This study aims to determine the management of Lake Napangga tourism objects in Kepenghuluan Tanjung Medan, Rokan Hilir Regency, which contributes to the economy of the surrounding community. Lake Napangga is one of the lakes located in the Rokan Hilir area which has promising tourism potential if managed properly. Therefore, the role of BUMDes as the manager of Lake Napangga should be able to become a spirit in developing this lake tourism object to empower the economy of the village community, but the management of this tourist attraction is not only influenced by the seasonal agenda but also the Coronavirus Disease pandemic that emerged in 2020 This study choosing the type of qualitative research with a case study approach, where data collection is done by observation and interviews. After the data and information are obtained, it will be analyzed in depth with triangulation techniques. The results of this study found that the management of Lake Napangga tourism objects has not run optimally by the BUMDes in this case due to the inconsistency in the number of tourists visiting Lake Napangga, the inconsistent seasonal agenda, the lack of promotional activities and the COVID-19 Pandemic that appeared regularly. Suddenly disrupting the sources of income for people who depend on this Lake Napangga tourist attraction. This reality is what makes community economic empowerment in order to increase income still not running optimally. And aspects of sustainability in this case are needed to develop the tourism potential of Lake Napangga in the face of unforeseen conditions, in this case COVID-19 becomes an example of problems that must be faced in order to run the economy of the community and maximize the management of potential tourist attractions.

<p><em>This study aims to determine the implementation of the UPPKS program, the role of UPPKS cadres, the supporting components of the UPPKS program and obstacles in family economic empowerment activities through the UPPKS program in Sukorejo Village, Saradan, Madiun. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Data sources used are primary data and secondary data. Data collection is done by observation, interviews and documentation. The validity of the data uses source triangulation. The results show, (1) The implementation of family economic empowerment through the UPPKS program in Sukorejo Village runs quite well in savings and loan activities. (2) The role of UPPKS cadres in Sukorejo Village is as facilitators in conveying what their members want to the UPPKS program organizers. (3) Supporting components in the implementation of UPPKS activities in Sukorejo Village are Village Village, Saradan PLKB, and BKKBN. (4) Obstacles in the process of family economic empowerment through the UPPKS program in Sukorejo Village, namely the existence of members who are less active in the activities of UPPKS groups and members who move domiciles, so that UPPKS members are reduced.</em></p>

Increased political participation of the village community after the reformation, marked by increasing interest in the community to run for village head elections and village decision-making. Increasing village community participation certainly has hope that the neutrality of bureaucracy is maintained at the village level. So that the climate of political contestation at the village level runs ideally in accordance with the values of democratic life. The purpose of this research is to find out the role of bureaucracy politicization in winning candidate village head Aditya Dimas in Pilkades simultaneously December 26, 2016. Then, knowing the factors that cause political behavior are not neutral village officials and forms of violations in contestation Pilkades Sitimerto December 26 2016. This research using qualitative research methods with a case study approach. The selection of qualitative methods with a case study approach was carried out because there were distinctive characteristics in the election of the head of the Sitimerto village in Kediri Regency. The results of this study show, firstly, that the practice of neutrality in village bureaucracy in the Sitimerto village case is not proven, that the village apparatus is not neutral in the village head election. Second, the factors that motivate village officials to be non-neutral in the case of the Sitimerto village head election are the widespread use of money politics as an attraction for material benefits to the village apparatus and political dinasty of incumbent. Third, a number of forms of violations of neutrality that occurred in the case of the election of the Sitimerto village head were proven that the village officials acted as cadres of the incumbent candidates and participated in distributing money politics to the villagers. Keywords: Kekuasaan, Demokrasi,Netralitas Birokrasi, dan Pilkades

This study aims to determine the development of the Napangga Lake tourist attraction in Kepenghuluan Tanjung Medan, Rokan Hilir Regency, which greatly contributes to village-owned enterprises in empowering the community’s economy. Lake Napangga is a new destination located in the Rokan Hilir area and has very promising tourism potential, so it must be managed professionally and have an economic impact on the local community. Therefore, village-owned enterprises must be able to become a spirit in developing this lake tourism object in order to empower the economy of the village community. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, where data collection is done by observation and interviews. After the data and information are obtained, it will be analyzed in depth with data triangulation validity test. The results of this study found that the development of the Lake Napangga tourist attraction has not run optimally by the Bumdes in empowering the community’s economy. This is due to the inconsistency in the number of tourists visiting Lake Napangga, because this tour is still seasonal. Strategies are needed to make economic empowerment for the community in order to increase income and improve the quality of life of the surrounding community.

The independence of society is inseparable from the emergence of the independence of individuals who are in it, including women. Women who are members of the Betang Asi Credit Union Cooperative business unit in Pulang Pisau Regency, Central Kalimantan Province with their efforts to wick rattan provide a new meaning in empowering women based on local wisdom of Dayak tribe, with a focus on business based on the potential of rattan plants that grow in nature. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. The results of this study provide a review of the need for women to join business institutions such as cooperatives or other institutions in marketing their products, so that the weaknesses of the findings in this study can be eliminated and the role of women in the village towards economic independence can run well without having to forget the local wisdom as a person born from Dayak tribe.

For those who have entered the productive age and are able to work, without high education and business capital, the possible work will be to open employment opportunities in the micro business sector. The role of the small business in practice is constrained by several things, one of which is the problem of capital. This research aims to find out how the role of Baitul Maal Wat Tamt BMT Pinar Bersinar Utama Surabaya towards the economic empowerment of small traders in the Pucang Market Surabaya. The research method used is a qualitative case study approach using data collection techniques carried out by interviews and direct observation to the object of research. The results of this study are Baitul Maal Wat Tamwil has played a role in increasing the business of small traders in the Pucang Market in Surabaya. Business improvement from small traders can be seen from BMT members who trade in the Pucang Market experiencing increased revenue and smooth business from time to time.Keywords: Baitul Maal Wat Tamwil, Economic Empowerment, Financing

The study was entitled "The Role of Social Capital as a Strategy in the Development of the Weaving Handicraft Industry in Sukarara Village". The development of the weaving industry has been started since the 1980s, but the process of developing the weaving industry is still relatively slow and has low competitiveness with handicraft industries is in Central Lombok. This study uses the theory and concept of social capital from Putnam. This study also uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The main source in this study is the weaving craftsmen. The research location is Sukarara Village, Jonggat District, Central Lombok Regency. This research is a qualitative research which aims to explain and discover the role of social capital that is owned by the community in the development process of the weaving industry in the village of Sukarara. The focus of this research is identifying the role of social capital and knowing the obstacles in the development process of the weaving industry. Zakat has been widely described as a tool of income distribution. Not with standing of the potential of zakat in Indonesia and Malaysia, however, there are some issues in zakat institutions. This study aims to analyze institutional program of collecting zakat in reaching Maqashid Sharia and also to identify the issues over the program conducted by the Selangor and DKI Zakat institutions. This study conducted a case study approach which involved two Zakat institutions in two different countries; Lembaga Zakat Selangor in Malaysia and Badan Amil Zakat Infaq and Sadaqah in Indonesia. Zakat Institution should be the leading institution in economic empowerment of society by using Maqashid Sharia as benchmark indicator to design zakat distribution program. This study found that LZS has fulfilled all aspects of maqashid ShariaSharia in zakat distribution program while BAZIS DKI meet three aspects of maqashid Sharia namely hifdzu ad-din, hifdzu an-nafs and hifdzu an-nasl. It is acknowledged that the zakat institutions have made many improvements, there are still few issues that need to be highlighted to meet the needs of the society. The following recommendations are given to empower and enhance the role of zakat particularly in accomplishing the objectives of the Sharia.

The originality of this research is where previous studies only discussed waste banks from the green economy perspective of maqashid sharia, or discussed economic empowerment only, but in this study it combines all aspects of previous research. This study aims to describe the role of the Sumringah waste bank in improving people's welfare, where the indicator used is Maqashid Syariah. This research uses qualitative research methods, with a case study approach. The waste management system at the Sumringah Waste Bank applies the 3R principle (reduce, reuse, recycle), this aims to motivate the community and increase awareness about managing waste independently from the source, as well as implementing a people's economy. The results of the analysis obtained indicate that there is prosperity in terms of: 1) Spirituality, namely by increasing alms Jariyah (hifz ad-din), 2) fulfilling mental needs (hifz an-nafs), 3) understanding about waste management and environmental hygiene (hifz al-nafs). aql), 4) maintenance of offspring (hifz al-aql), 5) income (hifz al-maal). The implication is as a behavior changer for the community, economic empowerment and quality of life of its members.

The purpose of this study is to determine the readiness of the village government in forming BUMDes as well as the factors forming these readiness as an effort to empower rural communities based on creative economy. This study uses qualitative methods with a case study approach. The case study was conducted at BUMDes “Barokah” owned by Putukrejo Village, Gondanglegi District, Malang Regency. The results of the study confirms that the Putukrejo Village Government has a fairly good readiness in forming BUMDes. It is proven by the development of business units that are very helpful in empowering local rural communities. In addition, BUMDes “Barokah” also seeks to empower the community based on creative economy by establishing the tourist attraction, Sumber Sira Market, which is used to manage the products of the community creativity.
