The objectives of present study were to formulate development strategies for dairy goat' farms that capable of supporting goat's milk agribusiness. Three medium scale dairy goat farms located in Bogor Regency which has population of more than 100 heads and has established more than 10 years were purposively selected for the study. Data were collected during February to May 2014. The design of this study was based on descriptive qualitative approach (rapid appraisal approach). Data were analized using internal factors evaluation (IFE) and external factors evaluation (EFE), strategic position and action evaluation (SPACE) matrix, and grand strategy matrix. It was revealed that dairy goat farms in Bogor Regency were located in quadrant I in SPACE matrix, which was on the aggressive strategy. Dairy goat farms have many resource advantages, despite facing various threats. The Grand Strategy Matrix analysis showed that dairy goat farms were in quadrant I. Dairy goat farms were in an excellent position to take advantage of the opportunities, overcome internal weaknesses and avoiding multiple external threats. The best strategies to be selected for dairy goat farms were market penetration and product development.

Karanganyar Regency is an area that has great potential for agroindustry development. Equivalance with development priorities in this district, industry and agriculture have an important role. Agroindustry processing can improve the performance of the agricultural sector. The purpose of this research is to find out the priority map of agroindustry in Kranganyar Regency, to know the position of competing sweet potato agroindusty, and to formulate priority of development strategy of sweet potato agroindustry in Karanganayar Regency. The basic method of this research is descriptive analytic. Priority agroindustry was analyzed by Delphi method, and the determination of competing position and alternatives strategy was analyzed with Internal-External Matrix (IE) and Grand Strategy Matrix. The decision on strategy selection is determined by Quantitative Startegic Planning Matrix (QSPM). The results showed that sweet potato agroindustry as leading agroindustry in Karanganyar Regency. Based on IE matrix analysis, the position of competing sweet potato agroindustry is in quadrant II (product development strategy and market penetration). Based on the Grand Strategy Matrix, the position of sweet potato agroindustry is in quadrant I which means having perfect strategic position. Based on QSPM obtained the most appropriate strategy recommendation of sweet potato agroindustry is product development strategy.

This research was conducted to help Youngsterpro companies determine appropriate business strategies in order to improve performance. This study applies qualitative methods through field research to the parties concerned in obtaining information, besides that also based on literature studies and analytical methods in strategy formulation here consists of three stages, the input by analyzing SWOT, EFE matrix, IFE matrix to summarize the basic information used to produce an alternative strategy in Matching stage, is the second stage, by aligning external and internal factors using the SWOT matrix and SPACE matrix, and the last is the decision making stage to determine the best strategy for the company based on the attractiveness of each strategy objectively through the QSPM matrix . The results of the study recommend Youngsterpro companies to consider a diversification strategy because it is the best strategy that is most appropriate for Youngsterpro besides that the product development strategy can also be considered as an alternative strategy to improve performance.

This research aims to discuss the development strategies of traditional minangkabau food which became pre-eminent in West Sumatra Province. Tours in the Minangkabau is known in three things namely culinary tour (traditional foods), nature tourism and cultural tourism.  The technique of data collection through interviews and questionnaires as well as FGD. Data analysis was done with the analysis tools SWOT, EFAS, IFAD da QSPM. The object of the traditional food flagship developed is the beef rendang. The results of the analysis of internal factors obtained score 3.1 while external factor analysis of the retrieved value score 2.8. This indicates that the product is able to maintain the same power factor-factor exists to be able to overcome his weakness factors. In addition to the main development strategy that is right based on the internal-external matrix is keep and preserve consisting of market penetration strategies and product development strategy. While based on analysis of the QSPM retrieved the most priority strategy is a strategy of improving and maintaining the image quality of the products and packaging as well as food quality control. While the next alternative strategies is to increase promotion and different types of products.

The first purpose of the research were to identify and analyze potential of agrotourism Bukit Flora and potential area to support development agrotourism Bukit Flora. The second purpose is to identify and analize internal and external environment agrotourism Bukit Flora the factors into strengths, weaknesses, oppurtunities and threats for development  agrotourism of Bukit Flora and the last purpose in this research is formulate appropriate strategies for development strategy of agrotourism Bukit Flora.Data analysis method use descriptive analysis and qualitative analysis. Descriptive analysis was used to analyze the potential of agrotourism Bukit Flora and identify the main factors to give weight to the factors that we have setconsisting of strengths, opportunities, weaknesses and threats by comparing the rows and columns of each variable on internal factors (IFE) and external (EFE). While the use of qualitative analysis in the form of a SWOT analysis and SWOT matrix IE matrix is used to analyze the development of agrotourism strategy using analysisQSPM.IFE total weighted scores of 2.56 and 2.30 for EFE. Placing agro Bukit Flora is in cell V. Based on the results of the SWOT matrix analysis, it can be obtained by four alternative strategies that can be taken in the development of agro Bukit Flora. Based on the results QSPM matrix, the value of the attraction was highest at 3 strategy with the total amount of the appeal (TAS) was 6.26.

Technological developments currently occur in several fields such as technological developments in the field of presentation. The latest presentation technology today is by using interactive flat panel where with this technology can provide a very good experience to its users. The purpose of the research is to obtain a description of marketing strategic steps that should be done by PT Datascrip in an effort to increase sales from Benq interactive flat panel and assess the extent to which the effectiveness of marketing strategies applied. The method used in this research is by qualitative descriptive method and by doing SWOT analysis (EFE and IFE matrix). The results of the EFE and IFE matrix analysis show that BenQ interactive flat panel products in overcoming threats are above average or show that BenQ interactive flat panel products have the ability to reach existing opportunities and internal management of PT Datascrip has strong enough capital to compete with competitors. The conclusion of this research is marketing strategy that can be done that is market development strategy, market penetration, and product development.

Ministry of Industry assesses that the processing industry is still consistently contributing the most to the achievement of export value national. There are manufacturing industry sectors that have achieved low scores on the contribution of export value. Namely the apparel industry, wood industry, and industrial furniture. There are obstacles and problems for the three industries to increase export value. The problem is the low competitiveness of the three industries in exporting. This study aims to analyze and see the condition of the competitiveness of the Small and Medium Creative Industry in the KI Jakarta based on exports from the supply-side analysis. This research is qualitative research using interview and survey methods. The samples of this research were Furniture / Furniture IKM, Batik IKM, and Handicraft IKM which succeeded in contributing the export contribution value to IKM. The results of this study indicate that the conditions of the three creative SMIs in Jakarta have different capabilities and strategies in contributing to export value. Based on the results of the SWOT and SPACE matrix analysis, a special strategy is needed to increase competitiveness. Among them, the right strategies are Furniture IKM and Handicraft IKM located in the quadrant size “aggressive” which indicates that the Furniture IKM in DKI Jakarta is in a very good position in using its internal strength. Therefore, the strategies suitable for use by IKM Furniture in DKI Jakarta include market penetration strategy, market development, product development, backward integration, forward integration, horizontal integration, or diversification. Meanwhile, IKM Batik is in the quadrant position “Conservative” which indicates that IKM Batik is in a low or weak competitive position and must improve the company's strategic position to have strong competitiveness

Abstract Bread can be found in various food outlets as bakeries, departement stores, stalls, vending sellers or canteens of school and campus. In Bandar Lampung, some bread is produced by small units of bakery either by individual or joint business. The research is aimed at learning some problems of product marketing and some aspects significantly influencing the marketing strategyof the new campus bakery. The research shows that the internal factor evaluation analysis value was at 2,564 that indicate medium value, while the external factor evaluation analysis was at 2,265 which indicate medium value. The internal-external analysis shows that the bakery was at V position, strategy can do in these conditions is market penetration and product development. Strength, weaknesses, oppourtunities, and threats analysis found that the bakery apply 11 businnes strategies developed based on the internal factors – the strengt and weaknesses – as well as the external factors – the opportunities and threat. The condition of land in Kakap subdistrict of Kubu Raya District is swamp furthermore the land is affected by tidal area so that it becomes the limiting factor to get high production and productivity. This study aims to determine the condition of chili pepper business in the village of Kalimas in Sungai Kakap District of Kubu Raya. And also to formulate alternative strategy of development of chili pepper farming. In this study it is known that chili pepper farming in the village of Kalimas has internal factors that become the main strength of the ease of marketing factors of production. While the main weakness is the capital factor of farming. The external factor that becomes the main opportunity is the demand factor of chili pepper and the main threat is the attacking factor of plant disturbing organism. Through SWOT matrix analysis, it is known that internal factors that become strength and weakness are combined with external factors into opportunities and threats so that there are several alternative strategies for the development of chili pepper farming. SO strategies obtained are: Increased production through intensification and extensification, application of agribusiness farming system by partnering to subsystems of input providers and production facilities and marketing subsystems. For the WO strategy gained are: Strengthening of stakeholders through improvement of cooperation relationship with all related parties, improvement of training and socialization and optimization of production. While for strategy of ST and WT that is obtained is: efficiency of use of means of production and diversification of farming without leaving chili pepper farming.<strong></strong></em></p>

This study was aimed to determine the principal factors that may affect any development of the cattle business and know what strategies can be applied in the development of the cattle business in the District WuryantoroWonogiri. Research method used in this study was a mixed method collect qualitative and quantitative primary data from respondents and secondary data from relevant agencies, namely BPS Wonogiri, Wonogiri District Agriculture Office, and Subdistrict Wuryantoro. Research sampling was determined by convenience sampling of 60 farmers, and 10 respondents from public government and cattle traders. Analysis of data using internal and external situation analysis, also SWOT analysis. SWOT analysis qualitative of internal factors resulted in the identification of Strength and Weakness contained in the cattle business that consists of human resources, financial condition, operations / production, management, marketing. The analysis of external factors resulted in the identification of factors external in the form of opportunity and threats that exist in the beef cattle business as consisting of social, economic, public policy, and technology. The results of the matrix analysis showed results that the internal factors of 1.09 (on the x-axis), and external factors of 0.23 (on the y-axis).Hence,appropriate strategy in the development of beef cattle farms was in quadrant I that support aggressive growth policy (GrowthOriented Strategy),which uses strength to gain opportunities, profits in the cattle business.

A source of income for farmers would be 'Kopi Jantan Toraja' (Peaberry coffee). The growing demand due to changes in the lifestyles of people makes today's coffee more popular. 'Kopi Jantan Toraja' is one of the interesting business options to be produced to boost the farmers' economy. This study aims to define and evaluate the internal and external factors of the "Kopi Jantan Toraja" company in the hope that the internal conditions examined can enable farmers to explore the strengths and weaknesses as well as the opportunities or challenges and threats to be addressed in the company. Internal and external environmental analysis is the type of data collection and analysis used in this study. IFE and EFE in the early phases (Internal and External Factor Evaluation). In the next step, the status of the "Kopi Jantan Toraja" company was calculated by the IE Matrix analysis method. 19 (nineteen) internal factors (8 strengths and 11 weaknesses) and 14 (fourteen) external factors were seen in the IFE and EFE study (8 opportunities and 6 threats). Based on the IE matrix, UMKM Kopi 1000 Nurhidayah's "Kopi Jantan Toraja" company is in a position to keep and sustain, suggesting that a viable approach used by UMKM Kopi 1000 Nurhidayah is market penetration and product growth strategy.
