Pedagogy training is a fundamental programme that should be conducted regularly, especially in the context of reforming the general Vietnam education recently. The research objective aims to classify the development process of training activities for high school teachers. The research methodology is based on the historical and comparative approaches to present the maturing process of teaching apprentices for the high school workforce. The research result reveals that although the training activities for high school teachers have been in many countries’ consideration for a long time within the innovation of education and society, there is a shortage of in-depth studies for this topic as well as professional capacity building management in the Vietnamese teaching labour today.

This work belongs to the field of limit theorems for separable statistics. In particular, this paper considers the number of empty cells after placing particles in a finite number of cells, where each particle is placed in a polynomial scheme. The statistics under consideration belong to the class of separable statistics, which were previously considered in (Mirakhmedov: 1985), where necessary statements for the layout of particles in a countable number of cells were proved. The same scheme was considered in (Asimov: 1982), in which the conditions for the asymptotic normality of random variables were established. In this paper, the asymptotic normality of the statistics in question is proved and an estimate of the remainder term in the central limit theorem is obtained. In summary, the demand for separable statistics systems is growing day by day to address large-scale databases or to facilitate user access to data management. Because such systems are not only used for data entry and storage, they also describe their structure: file collection supports logical consistency; provides data processing language; restores data after various interruptions; database management systems allow multiple users.

The DS18B20 sensor calibration has been conducted using a fluke hart with a temperature chamber at the center for meteorology, climatology, and geophysics region III Denpasar. The calibration process is done by stabilizing the temperature in the chamber, then the temperature on the DS18B20 sensor and the standard thermometer in the chamber are read and compared. The setpoints used were 10 oC, 20 oC, 30 oC and 40 oC each set point was read four times. The results of the calculation of the standard deviation at each setpoint are  0,39 oC,  0,12 oC,  0,00 oC,  0,00 oC and the results of the uncertainty for each setpoint are 0,65 oC,  0,20 oC,  0,18 oC,  0,18 oC. The results of the DS18B20 sensor calibration using a fluke hart with a temperature chamber obtained the highest standard deviation value of 0,39 oC and the highest uncertainty value was 0,65 oC. This value indicates that the DS18B20 sensor calibrated with a standard tool at the 10 oC set point has not met the standard value applied by WMO, which is ±0.3 oC.

Formative assessment is ideal for improving teaching and learning processes. However, little is practiced systematically and a traditional approach still persists in many educational institutions that value the product rather than the process. The objective of this study is to determine the evaluative process associated with multiple intelligences in high school students from an Educational Unit in the city of Manta. Methodologically, this research project is of a mixed type with a qualitative-quantitative approach since it obtains real data that evaluates the results. To collect the information, information from primary sources will be used and will be carried out through a survey via Google to teachers and secondary information will be taken from accredited sources of virtual libraries, indexed magazines, and other academic Google publications. The results will be processed using statistical methods that will allow their analysis and interpretation. As a result of it, a set of formative evaluation activities underlying the pedagogical practice of the teacher was obtained, assessing the general process of formative evaluation of learning included in the teaching-learning processes. The process is useful for conducting a conscious and systematic formative assessment.

Research has been carried out related to subsurface structures in the Tejakula Buleleng Bali area and its surroundings using the gravity method. This study aims to identify the local Tejakula fault. The data used in this study is gravity anomaly data obtained from observations of Geodetic Satellite (GEOSAT). The method used in interpreting the type of disturbance uses the Second Vertical Derivative method, which then produces two-dimensional (2D) and three-dimensional (3D) fault model interpretations. Based on the results obtained in the study, the condition of the bouguer gravity anomaly value in the Tejakula area and its surroundings at the research location is in the range of 65 mGal to 185 mGal. Meanwhile, based on the Second Vertical Derivative method in determining the type of fault, the Tejakula Fault can be categorized as a mandatory fault with an upward trend.

This study aimed to improve students’ high order thinking skills (HOTS) specifically in Statistics Method I subject by implementing the "what-if" learning strategy. This research is a two-cycle classroom action research. The subjects of this study were as many as 16 students in the 2018/2019 academic year as semester IIA students from the Mathematics Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Mahasaraswati Denpasar. Techniques for collecting data used interviews, observations, and essay tests. This research used two methods for data analysis, i.e. qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. Qualitative analysis uses methods such as mathematical models and analyses that are performed by conducting explanations restricted to data management techniques. Moreover, the quantitative analysis used a simple level calculation to determine the average value and completeness level of students’ high order thinking skills. The study results showed an increase in the students’ high order thinking skills from the first cycle to the second cycle. The average score of the students’ high order thinking skills only exceeded 71.125 with completeness level 62.5 percent in the first cycle.

The investigation identified the application of self-assessment and coevaluation in the learning processes in teachers of the School of Basic Education “Nueva Paquisha” of the Nuevo Paquisha community, of the Rocafuerte Canton. The methodology that was used was experimentation, using the survey as an instrument, which allowed us to know that self-evaluation and coevaluation are necessary for students to develop criteria and opinions about their evaluative practices within the classroom. The results obtained improved authentic evaluations in the teaching and learning process, contributing fundamental results to the transformation of information acquired in both the pedagogical day and in daily life, at the same time providing the information that the teacher needs to know to improve and reinforce the knowledge With this practice, the student demonstrates and values the achievements and teachers allow them to confirm the effectiveness of the teaching process.

Bali is one of the areas prone to earthquakes and tsunamis because it is located in the meeting area of ??two plates namely the Eurasian and Indo-Australian plates located in the south of Bali and a back-arc trust zone located in the north of Bali. Research has been carried out on tsunami hazard level analysis based on scenario modeling and earthquake seismicity in southern Bali. This study uses earthquake data in January 2010 - July 2018. Tsunami prone areas in southern Bali are Klungkung district, Nusa Penida, Kuta beach, Sanur beach, Tabanan and Gianyar districts. The research conducted aims to determine the level of tsunami hazard by looking at the tsunami run up and arrival time in the southern region of Bali. This simulation model uses 1427 data which is then processed using Generic Mapping Tools (GMT) software so that seismicity maps are obtained, and tsunami modeling uses the Tsunami Observation and Simulation Terminal (TOAST) software. The results obtained from the tsunami modeling simulation in the form of altitude (run up) and tsunami wave arrival time (arrival time) which have an average value of 1,385 - 2,776 meters with an arrival time of 20-24 minutes. The tsunami hazard level is obtained in scenario A with a magnitude of 7.5 which has a maximum value of <1 meter (low) and scenario B with a magnitude of 7.8 has a maximum tsunami run-up value of 1-3 meters (medium) and in scenario C with a magnitude 8.0 has a maximum run-up of tsunami waves of 1 - 3 meters (medium).
