Improvisation, innovation and adaptation, all of which are in close relationship with creativity, are very important throughout the whole process of the software development cycle and for every IT role involved in it. This tendency is very well visible especially among representatives of Agile practitioners, a group that has been rapidly growing in the last decades. In this paper we adapt pen-and-paper Creative Behaviours Questionnaire for remote, digital testing among specialists employed in the area of software development and IT. In the adaptation process the psychometric properties of the scale were confirmed, and the PCA and CFA analyses were conducted on the revised version of the scale. The CFA analyses, conducted for the first time on this questionnaire, revealed poor fit to the model for the whole scale, however a good fit was confirmed for the two subscales separately.

Zwoegerziekte is a disease in Dutch sheep which morphologically closely resembles an Icelandic sheep disease, Maedi2. Chronic lung affection and emaciation are the principal symptoms of both diseases. Visna is another chronic condition in Icelandic sheep affecting mainly the C.N.S. A virus has been isolated from sheep affected with Maedi or Visna and a close relationship in properties has been found between both viruses. In two Dutch sheep autopsied in the final stage of Zwoegerziekte, lesions were present in the C.N.S., which histologically resembled those in Visna. Another sheep slaughtered at the municipal abattoir, with lung lesions characteristic for the terminal stage of Zwoegerziekte, exhibited early cerebral lesions resembling Visna. The lesions in the C.N.S. of these three sheep were meningitis and severe encephalomyelitis of the glial type affecting the white matter. Secondary demyelination was striking. Though Zwoegerziekte has been known for several decades in the Netherlands, the accompanying C.N.S. lesions are described for the first time.

SummaryA growing body of evidence suggests a pivotal role of inflammatory processes in AF in a bidirectional manner. Infiltrating leukocytes seem to promote both structural and electrical remodelling processes in patients with AF. Monocyte-platelets-aggregates (MPAs) are sensitive markers of both platelets and monocyte activation. So far it is not clear whether the content of MPAs is affected by AF. The present study examined the content of MPAs and the activation of monocytes in elderly patients with an aortic stenosis in dependence of AF. These patients are known to have a high prevalence of AF. Flow-cytometric quantification analysis demonstrated that patients with AF have an increased content of MPAs (207 ± 13 cells/μl vs 307 ± 21 cells/μl, p<0.001), and enhanced expression of CD11b on monocytes (p<0.001), compared to patients in stable sinus rhythm (SR). The number of CD14+/CD16+ monocytes were only slightly elevated in patients with AF. These findings were seen in patients with permanent AF. But also patients with paroxysmal AF, even when presenting in SR, the MPAs were increased by 50 % (p<0.05) as well as the CD11b expression, which was twice as high (p<0.05) compared to stable SR. These results demonstrate for the first time a dependency of MPAs and CD11b expression on monocytes in the presence of AF and support the notion of a close relationship between AF, thrombogenesis and inflammation. The content of MPAs and the extent of activation on monocytes appear promising as biomarkers for paroxysmal AF and as possible future targets for developing novel pharmacological therapeutic strategies.Supplementary Material to this article is available online at www.thrombosis-online.com.

According to the feature of the JBPM workflow system development, the target code generated is determined by analyzing the process of JBPM workflow development and the architecture of J2EE. The code generation tool generates code by parsing the static form source code and loading the code generation template. The code generation tool greatly shortens the JBPM workflow system development cycle and reduces the cost of software development which has the good practicality and scalability.

Continuous Integration (CI) is the technique of integrating small changes made to the code more often rather than waiting till the end of the development cycle for integration. The software practice wherein the software deployment can be done anytime to the market is called Continuous Delivery (CD). With continuous integration and continuous delivery, the problem of taking time to find and resolve the bug can be reduced to a large extent. As the time to find the bugs and fix them gets reduced, many releases adhering to the given timeline can be made by an organization. Various software tools have been developed for the continuous integration process which includes Jenkins, Bitbucket, TeamCity. In this paper, a review on the standard practices, approaches, challenges faced while using the continuous integration/delivery in the software development, methods of solving them, and using Jenkins for the implantation of continuous integration/delivery is done.

In the last years several V-SLAM(Visual Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) approaches have appeared showing impressive reconstructions of the world. However these maps are built with far more than the required information. This limitation comes from the whole process of each key-frame. In this paper we present for the first time a mapping method based on the LOOK UP TABLE(LUT) for visual SLAM that can improve the mapping effectively. As this method relies on extracting features in each cell divided from image, it can get the pose of camera that is more representative of the whole key-frame. The tracking direction of key-frames is obtained by counting the number of parallax directions of feature points. LUT stored all mapping needs the number of cell corresponding to the tracking direction which can reduce the redundant information in the key-frame, and is more efficient to mapping. The result shows that a better map with less noise is build using less than one-third of the time. We believe that the capacity of LUT efficiently building maps makes it a good choice for the community to investigate in the scene reconstruction problems.

In this paper, we made an empirical analysis on China's listed tourism companies’ financial capability and operating performance. We used the SPSS software. We could learn the whole process from table 2 to table 5. This is the first time analyzing the relationship between financial capability and operating performance in tourism industry. The result shows that indicator of sales margin ratio has the most important relationship with operating performance, followed by the debt-to-asset ratio, inventory-turnover ratio and receivables-turnover ratio. The result is significant to the development of tourism industry in the future. China’s tourism companies should use the financial leverage moderately and improve the inventory-turnover ratio and receivables-turnover ratio constantly to make the company's operating performance reach to a new height.

Purpose Although the feasibility and effectiveness of the fused deposition modeling (FDM) method have been proposed and developed, studies of applying this technology to various materials are still needed for researching its applicability, especially with regard to polymer blends and composites. The purpose of this paper is to study the deposition-induced effect and the effect of compatibilizers on the mechanical properties of polypropylene and polycarbonate (PP/PC) composites. Design/methodology/approach For this purpose, three different deposition modes for PP/PC composites with or without compatibilizers were used for the FDM method and tested for tensile properties. Also, parts with the same materials were made by injection molding and used for comparison. In addition, different deposition speeds were used to investigate the different deposition-induced effects. Furthermore, the behavior of the mechanical properties was clarified with scanning electron microscope images of the fracture surfaces. Findings The research results suggest that the deposition orientation has a significant influence on the mechanical behavior of PP/PC composite FDM parts. The results also indicate that there is a close relationship between the mechanical properties and morphological structures which are deeply influenced by compatibilization. Compared with injection molded parts, the ductility of the FDM parts can be dramatically improved due to the formation of fibrils and micro-fibrils by the deposition induced during processing. Originality/value This is the first paper to investigate a PP/PC composite FDM process. The results of this paper verified the applicability of PP/PC composites to FDM technology. It is also the first time that the deposition-induced effect during FDM has been investigated and studied.

This paper examined the psychometric properties of the Interpersonal Relationship Inventory with a sample of homeless men who were first-time shelter users. The measure, based on social exchange theory and equity theory, has two subscales, one for support and the other for conflict. As yet, few measurements have been developed to assess conflict from within social networks. As part of a larger longitudinal study a sample of 166 first-time shelter users was administered the inventory. A student sample also filled out the inventory for comparison purposes. Internal consistency for both subscales was good, .90 for Support and .83 for Conflict. Weak interitem correlations were prevalent among many items in the Conflict subscale. A nearly zero correlation was found between scores on the Support and Conflict subscales, suggesting independence. An exploratory factor analysis using varimax rotation confirmed a dual factor structure. Analyses of variance and Scheffé contrast tests detected no statistically significant differences between age groups on either the Support or the Conflict subscales. A multiple regression analysis indicated that, when controlling for age, scores on the Support scale discriminated the homeless and student samples, while scores on the Conflict subscale do not. The Support subscale indicates excellent psychometric qualities, while the Conflict subscale should be refined.

Software development has various stages, that can be conceptually grouped into two phases namely development and production (Figure 1). The development phase includes requirements engineering, architecting, design, implementation and testing. The production phase on the other hand includes the actual deployment of the end product and its maintenance. Software maintenance is the last and most difficult stage in the software lifecycle (Sommerville, 2001), as well as the most costly one. According to Zelkowitz, Shaw and Gannon (1979) the production phase accounts for 67% of the costs of the whole process, whereas according to Van Vliet (2000) the actual cost of software maintenance has been estimated at more than half of the total software development cost. The development phase is critical in order to facilitate efficient and simple software maintenance. The earlier stages should be done by taking into consideration apart from any functional requirements also the later maintenance task. For example the design stage should plan the structure in a way that can be easily altered. Similarly, the implementation stage should create code that can be easily read, understood, and changed, and should also keep the code length to a minimum. According to Van Vliet (2000) the final source code length generated is the determinant factor for the total cost during maintenance, since obviously the less code is written the easier the maintenance becomes. According to Erdil et al. (2003) there are four major problems that can slow down the whole maintenance process: unstructured code, maintenance programmers having insufficient knowledge of the system, documentation being absent, out of date, or at best insufficient, and software maintenance having a bad image. Thus the success of the maintenance phase relies on these problems being fixed earlier in the life cycle. In real life however when programmers decide to perform some maintenance task on a program such as to fix bugs, to make modifications, to create software updates etc. these are usually done in a state of time and commercial pressures and with the logic of cost reduction, thus finally resulting in a problematic system with ever increased complexity. As a consequence the maintainers spend from 50% up to almost 90% of their time trying to comprehend the program (Erdös and Sneed; 1998, Von Mayrhauser and Vans; 1994, Pigoski, 1996). Providing maintainers with tools and techniques to comprehend the programs has become and is receiving a lot of financial and research interest given the widespread of computers and software in all aspects of life. In this work we briefly present some of the most important techniques proposed in the field thus far and focus primarily on the use of data mining techniques in general and especially on association rules. Accordingly we give some possible solutions to problems faced by these methods.
