Lhokseumawe city is the capital of Lhokseumawe City Government as well as the center of trade activities, education and social and culture which every day passed throught by the traffic flow from the surrounding areas. As a result of several potential intersections would be conflict and prone jammed. One of the conflict-prone locations is at the intersection of Jalan Merdeka Barat -Jaya Sakti. This conflict cousted by no traffic signs provided there geometric condition of intersection is not standard, so that during the rush hours tends to be congestion. In connection to these problems, this study tried to analyze performance of the intersection as traffic management solutions to overcome bottlenecks in the area of Jalan Merdeka Barat intersection. Survey data acquisition in the third crossing arm were done by recording the movement of traffic with a handy cam records for 3 days, during rush hours in the morning, afternoon and evening. The results of the analysis method on the condition of existing HCM 2000, the amount of delay on the Eastern arm 19.75 ses/smp, located at the level of service C, the delay arm west and south 30.76 sec/smp, located at the level peleyanan D. Alternative approach road widening the Jalan Jaya Jaya Sakti to 7 meters and Jalan Merdeka Barat to 14 meters, 4-lane 2-way use can reduce the median performace of intersection. Keywords: intersection fermormance, traffic flow, capacity, degree of saturation

In civil engineering, particularly in the field of traffic engineering, it was possible to measure traffic performance by way of surveying the traffic flow, velocity, and density. The current traffic survey is commonly conducted by surveyor who manually calculates the movement of mode of transportation using traffic counter and survey form. Such method was definitely way too costly and time consuming in rendering the traffic data. Therefore, this study aims was to create application design products for technology retrieval and vehicle traffic count calculations, as well as traffic behavior analysis. This research was used Research and Development (R & D) method. The data accuracy was maintained through check and control to make sure that the inputted data were precisely the same with the results of the display on the application. This application called PRIFACOUNTER that can be operated personally in android OS hand phone. On the basis of the research, it was revealed that some variables and steps in the application concept were definitely needed to determine traffic behavior consisting of traffic flow, capacity, and degree of saturation. Since anyone can use this application, it will reduce the time in order to analyze the traffic performance.

he phenomenon of the increasing number of Malioboro tourists every year raises traffic problems in the area. Starting from congestion, increasing vehicle exhaust emissions, to increasing side friction. This has put pressure on the Yogyakarta city government to plan to improve traffic management by transforming the Malioboro area into a pedestrianized area. This application has an impact on significant changes in traffic flow on roads around the Malioboro area. This study will simulate a traffic flow scenario on roads around Malioboro using VISSIM software to determine the saturation level of the flow and the resulting emissions.

Planned special events (PSEs) attract more people than usual to specific areas, which leads to increased traffic flows and congestions on the roads. Roadwork zones are among the most vulnerable areas on the roads, where increased traffic can lead to congestion. In roadwork zones, the vehicle flow capacity is already lower than in the conventional situations without roadworks, but at the time of PSEs, these zones become difficult to pass if no attention is paid to the change of the traffic management scheme. This kind of events poses many threats for road authorities, thus, new traffic management systems should be considered. This paper analyzes 2 PSEs and one national celebration in Lithuania and a significant impact they have on the regular traffic flow. PSEs are taken into consideration as they attract traffic to a known place; however, national celebrations distort traffic along all roads and it is not known exactly, which roads will be congested the most. Since roadwork zones cause congestion problems even in conventional situations, this paper presents traffic capacity calculations at these road stretches during PSEs and considers how they change depending on the traffic management scheme.

Present experience shows that it is impossible to solve the problem of traffic congestion without intelligent transport systems. Traffic management in many cities uses the data of detectors installed at controlled intersections. Further, to assess the traffic situation, the data on the traffic flow rate and its concentration are compared. Latest scientific studies propose a transition from spatial to temporal concentration. Therefore, the purpose of this work is to establish the regularities of the influence of traffic flow concentration in time on traffic flow rate at controlled city intersections. The methodological basis of this study was a systemic approach. Theoretical and experimental studies were based on the existing provisions of system analysis, traffic flow theory, experiment planning, impulses, probabilities, and mathematical statistics. Experimental data were obtained and processed using modern equipment and software: Traficam video detectors, SPECTR traffic light controller, Traficam Data Tool, SPECTR 2.0, AutoCad 2017, and STATISTICA 10. In the course of this study, the authors analyzed the dynamics of changes in the level of motorization, the structure of the motor vehicle fleet, and the dynamics of changes in the number of controlled intersections. As a result of theoretical studies, a hypothesis was put forward that the investigated process is described by a two-factor quadratic multiplicative model. Experimental studies determined the parameters of the developed model depending on the directions of traffic flow, and confirmed its adequacy according to Fisher’s criterion with a probability of at least 0.9. The results obtained can be used to control traffic flows at controlled city intersections.

Dendang Melayu Beach is a public beach that is being developed by the Batam City Government. Although various efforts have been made by the government to increase the number of visitors to this beach, it turns out that the number of visitors has not necessarily increased consistently but fluctuated up and down. Therefore, this research was carried out to further explore the behavior of visitors in the hope that it could become a material evaluation of the government in developing this tourist attraction. This study aims to examine the effect of consumer behavior on the selection of Dendang Melayu Beach tourist attractions. The respondents of this study were 100 tourists who visited the Batam Dendang Beach. The data analysis method used is inductive statistics using multiple linear regression. The results of this study are the four variables of consumer behavior namely cultural, social, personal and psychological factors partially positive and significant effect on the choice of tourist attractions.

The highway is one of the infrastructure for the smooth traffic. One part of the road that are considered necessary to be analyzed and evaluated is an intersection. Three Gadut intersection is non signalized intersection. The traffic flow is quite dense, and lack of discipline of road user factors competing space to pass the crossing, resulting in congestion is very influential on traffic conditions at peak hours in the morning, afternoon and evening. Prior to conducting the survey, the first to do is survey the condition of the intersection that includes geometric characteristics and traffic volume. From the analysis of environmental data, side friction factor to the junction of three Gadut is the criteria being. Rated capacity (C) the smallest is 3706.3 smp/hour, the degree of saturation of 1.1 smp/hour. This value is over the limit permitted values manually indonesian road capacity of 0.8 to 0.9 (1.1> 0.9), it is concluded that the traffic flow is the crossroads of three Gadut saturated traffic flow. The queue probability value between 128.8% - 157.4% with a total delay largest average 11.57 seconds/smp. It is concluded that the chances of a queue at the intersection of three Gadut very large, so it could cause congestion.

Abstract: Traffic analysis plays an important role in a transportation system for traffic management. Traffic analysis system using computer vision project paper proposes the video based data for vehicle detection and counting systems based on the computer vision. In most Transportation Systems cameras are installed in fixed locations. Vehicle detection is the most important requirement in traffic analysis part. Vehicle detection, tracking, classification and counting is very useful for people and government for traffic flow, highway monitoring, traffic planning. Vehicle analysis will supply with information about traffic flow, traffic summit times on road. The motivation of visual object detection is to track the vehicle position and then tracking in successive frames is to detect and connect target vehicles for frames. Recognising vehicles in an ongoing video is useful for traffic analysis. Recognizing what kind of vehicle in an ongoing video is helpful for traffic analysing. this system can classify the vehicle into bicycle, bus, truck, car and motorcycle. In this system I have used a video-based vehicle counting method in a highway traffic video capture using cctv camera. Project presents the analysis of tracking-by-detection approach which includes detection by YOLO(You Only Look Once) and tracking by SORT(simple online and realtime tracking) algorithm. Keywords: Vehicle detection, Vehicle tracking, Vehicle counting, YOLO, SORT, Analysis, Kalman filter, Hungarian algorithm.
