Earthquakes in Indonesia cause physical damage as well as fatalities, high mortality rates and disability when an earthquake occurs, it is necessary to reduce or prevent it by increasing people's knowledge and skills about how to evacuate during an earthquake. Earthquakes that are not resolved with resilience and lack of human resources that can handle earthquakes from pre-disaster, during disaster and post-disaster. Earthquakes are caused by the movement of the Earth's crust (Earth's plates). The frequency of a region, refers to the type and size of earthquakes experienced over a period of time. Earthquakes are measured using a seismometer. Moment magnitude is the most common scale where earthquakes occur throughout the world so that the community is demanded to be prepared, one of which is evacuation during a disaster which is held by evacuation counseling in Wonorejo Village, Karanganyar. earthquake with pre-test data 75% of the residents did not know and after counseling and post-testing it was found that 90% of the residents understood the skills and knowledge of evacuation during an earthquake. with the lack of knowledge and skills of residents regarding evacuation during an earthquake, it is very appropriate for residents to understand when an earthquake occurs

This article focuses on the COVID-19 information that has hit various countries in the world and results in high mortality rates. In Indonesia, various information emerged from social media that caused pressure, fear and even stress. This article is a literature review with a qualitative approach to the text of Psalm 23 about attitudes taken to deal with pressure or COVID-19. The purpose of writing is to raise the theological significance of Psalm 23 and implement it into the life experiences of believers today, where everyone is in a plague situation. Psalm 23 is considered appropriate because it talks about three themes namely the exposition in this paper namely nurture (vv. 1-3), guarding (v. 4) and fellowship with God (vv. 5-6). The analysis is carried out by conducting a hermenetic study, which is combined with narrative analysis.

Somalia, in the Horn of Africa, suffers violence, political instability and high mortality rates. The recent major drought in Somalia led to what was termed the worst humanitarian disaster in the world. In July 2011 it was reported that nearly 60 000 people had entered into Kenya from Somalia already that year, including 1300 new arrivals every day to the Dadaab refugee camp, described as ‘the largest, most congested and one of the most remote refugee camps in the world’ (see http://www.unhcr.org/4e204b1e9.html). The drought along with mass migration into such poor conditions are likely to have significant short- and long-term mental health consequences for the populations involved.

INTRODUCTION Evaluation of nutritional status of population groups has been undertaken in many areas of the world during the past 40 years. Attempts have been made to standardize procedures and methodologies in order to allow comparisons of results from different studies.13 During the 1950s and 1960s, under the auspices of the Interdepartmental Committee on Nutrition for National Defense, a number of surveys were undertaken in developing countries of the world where children comprise the majority of the population. The preschool child was particularly vulnerable to malnutrition and mortality rates were quite high, often exceeding 50% in the first five years of life. Most infants in these countries seemed to thrive during the first 6 to 12 months of life, particularly if they were breast-fed. After this period, their diets declined nutritionally, both in quality and in quantity. Combined effects of malnutrition and of infection largely accounted for the high mortality rates in the postweaning age. In view of such high mortality rates, it was obvious that a substantial proportion of youngsters who did not die almost surely experienced overt malnutrition or some degree of nutritional deprivation during critical periods in development. Increasing attention has been given to study of these "survivors" from the standpoint of physical and intellectual development and behavioral characteristics.4-9 It was apparent in the mid 1960s that we knew little about the nutritional status of young children in the United States. Studies had been undertaken on various segments of the U.S. population,10 but were often limited in scope (only dietary surveys or anthropometric determinations) and in sample size (adolescents or adults in selected areas or occupations).

With the purpose of understanding the pandemic issue that is currently experienced by almost all countries, this library research examines American films with a pandemic theme to find out the reason for using this theme in films and to identify the symbol of pandemic shown in the films. By observing the dialogs and scenes in Outbreak (1995),  I am Legend (2007), Carriers (2009), Contagion (2011), and The World War Z (2013), this textual analysis study utilizes the theory of representation to interpret the pandemic in the films. The results showed that the pandemic issue can be considered a promising theme because the concept of the theme includes interesting scenes such as the emergence of infectious disease, rapid virus transmission, high mortality rates, and challenges in overcoming pandemic. These scenes form a pattern – confusion, panic, emergency, survival, and treatment that can be the hallmark of a pandemic-themed film. In addition, the results of the study also suggested that films about pandemics can symbolize the reality of human’s life which is reflected through the portraits of greed, heroism, and hope.

ABSTRACT Objective: to report the experience in the structuring and managing process of a specific unit for COVID-19, highlighting the role of nurses in decision-making. Method: an experience report on the creation and management of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) unit, in March 2020, in 2020, in a philanthropic hospital of the state of Santa Catarina. Results: the unit was structured with 10 intensive care beds and 20 infirmary beds. Meetings were held to make decisions, as well as to create protocols and flows with active participation of the nurse. In questions related to direct assistance, adaptations were developed in the nursing process performed at the hospital and the organization of new flows and routines. The physical space was structured, considering the high risk of transmissibility for the disease. Professionals were hired with staffing readjustment according to the complexity of the service, making up a team of professionals with experience in critical care. There were trainings for developing knowledge and skills prior to the first cases, which were systematically maintained. In addition, it was observed that the nurses were concerned about the mental health of the professionals working in this unit and, therefore, support actions were programmed. Conclusion: the foundation in the scientific evidence and recommendations of the competent bodies at the world and national levels for the structuring of the COVID-19 unit is emphasized. The role of the nurse in all the interfaces stands out, assuming a fundamental role from the composition of the commissions, going through the planning and functioning of the physical structure, management of human resources, and construction of care protocols and flows, in addition to acting directly in the care provided.

Education is a process of learning and learning both in terms of knowledge and skills. From a number of sources that researchers studied, researchers can deduce from education and education administration with a broad scope. Education and education administration have the same goals and functions, namely achieving an educational goal that can benefit society and the nation. This education also serves to create intelligent students, noble character, good personality and skills that can be useful to help other communities. Educational administration and education are very related, because they are very dependent. Educational administration is all processes and joint activities that must be carried out by someone related to educational tasks. The formation of comprehensive and in-depth notions of objects and phenomena in the world can be achieved when the mastery of knowledge and skills is carried out in a system realized in the context of integration of different scientific directions. One of the main issues in modern education is related to the contradiction - on one hand between the need to form the skills necessary for the orientation and adaptation of the personality in the dynamics of the globalizing world and on the other - the education which is largely based on unilateral acquiring of knowledge and skills within the different subject areas. This influences the development of a worldview and the formation of an adequate attitude towards the problems under consideration and the world as a whole. The knowledge and skills acquired today are often “locked” in the respective direction. The cross-curricular unity in the curriculum is of a recommended nature, but even if it is realized, it does not fully meet the need for a comprehensive and multifaceted consideration of global issues, as a result of which the student not only understands, reflects, but also applies the lessons learned in the process of creating a product - ideal or material. Combining the intellectual nature of the cognitive process with the practice activity are conditions in which the students are highly active and achieve better learning outcomes. Therefore, it is expedient for the different directions to correspond more closely to each other and to carry out effective cross-curricular integration. The concept of applying an integrative approach in the current paper is based on the idea of creating pedagogical conditions for reconciling the goals and expected outcomes of technology and entrepreneurship and natural sciences studied at the initial stage of the primary education. Integration can take place on two levels - knowledge and skills. We believe that the lapbook as an innovative didactic tool contains the necessary potential for effective realization of the educational goals in both directions in terms of achieving the expected results. In the course of its elaboration, new information is acquired in the field of engineering and technology, specific skills underlying the curricula of technology and entrepreneurship programs are developed. At the same time, a number of subjects from the learning content, which are considered from the natural science point of view, are enriched and perceived in a technological way, after which they find place in an attractive book - a lapbook, made by the students themselves. Its utilitarian value is multiplied by the personal contribution to its creation - not only as an object but also as content. The main topics that are of interest to the students are exploring and preserving nature, jobs, modern technical achievements, holidays and customs. As a result of the adequate integration of competences, tailored to curricula, a number of skills are formed, such as: skills for searching on their own, systematization and presentation of information, and application of the lessons learned in a new situation.
