This paper aims to give a comprehensive account of the border management in Indonesia through the challenges faced by the CIQS (Customs, Immigration, Quarantine, and Security) and offered strategies to curb the challenges. The cross-border activities potentially bring the illegal movement to both the people and the goods. Indonesia, as an archipelagic country, should build border management and border control policies that able to overcome those challenges with the Coordinated Border Management (CBM) strategy. This study uses qualitative methodology with a descriptive analysis through document analysis of government reports, journal articles, or any related documents. This research uses SWOT Analysis by observing the internal and external aspects of border agencies in Indonesia, especially the Directorate General of Immigration (DGI). This paper affirmed that immigration and border control policy in Indonesia should be reassessed and updated to comply with the rapid development of globalization, suit the national interest, and use the CBM approach strategy to secure the border effectively.

The purposes of this research are to validate the potential of superior natural resources and human resources in the tourism development of education based on Tri Hita Karana (THK) in Mengesta in Bali, to establish the centers of educational tourism, to form groups of community that supports the educational tourism based on THK, and to design media promotion. The method designed to achieve the targets are analysis, design, evaluation, and revision. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and interviews and analyzed using SWOT analysis and descriptive analysis. The results of this research show that there are seven learning resources that have been successfully validated, namely: dance and percussion forum, natural agricultural laboratory, Bali traditional house, agriculture training center, tracking, natural panorama and hot water bathing place, and culinary tour. The understanding and commitment of the people about educational tourism based on THK fall into good categories. Moreover, the media promotion has been successfully designed, which are in the form of art forum brochure, village tourism brochure, and a draft of guide book to educational tourism based on THK.

The research aimed to discover (1) the characteristics of the types of business of fishermen community in the settlement of Bajo Tribe in Bajoe Village, (2) the availability and the condition of facilities and infrastructures which supported the business activity of fishermen households in the settlement of Bajo Tribe in Bajoe Village, (3) the strategies which could be done to develop fishermen home based business in the settlement of Bajo Tribe in Bajoe Village. The research employed descriptive qualitative method. The targets of the research were Bajo Tribe community who opened home based business. The data were collected through observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The data were processed and analyzed by using descriptive analysis and SWOT analysis. The result of the research showed that (1) the characteristics of the types of fishermen home based business in the settlement of Bajo Tribe were dominated by business with sea products raw materials such as sea cucumber drying, fish, and shrimp drying as well as restaurants which the raw materials came from inside the settlement area and which the raw materials were not from sea products such as groceries seling, cakes and drink making, and services such as beauty shop; (2) the facilities and infrastructures which supported home based business activities in the settlement of Bajo Tribe were not yet fulfilled. To process the sea products, the product rooms were not yet available, the marketing was only to sell to regular customers, and the infrastructures for settlement garbage and waste were not yet available in all of the segments so it could not support home based business activities; (3) the strategies which could be done to developed home based business of fishermen households in the settlement of Bajo Tribe were by making the settlement area of Bajo Tribe as the center area of sea products processing so it would be better known by the people, developing the settlement of Bajo Tribe by managing the environment and making stalls as well as places to process the sea products so it could become the sales center of souvenirs of Bajo Tribe.

The art of carving, known as carving, or decoration with various flora, fauna, figurative and even geometric motifs which is an ornate image with some parts being concave and some parts convex both horizontally and vertically and elliptically arranged in a very beautiful image. (Study of Cultural Anthropology)(1) The carvings, which are known in the works of Decorative Arts, still survive and are in demand and are found in various areas such as the Biak Numfor Islands, Yapen Islands, Waropen Wondama Bay and various other areas that are included in the Kuripasai cultural family, Mananarmakeri, and Sairei. A special highlight in this writing is the carving motifs that are still practiced by carving craftsmen in Woinap Village, Wonawa District, Yapen Islands Regency, where until now there are very few carvers. This carving motif was inspired by the legend of "Suandei" by Drs. Frits Maurid Kirihio, alumni of the University of Leyden, the Netherlands, in the 1950s, who was recorded in the book “Dongen Tanah Kita,(2) Descriptive analysis method is a method used to analyze data by describing or describing the data that has been collected as it is without intending to make conclusions that apply to generalization or generalization, Sugiyono (2014:21)(3) Excellence Carving motifs based on beliefs that have been practiced so far in the village of Woinap, Yapen Islands Regency. or skulls, all of which are manifested and the decorations that are usually displayed on family tools such as boats, wooden pans (sempe) art tools (tifa) net buoys, all take symbolic or philosophical meanings from their original form.(4) The indigenous people of Woinap are a community categorized as living in the outermost area of ​​the Yap . However, it cannot be separated from local wisdom techniques that are often adopted from neighboring areas which are more innovative in people's lifestyles because culture is dynamic and always moves with the times, so the people of Woinap also move with the habit of living with the times by way of -a new way that is still considered cultural even though indigenous cultural values ​​have been eroded.(5) The cultural heritage of the Papuan people in the saireri strait region, especially the unique carving art of the Woinap community, has an economic potential that can bring ecotourism and increase the PAD of the Islands district government Yapen.(6)

Kota semarang salah satu penghasil batik yang berkualitas namun belum dikenal banyak masyarakat indonesia. Dampak kurangnya faktor produksi mengakibatkan daya saing Batik Semarang kurang berkembang atau kurang dikenal banyak masyarakat. Penelitian ini mengkaji dampak kurangnya faktor produksi terhadap daya saing. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis dampak kurangnya faktor produksi terhadap daya saing dan bagaimana pengaruh faktor produksi terhadap daya saing. Populasi penelitian ini sebanyak 36 industri Batik Semarangan. Analisis data digunakan analisis deskriptif, analisis SWOT dan analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian ini menganalisis dampak kurangnya faktor produksi terhadap daya saing yang menunjukkan bahwah diperlukan strategi yang sesuai untuk pengembangan daya saing  batik Semarangan untuk mengoptimalkan pengelolahan produksi batik semarangan dan juga memperluas persaingan batik di daerah lain. Pengaruh signifikan faktor produksi SDM terhadap daya saing, faktor produksi Bahan baku ada pengaruh signifikan terhadap daya saing dan faktor produksi modal tidak  ada pengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap daya saing. Saran yang diberikan dari penelitian ini yaitu para pembatik harus mempertahankan kualitas produk batik dan meningkatkan kualitas tenga kerja. Pemilik usaha seharusnya lebih banyak mengikuti pameran-pameran dari pemerintah dan instansi lainya  terutama pameran yang di luar Kota Semarang agar Batik Semarangan dapat dikenal masyarakat luar Kota Semarang.. The impact of the lack of competitiveness of production factors resulted a less developed or less known of Batik Semarang to many people. This study examines the impact of the lack of production factors on competitiveness. The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of the lack of production factors on competitiveness and how the influence of production factors on competitiveness. The population of this study were 36 Batik Semarangan industries.Analysis is used descriptive analysis, SWOT analysis and regression analysis. The results of this study are to analyze the impact of the lack of production factors on competitiveness that shows that required an appropriate strategy for the development of competitiveness Batik Semarangan to optimize management production Batik Semarangan and also expanding batik competition in other areas. Significant influence of human resources production factors on the competitiveness, there is a significant effect of raw materials production factors on the competitiveness and there is no significant influence of production factors of capital on the competitiveness. The advice given from this study is the batik maker must maintain the quality of their product and improve the quality of worker. Business owners should attend a lot of exhibitions under government’s belt and other agencies, especially the exhibition outside Semarang, in order for Batik Semarangan can be known by the people outside Semarang.

Tourism is one of the major assets that can generate a fairly high source of foreign exchange for the country. Therefore, every area that has certain tourism objects requires regular and sustainable tourism development so that people can take advantage of the existence of tourist destinations in the area. As with the tourism object of the Land of Fairy tales in the area of Kawedusan Ponggok Village, Blitar Regency. The design of this tour is entitled the miniature garden of the wonders of the world which is interesting to visit as a vehicle for education for children. The community can use this as a learning medium and it will have a broad impact on the people around this location to revive the economic sector. This research aims to; (1) Identifying the actual conditions of the current development aspects of the Land of Fairy Tales Tourism. (2) Identifying the influence of the tourism object of the Land of Tales as a vehicle for recreation on tourist visitors and the community around Kawedusan Ponggok Village. (3) Formulating a strategy to develop tourism objects in the Land of Tales as recreational vehicles based on the Tempoe Doeloe tourism park. The research method used by the author in this study is qualitative research and uses a descriptive analysis approach. The results of this study using SWOT analysis techniques can be concluded that the fairy tale tourism development strategy shows that the process of identifying relevant indicators is expected to be able to provide benefits in formulating a tourism development strategy for the Land of Tales in Blitar Regency. Through the formulation of a tourism strategy in a fairy tale country, it is hoped that it will be able to provide benefits to strengthening the  competitive bidding position of the concepts offered. It is hoped that this will also be able to provide benefits to strengthening the economic and social aspects of the community at large.

The distribution of unregistered Drugs and Foods during the 2015-2017 period—includingillegally imported Drugs and Food—dominates the findings in Drug and Food control,according to the inspection and investigation of Indonesia National Agency of Drug andFood Control (BPOM) and Directorate General of Customs and Excise (DGCE). This studyaims to determine stakeholder understanding and analysis in implementing BPOMRegulation No. 29 of 2017 and BPOM Regulation No. 30 of 2017. The qualitative methodwith Stakeholder Analysis is used as an analysis on data obtained through literature studiesand structural official interviews and executive officers at BPOM and DGCE. The resultsshow that the performance of BPOM Inspection & Certification Officer, BPOMInvestigator, and DGCE Law Enforcement Officer became Definitive Stakeholder ininfluencing the implementation of those regulations. Head of Division of BPOM Inspectionand Certification, Head of Division of BPOM Law Enforcement and Head of Division ofDGCE Law Enforcement proved to have enough team strength and authority to becomeDominant Stakeholders. Community, passanger, business actors, importers can becomeDangerous Stakeholders because they have personal and business interests if theregulations are not clear or consistent enough. It is necessary to form an integrated teambetween institutions in order to fight against the entry of illegally imported Drug and Food.

The theme of this study is how the strategy planning in optimizing market levy in Bantul Regency. During 2012-2015, the levy achievement always exceeded the market target, but based on the potential data from Kepala Seksi Pendapatan in Kantor Pengelolaan Pasar, the specified target is too low, so that, the market levy still has potential to be optimized. Therefore, the aim of this study is to formulate the strategy to optimize market levy in Bantul Regency.The data used in this study was obtained from employees of the Kantor Pengelolaan Pasar both in the field and administration sector, also traders in Bantul district markets. The data was obtained through a questionnaire distributed to 34 employees of Kantor Pengelolaan Pasar, and interviews with market traders. The analysis mehod used is descriptive analysis and SWOT analysis.Based on the SWOT analysis, it is obtained the strategies for optimizing market levy in quadrant III by reducing the weaknesses to rise the opportunities. The implementation of the strategy, by the Kantor Pengelolaan Pasar, firstly by committing traders data validity, which is continued by collecting in an integrated system, that is a book keeping system. The officer made the routine administration after collecting, and traders who often do not pay the levy (in arrears) are required to pay the levy directly to BPD DIY.

Abstrak. Desa Trusmi merupakan sentra batik sekaligus kuliner di Kabupaten Cirebon. Banyaknya pemegang usaha di bidang produksi batik mengakibatkan persaingan dagang diwilayah tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunities, Threats)  di salah satu usaha batik milik H. Edi Baredi atau sering dikenal dengan EB Batik Tradisional melalui inkuri terbimbing. Analisis meliputi profil usaha, aspek produksi, aspek tenaga kerja, aspek pemasaran dan aspek keuangan. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskripstif analisis. Berdasarkan analisis internal dan eksternal analisis SWOT, strategi yang  dilakukan oleh EB Batik Tradisional yaitu menghindari kehilangan penjualan dan profit yang disebabkan banyaknya persaingan dagang di kawasan sentra batik Trusmi dengan munculnya inovasi baru. Penguatan karakter pada produksi batiknya dapat mengatasi pesaingan dagang dan menambah daya tarik pembeli. Kata Kunci: SWOT, Inkuiri Terbimbing, dan Kegiatan Ekonomi Abstract. Trusmi village is a center of batik as well as culinary in Cirebon Regency. A large number of business holders in the field of batik production has resulted in trade competition in the region. This study aims to analyze SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunities, Threats) in one of the batik business owned by H. Edi Baredi or often known as EB Traditional Batik through guided injury. The analysis includes the business profile, production aspects, labor aspects, marketing aspects, and financial aspects. This type of research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis method. Based on internal and external analysis of the SWOT analysis, the strategy carried out by EB Traditional Batik is to avoid losing sales and profits due to the high level of trade competition in the Trusmi batik center area with the emergence of innovations. With the majority of the population working in agriculture, the economy of Khmer people is mainly agricultural. At present, the Khmer ethnic group has a workingstructure in the ideal age, but the number of young and healthy workers who have not been trained is still high and laborers lack knowledge and skills to do business. Labor productivity is still very low ... Problems in education quality, human resources; the transformation of traditional religion; effects of climate change; Cross-border relations of the people have always been and are of great interest and challenges to the development of the Khmer ethnic community. Identifying fundamental and urgent issues, forecasting the socio-economic trends in areas with large numbers of Khmer people living in the future will be the basis for the theory and practice for us to have. Solutions in the development and implementation of policies for Khmer compatriots suitable and effective.

The utilization of e-commerce media in the trading world brings impact to the international community in general and the people of Indonesia in particular. For Indonesian people, This is related to a very important legal problem. The importance of law in the field of e-commerce is mainly in protecting the parties who transact through the Internet. The purpose of this study is to know the legal review of the buying and selling agreements through electronic media as well as to know the legal protections for sellers and buyers if one of the parties commits a default. The research uses a normative juridical method of approach and the discussion is done in a descriptive analysis. The source and type of data used are primary data and secondary data. While the data collection techniques using literature studies, and the data obtained will be analyzed qualitatively. The agreement to buy and sell through electronic media is a new phenomenon that has been implemented in various countries and regulated in the Civil state nor law ITE. Legal protection for the parties in the sale and purchase agreements through electronic media is governed by the consumer protection ACT. Any breach must respond to any loss arising from his or her actions.
