Purpose: to identify the relationship of sorption of a complex sorbent with a temperature factor and its mathematical substantiation. Material and methods. As a material for the study, a complex sorbent obtained from a mixture of perlite and agroionite in a ratio of 27:73 was used. The experiment was carried out in laboratory conditions at different temperatures. At certain intervals, when measuring the total salinity of the solutions, the temperature parameter was also measured. During the study, the air temperature was measured. For the experiment, a model water of three salinity levels: 3.1; 5; 7 g/l was used. The weighed portions of a mixture of sorbents weighing 27.5 g with model solutions, 300 ml each, were placed in a reservoir. Measurements were carried out after 5; 10; 20; 30 min; 1; 2; 24; 48 h using a HI 8733 conductometer from Hanna. Results. As a result of the study, the dynamics of the salinity of the model water under the action of a complex sorbent was obtained, a scatter diagram was constructed. It is a statistical analysis tool, with the help of which the dependence and the nature of the relationship between the two process parameters are revealed. According to the results obtained, it can be concluded that there is a positive relationship in the experiments performed. The efficiency of the process depends on temperature readings with a slight deviation. Thus, at an average temperature of 26.3 °C, the total mineralization index is lower than at an average temperature of 19.8 °C. Conclusions. By constructing a scatter diagram and a matrix scatter diagram, a nonlinear relationship between sorption by a complex sorbent and the temperature factor was revealed.

Purpose: This paper investigates the relationship between penalty magnitude, attitude towards VAT compliance, subjective norms and perceived behavioural control on VAT compliance intention among SMEs in Nigeria. Methodology: Data was gathered through administration of 30 questionnaires. The respondents are SMEs in Kano, Nigeria. 23 indicator items were measured on 5-point Likert Scale from 1 (strongly disagree) to 5 (strongly agree). IBM SPSS Statistics 23 was employed as the primary statistical analysis tool for the study. Findings: The result indicates positive relationship of penalty magnitude, subjective norms and perceived behavioural control on VAT compliance intention, while attitude towards VAT compliance has negative relationship with VAT compliance intention. Implications: This study recommends a blend of economic and socio-psychological factors in tackling VAT compliance among SMEs, as that will encourage the SMEs to remit the VAT collections and also assist the policy makers to map-out policies that would ensure an effective management of VAT revenue and compliance among SMEs in Nigeria and other developing countries. Further studies on a larger number of respondents should be conducted to test the consistency of the results.

The respiratory rates of three species of planktonic copepods, Acartia clausi, Centropages hamatus and Temora longicornis, were measured at four different temperatures. The relationship between respiratory rate and temperature was found to be similar to that previously found for Calanus, although the slope of the curves differed in the different species. The observations on Centropages at 13 and 170 C. can be divided into two groups and it is suggested that the differences are due to the use of copepods from two different generations. The relationship between the respiratory rates and lengths of Acartia and Centropages agreed very well with that previously found for other species. That for Temora was rather different: the difference is probably due to the distinct difference in the shape of the body of Temora from those of the other species. The application of these measurements to estimates of the food requirements of the copepods is discussed.

Significant research explores effectiveness of entrepreneurial curriculum, teaching innovations and programs, but less often studied is the role of entrepreneurship educators. The way that the educator sees his or her role relative to the students is of critical importance because this directly influences pedagogy choices, expectations for students and learning outcomes, as well as job satisfaction. While recent studies propose typologies characterizing pedagogical approaches of educators, few of these are based on the data from entrepreneurship educators. Framed within role identity theory, we conducted 13 in–depth interviews to examine how entrepreneurship educators perceive their role. Using the qualitative data analysis tool (NVivo), we analyzed how the relationship between their perceptions of their role and core value orientation is connected to teaching approaches. Results show that these educators view their roles as teacher-focused, network-focused, or student-focused and that these perspectives are associated with different perceptions of students’ role and learning objectives. Further, we find different levels of emphasis on roles and that personal core values are differentially linked to these roles. Implications and future research directions are discussed.

In any natural area or water body, evapotranspiration is one of the important outcomes in the water balance equation. As a significant method and depending on monthly average temperature, estimating of potential Evapotranspiration depending on Thornthwaite method was adopted in this research review. Estimate and discuss evapotranspiration by using Thornthwaite method is the main objectives of this research review with considerable details as well as compute potential evapotranspiration based on climatologically data obtained in Iraq. Temperature - evapotranspiration relationship can be estimated between those two parameters to reduce cost and time and facilitate calculation of water balance in lakes, river, and hydrogeological basins. The relationship was obtained using Thornthwaite method in Iraq by dividing the area into seven sectors according to geographic latitude. Each sector has multi meteorological stations where thirty two stations were used with different periods of records. A mathematical relationship was obtained between mean temperature and corrected potential evapotranspiration with (97.45) to (99.84) coefficient of determination. The mean temperature has a decreasing pattern from southern east towards northern west of Iraq affected by Mediterranean Sea climate conditions, while corrected potential evapotranspiration has the opposite direction regarding increased value because of a direct relationship with temperature.

Weak financial accountability reflects the lack of effectiveness of internal audits. The purpose of this research was to test and provide the evidence of the determinants of the effectiveness of internal audits at the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (KKP). The samples of this research were 31 internal auditors and 31 KKP employees. This research was explanatory research. To test the hypotheses, the data of the research questionnaire data were analysed using Partial Least Squares (PLS) analysis tool. The results show that the relationship between internal auditors and external auditors, organizational independence, and auditee perceptions positively influences the effectiveness of internal audits. However, audit professionalism does not have a positive effect towards the effectiveness of internal audits and the management support cannot be a moderating variable. This finding can open the horizons of interested parties, especially KKP leaders, to consider policies that can improve the effectiveness of internal audits to improve organizational goals and performance.
