The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze whether human relations and communication have a positive and significant effect on employee performance through work ethic in Gowa Regency (review at the Pallangga, Bajeng, and Bontonompo sub-district offices). This type of research is explanatory research. Sampling was used in the census method with a sample of 91 respondents. Distributing questionnaires to respondents was as collecting data. Furthermore, the whole data is processed using SPSS 16.0 software. The results showed (1). Human relations have a positive and significant effect on work ethic in Gowa Regency: (2). Communication has a positive and significant impact on work ethic in Gowa Regency; (3). Human relations have a positive and significant impact on performance in Gowa Regency: (4). Work Communication has a positive and significant impact on performance in Gowa Regency; (5). Work ethic has a positive and significant impact on performance in Gowa Regency; (6). Human relations have a positive and insignificant influence on performance through work ethic in Gowa Regency; (7). Communication has a positive and significant impact on performance through work ethic in Gowa Regency.

This study aims to determine the effect of Situational Leadership and Work Ethics on Employee Performance through Organizational Climate as an Intervening Variable in Gowa Agricultural Development Polytechnic. The type of data used in this study is divided into two, namely qualitative and quantitative data. The population in this study were all State Civil Apparatus at the Gowa Agricultural Development Polytechnic, which until 2018 totaled 98 people. A sample of 98 employees based on the population. The sampling technique used is the nonprobability sampling method. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Data were analyzed using path analysis. The results of this study indicate that situational leadership has a positive and significant effect on organizational climate. The better the leader applies situational leadership, the better the climate for the organization will be and conducive. Good situational leadership will create a good organizational climate so that it will have an impact on increasing employee performance. Work ethic has a positive and significant effect on organizational climate. The better the work ethic that is owned by employees, it will support the creation of a good organizational climate. The better the work ethic that is owned by an employee it will lead to a good organizational climate, which has an impact on increasing employee performance.

This is a study on the effect of work culture, employee empowerment, librarianship training and work ethics on employee performance at National Library of Indonesia in Jakarta, Bung Karno Library in Blitar, and Bung Hatta Library in Bukit Tinggi. This was a quantitative research using path analysis. The sampling technique is simple random sampling and a representative samples of 124 librarians. The data were collected using a Likert-type structured questionaire and the validity was tested using the Pearson Product Moment test analysis and Reliability test using Cronbach Alpha test. The result showed that (1) Work culture, employee empowerment, librarianship training and work ethic have direct positive effects on performance; 2. Work culture and employee empowerment have direct positive effects on work ethic; and 3. Employee empowerment has no direct positive effects on work ethics. The study also shows the importance of policy and chief regulation to strengthen the work culture, librarians’ empowerment equaty, and enhancement librarianship training.

The influence of work ethics on employee performance is highly important.  Researches on work ethics have been widely dominated by protestant concept. There has been indeed contradictive sight on some researches related to religious alliances, but the work ethics of protestant is principally different from that of Islam. Islamic institution obviously applies Islamic work ethics. This research is aimed at analyzing the direct and indirect influence of Islamic work ethics on organizational commitment through job satisfaction. The present study adopted the quantitative approach and data collected by using questionnaires. Meanwhile, data analysis is used path anaysis.  The sample of the study consist of 70 respondents.  The result shows that Islamic work ethics has direct and indirect influence on organizational commitment. The indirect influence of Islamic work ethics on organizational commitment is lower than the direct one. Islamic work ethics can increase organizational commitment indirectly through job satisfaction. Meanwhile, the total indirect influence of Islamic work ethic on organizational commitment is smaller than the direct one. The managerial implication of the current research is that the principal should conduct an ongoing assessment on the work satisfaction of the teachers and employees in order to enhance their organizational commitment.

This study aims to determine how strong the influence of motivation, discipline, salary, and IWE (Islamic Work Ethic) on employee performance (a case study at Wanabiprint Digital Printing Salatiga). The method of data collection was done through distributing questionnaires to Wanabiprint employees. Samples were taken as many as 50 respondents. The results of the t test indicate that motivation has no effect on employee performance with a significance value of 0.305 > 0.05 and t count 1.038 < t table 2.014, discipline has no effect on employee performance with a significance value of 0.158 > 0.05 and t count 1.437 < t table 2.014, salary has no effect on employee performance with a significance value of 0.775 > 0.05 and t count 0.287 < t table 2.014, while IWE (Islamic Work Ethic) affects employee performance with a significance value of 0.00 < 0.05 and t count 4,580 > ttable 2,014. Furthermore, motivation, discipline, salary and IWE (Islamic Work Ethic) have a simultaneous effect on employee performance with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 and an f value of 18.050 > f table 2.57 on employee performance. So that these variables have an effect simultaneously.

Salemba Raya 28 A Jakarta, UPT Bung Karno Library in Blitar, and UPT Bung Hatta Library in Bukit Tinggi. The research approach is using quantitave method with path analysis. Sampling techniques is simple random sampling with a representative sample of 124 librarians. The data was collected through a Likert type structured questionaire toward variables. The next step is to test the validity by using the Pearson Product Moment test analysis and Realibility test by using Cronbach Alpha test and then the data was analyzed as requirement of statistic test; normality test error with Lilliefors, homogenity test and tests of significance and linearity of regression coefficients. The result such as: 1. Corporate culture, employee empowerment, librarianship training and work ethic has direct positive and significant effects towards performance. 2. Corporate culture and employee empowerment has direct positive and significant effects towards work ethic. 3. Employee empowerment has direct positive effects, but not significant to work ethics. Research implication showed the important of policy and chief regulatory about strengthen corporate culture, librarian empowerment equality and enhancement librarianship training. This study explores the behavior of employees work done by testing and analyzing the influence organizational culture, work ethic and employee’s performance with job satisfaction as a mediating variable. The population in this study was all employees who work in local government of Pinrang in South Sulawesi Province. There are 357 employees as a sample. We used Structural equation modeling (SEM) as research equipment. The result of this study provides evidence that the organizational culture and work ethic is proven to increase the perceived of employee job satisfaction. Good organizational culture and perceived of employee job satisfaction proven to improve employee performance. Results are shown in different work ethic in practice has not been able to improve the performance of employees. Perceived of employees job satisfaction proved able to act as a mediating variable in explaining the effect of organizational culture and work ethics on employee performance

ABSTRACTThis research addreses to determinate the effect of Islamic work ethics to employee performance and job satisfaction as an intervening variable in RS PKU Muhammadiyah Surakarta.The population in this study are all nurses RS PKU Muhammadiyah Surakarta totaling 258 nurses. The sampling tehnique used purposive sampling method and sample obtained 75 respondents. Data were analyzed using SPSS for Windows Release 20.0.The dependent variable (Y) of this research is employee performance. The independent variable (X) Islamic work ethic and for intervening variables (Z) is job satisfaction. This method used is quantitative research methods. For the method of data analysis self are using path analysis.The results of this showed that: (1) the work ethic Islam is influence positively significant for the employee performance. (2) Islamic work ethics influenced positively significant effect on job satisfaction. (3) Job satisfaction has a positively significant on employee performance. (4) The Islamic work ethic influenced toward employee performance by means job satisfaction as intervening variable.Keywords: Islamic work ethic, job satisfaction, employee performance

<p>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh etos kerja dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan PT Mercedes Benz Indonesia. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan random sampling dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada karyawan PT Mercedes Benz Indonesia secara acak. Metode analissis yang digunakan adalah metode analisis deskriptif, metode analisis statistik yang terdiri dari regresi, analisis linier, pengujian signifikansi parsial (uji t) dan pengujian koefisien<br />187<br />determinasi. Dan itu sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 50 responden. Ini ditunjukkan dari hasil persamaan regresi Y = 29,008 0,178 X1 0,142 X2 dengan interpretasi variabel X1 (etos kerja) sebesar 0,178 dan interpretasi variabel X2 (kepuasan kerja) sebesar 0,142. Berdasarkan statistik uji korelasi yang penulis lakukan, diperoleh koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,252 yang berarti hubungan rendah. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa jika X1 dan X2 naik maka Y juga akan naik. Karena fcount = 1,597 ftabel = .20, then Ho is rejected by Ha accepted, meaning there is no significant influence between work ethic and job satisfaction on employee performance. Keyword : Work Ethics, Job Satisfaction, Performance = 3,20, maka Ho ditolak oleh Ha diterima, artinya tidak ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara etos kerja dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan.</p>

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of human relations and working environment conditions partially and simultaneously on the work ethics of Woha's Procurement Service Unit employees. The research method used is associative with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling so that the entire population was used as a sample in this study as many as 53 respondents, the research instrument was a questionnaire or questionnaire. Data analysis techniques used are the validity and reliability test, the classic assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, the coefficient of detemination, the t test and the F test. Based on the results of statistical tests conducted partially human relations have a positive and significant effect on the work ethic of Woha's Procurement Service Unit employees. Based on the results of statistical tests conducted partially human relations have a positive and significant effect on the work ethic of Woha's Procurement Service Unit employees. While the work environment conditions have a negative and not significant effect on the work ethics of Woha's Procurement Service Unit employees. Simultaneously, human relations variables and work environment conditions significantly influence the work ethics of Woha's Procurement Service Unit employees.
