3) In each learning model, students with high, medium and low interpersonal intelligence have the same learning outcomes; (4) At each level of interpersonal intelligence, the contextual learning model is better than realistic and conventional.</p>

The purpose of this research is to find: 1). Student's achievement in mathematics representation ability who followed the learning process using Think, Talk, Write strategy; 2).  Student's achievement in self-efficacy who followed the learning process using Think, Talk, Write strategy; 3). Whether a student's achievement in mathematics representation ability who followed the learning process using Think, Talk, Write strategy is better than a student who followed a direct learning process; 4). Whether a student self-efficacy who followed the learning process using Think, Talk, Write strategy is better than a student who followed a direct learning process.The population of this research is a whole of the 8thgrade students from Junior High Schools from Purbalingga. The sampling process is determined by a cluster random sampling technique so that the research can obtain the experiment class in which learning proses are using the TTW strategy with 71,81 rate, meanwhile, students who are following direct learning are around 62,94. Based on the student self-efficacy questionnaire who followed learning process with the TTW strategy are 74,37 rate, meanwhile students who are following direct learning are around 66,37. The data analysis using independent sample T-Test to test one right side. The result of the research shows that student's achievement in mathematics representation ability who followed the learning process using the TTW strategy is better than a student who followed a direct learning process. Student self-efficacy who followed the learning process using the TTW strategy is better than a student who followed a direct learning process.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas model pembelajaran Think Pair Share dengan komik matematika ditinjau dari kemampuan memecahkan masalah matematis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan desain Posttest-Only Control Design. Ukuran sampel adalah 68 siswa yang diambil menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Tes Pemecahan Masalah Matematika. Teknik analisis data digunakan dengan menggunakan uji statistik parametrik yaitu uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada kemampuan memecahkan masalah matematis, model pembelajaran model Think Pair Share dengan menggunakan komik matematika lebih efektif daripada pembelajaran Think Pair Share tanpa menggunakan komik. Berkaitan dengan ini komik dapat digunakan sebagai alternatrif dalam pemilihan media pada pembelajaran matematika.   Kata kunci: Think Pair Share, komik, kemampuan memecahkan masalah matematis.   ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to study the learning model of Paired Thinking Sharing with mathematical comics in terms of mathematical problem-solving skills. The research method used is an experiment with the design of Posttest-Only Control Design. The sample size was 68 students taken using cluster random sampling technique. The instrument used in this study is the mathematical problem-solving test. Data analysis technique used by using parametric statistical test is t-test. The results of the study show that  , Think Pair Share learning model by using mathematical comics is more effective to solve mathematical problems than Think Pair Share learning without using comics. It is recommended to use comics as an alternative in selecting media in mathematics learning. Keywords: Think Pair Share, comic, mathematical problem solving skill.

Kemampuan komunikasi matematis dalam proses pembelajaran sangat diperlukan oleh siswa. Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan ini yaitu melaksanakan  model pembelajaran Quick on the Draw. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dalam pembelajaran dengan model Quick on The Draw di SMPN 3 Banjarmasin, (2) kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dalam pembelajaran dengan pembelajaran langsung di SMPN 3 Banjarmasin, (3) perbedaan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dalam pembelajaran antara menerapkan model Quick On The Draw dengan pembelajaran langsung di SMPN 3 Banjarmasin. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuasi eksperimen dengan the static-Group Comparison. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII SMPN 3 Banjarmasin. Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu kelas VIIIG dan VIIIH. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu dengan dokumentasi dan tes evaluasi. Teknik analisis yang digunakan yaitu nilai rata-rata, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji beda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa SMPN 3 Banjarmasin yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran Quick on the Draw dan model pembelajaran langsung. Kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dengan model Quick on the Draw berada pada kategori baik, sedangkan dengan model pembelajaran langsung berada pada kategori cukup. Kata Kunci: Kemampuan komunikasi matematis, quick on the draw, pembelajaran langsung Abstract: Mathematical communication skills in the learning process are needed by students. One of the efforts made to improve this ability is by implementing the Quick on the Draw learning model. The purpose of this study was to determine: (1) students 'mathematical communication skills in learning by Quick on The Draw model at SMPN 3 Banjarmasin, (2) students' mathematical communication skills in learning by direct learning model at SMPN 3 Banjarmasin, (3) the differences of students' mathematical communication skills in learning between applying the Quick on The Draw model and direct learning model at SMPN 3 Banjarmasin. The research method used is quasi experiment with the static-Group Comparison. The study population was students of grade VIII SMPN 3 Banjarmasin. The sample in this study is the students of grade VIIIG and VIIIH. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. Data collection techniques used documentation and evaluation tests. The analysis techniques used are mean, normality test, homogeneity test, and t-test. The results showed that there were significant differences in the students’ mathematical communication skills of SMPN 3 Banjarmasin who were taught with the Quick on the Draw learning model and the direct learning model. Students’ mathematical communication skills with the Quick on the Draw model are in the good category, while the direct learning model is in the sufficient category. Keywords: Mathematical communication skills, quick on the draw, direct learning

The background of this research was based on students� lack of mathematical connection ability in learning. The aim of this research was to determine students� mathematical connection ability through Two-Stay Two-Stray learning model assisted by Geogebra application was better than that on cube and cuboid subject. The type of this research was Experimental and Design of Intact-Group Comparison Research. The sampling technique of this research used Cluster Random Sampling and students of grade VIII D, VIII E, VIII F in SMP Negeri 3 Slawi were chosen as the samples. The technique of collecting data used interview, documentation, and test. The result of this research showed that students� mathematical connection ability through Two-Stay Two-Stray learning model assisted by Geogebra application was better than that without Geogebra application proven by the t-test.
