The string matching algorithm is the one of the most important parts in the various processes related to data and text types, which is the word search on computer dictionary. Computers have a basic role in the field of education, especially in teaching and learning activities. So that the classical learning model, that is by using the book as learning resource can be boring. To make it easier for users who searching words, we made an offline dictionary application based on Android by applying Zhu-Takaoka algorithm and Knuth-Morris-Pratt algorithm. The performance of Zhu-Takaoka is doing a search starts from the end of pattern that is tailored to the text, but in Knuth-Morris-Pratt algorithm starts from the beginning of pattern till match which the pattern used is word searched. The result of this research indicates that the Zhu-Takaoka algorithm is faster than the Knuth-Morris-Pratt algorithm which showed the running time of each algorithm.

Observations are widely used in research and evaluation to characterize teaching and learning activities. Because conducting observations is typically resource intensive, it is important that inferences from observation data are made confidently. While attention focuses on interrater reliability, the reliability of a single-class measure over the course of a semester receives less attention. We examined the use and limitations of observation for evaluating teaching practices, and how many observations are needed during a typical course to make confident inferences about teaching practices. We conducted two studies based on generalizability theory to calculate reliabilities given class-to-class variation in teaching over a semester. Eleven observations of class periods over the length of a semester were needed to achieve a reliable measure, many more than the one to four class periods typically observed in the literature. Findings suggest practitioners may need to devote more resources than anticipated to achieve reliable measures and comparisons.

This study is motivated by the issues found in observations at school, where the daily teaching activities carried out by teachers show that; teaching and learning activities are classical, the teacher only stands or sits in front of the class, the direct relationship between the teacher and students is rare, and students tend to behave passively, such as coming, listening, reading and writing. To overcome this issues, the researchers conducted a research by applying a three-step type of cooperative learning model interview in learning mathematics in the class. The purpose of this study is to reveal the activities and learning outcomes of students after applying the three-step interview type cooperative learning model. From the results of the study it was found that the learning activities of students during the application of the three step interview cooperative learning model increased at each meeting. Thus it can be concluded that the mathematics learning outcomes of students with learning by applying a three-step interview type cooperative learning model is better than those who do not apply the techniques.

AbstractUtilization of the environment as a learning resource in teaching and learning process Social Studies in school is very important, because the environment is very rich in information. This study aims to describe: (1) physical environmental conditions around SMP Negeri 3 Jorong Tanah Laut Regency; (2) utilization of the physical environment around the school as a learning resource Social Studies students of SMP Negeri 3 Jorong Tanah Laut District. The research method used is descriptive with qualitative approach. Source of data obtained from informants, images, photos, documents, field notes and writings. Data collection is done by direct observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. To obtain data validity using data/source triangulation and method triagulation. Analytical techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that: (1) Around the junior high school 3 Jorong school there are various sources of learning that can be utilized for teaching and learning activities. Some places or physical environmental conditions around SMP Negeri 3 Jorong that can be extracted and used to be used as a source of learning Social Studies such as agricultural land/rice fields, oil palm plantation, rubber plantation, rejo village office, poskesdes. (2) The utilization of the physical environment around the school as a learning resource can be pursued by conducting learning activities outside the classroom by bringing students directly to the learning resource environment. Learning by utilizing the physical environment around the school as a source of learning also leads to changes in student outcomes, there is an increase in value after students learn directly to the source and observe objects to the field.Keywords: Physical Environment, learning resources of Social Studies AbstrakPemanfaatan lingkungan sebagai sumber belajar dalam proses belajar mengajar IPS di sekolah sangat penting, karena lingkungan sangat kaya informasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) kondisi lingkungan fisik di sekitar SMP Negeri 3 Jorong Kabupaten Tanah Laut; (2) pemanfaatan lingkungan fisik di sekitar sekolah sebagai sumber belajar IPS siswa SMP Negeri 3 Jorong Kabupaten Tanah Laut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Sumber data diperoleh dari informan, gambar, foto, dokumen, catatan lapangan serta tulisan-tulisan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi langsung, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Guna memperoleh validitas data menggunakan triangulasi data/sumber dan triagulasi metode. Teknik analisis yang digunakan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Di sekitar sekolah SMP Negeri 3 Jorong terdapat berbagai macam sumber belajar yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk kegiatan belajar mengajar. Beberapa tempat atau kondisi lingkungan fisik di sekitar SMP Negeri 3 Jorong yang bisa digali dan dimanfaatkan untuk dijadikan sebagai sumber belajar IPS antara lain lahan pertanian/sawah, lahan perkebunan sawit, lahan perkebunan karet, kantor desa karang rejo, poskesdes. (2) Pemanfaatan lingkungan fisik di sekitar sekolah sebagai sumber belajar dapat ditempuh dengan cara melakukan kegiatan pembelajaran di luar kelas dengan membawa peserta didik langsung ke lingkungan sumber belajar. Pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan lingkungan fisik di sekitar sekolah sebagai sumber belajar juga membawa perubahan terhadap hasil yang dicapai siswa, ada peningkatan nilai setelah siswa belajar langsung ke sumbernya dan mengamati obyek ke lapangan.Kata Kunci: Lingkungan fisik, dan sumber belajar IPS

The advent of the COVID-19 pandemic witnessed a significant consumption of digital contents. Teaching and learning activities, including at the State Elementary School, Pamulang, Barat, shifted to online domains. Whatsapp was consequently the initial means of engaging the students, but eventually appeared relatively monotonous and boring. This community service intends to provide a quality learning resource on the creation of video contents, using Filmora and Youtube applications. Ultimately, the overall goal is to produce highly creative and innovative teachers. These materials were delivered using sound or captivating animations. Consequently, teachers were sufficiently equipped to generate interesting videos that potentially increase students’ interest and interaction during the online learning process.

Desa Randu is one of the Branch of Muhammadiyah which quite progressive in Kecamatan Subah, but most of the school development in Kecamatan Subah not welldeveloped yet.In order to fulfill the need, so it necessary to held a training and teaching practices in Microteaching that conditioned as the active learning to the teacher especially the private teachers (Muhammadiyah) with the materials designed by and for the teacher in Teaching and Learning Process.The method used to realizationing this program is in form of training to design PAIKEM Learning (Active, innovative, creative, effective, and exciting) for teacherin SMP Darul Hijrah Desa Randu, Kecamatan Subah Kabupaten Batang.After training, the teacher feel the benefit of participative learning model alsothey feel happy about the training.

Abstrak : Keberhasilan suatu proses belajar mengajar dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat dua faktor yang mendominasi yaitu model pembelajaran dan motivasi yang dimiliki siswa saat belajar. Dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran yang tepat akan membuat kegiatan belajar mengajar lebih menarik sehingga menarik rasa ingin tahu siswa untuk belajar. Rasa ingin tahu merupakan motivasi alami yang dimiliki oleh siswa, sehingga mereka tertarik untuk mengikuti proses pembelajaran. Dalam penelitian ini model yang akan digunakan adalah Problem Based Learning atau dikenal dengan Problem Based Learning (PBL). Model pembelajaran ini berorientasi pada siswa, dimana guru akan memberikan objek permasalahan yang berkaitan dengan materi dan siswa akan diminta untuk menganalisis penyelesaian masalah tersebut dengan menggali berbagai informasi baik dari buku, internet ataupun hasil siswa. Sedangkan guru hanya berperan sebagai fasilitator dan mengarahkan siswa. Tujuan dari artikel review ini adalah (1) untuk mengkaji model Problem Based Learning (2) mempelajari hasil belajar (3) untuk mengkaji model Problem Based Learning dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar. Abstract: The success of a teaching and learning process is influenced by various factors. In this study, there are two factors that dominate, namely the learning model and the motivation that students have when learning. By applying the right learning model, it will make teaching and learning activities more interesting so that it attracts students' curiosity to learn. Curiosity is a natural motivation possessed by students, so they are interested in participating in the learning process. In this study, the model to be used is Problem Based Learning or known as Problem Based Learning (PBL). This learning model is oriented towards students, where the teacher will provide an object of problems related to the material and students will be asked to analyze the resolution of the problem by exploring a variety of information both from books, the internet or students' results. Whereas the teacher only acts as a facilitator and directs students. The purpose of this review article is (1) to examine the Problem Based Learning model (2) to study the learning outcomes (3) to examine the Problem Based Learning model in improving learning outcomes.

Education is a conscious and planned effort organized by school institutions to guide and train learners to grow awareness about the existence of life and the ability to solve every problem of life that always arises. It is reminded that teaching and learning activities are held in order to provide students with learning experiences. Selection of learning models used by teachers in delivering taught material can affect learning outcomes. One model of cooperative learning is Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model. The TGT learning model is a group learning model that involves student activity with an exchange of thoughts or ideas constructing knowledge amongst students in groups when getting assigned. This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK) or Classroom Action Research is a research that is intended to provide information on how appropriate action to improve teachers' ability and student activeness. The results of the implementation of the first cycle of action I have achieved the classical indicator that has reached 62.5% students score above 70 and the results in cycle II reach 92% students score above 70.

The method used in this classroom action research is qualitative analysis methods, which essentially emphasizes the depiction of business matters related to increasing the activity and learning outcomes of didik.secara depth. The research process started in March until May 2015, the number of samples of 32 people from class XI IPS 1 SMAN 11 Banjarmasin. The results showed that: (1) Activities Teacher for teaching and learning activities using problem-based learning model is considered good and aktif.2. The individual activities rated active power. Seen from the score of the acquisition activity of students in the learning process activity both the first cycle and the second cycle by 3.28 with active classification. 3. Activities group rated active power. The first cycle of activity lasted quite active, with the acquisition of the average score for the group Peta (2.8), Seinendan (3.4), Keibodan (3.2), Heiho (3.0) and Hokokai (3.2). The second cycle there is an increase in the activity of a group of 3 groups of fairly active, namely Map (3.4), Keibodan (3.6) and Heiho (3.6) and two active groups that Seinendan (4.0), Hokokai (4,0) , 4. An increase in student learning outcomes in which the thoroughness of 53.13 increased 40.62 points to 93.75. The increase also in terms of the number of students who complete the first cycle of 17 to 30 people in the second cycle, meaning there was an additional 13 people.Keywords: learning, learning activities, results learning, problem based learning model, history

This research was conducted in class IX G MTs Negeri 1 Kota Serang with 28 students, nine male students, and 19 female students in the 1st semester of the 2015-2016 academic year. The stages are planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting in each cycle, and this research was completed in two cycles. The research data obtained through observations by researchers is data on the results of learning the skills of passing big ball games obtained through performance from the psychomotor domain. Data analysis in this study used descriptive analysis using percentage techniques to see trends that occur in learning activities. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model in improving basketball passing skills in the IX class of Penjas Orkes subjects at MTs Negeri 1 Kota Serang semester 1 of the 2015-2016 academic year. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model can improve basketball passing skills in the IX class of Penjas Orkes subjects at MTs Negeri 1 Kota Serang in the 2015-2016 academic year, where learning outcomes in the initial conditions are 67.86% or 19 students, at the end of the first cycle it became 78.57% or 22 students. Atat the end of the second cycle, it became 92.86% or 26 students.

This research aims to increase the learning outcomes of students and the activity of students and teacher by applying Discovery Learning Model. The classroom action research conducted using two cycles. Each cycle consists of 2 meetings.        This study also equipped with teacher activities and student activities, which are assessed using observation sheets while teaching and learning activities take place in class. Activities of students and teacher assessed by the observer. The results obtained, in test I, in the first cycle, 72% of students have achieved completeness, and fall into enough category. While in test 2, in the second cycle, 92% of students have achieved completeness, and fall into the very good predicate. The average learning activieties of students from the first cycle is 74% with enough category and the second cycle with an average of 96% is in the very good category. The average activities of teacher from the first cycle was 77,6% with a good category and the second cycle with an average of 97,5% is in the very good category. Based on the results of the research, it could be concluded that the implementation of the Discovery Learning Model can improve the activity and learning result of students of class VII A MTs Negeri 2 Bengkalis.
