This research conducted to see the position of the husband in a traditional Pariaman marriage known as a Bajapuik marriage. Pariaman is a part of the Minangkabau region, which had opted for the matrilineal system, which affects customary marriages, namely, after marriage, some rights and obligations of the husband are more controlled by the mamak (chiefs who come from the wife's family). This study uses qualitative research in a field research system (Field Research) with an anthropological (ethnographic) approach. The subject of this study leads to key informants that researcher chooser and only (random) based on specific criteria and categories that can describe condition subjectively in the field. The findings of this study indicate that Bajapuik marriage affects the position of the husband in the family. The husband's position in family decisions only an input because the husband is considered a newcomer. The findings of this study reinforce the opinion of Poloma, an action someone will get social sanctions that is along with the times the husband's position began to shift as well as mamak. Mamak is no longer able to carry out her role all rights and obligations are handed over to her husband as well as her husband, who had previously had no burden in providing for his wife and children, bécame an obligation.

Nafkah merupakan salah satu daripada hak isteri yang perlu ditunaikan. Hukum ini telah termaktub di dalam Al-Quran dan sebagaimana yang diketahui oleh semua muslim, salah satu kewajiban seorang suami itu adalah menyediakan nafkah buat isterinya baik dalam  tempoh  perkawinan  maupun  pasca perceraian.  Namun,  mutakhir  ini,  banyak kasus yang melibatkan perilaku suami yang mengabaikan nafkah isteri pasca perceraian. Bahagian Sokongan Keluarga (BSK) merupakan pihak berwenang yang mampu mengatasi dengan sebaik mungkin segala permasalahan berkaitan dengan pemberian nafkah. BSK memberi peluang kepada mantan isteri untuk membuat tuntutan nafkah jika suami gagal atau enggan membayar nafkah sekaligus mengembalikan hak isteri. Pertanyaan yang diajukan dalam permasalahan ini adalah bagaimana peran BSK dalam menjamin terpenuhinya  nafkah isteri pasca perceraian dan bagaimana efektifitasnya (BSK) terhadap masalah penegakan nafkah isteri pasca perceraian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang peran (BSK) dalam masalah pemenuhan nafkah isteri pasca perceraian. Penelitian dalam skripsi ini adalah yuridis empiris yaitu kajian lapangan (field research) dan yuridis normatif yaitu kajian kepustakaan (library research). Adapun Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan penulis dalam skripsi ini adalah observasi, wawancara dan telaah dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh, bahwa peran BSK dalam masalah pemenuhan nafkah isteri pasca perceraian berjalan secara efektif karena BSK memantau dan menangani masalah ketidakpatuhan mantan suami terhadap perintah nafkah Mahkamah Syariah melalui pembentukan Unit Khidmat Nasehat dan Perundangan, Unit Penguatkuasaan dan Pelaksanaan Perintah dan Unit Pengurusan Dana. Keberadaan BSK telah menjadi tempat rujukan dan   memberikan bantuan kepada mantan isteri. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, dapat difahami bahwa pokok permasalahan dalam penyelesaian masalah pengabaian nafkah apabila mantan suami memahami  hal  berkaitan  agama  Islam  serta  mengetahui  hak  dan  tanggung  jawab terhadap isteri pasca perceraian.Kata Kunci: Bahagian Sokongan Keluarga (BSK) dan Nafkah Isteri Pasca Penceraian Living in one of the rights of wives that need to be shown. This law has been contained in the Koran and as it is known by all Muslims, one of the obligations of a husband is to provide a living for his wife both in the period of marriage or post-divorce. However, these cutting-edge, many cases involve the behavior of husbands who neglect the living wives post-divorce. The Family Support Division (BSK) is the authority who can cope with the best possible problems relating to the provision of the living. BSK allows the former wife to make a living claim if the husband fails or refuses to pay the living while returning the right of the wife. The question posed in this issue was the role of BSK in guaranteeing the fulfillment of the postpartum wife and how effectiveness (BSK) has been to the problem of establishing a divorce post. The study aims to find out about the role (BSK) in the issue of fulfilling wives after divorce. The research in this thesis was empirical, i.e. field research and normative juridical (library research) study. The methods of data collection used by the authors in this thesis are observations, interviews and documentation study. The results of the research obtained, that the role of BSK in the problem of fulfillment of wives post-divorce runs effectively because BSK monitors and addresses the problem of non-compliance of ex-husband against the order of Sharia court The establishment of the Advisory and Legal Unit, enforcement Unit and the execution of the Order and fund Management unit. The existence of BSK has been a referral place and provides relief to the former wife. Based on this, it can be understood that the subject matter in solving the issue of living if the former husband understands the matter related to Islam and knows the rights and responsibilities of the post-divorce wife.

The method used qualitative research methods case study type. This qualitative study using this type of case research strategy. Riduwan (2005) suggested Qualitative Methods is a research method that is used to examine the condition of scientific objects, where the researcher is a key instrument. Qualitative research uses the natural environment as a data source directly. Situation good education within the family, school, and community, as it is (naturally) without any changes and intervention by the researcher, is the object of qualitative research. Silalahi (2003: 62) and Sudjana and Ibrahim (2001: 69-71) argues the case study are (a) a study that will involve us in a more in-depth investigation and a thorough examination of the behavior of an individual, (b) research on the background rear and conditions of individuals, groups, or communities with the aim to provide a complete picture of the subject or event under study, and (c) a study conducted intensive, detailed and in-depth on the organism, institution or certain symptoms. This case study is used as the subject under study narrow and limited. The results of the research that students Studies Program PGSD FKIP Muhammadiyah University of Palangkaraya year class of 2012 perform individual tasks and task groups is seen that the ability to teach students, especially in terms of confidence, dare to appear, the sound loud and clear and the characters / characteristic that has not been fully owned also less able to control the situation and condition of class.

Ethnomathematics is the relationship between culture and mathematics found in society's habits, where people have unconsciously applied mathematical concepts in their culture or habits. The custom referred to in this study is what is done by batik in making one batik sheet every time. The purpose of this study was to describe ethnomathematics on cassava leaves in the production house Daweea Batik Bondowoso East Java. This research is qualitative research with an ethnographic approach. The subject of this study was the craftsmen in the Daweea Bondowoso Batik production house. Data collection methods used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The observation was carried out by the researcher himself and assisted by two observers who were provided with observation guidelines. Interviews were conducted to artisans in Daweea Bondowoso batik production house, while the documentation was carried out by the researcher himself using a camera recorder. The results of this study indicate the existence of ethnomathematics in cassava leaves batik painting. Geometry concepts or elements found include points, lines, angles, flat shapes (rectangles, squares), congruence, concordance, equations, and geometric transformations (dilation).

<p><em>Peresean is the traditional art of the Sasak people who fight two men (pepadu) by using weapons from rattan sticks and shields. This research uses a qualitative research method with an ethnographic approach. The results of this study indicate that the shift in the meaning of masculinity in society has been influenced by the times and changes that occur in society. In addition, the development of media and science is increasingly advanced. Where once the public interpreted men as masculine when in the art of performing a man could win the fight. At that time men have their own pride, prestige, unmatched men and dare to defeat the enemy. But now the meaning of masculinity has shifted, the masculine meaning for society that a man looks masculine in the arena of battle if he is able to control emotions during the game, able to play sportsmanship, not revenge after the fight ends, and able to establish friendship between players.</em></p><p><strong><em>Keywords:</em></strong><strong> </strong><em>Masculinity; Tradition; Peresean.</em><strong></strong></p><h2> </h2><p><strong>Abstrak</strong></p><p>Peresean adalah kesenian tradisional masyarakat Suku Sasak yang mempertarungkan dua laki-laki (pepadu) dengan memakai senjata dari tongkat rotan dan perisai. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan hahwa pergeseran makna maskulinitas pada masyarakat telah dipengaruhi oleh perkembangan zaman dan perubahan yang terjadi di masyarakat. Selain itu paekembangan media dan ilmu pengetahuan yang makin maju. Dimana dulu masyarakat memaknai laki-laki terlihat maskulin ketika dalam seni pertunjukan peresean seorang laki-laki dapat memenangkan pertarungan. Saat itu laki-laki memiliki kebanggaan tersendiri, prestise, laki-laki tanpa tanding dan berani mengalahkan musuh. Namun sekarang ini makna maskulinitas mengalami pergeseran, makna maskulin bagi masyarakat bahwa seorang laki-laki terlihat maskulin dalam arena pertarungan peresean jika mampu mengontrol emosi selama pertandingan, mampu bermain secara sportifitas, tidak dendam setelah pertarungan berakhir, dan mampu menjalin silaturahmi antar pemain.</p><p><strong>Kata kunci : </strong>Maskulinitas; Tradisi<em>; Peresean.</em><strong><em></em></strong></p><p><strong><em> </em></strong></p>

Abstract: This study aims to explore and analyze the principal's management in improving the quality of education at MAS Thawalib Tanjung Limau. The approach used in this research is qualitative research approach by using field research type (field research). The subject of the study was the principal at MAS Thawalib Tanjung Limau. Data collection is done through observation, interview and documentation study. The analyst technique used is as follows: (1). Data reduction, (2). Presentation of data, (3). After the data is compiled and then drawn conclusions in the form of matrices and narratives. The results show that with good management, there is a quality improvement in MAS Thawalib Tanjung Limau, this is proven, with many events that have been successfully implemented in order to improve the quality, such as camps and provincial and provincial silat martial arts ever held at MAS Thawalib Tanjung Limau.

Cultural diversity in Indonesia is something that cannot be denied, which is caused by the geographical conditions of the Indonesian territory. The continuity and development of local culture needs to be preserved and avoided from obstacles. This study aims to determine: 1). Form of liang erong, especially the people of Tana Toraja. 2). The meaning of the carvings of each type of liang erong, especially the Tana Toraja people. This type of research is qualitative research with an ethnographic approach. The data in this study were taken by means of observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed: 1) The forms of Erong burrows found in the Tana Toraja area consisted of boats, mortar, buffalo and pigs. Differences in shape, size, cover form, decoration and orientation are strongly influenced by factors of belief, social stratification, mass and natural conditions around them. 2) The meaning of the erong carvings as a sign of hope for the ancestors, a sign that a person is smart and wise, a sign of courage, nobility and nobility, an appreciation, a meaning as a warning to society, a sign that symbolizes wealth or glory, the meaning that to link property to the house must be in an honest way and need cooperation within the family or community, meaning as a symbol of the greatness of the Toraja nobility. The findings of this study can help the development of disciplines in the field of cultural geography and as an inventory of existing national cultures, especially the diversity of symbolic meanings of erong.

ABSTRACTThis paper aims to find out the form of the tradition of tinilo pa’ita present at the ceremony commemoratingthe 40th day of someone’s death because currently the tradition of tinilo pa’ita is fairly difficult to find inits community. This study uses qualitative research methods using an ethnographic approach by Spradleyto understand a culture from the point of view of their owners of culture. Tinilo pa’ita is a tradition inthe form of chants. Tinilo Pa’ita is present in the tradition of wopato pulu huyi. This song containsan apology for the person who has died, advice to the family left behind to remain patient and sincere,advice to the other peolple who is left to always remember death and always carry out the religious ordersadopted by the community, namely Islam. In its implementation, tinilo pa’ita attended several stagesof the wopato pulu huyi ceremony. The presence of tinilo pa’ita in Gorontalo society can only be foundduring the wopato pulu huyi because, the community believes this song can only be sung when it is sideby side with the tomb that will be delivered to the tomb. Tinilo Pa’ita hadir dalam tradisi wopato pulu huyi.Nyanyian ini berisi permohonan maaf atas orang yang telah meninggal, nasihat kepada keluargayang ditinggalkan agar tetap sabar dan ikhlas, nasehat kepada handaitaulan yang ditinggalkanuntuk selalu mengingat kematian dan senantiasa menjalankan perintah agama yang dianutoleh masyarakat yakni agama Islam. Dalam pelaksanaanya, tinilo pa’ita hadir dalam beberapatahapan pelaksanaan upacara wopato pulu huyi. Kehadiran tinilo pa’ita dalam masyarakatGorontalo hanya dapat dijumpai saat wopato pulu huyi sebab, masyarakat percaya nyanyianini hanya bisa dilantunkan pada saat berdampingan dengan nisan yang akan diantarkan kemakam. Hingga saat ini tradisi tinilo pa’ita masih terus dilaksanakan meskipun hanya padadaerah-daerah tertentu saja.Kata Kunci: Tradisi Lisan, Tinilo Pa’ita, Upacara Pemakaman

This research is focused on the subject of boredom in the families during the stay-at-home process forced by coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic. The literature on boredom was reviewed, and then the qualitative research was designed with the open-ended questions appropriate for the subject and purpose. The research was conducted between April 20 and 29, 2020, in Istanbul, Turkey, with the participation of 264 families. The most significant findings of the research showed that family members accustomed to active life experienced boredom more during the stay-at-home process, they utilized information technologies very often to overcome boredom, the importance of time spent at home increased, involuntary behaviors such as overeating and snacking became common, the livelihood difficulties and fear of unemployment increased boredom, nevertheless, no conflict occurred between the family members, and the process taught to be patient and strong.

The Ifugao farming families are partners in safeguarding the sustainable use of naturalresources through their continued conservation of the rice terraces. However, in recent years ithas been observed that many Ifugao children coming from families whose main livelihood isfarming no longer participate and involve themselves in farming activities.  A number of familymembers migrate to urban places and some who have been educated totally abandon theirfarming duties and roles. The objectives of this study are: to determine the involvement offamilies in farming particularly in areas which farming has been the primary source of incomeand explore how farming families can contribute to safeguarding the sustainable use of naturalresources. Conversational method was used for this study wherein key informants andmembers of the farming families were interviewed.  The data were analyzed using thematicanalysis guided by the Indigenous perspective. A number of thematic insights emerged showingthe strong involvement of the different family members in the various farming activities. Thefamily members are involved in farming through the different roles they play, the resourcesthey contribute, and the honor they bring to the family. Ethnomatics are cultural practices related to mathematical activities such as grouping, counting, calculating, designing buildings or tools, determining locations. This research was conducted at the Soponyono Dome Company, Wirolegi, Jember. The purpose of this study is to describe ethnomatematics in the manufacture of stainless steel mosque domes and produce student worksheets. This research is a type of qualitative research with ethnographic approach. Data collection methods used are observation, interviews and documentation. The subjects of this research are the owner of the company and four dome craftsmen. Geometry concepts or elements found include: congruent, flat shapes (rectangle, irregular hexagon, circle segment, trapezoid), space structures (cylinder, truncated ball, cone, and truncated cone), geometrical transformations (dilatation), and mathematical activity (measuring activity, counting activity, and design activity). The results of the study were made as worksheet material for Grade IX students with the subject of constructing curved side spaces of tube and cone material.   Keywords: Ethnomatematics, Mosque Dome, Student Worksheet.
