Character education in elementary school is a positive thing that can affect the character of students. Morality is used as science as the term in islam that character education is also called moral education. The foundation of character education is mentioned in the Ministry of Education and Culture’s regulation which is leaning on the Qur’an and Hadith. The Islamiceducation character of elementary school children is very important, as an effort to cultivate the students’ intelligence in thinking, acting and behaving in accordance with the noble values ​​that its’ become the identity, and can be realized in interaction with God, themselves, others and the environment as a manifestation. Schools are a strategic place for appear education character because the children of some circles will be educated at school. In addition, children spend most of their time at school, something they have been gotten in school will be affected the formation of their character. To realize a generation that has a strong character and strong faith and Islam, it is necessary to instill the values ​​of personality to the child. In this case, the role of educator is very important, especially when they were applying the teaching learning process to the students.To instill Islamic character education of elementary school, children need some methods that must be mastered by educators, such as exemplary, habituation, advice, attention (supervision), rewards and punishment. The educators can be given knowledge improvement, and can be internalized the spiritual values ​​to their students by using some methods.

Abstract: The negative impact of globalization is the increasingly worsening character of the younger generation. In overcoming the problem of demoralizing the younger generation, the Government of Indonesia issued a policy of strengthening character education. This study aims to describe (1) the implementation of character education to support strengthening character education(PPK) movement at elementary school Muhammadiyah 9 Malang. (2) supporting and inhibiting factors in the process of character education implementation in the context of supporting the PPK movement at elementary school Muhammadiyah 9 Malang. This research is a qualitative descriptive study, located at elementary school Muhammadiyah 9 Malang, with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation. The results showed that (1) the implementation of PPK policies in schools was not much different from the character education programs that had previously been implemented. Strengthening the character education that runs is to add a variety of character planting habituation programs, increase the hours of character habituation activities, increase student learning activities and intensify a variety of programs that are already running at school. Schools implement the PPK movement according to the Ministry of Education and Culture's reference with three basic approaches. (2) Supporting factors are none other than full support provided by all schools and parents of students while inhibiting factors faced by schools are none other than students themselves and there are parents of students.Keywords: Policy, Strengthening Character Education, Elementary Schools Abstrak: Dampak yang dihasilkan globalisasi secara negatif yaitu semakin memburuknya karakter generasi muda. Dalam mengatasi persoalan demoralisasi generasi muda Pemerintah Indonesia mengeluarkan kebijakan penguatan pendidikan karakter. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) implementasi pendidikan karakter dalam rangka mendukung gerakan PPK di SD Muhammadiyah 9 Malang. (2) faktor pendukung dan penghambat proses impelementasi pendidikan karakter dalam rangka mendukung gerakan PPK di SD Muhammadiyah 9 Malang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, bertempat di SD Muhammadiyah 9 Malang, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) implementasi kebijakan PPK di sekolah tidak jauh berbeda dengan program pendidikan karakter yang sebelumnya sudah dilaksanakan. Penguatan pendidikan karakter yang berjalan yaitu dengan menambah berbagai program pembiasaan penanaman karakter, menambah jam kegiatan pembiasaan karakter, menambah kegiatan pembelajaran siswa dan mengintensifkan berbagai program yang sudah berjalan di sekolah. Sekolah mengimplementasikan gerakan PPK sesuai acuan kemendikbud dengan tiga basis pendekatan. (2) Faktor pendukung tidak lain berupa dukungan penuh yang diberikan oleh seluruh pihak sekolah dan orang tua siswa, sedangkan faktor penghambat yang dihadapi sekolah tidak lain berasal dari para peserta didik sendiri dan ada dari orang tua siswa.Kata kunci: Kebijakan, Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter, Sekolah Dasar

This article aims to study the values contained in fasting education for elementary school students. The values of education are the value of religious education, the value of moral education, social education, and cultural education values. Fasting is a religious activity that people Islam as a form of obedience to His God in addition to other services. Ramadan fasting is a refrain from eating, drinking, and having sex and other things that make it clear that fasting will not rise from dawn until sunset during Ramadan. The current phenomenon is increasingly reduced worship activities, tepo seliro, gotong royong, mutual help, and attitudes other positive attitudes such as honesty, discipline, responsibility, and tolerant living in life. Ramadan fasting not only emphasizes refraining from eating and drinking only, but training in improving faith, mental coaching, morality, and understanding the meaning of difference. In elementary school, these grades need to be instilled as a cornerstone of students in their development, especially in the aspects of personality such as: character, behavior, responsibility, discipline, and social spirit.

The purpose of this study was to describe the learning system and the teachers' role in embedding the character education values in Elementary School Students. This study used a descriptive qualitative method. The data collection technique used is purposive sampling. The subject of this study was the students of Bayt Tamyiz Private Elementary School, Indramayu Regency. The data collection techniques in this study used in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The data validity techniques in this study were using source triangulation and structure triangulation. The results showed that the learning system implemented by Bayt Tamyiz Private Elementary School integrated through the components development program of the activities designed and adapted to the objectives of the schools. In this component, there was a teacher's role as the executor of the development of the activities program when the learning process was progressing both in the classroom and outside of the classroom so that the values of character education in the students are reflected in daily life. The implication of this study was to provide an overview of the learning system and the teachers' role in schools so that they could embed good character values in students in the learning process both inside and outside the classroom. Character education has a higher meaning than moral education, because character education is not only related to right and wrong problems, but how to instill habits (habituation) about things that are good in life, so that students have high awareness, sensitivity, and understanding , as well as concern and commitment to apply virtue in everyday life. Thus it can be said that a person with character is a person's nature in responding to situations in a moral way, manifested in real action through good behavior, honesty, sincerity, responsibility, respect for others and other noble character values. Therefore, as a teacher, it should be able to apply character education to the learning process. In this paper, the authors offer ideas or concepts in the preparation of a comprehensive character education based learning plan (RPP).

Education as one of futute investent, it will not mean anything if not accompanied bay contantly upgrading, development, innovation and continuous learning. One effort to archieve that goal is always to find and discover new breakthroughs in the learning process that impact on investment values and cultural character of the nation. Phenomena occuring in the field shows that the learning the art of music perfomed at the elementary school is still limited to memorizing and imitating the singing and showing no signs of learning meaningful and fun. So that the objectives and scope of learning the art of music has not been accommodated and still far from perfection. Based on phenomena mentioned above, we need a breakthrough/innovatioan to overcome these problems, so learning the art of music back to the learning objectives listed and curriculum. One effort that can be done is to enhance learning the art of music education based culture and national character. Learning the art of music which will be full application of the valus to develop personality of students given by integrating the values of culture and national character education into the step of learning the art of innovative music. So, the increase in musical arts education-based learning culture and national character can develop the culture and character of students. The purpose of this study was to find an integrative model of social care character in social science subjects in elementary schools using integrative moral knowledge, moral feelings, moral sinverbals, moral action, moral habitus and moral culture. The reality that happens is that students experience moral degradation so that they need the integration of character education in the learning process. The formulation of the research problem is how to model the integration of national character education in social science learning. The research method used qualitative methods with 10 informants consisting of the principal, teachers, students, parents. The data technique used interview, observation and documentation instruments, then the data were analyzed through data reduction, data display and verification. The paradigm used in the research is the moral education paradigm. The results of the research model of the integration of social caring character education consist of six moral levels, namely moral knowledge, moral feelings, moral synergy, moral action, moral habits and moral culture which are integrated with the values of social caring character in the learning process of social science.
