The Ukrainian industry is a strategically important industry that retains the potential to contribute to the rapid development of the national economy. At the same time, this potential can be realized only choosing an innovation vector of the nearest future of the industry. Together with the activation of innovation activity, industrial entrepreneurs face the problem of the fund scarcity, high risks and outdated approaches to the conduct and organization of activities. In these terms, the authors of the article propose to investigate the organizational and economic potential of joint engagement of venture business and reengineering of business processes in the marketing sphere of industrial enterprises. It is marketing activity of industrial enterprises, which is recommended by the authors as the most effective for operative adaptation of the company to radical transformations in outer business-environment. Being in the tight connection with a customer (existing and potential) and its requirements, marketing activity is able to define strategic directions of company development and to implement new regulars of business in everyday company’s activity. Thus, the study analyses organizational principles of venture activity and reengineering business-processes in marketing activity, the relationship between these areas in the organization of innovation activities and common approaches to the development of strategic programs for the development of industrial enterprises under the conditions of sharp transformations in the external business environment. Reengineering business-processes in marketing activity is presented as an innovation, which could be engaged through venture capital, and in the same time, this innovation is able to carry out radical transformations in its organization and business-activity principle. The transformations should be carried out to ensure further effective use of engaged investments and to develop effective innovation activity. Key words: industrial enterprise, venture activities, marketing activities, re-engineering, business process, organization, resource, strategy, business environment.

A common way to represent organizational domains is the use of business process models. A Workflow-net (WF-net) is an application of Petri Nets (with additional rules) that model business process behavior. However, the use of WF-nets to model business processes has some shortcomings. In particular, no rules exist beyond the general constraints of WF-nets to guide the mapping of an actual process into a net. Syntactically correct WF-nets may provide meaningful models of how organizations conduct their business processes. Moreover, the processes represented by these nets may not be feasible to execute or reach their business goals when executed. In this paper, the authors propose a set of rules for mapping the domain in which a process operates into a WF-net, which they derived by attaching ontological semantics to WF-nets. The rules guide the construction of WF-nets, which are meaningful in that their nodes and transitions are directly related to the modeled (business) domains. Furthermore, the proposed semantics imposes on the process models constraints that guide the development of valid process models, namely, models that assure that the process can accomplish its goal when executed.

Nowadays tracking data from activity checkpoints of unit transactions within an organization’s business processes becomes an important data resource for business analysts and decision-makers to provide essential strategic and tactical business information. In the context of business process-oriented solutions, business-activity monitoring (BAM) architecture has been predicted as a major issue in the near future of the business-intelligence area. On the other hand, there is a huge potential for optimization of processes in today’s industrial manufacturing. Important targets of improvement are production efficiency and product quality. Optimization is a complex task. A plethora of data that stems from numerical control and monitoring systems must be accessed, correlations in the information must be recognized, and rules that lead to improvement must be identified. In this chapter we envision the vertical integration of technical processes and control data with business processes and enterprise resource data. As concrete steps, we derive an activity warehouse model based on BAM requirements. We analyze different perspectives based on the requirements, such as business process management, key performance indication, process and state based-workflow management, and macro- and micro-level data. As a concrete outcome we define a meta-model for business processes with respect to monitoring. The implementation shows that data stored in an activity warehouse is able to efficiently monitor business processes in real-time and provides a better real-time visibility of business processes.

The article discusses the option of modelling a business process using a logistics concept to optimise costs. The issues of influence on the formation of the model, the concept of optimising transport costs, and the costs of inventory management, in terms of production and economic efficiency, are considered. The mathematical and economic model of a typical business process is shown as a formed economic paradigm that materialises the process of conceptual integration of technological and logistic approaches in the process of implementing critical business processes of the company's current activities. The article also touches upon the issues of calculating logistics costs, both in the context of their points of origin, that is, by functional areas, and general accounting in the context of each business process. The options for calculating this category of costs are considered, in the general flow of both material and financial resources of a separate business process. From the standpoint of a logistic approach to managing the total operating costs of key business processes, options for a comprehensive study of the impact of logistics costs on the general operating activities of the company are analysed. The methodology for constructing a mathematical-economic model of a typical business process is described, taking into account the factors of influence of logistics concepts. Practical use of this methodology in real economic conditions is considered, and recommendations are given for adapting the methodology to specific parameters of the subject of the economic system. The proposed model outlines the fundamental approaches to the mathematically verified analysis of vital economic parameters that characterise the fluid nature of the economic components of the modern free market. The stated methodology, while not claiming to be complete coverage of the issues presented, nevertheless assumes the possibility of practical implementation of simulation modelling, economically crucial for current operational activities, fundamental business processes.

The process approach considers medical activity as a set chain of actions (or processes). The result of such activities should be the achievement of a certain clinical and economic result. The adoption of a process approach implies the introduction of new approaches in the management system, when the process of providing services to the consumer is based on. To optimize the established business processes in a medical institution, it is necessary to solve several tasks at once: design a model for the future process, algorithmize the actions of all participants in the process, develop requirements and standards for the new process, and introduce innovations in two main areas: social and medical-technological. The implementation of all the above actions will allow you to subsequently perform competent reengineering and adapt current processes to new conditions. After that, you can proceed to implementation in the updated structure of information systems. Reengineering, as a method of innovation management, refers to the innovation process aimed at creating new products and new operations, as well as their application, promotion and distribution. Given that the ultimate goal of reengineering is innovation, reengineering in the best sense is the reengineering of innovation. Reengineering is an engineering and consulting service for the restructuring of business activities based on the production and implementation of innovations. According to the definition of the founders of reengineering M. hammer and D. Champi business process reengineering (BPR - Business Process Reengineering) is "a fundamental rethinking and radical redesign of business processes to achieve concrete improvements in the company's core performance indicators." The goal of BPR is a systematic reorganization of material, financial and information flows aimed at simplifying the organizational structure, reallocating and minimizing the use of various resources, reducing the time required to meet customer needs, and improving the quality of their service. Thus, we are talking about creating completely new business goals using the latest advances in information technology

In recent years, business process re-engineering has played an important role in the development of large-scale web-based applications. To re-engineer business processes, business services are developed and coordinated by reusing a set of open APIs and services on the internet. Yet, the number of services on the internet has grown drastically, making it difficult for them to be discovered to support the changing business goals. One major challenge is therefore to search for a suitable service that matches a specific business goal from a large number of available services in an efficient and effective manner. To address this challenge, this paper proposes a deep learning approach for massive service discovery. The approach, thus called MassRAFF, employs a combination of the recurrent attention and feature fusion methods. This paper first presents the MassRAFF approach and then reports on an experiment for evaluating this approach. The experimental results show that the MassRAFF approach has performed reasonably well and has potential to be improved further in future work.

The research task is the improvement of scientific principles and development of a methodical approach to the modelling of enterprises’ development scenarios that apply business process reengineering in order to increase the level of competitiveness. The urgency of the research. The relevance of further researches is determined by the fact that the practical implementation of scientific approaches in Ukraine has not become popular, and the aspects of business process reengineering have been implemented only fragmentarily. Target setting. The development and discussions of procedural, systemic, and synergetic approaches to enterprise development have determined the concept of business process reengineering. Therefore, the further development of methodical principles for the realization of business process reengineering in the practice of business management is urgent and relevant. Uninvestigated parts of general matters defining. The justification of the expediency of using the tools for business process reengineering through the modelling of the future results at Ukrainian enterprises requires further scientific development. Materials and methods. The historical-evolutionary method was used to investigate the essence and origin of the category of reengineering and to distinguish its main features. By means of analysis and synthesis, the conceptual bases of business processes reengineering are determined. Implementation of complex, systemic, and synergetic approaches as a basis for application of business process reengineering allowed developing a modelling methodology for forecasting scenarios of the level of competitiveness of a business unit. The application of a systematic approach is reflected in the consideration of the impact of external and internal factors on the enterprise, complex factor – in combination of factors with the criteria of the enterprises managing that are able to compete in the world market, as well as the application of method at different levels – macro, meso, and micro. Methods of economic modelling and forecasting were used for forming a model of forecasting of the level of enterprise competitiveness. Results. The main features are segregated and a method for modelling of the results of its implementation is formulated. The algorithm of modelling of development scenario as a result of the application of reengineering is developed. A model for predicting of the level of competitiveness for the Ukrainian economy is constructed as well. Practical implications. The brilliant examples of corporations that received the “second breath” as a result of the introduction and reengineering of processes were General Electric, Toyota and Chrysler, Kodak, Siemens Nixdorf Service, IBM Credit. The proposed methodological approach can be applied by enterprises to predict the level of competitiveness of an enterprise as a result of the introduction of business process reengineering, depending on possible costs and target commodity output. Value/originality. Such a method of forecasting the competitiveness of an enterprise as a result of business process reengineering is important and can be used to predict the level of competitiveness at all levels of management.
