Geographic Information System Technology (GIS) / Geographic Information System (GIS) is a technological information system regarding geography that is very developed up to the present. Geographic Information Systems have a very good ability in visualizing spatial data and its attributes, modifying shapes, colors, sizes, and symbols. GIS can be used by various fields of science, work, and events. Along with the advancement of information technology in the modern era, government services to the public must adapt to the demands of the times. Creativity and innovation as a form of service to the community are absolute and very necessary and one of them is by providing information technology-based services. The Office of Religious Affairs is an office that carries out part of the duties of the Indonesian Ministry of Religion office in the regencies and municipalities in the field of Islamic religious affairs within the sub-district. The purpose of this research is to improve the management of waqf assets by displaying the geographical locations of waqf land assets so that it is easier to monitor waqf assets so that their utilization can be maximized through the geographical information system at the Cikupa District Religious Affairs Office. Endowments are assets of the people who must be saved, managed well, and developed for useful purposes. The system analysis method used is PIECES which consists of Performance, Information, Economy, Control, Efficiency and Service. Unified modeling Language (UML) as a tool to analyze system rocedures that are running. With a geographic information system monitoring waqf land assets can display waqf assets contained in Cikupa District by displaying the location of waqf land through digital maps contained in geographic information systems. This study aims to describe the green political view of coastal area management in Jenu sub-district, Tuban Regency. The location is in Jenu sub-district, Tuban district, with a research focus on the coastal area of the Jenu sub-district, Tuban district. By using a green political perspective, qualitative methods and in-depth interviews, direct observa- tion and documentation in the data. The research informants were the administrators of the Tuban Mangrove Center, the District Government of Jenu, Tuban Regency, the Envi- ronmental Service of Tuban Regency, the Department of Fisheries and Animal Husbandry of Tuban Regency, and the people living in the coastal area of Jenu sub-district. The results showed that from a green political perspective, the management of coastal areas in Jenu sub-district, Tuban district, has not met the goals and targets that are expected to increase economic growth without destroying the natural and social ecosystems of the coastal area. Efforts to exploit coastal areas by illegal mining of sea sand and reclamation to build several infrastructures have resulted in natural damage in the form of shoreline retreat, accretion and abrasion. The Tuban regency government, with the AMDAL permit that has been issued, is part of the cause of the damage to the coastal area of the Jenu Tuban sub-district today.

Soil landscapes and their component facets (or sub-units) are fundamental information for land capability assessment and land use planning. The aim of the study was to delineate soil landscape facets from readily available digital elevation models (DEM) to assist soil constraint assessment for urban and regional planning in the coastal areas of New South Wales (NSW), Australia. The Compound Topographic Index (CTI) surfaces were computed from 25 m DEM using a D-infinity algorithm. The cumulative frequency distribution of CTI values within each soil landscape was examined to identify the values corresponding to the area specified for each unmapped facet within the soil landscape map unit. Then these threshold values and CTI surfaces were used to generate soil landscape facet maps for the entire coastal areas of NSW. Specific programs were developed for the above processes in a geographic information system so that they are automated, fast, and repeatable. The modelled facets were assessed by field validation and the overall accuracy reached 93%. The methodology developed in this study has been proven to be efficient in delineating soil landscape facets, and allowing for the identification of land constraints at levels of unprecedented detail for the coast of NSW.

Abstract Coastal management is an important issue for most regions of the world. This is because the initial activities in the fisheries and marine sector began in this area, ranging from capture fisheries, aquaculture, processing of fishery products to marketing. But in reality the management of coastal areas is not optimal and evenly distributed, even though fishery and marine resources have high economic and ecological value, as happened in the coastal area of Torokeku Village. This study aims to determine the appropriate community development approach strategy through the eco blue sea concept in order to maintain fisheries and marine resources found in the coastal area of the Bajo tribal community in Torokeku Village, South Konawe Regency. The research was conducted using descriptive qualitative analysis method. Collecting data through direct survey techniques in the field. The results obtained show that community-based coastal area management by seeking the development of coastal communities can be carried out through structural and non-structural approaches, so that in order to maintain these resources, their management must be carried out in a planned and integrated manner and able to provide the greatest benefit to all stakeholders, especially coastal communities, and minimize impacts and conflicts that may potentially occur.
