This study aims to obtain the optimum dose of manure for red dragon fruit plant growth on Andosol, optimum K fertilizer dose for red dragon fruit plant growth on Andosol, and the interaction of manure and K fertilizer for red dragon fruit plant growth on Andosol. This research was conducted from August 2018 to November 2018 at the Horticulture Seed Center, Kepahiang Regency, Bengkulu Province. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of two factors with three replications. The first factor is cow manure, which is 0 g/polybag, 20 g/polybag, 40 g/ polybag, and 60 g/polybag. The second factor is K fertilizer, which is 0 g/polybag, 1.38 g/polybag, 2.76 g/polybag, and 5.52 g/polybag. The results showed that the application of cow manure with a dose of 60 g/polybag resulted in the best shoot growth time and shoot fresh weight

Shallots (Allium cepa var. Aggregatum L) have many varieties that can be grown in the highlands and lowlands and one of them is the Batu Ijo variety. Nutrients N and K play an important role for plant needs. This research was conducted from March to June 2019 in Medan Baru, Bengkulu City. This study used a completely randomized design with two factors. The first factor was the dose of N fertilizer and the second factor was the application of K fertilizer. The application of N fertilizer had a significant effect on the number of shallots at week 2. The Urea dose given decreases the number of spring onions. For the best treatment at plant height is the treatment of Urea 300 kg/ha and KCl 50 kg/ha. Plant growth from week 2 to 5 increased significantly. The application of K fertilizer has an effect on the number of shallots at week 2 and the number of tubers. The higher the plant age, the more the number of leaves produced, but at higher doses, the number of leaves and the number of tubers decreased. The best treatment for the number of leaves produced was Urea 300 kg/ha and without giving KCl. For the best treatment of fresh plant weight, namely Urea 300 kg/ha and KCl 150 kg/ha, the best treatment fresh tuber weight was Urea 300 kg/ha and KCl 150 kg/ha, for tuber diameter the best treatment was 200 kg/ha of urea and KCl 100 kg/ha and for the number of tubers of Urea 0 kg/ha and KCl 150 kg/ha.Keywords: shallots, N fertilizer, K fertilizer

Abstrak.  Suatu penelitian telah dilakukan untuk mengetahui efek agitasi susu probiotik yang ditambahkan buah naga merah (Hylocereus Polyrhizus). Penelitian ini dilakukan di Laboratorium Ilmu dan Teknologi Pengolahan Susu Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Syiah Kuala pada tanggal 29 April - 31 Mei 2016. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) pola faktorial 2x4 dengan 3 kali ulangan yang terdiri dari 2 faktor, A, agitasi yaitu (A1) dan (A2) non agitasi. Dan faktor B yaitu konsentrasi buah naga merah (B1) 20%,  (B2) 25%,  B3 (30%) dan (B4) 35%. Parameter yang diamati adalah derajat keasaman (pH), total mikroba dan uji organoleptik. Hasil penelitian menunujukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang sangat nyata (P0,01) terhadap derajat keasaman (pH) dan berpengaruh nyata terhadap total mikroba (P0,05) serta terdapat interaksi antara kedua perlakuan. Sedangkan untuk uji organoleptik terdapat pengaruh yang sangat nyata (P0,01) terhadap kekentalan dan warna susu probiotik.  nilai derajat keasaman pH 4,03 - 4,11 dengan agitasi (pengadukan) masih sesuai dengan standar (SNI) 01-2981-1992. Sedangkan nilai total mikroba optimal terjadi pada penambahan buah naga sebanyak 30% baik agitasi maupun non agitasi. Effects of Milk Probiotic Agitation Added Red Dragon Fruit (Hylocereus Polyrhizus) on Sensory Test and Total Plate Coun Abstract.  A study about effects of milk probiotic agitation added red dragon fruit (Hylocereus Polyrhizus)  has been conducted to determine to test sensory and total plate count. This research was held at the Laboratory of Science and Milk Processing Technology, Agriculture Fakulty Syiah Kuala University on April 29 to May 31, 2016. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) 2x4 factorial design with three replications consisting of two factors, A, agitation (A1) and (A2) non agitation. And factor B is the concentration of red dragon fruit (B1) 20%, (B2) 25%, B3 (30%) and (B4) 35%. The observed parameter is the degree of acidity (pH), total microbial and organoleptic tests. The results of the study indicate that the there is a  highly significant influence (P 0,01) to the degree of acidity (pH) and total significantly affected the total microbial (P 0.05), and there is interaction between the two treatments. As for organoleptic tests are highly significant effect (P 0.01) the thickness and color of probiotic milk. acidity pH value of 4.03 to 4.11 with agitation (stirring) is still in accordance with the standard (SNI) 01-2981-1992. While the total value of optimal microbial occurred upon addition of dragon fruit by 30% both agitation and non agitation

THE EFFECT OF N-P-K FERTILIZER ON THE YIELD OF DRY MATTER AND CRUDE PROTEIN OF GRASS (Brachiaria humidicola cv. Tully and Pennisetum purpureum cv. Mott.). This research was done to evaluate the effect of macro elements N-P-K on the dry matter and crude protein yield of grass (Brachiaria humidicola cv. Tully and Pennisetum purpureum cv. Mott). The research used combination of N-P-K fertilizer. The treatments were arranged in factorial design based on the Completely Randomized Design with two factors, three treatments and four replications. The factor A was applied for testing different grass of Brachiaria humidicola cv. Tully (a1), and Pennisetum purpureum cv. Mott (a2). The factor B was fertilizer combination of N (b1), NP (b2), and NPK (b3). Variables observed were dry matter and crude protein. The results of variance analysis showed that treatment affected significantly (P <0.05) dry matter and crude protein. Application of factor A indicated that both grasses had positively response to the application of N-P-K fertilizer measured on the yield of dry matter and crude protein. ABSTRACT   This research was carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Pekanbaru, from April to July 2019.  The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the interaction and main fertilizer of Petroganik and Grand K on the growth and production of peanut plants. The method used was a Completely Randomized Design which consisted of two factors. The first factor was P (Petroganik) and the second factor was K (Grand-K), each of which consisted of 4 levels of treatment so that there were 16 treatment combinations. Each treatment consisted of 3 replications, so there were 48 experimental plots, consisting of 12 plants and 3 plants as observational samples with the total number was 576 plants. Data from the latest observations were analyzed by variance (ANOVA) and further tested with the significant difference in honesty (BNJ) at the 5% significant level. The results showed the interaction of Petroganik and Grand-K fertilizers significantly affected plant height, relative growth rate and weight of 100 seeds. The best combination of treatment in the application of Petroganic fertilizer was 81 g/plot and Grand K fertilizer was 14 g/plot (P3K2). The main effect of real Petroganik fertilizer on all parameters of observation with the best treatment was the application of Petroganic fertilizer as much as 81 g/plot (P3). The main effect of Grand K fertilizer was significant on all parameters observed with the best treatment was the application of Grand K fertilizer of 14 g/plot (K2).

Has conducted a study entitled " Cow Manure Waste Utilization and Straw Peanut For Liquid Bokashi For Plant Growth mustard (Brassica juncea L.)". This study aimed to analyze the nutrient content in the liquid Bokashi is derived from cow dung and straw peanuts, and study the effect of dosing Bokashi different liquid to the growth of the mustard plant (Brassica juncea L.). Methods using a completely randomized design with one factor at a dose of 125 ml, 250 ml, 375 ml and 500 ml, and as control using Bokashi solid. This research was conducted with four replications. Bokashi liquid nutrient content of C of 0,1045%, 0,0461% of N, P and K amounted to 0.0172% at 0.2500%. The content of nutrient dense Bokashi C of 6,0874%, 2,0169% of N, P and K amounted to 0,0218% at 5,7802%. Bokashi dosing different liquid to the growth of mustard (Brassica juncea L.) significant effect on the growth of mustard, but still lower than the solid Bokashi. Dose liquid Bokashi most optimal for growing mustard (Brassica juncea L.) is at 375 ml.

The objective of the research to know the effect liquid sediment coastal and cow manure on the growth and yield of shallot on peat soil and to know the best dosage can be increased on the yield of shallot. Research conducted at the research field of Faculty of Agriculture, the University of Tanjungpura on April to June 2016, using a completely randomized design factorial with two factors and each treatment combination was replicated three times. The first factor was LLC concentration levels (0.3; 0.6; 0.9 L plant-1). The second factor was cattle manure dosages (25; 50; 75 g plant-1). The research showed that there was an interaction between liquid sediment coastal and cow manure significantly improved the number of tillers, number of bulbs, and fresh weight of shallot. However, there was an interaction between liquid sediment coastal and cow manure and also the effect each treatment not significantly to plant height of shallot. The treatment of liquid sediment coastal 0,6 L plant-1 and cow manure 75 g plant-1 can improve the yield of shallot on peat soil.

Cow manure, different to other manures, has been frequently used as raw material of bokasi along with other organic waste materials such as sawdust, rice husk ash, and bran. This study aimed to utilize various livestock manures as one of the organic material in the production of bokasi. A completely randomized design with 2 replications was used in this study, which consisted of two factors: type of livestock manure (J) and proportion of livestock manure (P) of the total bokasi raw material.  Factor J consisted of 3 levels: J1 (cow manure), J2 (goats manure), and J3 (chicken manure), while factor P consisted of 4 levels: P1 (35%), P2 (45%), P3 (55%), and P4 (65%). Analysis of the bokasi quality included: total microorganisms, moisture content, pH, temperature, C element, N element N, C/N ratio, organoleptic  (texture, smell and color), and the plants growth (height) test. The results showed that the type of livestock manure (J) effected very significant on total microorganisms, C, N and C/N ratio of bokasi, as well as significant on plant height. Based on the results of the C, N and C/N ratio it was known that the best bokasi resulted by chicken manure. It met the standard of INS (Indonesian National Standard). The proportion of manure affected very significant on water content as well as significant on N and plant height.

The use of colorants in the dried noodle manufactures is an effort of product diversification. Besides of being used as a natural coloring agent, this peel extract is also used to improve nutritional value of the expected product. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of red dragon fruit peel extract on the physical quality of dried noodle.  The study was conducted by using Completely Randomized Design (CRD) method with one factor, namely concentration of red dragon fruit peel extract (N1 = 10 ml, N2 = 15 ml, N3 = 20 ml, N4 = 25 ml, N5 = 30 ml).  The observations of its physical quality consisted of water absorption, solid loss during cooking, and organoleptic tests (aroma and color).  The best quality of dried noodle was obtained by using 30 ml red dragon fruit peel extract (N5) with physical properties, namely DSA levels of 351.92%, solid loss during cooking 4.78%, aroma 3.79 (like) and color 3.89 (like).

Black grass jelly plants can be used as conservation plants. However, uret pests (Leucopholis rorida F.) are often complained that eat the base of the stems, flowers and roots at night. This study aims to determine: 1) the effect of M. anisopliae fungi on uret pests, (2) the level of susceptibility of uret pests, and (3) M. anisopliae fungal effectiveness on uret pests. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 5 replications. Data from the observations were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) with Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT) 5% test carried out when diversity analysis showed a real effect. Uret mortality monitoring will be carried out after the application of fungi. by observing each uret and calculating the amount of uret mortality and average plant growth. The highest percentage of second instar larvae from uret was found in treatment P4 (manure and fungi were incubated for 72 hours at the next temperature of 28 oC applied to the field with straw mulch) which was 82, 98% at 12 days after application of fungi. The average growth of plants consisting of: root length, root volume, stem diameter and number of shoots was also found in treatment P4 (manure and fungi were incubated for 72 hours at the next 28 oC, applied to the field with straw mulch), respectively amounting to 12.45; 5.70; 1.88; 12,15. Dead larvae emit fluids such as ethanol and their bodies are weak, then the body dries and hardens and stiffens, like mummies and fungi forming green sporulation. Keywords—: black grass jelly plants; Leucopholis rorida F;Metharhizium anisopliae; mortality;effectiveness

Abstrak.  Penelitian bertujuaan untuk mendapatkan isolat rizobakteri yang mampu berperan sebagai agens biokontrol terhadap pengendalian patogen R. microporus dan P. noxius secara in vitro serta sebagai agen rizobakteri pemacu pertumbuhan tanaman (RPPT). Penelitian dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Ilmu dan Teknologi Benih Jurusan Agroteknologi, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Syiah Kuala, Darussalam Banda Aceh, mulai Oktober sampai Desember 2017. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap non faktorial. Faktor yang diteliti yaitu isolat rizobakteri, taraf yang dicobakan terdiri dari 15 isolat dan dua patogen antagonis R. microporus dan P. noxius, yang diulang sebanyak 3 kali sehingga terdapat 90 unit satuan percobaan. Hasil penelitian menunujukkan isolat rizobakteri mampu menekan pertumbuhan koloni cendawan patogen. Pada patogen uji R. microporus terdapat 3 rizobakteri yang paling baik yaitu isolat DLG5/3 dengan persentase penghambatan 68,33%, DLG4/1 dengan persentase penghambatan 66,66% dan DLG4/7 dengan persentase penghambatan 63,33%. Pada patogen uji P.noxius terdapat dua rizobakteri yang paling baik dalam menghambat pertumbuhan koloni cendawan patogen yaitu isolat DLG5/1 dengan persentase penghambatan 60,33%, dan DKP6/3 dengan persentase penghambatan 52,50%. Pada laju penghambatan isolat rizobakteri yang paling baik pada patogen R. microporus yaitu isolat DLG6/4 dan DKP4/1 dengan nilai rerata laju penghambatan 20,33 mm/hari. Pada patogen P. noxius menunjukan isolat rizobakteri yang paling baik yaitu isolat DLG4/1 dengan nilai laju penghambatan 12,05 mm/hari.Exploration of Indigenous Rizobacteria and Antagonistic Test against Patogen Rigidoporus microporus And Phellinus noxius In Rubber Plant (Hevea brasiliensis) In VitroAbstract. The research was conducted to obtain rhizobacteria isolates capable of acting as biocontrol agents on pathogen control of R. microporus and P. noxius in vitro and as plant growth promoter rhizobacteria (PGPR). The research was conducted at the Science and Technology of seed Laboratory, Department of Agrotechnology, Faculty of Agriculture, Syiah Kuala University, Darussalam Banda Aceh, starts from October to December 2017. The research using Completely Randomized Design non factorial. Factors researched were rhizobacteria isolates, the experimental stage consisted of 15 isolates and 2 antagonist were R. microporus dan P. noxius, and 3 time repeated until be found 90 units of treatment. The results showed that rhizobacteria isolates capable to inhibith growth of colonies pathogenic. In the pathogen of R. microporus test, there are 3 better rhizobacteria were DLG5/3 isolate with 68.33% inhibition percentage, DLG4/1 with 66.66% inhibition percentage and DLG4/7 with 63,33% inhibition percentage. In the pathogen of P. noxius there are 2 best rhizobacteria inhibiting growth, DLG5/1 isolate with 60.33% inhibition percentage, and DKP6/3 with 52,50% inhibition percentage. In the pathogen of R. microporus test, there are 2 better rhizobacteria were DLG6/4 and DKP4/1 with 20,33 mm/day inhibition percentage. In the pathogen of P. noxius test,  the best rhizobacteria were DLG4/1  with 12,05 mm/day inhibition percentage.
