The repair steel onself for splits is pricey, time disbursement and gets to be arduous in blocked off regions. A self mending bioremediation procedure consolidating spar quick microorganism has been projected among the show take into consideration which could operate the arrangement to this issue. The being spar precipitation will naturally recuperate the smaller scale splits and pores inside the concrete and avoid the broadening of splits. this could cause the thrifty of costs and times went through for maintenance and avoid the subsequent misfortune in quality and solidness of concrete. The concentration of true bacteria Megatherium 10^5cfu/ml and salt were introduced in auxiliary concrete to comprehend the right concentration of microbes. the quality of the foremost elevated review of being concrete had progressed as compared to the foremost reduced review due to the classification of the component. The cogitate has been created to assess the impact on mechanical and toughness properties of M35 review concrete created with substitution of cement with quarry clean ( third,15%,20% and, twenty five and 30%) for each set mechanical property wear examined by liberal arts compression check for 3d shapes, flexural check for bars at that quality ar progressing to be reached thereon result able to embrace the true bacteria Megaterum and at the instant another time discover out the compression take a look at for 3d shapes, flexural check for bars. being spar precipitation was evaluated utilizing associate X-ray diffraction investigation visualized by filtering research and analyzed by vitality dispersive spectroscope. it had been found that the right concentration of B.megaterium had a positive impact on quality auxiliary concrete.

Background The increasing awareness and diagnosis of dementia in Africa necessitate documentation of caregiving practices to understand local patterns and improve the quality of care. Caregiving in African communities is rooted in informal-communal social organization. This scoping review analyses caregiver characteristics and experiences, and practices of caregiving for persons living with dementia in Africa. Methods A total of 152 references were retrieved, with 64 references obtained from PubMed, 85 from AJOL, and three from Scopus. Based on the relevance of titles, 83 references were further retained from PubMed (64), AJOL (16), and Scopus (3). A rapid review of abstracts was done in Distiller SR, and finally, six relevant articles were content-analyzed using Atlas ti 8.4 qualitative analysis software. Results All six included studies were published between 2003 and 2018. Four themes were identified: article characteristics, caregiver characteristics, caregiver in context, and caregiver potentialities (challenges and opportunities). Studies reported findings from research conducted in four African countries: three from Nigeria, and one each from South Africa, Egypt, and Tanzania. Caregivers of persons living with dementia typically had eight years or less of formal education, were unpaid, and spent a daily average of 13 hours in caregiving. Cultural thresholds and individual caregiver differences underlie the interpretation of stressors across cultures. Caregivers lack the right training and information as well as support systems to improve their role performance and reduce accumulated stress. Conclusion In African countries, informational and educational platforms are essential for improved individual dementia caregiving, vis-à-vis strengthened roles of governments, and religious/traditional leaders and organizations.

The right to play is crucial for the overall development of children. Several studies highlight the need to have time and space to play, especially at school where children spend much of their time. Unfortunately, in formal education the obsession with academic achievements sidelines and ignores the importance of play. The neglection of play had already reached a critical stage before the pandemic, so data are needed to realize how the right to play in school is presently affected. This paper aims to understand children’s play experience in primary education during the pandemic. It investigates what activities children participated in and what materials were used, and provides insight into the social interactions between peers. Furthermore, children’s quality of life is explored. A group of 370 Portuguese children answered a questionnaire on play and social interactions, alongside with Peds 4.0TM on health-related quality of life (HRQOL). The results showed that recess still emerges as a significant element of children’s daily lives, but COVID-19 has brought limitations on play experiences and peer-interaction. It might also have impacted HRQOL, especially in emotional functioning. Since play, health and well-being are closely connected, play opportunities at school are crucial in helping children to thrive in the pandemic, and should be invested in.

IntroductionTackling substandard maternity care in health facilities requires engaging women’s perspectives in strategies to improve outcomes. This study aims to provide insights in the perspectives of women with severe maternal morbidity on preparedness, access and quality of care in Zanzibar’s referral hospital.MethodsIn a prospective cohort from April 2017 to December 2018, we performed semistructured interviews with women who experienced maternal near-miss complications and matched controls. These focused on sociodemographic and obstetric characteristics, perceived accessibility to and quality of facility care with 15 domains, scored on a one-to-five scale. Participants’ comments and answers to open questions were employed to illustrate quantitative outcomes. Zanzibar’s Medical Research and Ethics Committee approved the study (ZAMREC/0002/JUN/17).ResultsWe included 174 cases and 151 controls. Compared with controls, patients with a near-miss had less formal education (p=0.049), perceived their wealth as poor (p=0.002) and had a stillbirth more often (p<0.001). Many experienced a delay in deciding to seek care. More than controls, near-miss patients experienced barriers in reaching care (p=0.049), often of financial nature (13.8% vs 4.0%). Quality of care was perceived as high, with means above 3 out of 5, in 14 out of 15 domains. One-fifth had an overall suboptimal experience, mostly regarding informed choice and supplies availability. Additional comments were expressed by a minority of participants.ConclusionMost patients promptly sought, accessed and received maternity care in Zanzibar’s referral hospital. A minority experienced barriers, mostly financial, in reaching care and more so among patients with near-miss complications. Quality of facility care was generally highly rated. However, some reported insightful critical perceptions. This study highlights the impact of sociodemographic differences on health, the value of involving patients in decisions regarding maternity care and the need to ensure availability of medical supplies, all which will contribute to improved maternal well-being.

A comprehensive model of the telecommuting adoption process, incorporating employer and employee perspectives, is developed. A probabilistic modeling approach is taken. The employer decision to offer a telecommuting program is modeled as a function of motivations and constraints and of the perceived impacts of telecommuting on the organization's productivity and costs. The employee decision to adopt telecommuting is modeled as a function of motivations and constraints as well as of the impact of the program on lifestyle quality, work-related costs, and income. The results indicate that telecommuting has a significant potential to increase productivity and improve lifestyle quality, if the right program is designed for the right employee. The potential of telecommuting to reduce organization and employee work-related costs is perceived to be limited. An overall negative perception about the potential impact on productivity and lifestyle quality of telework center–based telecommuting programs is identified, pointing to a need for further research to assess the market for telework centers.

Introduction: Chronic inflammatory bowel disease is a chronic lifelong disease with various triggers, intermediate longer and shorter remissions. Parents need to know what kind of nutrition the child with chronic inflammatory bowel disease needs because they must be able to make the right decisions regarding the child‘s diet. The right choice of diet gives a child enough energy in their daily and enables the quality life. They must enjoy a healthy balanced diet so that they receive all the nutrients the body needs. In our work, we presented chronic inflammatory bowel disease in children and parents’ assessment of the child’s quality of life. Methods: We chose a quantitative methodology to establish the impact of diet on the quality of life of the child with chronic inflammatory bowel disease. To describe and define the problem, we used a descriptive method. A structured measurement instrument was based on a review of the relevant foreign and domestic literature. Statistical data analysis was performed using descriptive and inferential statistics. Data were collected by a non-random and occasional sampling survey. Results: We found that most children whose parents participated in this research have Crohn’s disease (n = 20; 50%) and ulcerative colitis (n = 16; 40%). The type of food that is harmful to the child is fatty food (n = 33; 83%), followed by spicy food (n = 32; 80%) and acidic food (n = 10; 25%). According to the parents’ assessment, children with chronic inflammatory bowel disease have good (n = 22; 55%) health. We found that physicians provide parents with the most necessary nutrition information. Through evaluation of the parents, we found that there is no statistically significant correlation between the general assessment of a child’s health and the type of chronic inflammatory bowel disease (X² (2) = 5.925, p = 0.052). Also, there is no statistically significant correlation between the eating pattern and parents ’assessment of their child’s quality of life (U = 38.00, p. = 1.00). Discussion: The health care providers have an important role to play in giving appropriate information to parents to ensure the quality of life of the child. She teaches parents and children about living with chronic inflammatory bowel disease and emphasizes the importance of nutrition, which greatly contributes to a better quality of life.
