This study aims to determine the improvement of student biology learning outcomes using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model and Inquiry Learning model in Class X of Lubuklinggau 2 Public High School. This research is a quantitative descriptive research using quasi-experimental methods. The population in this study were all students of Class X Lubuklinggau 2 State Senior High School, amounting to 391 students, while the research samples were class X.7 amounting to 39 students as experimental class I and class X.10 totaling 40 students as experimental class II obtained using techniques cluster sampling. The research data was obtained by the test technique in the form of essay questions. Data analysis techniques with t test. The results of the study, based on the results of the analysis with the t test on the final value, can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted because of the value of Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.513 greater than α = 0.05. Conclusion, the increase in biology learning outcomes of students with Problem Based Learning learning models is higher than the increase in student biology learning outcomes with the Inquiry Learning model Keywords: problem based learning, inquiry learning, improving learning outcomes

This research focused on the low learning outcomes of Natural Science students in class V.. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the Tri Hita Karana oriented PBL model on the learning outcomes of the fifth grade Natural Science students. The sample in this study amounted to 56 students. In this study, data were collected using a test technique using an objective test instrument with multiple choice forms which had previously been analyzed for the quality of eligibility by testing the validity, reliability, distinguishing features, and level of difficulty. The data that has been obtained is then analyzed using t-test. Based on the results of the t-test analysis, T-count = 5.42, while the value of T-table at a significant level of 5% with degrees of freedom 28 + 28 - 2 = 54 is 1.67. Based on T-count = 5.42 > T-table = 1.67 then H0 is rejected. The results of the analysis prove that there are significant differences between the groups of students who are taught with the Tri Hita Karana oriented Problem Based Learning model with groups of students who are taught with conventional learning models. From the results of the t-test analysis and the average learning outcomes it can be concluded that The Tri Hita Karana oriented Problem Based Learning model has a positive effect on the Natural Science learning outcomes of Class V students. Therefore, the Tri Hita Karana oriented Problem Based Learning model is suitabel for dealing with low Natural Science learning outcome

This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of problem-based learning model on ??the material of flat side geometry on the learning outcomes of Class VIII students of MTs An-Nur Palangka Raya.This type of research is quantitative with quasi-experimental methods and one-group pre-test-post-test research design. The population in this study were all students of class VIII MTs An-Nur Palangka Raya of 77 people. From this population, random cluster sampling was chosen. Therefore 26 students of Class VIII-C were selected as the experimental class. The instruments of the data collection in this study were pre-test and post-test. The hypothesis of this study was tested using one-sample t-test. The results of the study indicate an average pretest ( )  of 23.61 and an average posttest ( )  of 46.30 and the average difference ( )   is 22.69. Before analyzing the data, the normality of  data is tested first. The normality test indicates = 2.168 and = 9,488. Because  <  and   follows the normal distribution. The results of the t test show the value of tcount = 1.92 and ttable = 1.708 at degrees of freedom (db) = n - 1 = 25 and the error level ? = 5% is obtained. Because tcount > ttable, then H0 is rejected and  is accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that the PBL model is effective in improving students’ learning outcomes in the material of flat side geometry in class VIII MTs An-Nur Palangka Raya.

This study aims to know the influence of active learning model Course Review Horay to biology learning outcomes at eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 10 Batam academic year 2013/2014. This research design is  randomized experiment using posttest only control-group design. The study population is all the eighth grade students of  SMP Negeri 10 Batam with reached population consist of 7 classes. The sampling technique using a simple random sampling. Samples were selected class VIII5 as control class and VIII8 as experiment class. The instrument  that use in this research is the form of the test. Requirement have been in the form of normality and homogeneity test, which showed that normal and homogeneous data. Technique of data analysis conducted by the t test. The result analysis of data using the t test showed the tvalue 3.01 and ttable is 2.00 (tvalue > ttable). The results showed that the active learning result model Course Review Horay give effect to increase student learning outcomes from the average of the experimental class 82,57 and control class 76,04. Thus, the hypothesis put forward acceptable significance level (α = 0.05). Thus, it can be concluded that the using of active learning model Course Review Horay influential on learning outcomes of biology at eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 10 Batam. Keywords: Course Review Horay, Biology Learning Outcomes.

This study aims to 1) find out how the learning activities of students in the following learning using the Jigsaw Cooperative Learning Model with PowerPoint Media, 2) To determine whether there is an increase in economic learning outcomes in the subject matter of the market and market prices. After using the Jigsaw Type Cooperative Learning model with Media PowerPoint on students of class X IPS-2 Katingan Hilir 2 High School. This type of research is Class Action Research (CAR). The subjects of this study were students of class X IPS-2 in Katingan Hilir Lesson 2 High School 2016/2017 in the amount of 30 students. Data analysis is used in research qualitatively and quantitatively. Based on the results of the study, 1) Economic learning activities using the Jigsaw type learning model with powerpoint media in Katingan Hilir 2 High School. The operation of students in segment 1 obtained an average score of 3.18 into the category of being right. While in cycle two there is an improvement to be better, with an average rating of 3.91 good classes. 2) there is an economic improvement in learning outcomes with material on market issues and market prices by using the jigsaw cooperative learning model with powerpoint media in the X IPS-2 class of Katingan Hilir Public High School 2016/2017 academic year. This can be seen from the learning outcomes of students' data in the pre-action process of the pre-test period, getting an average value of 61 with classical mastery of 20.00% with criteria not reached, cycle 1 getting an average score of 69.5 with traditional knowledge, 67% with no tests achieved, and in the post-test 2 cycle the average rating was 81 with 100% classical mastery with the criteria fulfilled.

ABSTRACT [The Effectiveness of Using a Model Problem-based Learning (PBL) to the Results of Physics Learning on High School Students 9 Lubuklinggau]. The objective of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the use of problem-based learning model. The research method used experiments with the form of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample in this research is the students of class XI A and class XI B SMA N 9 Lubuklinggau City which amounted to 50 students. The  technique of collecting data in this research is a test. The test is in the form of pretest and finally test (posttest). The purpose of holding initial and final tests to determine the effectiveness of Physics learning with PBM model and conventional learning. The test instrument that was made before the test was tested was done by panelists test using Intracorelation class coefficient (ICC). Data analysis technique used in this research is t-test. The results showed that there are differences in student learning outcomes taught with Problem-Based Learning model (PBM) with students taught with conventional learning model. The difference can be seen in the result of t-test which yields t-count> t-table (3,98> 2.01). The effectiveness of using the PBM model in the experimental class is 13.5% better than in the control class. Keywords: Effectiveness; model; PBL; learning outcomes.

There is the fact that the students' learning outcome in Applied Physics course related to the application of the mining industry is unsatisfactory. Based on the results of the final score, the rate of successful students was only around 40%. Moreover, students' understanding application is also not by the desired competencies. In this research, a learning model was developed from the Contextual Teaching and Learning Model (CTL), i.e., DILA model which consists of four syntaxes (Display, Inquiry, Learning Community, and Authentic Assessment). The effectiveness of the DILA learning model was investigated to improve students’ learning outcomes in the Applied Physics course. This research employed the quasi-experimental design where the experimental class was treated by DILA model based on Contextual Teaching and Learning; whereas control class was not treated by the model. Data were obtained from the results of the pre-test and post-test scores; then it was analyzed by a parametric with an independent t-test, related t-test, and the effect size. The results indicate that there was a significant increase in students’ learning outcomes in the experimental class compared to the control class. In conclusion, DILA model can improve students’ learning outcomes in the Applied Physics course effectively.Hasil belajar Fisika Terapan yang diperoleh mahasiswa yang terlihat dari nilai akhir semester dan penerapan pada industri pertambangan pada umumnya tidak memuaskan. Tingkat kelulusan mahasiswa hanya sekitar 40%. Sehingga pemahaman mahasiswa dalam penerapannya juga tidak sesuai dengan kompetensi yang diinginkan. Model DILA merupakan salah satu model pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dari Model Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL). Model DILA terdiri atas empat sintaks yaitu: Display, Inquiry, Learning Community, dan Authenthic Assessment. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengukur efektifitas Model Pembelajaran DILA guna meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa pada matakuliah Fisika Terapan. Penelitian ini merupakan quasi eksperiment dimana kelas eksperimen diberikan pembelajaran dengan Model DILA berbasis Contextual Teaching and Learning. Data diperoleh dari hasil pre-test dan post-test dan diolah secara parametric dengan t test sample independent dan t test related serta effect sizenya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran DILA yang diterapkan pada matakuliah Fisika Terapan di Jurusan Teknik Pertambangan adalah efektif. Ini berarti model Pembelajaran DILA dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa pada matakuliah Fisika Terapan.

Abstrak – Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap hasil belajar fisika siswa kelas X SMAN 2 Praya tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desain penelitian post-test only group design. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas X SMAN 2 Praya Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016 berjumlah 400 orang. Pengambilan sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling, sehingga diperoleh kelas X 4 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X 6 sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes multiple choice dengan lima alternatif jawaban. Hipotesis Penelitian diuji menggunakan t-test polled varians, diperoleh thitungsebesar 3,42 dan ttabelsebesar 1,99 pada taraf signifikansi 5 %. Oleh karena  t­hitung > ttabel, maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap hasil belajar fisika siswa kelas X SMAN 2 Praya tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Kata kunci: model pembelajaran berbasis masalah, hasil belajar. Abstract – The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of problem based learning model toward physics learning outcomes at SMAN 2 Praya grade X at the academic year 2015/2016. The goal of this investigation to implement a problem-based learning model as an effort to improve student learning activities and outcomes. This model of research is a classroom action research divided into two cycles. The study conducted at High School 1 Piyungan class X MIPA 1 totaling 35 students consisting of 15 male and 20 female, the topic used the momentum and impulse of semester 2. The research instrument is observation sheet, achievement test, and questionnaire. The results of the analysis learning model with problem-based learning can increase the activity of studying physics class X MIPA1. Improved physics learning activities of class X MIPA 1 students at High School 1 Piyungan with problem-based learning for the academic year 2018/2019 from the first cycle at the first meeting and the second meeting increased from 84.75% to 91.11% which was 6.36In the second cycle there was an increase from 85.28% to 91.85%, an increase of 6, 57%.

This research aimed to determine the differences between student’s learning outcomes that were taught by used discovery learning and problem based learning models on topic of environmental pollution in grade x SMA Negeri 1 Sunggal in academic year 2014/2015, The population of all of the students at grade X, that consisted of 4 classes and total of the students were 156 students. The samples were taken at random sampling of two classes, with details class X2 used discovery learning model and X1 used problem based learning model and each class numbered 39 students, so the number of samples in this study were 78 students. Type of research was experimental. The results showed that the learning outcomes of students who were taught by using discovery learning model was 82,05 ± 8,25, while the learning outcomes of students who were taught by using the problem based learning model was 76,41 ± 8,15. The result from the t-test at α = 0,05 with th 3,044; tt  1,995; and dk 76 refer that there was significant different from student’s learning outcomes who were taught using discovery learning model with problem based learning model on topic of environmental pollution in grade X SMA Negeri 1 Sunggal in academic year 2014/2015.Keywords : discovery learning, learning model, learning outcomes, problem based learning

This study aims to determine the effect of learning models and learning motivation on students' historical learning outcomes at Bandar Lampung 6 Public High School. The type of research used is quantitative research using 2x2 level treatment design experiment methods. The population consists of all students of class XI IPS. The sample consisted of two classes are class XI IIS 1 and XI IIS 3 with total is 56 students. The instruments used for learning outcomes are multiple-choice tests and learning motivation are questionnaires. The results of this study indicated that: (1) student learning outcomes given a model of inquiry learning is higher than students given conventional learning models (2) there is an influence of interaction between learning models and learning motivation (3) students' historical learning outcomes given inquiry learning models and having higher learning motivation is higher than students given conventional learning models and having high learning motivation (4) historical learning outcomes of students given inquiry learning models and having low learning motivation is lower than students given conventional learning models and having low learning motivation.
