The initial training of teachers assumes great responsibility in the methodo-logical renewal of teachers. This study aims to know the thinking of higher education students, future teachers, regarding their knowledge and attitudes towards the curricular integration of Information and Communication Tech-nologies (ICT), as well as to identify inhibiting and propelling factors of the use of digital technology by future teachers. This study is part of the IFITIC Project, which aims to rethink educational practice with ICT in the initial training of future teachers in order to promote methodological renewal in Pre-school Education and the 1st and 2nd Cycles of Basic Education. We used the methodological design survey and for data collection we applied a ques-tionnaire survey, with closed questions, to students of Basic Education and Vocational Master's degree from two public higher education institutions in the North of Portugal. The results point to the existence of inhibiting factors such as lack of resources in training centers, and propellants to ICT integra-tion such as the availability of personal resources that can compensate for the lack of resources in school centers and ICT training by training schools. They also reveal a positive and open attitude on the part of students towards the educational use of ICT.

The article discusses results of research carried out with the aim of analyzing teachers' meanings about professional training, both initial and continuing. The research is based on the ideas of Vigotski and Espinosa about human development, in which two teachers who work in the municipal public network of Teresina-PI participated. The research instruments were a questionnaire and semi-structured interview. The analysis had the nuclei of meanings as a procedure. The analyzes indicate that, if, on the one hand, in the initial training, the appropriate knowledge helped in the professional development of the teachers, on the other hand, the continuing education has collaborated to keep them in a passive situation in the face of educational demands, because they remain dependent to tell them how to act professionally. The results also indicate that continuing education has the potential to remove teachers from the condition of passivity when it collaborates with the development of the conscience of this professional, in short, with their historical development.

PEDAGOGICAL AND TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATION IN TEACHERS’ INITIAL FORMATION Abstract: This article looks at the way and the challenges of integration of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in Physics teachers initial training. The overall objective is to investigate teacher training courses at the undergraduate level, as the knowledge related to ICT in their curriculum base, as well as understand what are the challenges for these courses provide such training quality. Our hypothesis is that the Physics teacher initial training courses are providing few moments that make it possible to question the ICT during the formation of the educator, which would not realize the importance of these resources and inherent knowledge as well as the contribution that enable the educational practice. Thus, this research is focused on the training of future Physics teachers in Basic Education in order to use ICT. Then, we focus on research in undergraduate Physics courses in five Federal Universities of the state of Rio Grande do Sul, in order to analyze the educational projects of these courses and to conduct interviews with teachers trainers of these institutions. This research confirmed the need to think of a less fragmented structure training in ICT - and not only them – will be discussed in different contexts and environments in order to permeate the whole training course. Teachers need to be prepared to attend to all learners regardless of their abilities or needs. This implies that future teachers must develop, throughout their initial training, the necessary competencies to provide inclusive education to all students. The aim of this research was to analyze the level of development of competencies related to inclusion and attention to diversity among university students of a degree in primary education. Based on the project developed by the European Agency for Development in Special Needs Education (EADSNE) on the profile of the inclusive teacher, an ad hoc survey was prepared based on the four fundamental competencies proposed: valuing student diversity, supporting all students, working as part of a team, and developing one’s professional and personal qualities. This survey was administered to 440 students of the degree in primary education from the University of La Laguna (San Cristóbal de La Laguna, Spain). The results showed a positive development of the four competencies, with a higher development of the competencies of continuing professional development. It was also found that the students had the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for promoting inclusion and encouraging attention to diversity in their classrooms.

The question of practical knowledge and its teaching has arisen more perceptibly since the appearance of the aim to professionalize teachers. How can imperceptible knowledge such as professional routines be taught? To establish a social fabric and effective class management, it is essential to call on creative and adaptive professional routines. These routines support the interpretation of daily life, effectiveness, and a sense of security among both students and teachers; it is a frame favouring successful classroom management. Professional routines come under the scope of integrated competencies, and this prompts their analysis in view of understanding a central link within initial training. This paper will present the concept of professional routines as an educational practice in which practical knowledge is combined with professional learning, then the conceptual frame, the analytical method, and the results of two research projects, followed by a concluding reflection.

In work, different possibilities are considered, which are offered by natural and social resources with the goal to change and modernize the teaching outside of the classroom in different environments. Modern teaching is based on the holistic, integrated approach in which the knowledge is viewed as a complete system in a constant process of transformation. Thus, the importance of the environment is asserted, the importance of the ambient in which the teaching process is being conducted. Authentic environment (natural and social resources) in which the teaching is realized, outside of the classroom, creates possibilities for learning through active working methods, independent research, exploration and noticing the relationships and connections. Teaching in the authentic environment offers a series of advantages for both the students and teacher-partners in the process of constructing a knowledge system. Using the resources and modern complex integration approach within the existing educational practice can significantly influence the modernization and innovation of the educational process, and can make the school, as a basic educational institution, a more suitable and more attractive for the generations to come.
