Abstract Poverty alleviation programs in Indonesia are the same and uniform in all regions. Of course this ignores the characteristics and causes of poverty that vary in each region. The uniformity of poverty alleviation programs affects the slow pace of decline in the poor population. Spatial influence on poverty can be identified by spatial autocorrelation; there is a relationship of poverty in one region with other regions that are closed together. This study was aimed to analyzing poverty spatial distribution in all regencies/cities in Indonesia; analyzing the spatial distribution patterns of poverty in all regencies/cities in Indonesia; and knowing local spatial autocorrelation of poverty in all regencies/cities in Indonesia. The research methods used are Moran Index analysis, Moran’s scatterplot analysis, and Local Indicators of Spatial Autocorrelation (LISA) analysis. The analysis results show that the highest average of poor population percentage was in Papua and the lowest one was in Kalimantan. The results of analysis of Moran Index showed that the spatial distribution pattern of poverty in regencies/cities in Indonesia was clustered, it was called by poverty pocket. Pockets of poverty that occured do not correspond to government administrative boundaries, therefore poverty alleviation needs an integrative approach.  In addition, this study also results that not all regencies/cities have significant spatial autocorrelation. This means that not all poverty conditions in a regencies/cities have a relationship with other regencies/cities. The fact that there are heterogeneity of poverty characteristics like this shows that poverty alleviation programs must vary in each regency/city.   Keywords: City, LISA, Moran, Povety, Regency, Spatial

ABSTRACTBandung has the highest case of dengue fever in West Java, which is 3134 cases in 2014. The spread of dengue fever can be analyzed spatially by spatial autocorrelation to find out the correlation relationship pattern between locations. The method of spatial autocorrelation was using the Moran Index method. From these methods can determine the relationship of spatial autocorrelation in the spread of dengue fever and determine spatial distribution pattern of dengue fever in Bandung. The results of spatial autocorrelation analysis shows the spatial autocorrelation in dengue hemorrhagic cases in Bandung, the one-way significance test indicates a positive autocorrelation in Dengue hemorrhagic cases in Bandung and spatial distribution pattern is the spatial distribution pattern of the cluster.Kata kunci: spatial autocorrelation, spatial pattern, Moran Index, dengue fever.ABSTRAKKota Bandung merupakan kota yang mempunyai kasus penyakit demam berdarah tertinggi di Jawa Barat yang berjumlah 3134 kasus pada tahun 2014. Sebaran penyakit demam berdarah dapat dianalisis secara spasial yaitu dengan autokorelasi spasial untuk mengetahui pola hubungan korelasi antar lokasi. Metode autokorelasi spasial yang digunakan adalah metode Indeks Moran. Dari metode tersebut dapat menentukan hubungan autokorelasi spasial dalam penyebaran penyakit demam berdarah dan menentukan pola sebaran spasial penyakit demam berdarah di Kota Bandung. Dari hasil analisis autokorelasi spasial menunjukan terdapat autokorelasi spasial pada kasus demam berdarah dengue di Kota Bandung, uji signifikansi satu arah menunjukan adanya autokorelasi positif pada kasus demam berdarah Dengue di Kota Bandung dan pola sebaran spasial dihasilkan adalah pola spasial sebaran cluster.Keywords: Autokorelasi Spasial, Pola Spasial, Indeks Moran, demam berdarah.

The destructive fishing feared will give a negative impact on the survival of this organism. This study aims to analyze the density of bivalves, distribution patterns, and to analyze the relationship of bivalves with environmental parameters in Tanjung Pura village. This research was conducted in March 2019. The systematic random system method was used for collecting data of bivalves. The collecting Data retrieval divided into five research stasions. The results obtained 6 types of bivalves from 3 families and the total is 115 individuals. The highest bivalve density is 4.56 ind / m², and the lowest bivalves are located at station 2,1.56 ind / m²,  The pattern of bivalve distribution in the Coastal of Tanjung Pura Village is grouping. The results of principal component analysis (PCA) showed that Anadara granosa species was positively correlated with TSS r = 0.890, Dosinia contusa, Anomalocardia squamosa, Mererix meretrix, Placamen isabellina, and Tellinella spengleri were positively correlated with currents r = 0.933.

This paper discusses the spatial distribution patterns of the various species of the Unionid mussels as functions of their respective life-cycle characteristics. Computer simulations identify two life-cycle characteristics as major factors governing the abundance of a species, namely the movement range of their fish hosts and the success rate of the parasitic larval glochidia in finding fish hosts. Core mussels species have fish hosts with large movement range to disperse the parasitic larval glochidia to achieve high levels of abundance. Species associated with fish host of limited movement range require high success rate of finding fish host to achieve at least an intermediate level of abundance. Species with low success rate of finding fish hosts coupled with fish hosts having limited movement range exhibit satellite species characteristics, namely rare in numbers and sparse in distributions.

This article studies the cognitive features of the “power” frame and its gender implementation in the historical tragedy by W. Shakespeare “Macbeth”. Here, the author examines the concepts of “frame” and “gender” in linguistics, studying different approaches to their definition. The relevance of this work is determined by the close attention of the contemporary linguistics to these concepts, as well as their place in the contemporary academic paradigm. The academic affirmation of the “frame” and “gender” concepts designates a new step in understanding the ways and peculiarities of the language interaction, consciousness, and culture, and, consequently, it shows new aspects of the relationship of linguistics with other sciences. Nevertheless, the problems of both frame and gender are not yet fully understood. This study allows describing in detail the essence of the frame “power” and showing its meaning, use, and ways of its gender implementation in fiction, which explains the novelty of this article. The study’s methodology is based on the cognitive-discursive analysis of the text, as well as on an integrative approach to the discourse study, which combines methods of both cognitive and gender linguistics, as well as the discourse analysis. Common research methods were used along with private linguistic methods. The application of cognitive-discursive analysis has significantly increased the depth of understanding of the “power” frame that dominates Shakespeare’s historical tragedy. This historical text presents the central theme of political tragedy: the overthrow of the rightful ruler and the usurpation of power. The motive for the seizure of power forms a thematic core and is presented from the usurpers’ point of view. In this article, the author observes the gender shift and duality of the female and male beginnings: Shakespeare puts the female protagonist, hungry for power, among men, thus the images of Lady Macbeth and her husband come into conflict with the gender characteristics attributed to them. The play clearly traces the main idea of Machiavellianism: the goal justifies the means. The results conclude that the “power” frame is the leading one in Lady Macbeth’s monologue, thus setting one of the main themes of this tragedy.

AbstractA detailed knowledge on the spatial distribution of pests is crucial for predicting population outbreaks or developing control strategies and sustainable management plans. The diamondback moth, Plutella xylostella, is one of the most destructive pests of cruciferous crops worldwide. Despite the abundant research on the species’s ecology, little is known about the spatio-temporal pattern of P. xylostella in an agricultural landscape. Therefore, in this study, the spatial distribution of P. xylostella was characterized to assess the effect of landscape elements in a fine-scale agricultural landscape by geostatistical analysis. The P. xylostella adults captured by pheromone-baited traps showed a seasonal pattern of population fluctuation from October 2015 to September 2017, with a marked peak in spring, suggesting that mild temperatures, 15–25 °C, are favorable for P. xylostella. Geostatistics (GS) correlograms fitted with spherical and Gaussian models showed an aggregated distribution in 21 of the 47 cases interpolation contour maps. This result highlighted that spatial distribution of P. xylostella was not limited to the Brassica vegetable field, but presence was the highest there. Nevertheless, population aggregations also showed a seasonal variation associated with the growing stage of host plants. GS model analysis showed higher abundances in cruciferous fields than in any other patches of the landscape, indicating a strong host plant dependency. We demonstrate that Brassica vegetables distribution and growth stage, have dominant impacts on the spatial distribution of P. xylostella in a fine-scale landscape. This work clarified the spatio-temporal dynamic and distribution patterns of P. xylostella in an agricultural landscape, and the distribution model developed by geostatistical analysis can provide a scientific basis for precise targeting and localized control of P. xylostella.

Precipitation is an essential climate variable in the hydrologic cycle. Its abnormal change would have a serious impact on the social economy, ecological development and life safety. In recent decades, many studies about extreme precipitation have been performed on spatio-temporal variation patterns under global changes; little research has been conducted on the regionality and persistence, which tend to be more destructive. This study defines extreme precipitation events by percentile method, then applies the spatio-temporal scanning model (STSM) and the local spatial autocorrelation model (LSAM) to explore the spatio-temporal aggregation characteristics of extreme precipitation, taking China in July as a case. The study result showed that the STSM with the LSAM can effectively detect the spatio-temporal accumulation areas. The extreme precipitation events of China in July 2016 have a significant spatio-temporal aggregation characteristic. From the spatial perspective, China’s summer extreme precipitation spatio-temporal clusters are mainly distributed in eastern China and northern China, such as Dongting Lake plain, the Circum-Bohai Sea region, Gansu, and Xinjiang. From the temporal perspective, the spatio-temporal clusters of extreme precipitation are mainly distributed in July, and its occurrence was delayed with an increase in latitude, except for in Xinjiang, where extreme precipitation events often take place earlier and persist longer.
