The contemporary investigation was conducted with aimed to investigate the relationship of proactive personality and careerism. The said relationship was not tested in isolation rather it has been tested with the inclusion of career self-efficacy as a mediator and two moderators (openness to experience, extroversion). It was basically an attempt to build/ analyze the relationship of proactive personality with careerism which was not fully captured in the previous literature. In addition, the current study conducted a comparative analysis for male and female to identify the proactive behaviors in handling their careers. The population for the current was study selected from different private FMCG related firms. The analysis revealed that proactive personality has a significant relationship with careerism. Female respondents report lower proactive behavior than male. Overall the results supported three hypotheses and the one related to moderation was rejected.

The aim of the present study was to focus on the relationship of Spirituality with Depression, Anxiety and Stress of Yoga practitioners. The sample of 40 male and 40 female yoga practitioners from Hubli-Dharwad constituted the sample for study. The DASS and FACIT Spirituality scales were administered. The results revealed a Significant relationship existing between Spirituality and Depression (r=-.54; P<.01), Spirituality and Anxiety ( r=-.28; P<.01) Spirituality and Stress ( r=-57;P<.01). Further Regression analysis revealed the significant contribution of factors like reading journal monthly, marital status and income to Anxiety, journal reading, Marital status, visiting websites of Yoga and income significantly contributed to Depression and finally reading journal, income contributed to Stress of Male and Female Yoga practitioner. The social implications of findings are discussed.

Health is the one of readiness factors in marriage. Towards the wedding, usually thebody image will be a concern. A diet to get the ideal body is often to found. The results showedthat the percentage of anemia in WUS who were not married was greater than WUS who werealready married. This study aimed to determine the relationship of body image, level ofnutritional adequacy, nutritional status, and anemia status in premarital women. An observational study with cross sectional approach. A number of 65 respondents wereselected by accidental sampling. The data were obtained through interviews usingquestionnaire (respondent characteristics, body shape questionare-34), anthropometricmeasurements (weight, height, body mass index, nutritional status), and blood sampling(hemoglobin levels). The data were analyzed using Chi-Square Test. The results showed a significant relationship between body image and anemia status(p<0,05). There was no significant relationship between the level of energy sufficiency,protein, fat, iron, zinc, and vitamin C with anemia status (p>0,05). There was no significantrelationship between nutritional status and anemia status (p>0,05). The conclusion is thatonly body image has a significant relationship to anemia status.Key words : anemia, body image,  nutrition

The purpose of this study to determine: 1) the relationship of pedagogical competence and emotional intelligence and self-efficacy of teachers; 2) the relationship between the pedagogic competence with self-efficacy of teachers; 3) the relationship between emotional intelligence and self-efficacy of teachers; 4) donations or role pedagogic competence, emotional intelligence to the self-efficacy of teachers / study subjects are elementary school teachers in the district Jebres totalled 150 teachers. Collecting data using a scale of pedagogic competence, emotional intelligence scale, and self-efficacy scale. Data were analysed using regression analysis and stepwise two predictors. Based on the calculation, the correlation coefficient R = 0.739, F regression = 88.655; p = 0.000 (p <0.01). These results showed that there was a significant relationship between pedagogical competence, emotional intelligence and self-efficacy of teachers. Results rx1y correlation of R = 0.606, p = 0.000 (p <0.05). Meaning there is a very significant positive between pedagogical competences with self-efficacy of teachers. Correlation analysis rx2y of R = 0.714, p = 0.000 (p <0.05). Meaning there is a very significant positive emotional intelligence and self-efficacy of teachers. The conclusion of this study is that there was a significant relationship between pedagogical competence, emotional intelligence and self-efficacy of teachers. This means that variable pedagogical competence and emotional intelligence can be used as a predictor for predicting self-efficacy of teachers. The variable pedagogical competence contribute 15,3 % to variable self-efficacy while the variable emotional intelligence contribute 39,4%. Therefore structured training is needed to improve teacher’s quality especially in pedagogical competence area.

  The present study aimed at revealing the relationship of self-assertiveness in psychological security and emotional intelligence among a sample of middle adolescence students in north Jordan. The study sample consisted of (1672) male and female students, to achieve the objectives of the study. The results of the study showed that the members of the study sample obtained a medium degree of self-assertiveness and psychological security, and emotional intelligence. The results showed that there was a statistically significant relationship between self-assertiveness and psychological security, and emotional intelligence.

This research aimed: (1) to find out the relationship between self-efficacy and Buddhist youth’s interest in attending religious activity, (2) to find out the relationship between group solidarity and Buddhist youth’s interest in attending religious activity, and (3) to find out the relationship of self- efficacy and group solidarity to Buddhist youth’s interest in attending religious activity in Getasan Sub District. The sample of research consisted of 116 Buddhist youth in Getasan Sub District, aged 16 – 30 years. Technique of collecting data used was questionnaire. There were three questionnaires used: questionnaires of self-efficacy, group solidarity, and Buddhist youth’s interest in attending the activity. The data obtained was processed using multiple correlational analysis using SPSS program version 19.0. The results of research showed as follows. (1) There was relationship between self-efficacy and group solidarity, 0.571 with significance level of 0.000, (2) there was a relationship between group solidarity and Buddhist youth’s interest in attending religious activity, with score of 0.78 at significance level of 0.000. (3) There was a relationship of self-efficacy and group solidarity to Buddhist youth’s interest in attending religious activity, with score of 0.572 at significance level of 0.000. This research showed the regarding the size of relationship, the strongest relationship among the three variables was the one between group solidarity and Buddhist youth’s interest, 0.780.

Abstract. This study aimed to investigate the relationship of employee strengths use with thriving at work by proposing a moderated mediation model. Data were collected at two time points, spaced by a 2-week interval. A total of 260 medical staff completed strengths use, perceived humble leadership, self-efficacy, and thriving scales. The results of path analysis showed that strengths use is positively related to thriving, and self-efficacy mediates the relationship of strengths use with thriving. In addition, this study also found perceived humble leadership to positively moderate the direct relationship of strengths use with self-efficacy and the indirect relationship of strengths use with thriving via self-efficacy. This study contributes to a better understanding of how and when strengths use affects thriving.

Earnings management is the moral hazard problem of manager that adses because of the conflict of interest between the manager as agent and the stakeholder and the owner as principal. The behavior of earnings management will immediately influence the reported earning. The aims of this research at examining the relationship of board and audit committe to earnings management. The samples of this research is all of companies member Corporate Governance Perception Index (CGPI) in the years of 2003-2006 which were listed in Jakarta Stock Exchange. The results of this study show that (1) the proportion of independent directors on the board had not significant relationship to earning management, (2) competence of independent directors on the board had not significant relationship to earning management, (3) the size of board had significant relationship to earning management, (4) the proportion of independent directors on the audit committe had not significant relationship to earning management, and (5) competence of members of the audit committe had significant relationship to earning management.
