This research aims to discuss the development strategies of traditional minangkabau food which became pre-eminent in West Sumatra Province. Tours in the Minangkabau is known in three things namely culinary tour (traditional foods), nature tourism and cultural tourism.  The technique of data collection through interviews and questionnaires as well as FGD. Data analysis was done with the analysis tools SWOT, EFAS, IFAD da QSPM. The object of the traditional food flagship developed is the beef rendang. The results of the analysis of internal factors obtained score 3.1 while external factor analysis of the retrieved value score 2.8. This indicates that the product is able to maintain the same power factor-factor exists to be able to overcome his weakness factors. In addition to the main development strategy that is right based on the internal-external matrix is keep and preserve consisting of market penetration strategies and product development strategy. While based on analysis of the QSPM retrieved the most priority strategy is a strategy of improving and maintaining the image quality of the products and packaging as well as food quality control. While the next alternative strategies is to increase promotion and different types of products.

To be able to survive in a continuously growing competitive environment, the right business strategy is needed. Aim of this research is to formulate a set of marketing communication mix strategies to increase room sales and hotel profits for The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Mega Kuningan. The methods used in this research are SWOT analysis and IFE-EFE matrix. The findings  suggested that the Hotel must hold and maintain strategy whereas it can be elaborated into four aspects 1) horizontal integration strategy by seeking ownership or increased control over competitors; 2) market penetration strategy; by seeking increased market share for present products or services in present markets through greater marketing efforts; 3) market development strategy by  introducing present products or services into the new geographic area, and 4) product development strategy; by seeking increased sales through improving present products or services or developing new ones.

The coffee shop culinary services industry is now growing rapidly in urban areas such as Jakarta.  The purpose of this study is to determine the priority strategy for the development of the coffee shop business. The study was designed using Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) method which is also supported by IE Matrix and SWOT Analysis method. The data retrieval used is Focus Group Discussion (FGD) involving customers, management, and staff as respondents. The results of this study, matrix IE shows that the company is in Quadrant II growing and developing which means J.CO Donuts &Coffee needs to focus on carrying out intensive strategies such as market penetration, market development, and product development. The result of QSPM is a strategy to improve the quality of human resources services, to correct the shortcomings of workers' skills. This strategy can be realized in the form of training or refreshment to take employees to more advanced coffee shops.

Koperasi merupakan salah satu lembaga keuangan yang memberikan jasa layanan keuangan berupa simpan pinjam tidak akan bisa lepas untuk dihadapkan kepada persaingan dari koperasi lain dan lembaga keuangan lainnya. Untuk itu lembaga koperasi sangat penting melakukan identifikasi faktor-faktor internal yang menjadi kekuatan dan kelemahan dari koperasi tersebut dan juga dapat mengidentifikasi faktor eksternal untuk dapat melihat peluang dan ancaman bagi koperasi sehingga mampu merumuskan strategi pemasaran yang tepat untuk memiliki keunggulan kompetitif bagi koperasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Koperasi Kuta Mimba dengan menggunakan metode wawancara kepada pengurus dan manjemen Koperasi Kuta Mimba, kemudian dilakukan analisa SWOT dan analisis IFAS, EFAS selanjutnya memberikan output berupa hasil analisa yang dijadikan dasar didalam menentukan merumuskan strategi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut Koperasi Kuta Mimba saat ini seharusnya menerapkan strategi agresif, maka perusahaan dapat memanfaatkan kekuatan internalnya  untuk  meraih  kesempatan/peluang  yang   ada,   mengatasi   masalah intern, dan menghindari ancaman-ancaman yang ada. Berkenaan  dengan  strategi agresif ini maka implementasinya berkaitan dengan penerapan strategi di segala bidang pada Koperasi Kuta Mimba melalui strategi pertumbuhan intensif dari Wheelen-Hunger yang meliputi : Strategi Penetrasi Pasar (market penetration strategy), Strategi Pengembangan Pasar (market development strategy), dan Strategi Pengembangan Produk (product development strategy). Karanganyar Regency is an area that has great potential for agroindustry development. Equivalance with development priorities in this district, industry and agriculture have an important role. Agroindustry processing can improve the performance of the agricultural sector. The purpose of this research is to find out the priority map of agroindustry in Kranganyar Regency, to know the position of competing sweet potato agroindusty, and to formulate priority of development strategy of sweet potato agroindustry in Karanganayar Regency. The basic method of this research is descriptive analytic. Priority agroindustry was analyzed by Delphi method, and the determination of competing position and alternatives strategy was analyzed with Internal-External Matrix (IE) and Grand Strategy Matrix. The decision on strategy selection is determined by Quantitative Startegic Planning Matrix (QSPM). The results showed that sweet potato agroindustry as leading agroindustry in Karanganyar Regency. Based on IE matrix analysis, the position of competing sweet potato agroindustry is in quadrant II (product development strategy and market penetration). Based on the Grand Strategy Matrix, the position of sweet potato agroindustry is in quadrant I which means having perfect strategic position. Based on QSPM obtained the most appropriate strategy recommendation of sweet potato agroindustry is product development strategy.

The purpose of this research was to identify readiness and ways to increase community prosperity in Belitung Regency through the concept of society based tourism development. By the tourism product offered, thus the most appropriate way was promoting the original characters of Belitung Regency community in tourism product development strategy and then developing the development framework, so that tourism activities in Belitung Regency can be a form of sustainable tourism. In order to support the objective, improving the quality of community should be a major concern, so that the community would be able to create tourism products that have competitive and comparative qualities in international market and able to improve and facilitate community potential and tourism potential in Belitung regency to improve the community prosperity which has been relying on the income from mining sector.

This study aims to analyze external and internal factors in the form of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in the development of Linjuang tourism objects in Lubuk Sikaping, Pasaman Regency, West Sumatra. After the analysis is carried out, a development strategy is formulated by minimizing weaknesses and threats and then maximizing the existing strengths and opportunities. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method using SWOT analysis tools (Strengths, Weaknes, Opportunities, Threats). Data collection techniques through literature study, observation and interviews with owners, communities and visitors of Linjuang tourism objects. Based on the results of the study, it is concluded that the strategy for developing Linjuang tourism objects, among others, is by completing facilities and markets such as toilets, prayer rooms and parking locations as well as maintenance of tourist attraction areas, then promoting tourism objects through online and print media and involving the government, private sector and the community in management. tourist attraction. Sentral Perkasa Jaya is a company that’s move in expedition. The problem faced is the development of technology causing intense business competition, resulting in decreased level of corporate income from year to year. In addition, the strategies used also tend to be monotonous, causing companies to compete with other companies. There are many problem of marketing strategy in the company, it can be an analysis of internal and external factors in the company. Next, internal and external factors will be analyzed again using SWOT matrix and IE matrix. After that Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) are used to analyze decision making selection about appropriate strategies applied n the company. Based on the calculation of strategies that have been done using two methods, SWOT and IE, then the appropriate alternative strategy for the company is a market penetration strategy and product development strategy. The results of the QSPM method indicate that the best alternative strategy is the product development strategy with a total score of 5.47. This product development strategy is a strategy whereby a company does an existing product repair, or develops a new product to increase sales.

The objectives of present study were to formulate development strategies for dairy goat' farms that capable of supporting goat's milk agribusiness. Three medium scale dairy goat farms located in Bogor Regency which has population of more than 100 heads and has established more than 10 years were purposively selected for the study. Data were collected during February to May 2014. The design of this study was based on descriptive qualitative approach (rapid appraisal approach). Data were analized using internal factors evaluation (IFE) and external factors evaluation (EFE), strategic position and action evaluation (SPACE) matrix, and grand strategy matrix. It was revealed that dairy goat farms in Bogor Regency were located in quadrant I in SPACE matrix, which was on the aggressive strategy. Dairy goat farms have many resource advantages, despite facing various threats. The Grand Strategy Matrix analysis showed that dairy goat farms were in quadrant I. Dairy goat farms were in an excellent position to take advantage of the opportunities, overcome internal weaknesses and avoiding multiple external threats. The best strategies to be selected for dairy goat farms were market penetration and product development.
