Policies to maintain rice prices are a sensitive policy in Indonesia so that the government controls the rice price tightly in every level of the rice market. To make sure it runs well, the government needs to take into account the magnitude, direction, and speed of transmission of the rice price changes. When these three things can be monitored and controlled well, the success rate of controlling prices is in hand. This study investigates the direction and speed of transmission of changes in grain prices at the farm level to changes in rice prices at various levels of trade. The empirical results utilizing Granger Causality Test and VAR indicate that changes in the price of grain at the farm level significantly cause changes in rice prices at the milling and wholesale levels in a unidirectional way. Meanwhile, there is a piece of additional information where changes in the retail price of rice significantly cause changes in the price of grain at the farm level rather than vice versa. By implementing the IRFs method reveal the transmission’s duration of price change takes place in the short term and long term. Considering these findings, the policy of stabilizing rice prices at the mill and wholesale levels should be implemented immediately when the price of farmers' grain begins to change.

The research method used descriptive analysis to explain supply chain flow and SCOR analysis to measure supply chain performance of PT. Sumber Yalasamudra. The results of the analysis showed that the supply chain flow of PT. Sumber Yalasamudra are divided into 3 streams, namely (a) product flows from fishermen to final consumers (buyers), (b) financial flows flowing from downstream to upstream in cash with a period of time and (c) information flows flowing from upstream to downstream and vice versa, and supply chain performance of PT Sumber Yalasamudra based on 5 attributes of SCM (Supply Chain Management) it can be concluded that PT Sumber Yalasamudra has a good performance because it is in a superior position.

The research method used was descriptive-analytic. The sample was 100 people with convenience sampling. Chi-square and Mann-Whitney tests were used to analyze consumer characteristics, and logistic regression to analyze consumer decision-making factors. The results showed that there was a relationship between the consumer's occupation and the decision to buy chicken meat, and there were differences in education and income between consumers in pure traditional markets and SNI traditional markets. Variables that significantly influence consumer decisions are the price of purebred chicken, location, number of family members, and education. For managers of traditional markets in Situbondo Regency, it is necessary to arrange shops, improve market facilities such as waiting rooms and maintain cleanliness so that they remain consumer choices.

Watermelon commodity has the highest productivity compared to other superior fruit commodities in Banyuwangi Regency. However, the land area and production of watermelon commodities are still quite volatile and their distribution is uneven. Therefore, a regional approach for watermelon commodities is needed in Banyuwangi Regency. This study aimed to determine the watermelon commodity base area, the characteristics of the watermelon commodity distribution, and the carrying capacity of the watermelon commodity on fruit horticultural crops in the Banyuwangi Regency. The determination of the research area was carried out intentionally in Banyuwangi Regency. The analytical methods used were Location Quotient (LQ) analysis, localization and specialization analysis, as well as Basic Service Ratio (BSR) and Regional Multiplier (RM) analysis. The results of the analysis show that the sub-district area was the basis for watermelon commodities in Banyuwangi Regency. The characteristics of the distribution of watermelon commodities in the Banyuwangi Regency were not localized. Watermelon farming activities are not concentrated in one sub-district but spread to several sub-districts in Banyuwangi Regency. The results of the analysis of the Basic Service Ratio (BSR) and Regional Multiplier (RM) of watermelon commodities produce more than one value. The existence of watermelon commodity farming activities can support fruit horticultural farming activities in Banyuwangi Regency.

Strawberry (Fragaria sp.)  is a type of fruit that has high economic value. An to increase the income of strawberry farmers is by intercropping with leek. To understand the efficiency of the farming the by using production input. This research aims to 1) analyze the effect of the use of production factors, 2) analyze the level of efficiency in the use of production factors, and 3) to analyze the profit level of intercropping strawberries-leek in Serang Village, Karangreja District, Purbalingga Regency. There are 35 samples obtained using simple random sampling. The analysis was performed using the Cobb Douglass production function analysis, the NPM / BKM ratio and farm income analysis. The results of this research were the use of production factors, seed; area; labor; and insecticides partially affected the production of intercropping strawberries, while the production factors of chicken-husk fertilizer; NPK-Phonska fertilizer; other fertilizers; and fungicides had no effect on the production of intercropping strawberries. The production factors for seeds; labor; and insecticides have an NPM-BKM ratio value greater than one where the use of these inputs is not efficient. Meanwhile, the production factor for land area has an NPM-BKM ratio value of less than one where the use of these inputs is not efficient. R / C for cash costs was 4.61 and R / C for total costs was 1.09. The R / C value for both cash costs and total costs has a value greater than one, so the strawberry and leek intercropping farming in Serang Village can be said to be profitable.
