The main focus of this study is boosting students’ speaking ability by using mingle music technique. The data were taken from  the second semester students of English Language  Study program of STKIP Persada Khatulistiwa Sintang , in Academic  Year 2018/2019 which consisted of  22 students. A classroom action research design was employed in this research. In collecting the data, researchers used observation checklist, field note, and interview The research was conducted in two cycles, where in each cycle consisted of 1 meeting. It took 150 minutes for 3sks.The result showed that the students’ involvement in teaching learning process  improved from cycle 1 to cycle 2.Mingle music technique engaged the students to be more active in the classroom. It enable the students to have more practises in speaking with diffrent students and material. It can be concluded that the implementation of mingle music technique succeeded boosting students’ speaking ability.Keywords: Mingle Music Technique, Students’ Speaking Ability.

The purpose of this study is to find out whether the triple P model can Improve the students' speaking skills. This research is a Classroom Action Research which applied to the students of English Language and Literature Study Program of Sawerigading University the academic year of 2016/2017. During the learning process, students are taught using ‘Triple P’ model. This model includes three activities; presentation, practice and production. In general it can be concluded that this model could motivate the students to speak confidently in the classroom and showed the improvement of students’ creativity on teaching learning process, their ability to express their own ideas, and their ability to interact or communicate with their friends.

AbstractThe objectives of this study were to explain the problems faced by engineering students of Semarang State Polytechnic in their presentation skills, to describe the implementation of demonstration strategy using modeling videos in improving the students’ self-confidence and practice in their presentation and the improvement when the strategy was applied. The research design of this study was classroom action research. The subjects were 20 engineering students from Telecommunication Study Program of Semarang State Polytechnic. The study was conducted by doing observation, giving pre test and posttest and questionnaire. The actions were conducted in three cycles. The findings showed that the implementation of demonstration strategy using modeling videos was able to improve the engineering students’ self-confidence and practice in their presentation skills. First, the students were actively involved in the teaching learning process. It could be seen from the result of observation sheet done by the researcher. There was an improvement of 3.3 points. Second, the posttest result showed significant progress from the pre test score, which was 69.8 into 84.95.

One of learners’ difficulties in the English language subject is writing. It also happened at MTs Darussalam Sengkubang, Kalimantan Barat. This classroom action research was conducted in the MTs to solve the learners’ difficulty in writing recount texts. The classroom action research that was used in this study consisted of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting in cyclical process. In this research, the data were collected using field note, observation checklist, interview guideline, documentation, and individual test. The finding was that there was improvement on learners’ behavior in the process of teaching and learning through the implementation of clustering technique. The researcher concluded that clustering technique was improving the learners’ ability in generating ideas in recount text writing. Therefore,clustering technique could help the learners in learning process because this technique encouraged learners to learn actively.

The study was about improving students’ vocabulary through English song. The subject of the study were first semester students of English language study program, STKIP Persada Khatulistiwa Sintang,Academic Year 2018/2019 which consisted of 22 students. This study aimed to increase students’ vocabulary through songs.The method of this research was qualitative research and the object was teaching vocabulary through English song.This was classroom action research which consisted of one cycle.In collecting the data, the researchers used observation sheet, Fieldnotes and test. The result of this research showed that the use of song succeeded improving students’ vocabulary. The result of the test shown that  mean score was 80,25, it was good cathegory.The improvement of the teaching learning process was based on the improvement of teaching learning behaviour in the classroom. The change of behaviour was notified from the classroom observation, fieldnotes which were discussed with the collaborator in the reflection stage. Song was found out helpful to improve students’ vocabulary mastery for first semester students of English language study program, STKIP Persada Khatulistiwa Sintang, Academic year 2018/2019.Keywords: Vocabulary Mastery, English Songs

This research was conducted based on the problems found from observation in the teaching and learning process. This research aimed to investigate how the use of storytelling technique through webtoon improved students' confidence in speaking to class X IPS 3 students of SMA Negeri 5 Pontianak Utara in academic year 2018/2019. The method implemented in this research was Classroom Action Research with two cycles. The subjects of the research were 32 students of class X IPS 3. In collecting the data, the writer used observation checklist table, field notes, and questionnaires. The result showed that students’ confidence in speaking improved by using storytelling technique through webtoon. Most of them are active in speaking English in the classroom. In conclusion, storytelling technique through webtoon was useful to help students to improve their confidence in speaking English. Thus, the writer recommends the teacher to use storytelling technique in teaching learning speaking to the student.This research was conducted based on the problems found from observation in the teaching and learning process. The purpose of this research is to know whether Learning Model of Group Investigation can increase the students’achievement of XI MIPA 1 SMAN 1 Pemalang on the third semester in academic year 2021/2022.The subject of this classroom action research is the students of XI MIPA 1 of SMAN 1 Pemalang on third semester in academic year 2021/2022. The research variable consists of students and teacher variable. The students variable can be seen on their ability on solving the questions, while the teacher variable is seen by considering the way she plan the lesson and she conducts the classroom activity. This research is conducted in 3 cycles and each cycle consists of 4 steps, those are planning, conducting, observing and rfeflecting. The indicators of its success is measured when at least 75 % students achieve the learning completion after the implementation of Group Investigation Model. From the result of this classroom action research, it is gained that the students’achievement in English especially in ‘If Conditional’ can increase significantly. The increasing of the achievement can be shown by: 1) The average of students’achievement on cycle I is 7.14, on cycle II is 7.44, and on cycle III is 8.44, and then students learning completion on cycle I is 17 students or 47.22%, on cycle II is 22 students or 72,22 %, and on cycle III is 36 students or 100 %, and finally the classical learning completion on cycle I is 47.22 %, Cycle II is 72.22 %, and on Cycle III achieving 100%. It means that students achievement on English ‘If Conditional’ can increase in every cycle and it has completed indicator that has been determined. Beside that, there is an increasing students activity during the teaching learning process, both individually and classically. Based on the distribution of questionnaire for the students, it can be seen that students’ respond of XI MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Pemalang on the third Semester in academic year 2021/2022 toward the implementation of Group Investigation Model achieving 83.14 % state that they extremely agree or in a high category. ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah dengan Model Pembelajaran Group Investigation dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar Bahasa Inggris siswa kelas XI MIPA-1 semester gasal Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 1 Pemalang tahun pelajaran 2021/2022.Subjek penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah siswa kelas XI MIPA-1 Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 1 Pemalang pada Semester Gasal Tahun Pelajaran 2021/2022. Variabel penelitian ini terdiri dari variabel siswa dan variabel guru. Variabel siswa dengan melihat kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal, sedangkan variabel guru yaitu dengan melihat cara guru membuat rencana pembelajaran dan bagaimana pelaksanaannya di dalam kelas.Penelitian dilakukan dengan tiga siklus dan masing-masing siklus terdiri atas empat tahapan, yakni: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Indikator keberhasilan ditetapkan bila minimal terdapat 75% siswa mencapai ketuntasan belajar setelah diterapkan Model Group Investigation. Dari hasil peneltian tindakan ini diperoleh informasi bahwa ada peningkatan prestasi belajara Bahasa Inggris siswa kelas XI MIPA-1 Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 1 Pemalang pada Semester Gasal Tahun Pelajaran 2021/2022. Peningkatan itu ditunjukkan dengan: (1) rata-rata prestasi belajar siswa pada siklus I adalah 7,14; pada siklu siklus II adalah 7,44; dan pada siklus III adalah 8,44 (2) ketuntasan belajar siswa pada siklus I adalah 17 siswa atau 47,22%; siklus II adalah 22 siswa atau 72,22%; dan pada siklus III adalah 36 siswa atau 100%; (3) ketuntasan belajar klasikal pada siklus I adalah 47,22%; siklus II adalah 72,22%; dan pada siklus III mencapai 100,00%. Ini berarti prestasi belajar Bahasa Inggris siswa mengalami peningkatan pada setiap siklus dan sudah melampaui indikator yang telah ditentukan. Disamping itu juga ada peningkatan aktivitas siswa selama proses pembelajaran, baik secara individu maupun secara kelompok.Berdasarkan hasil penyebaran angket untuk siswa menunjukkan bahwa respon siswa kelas XI MIPA-1 Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 1 Pemalang pada Semester Gasal Tahun Pelajaran 2021/2022 terhadap pelaksanaan Model Group Investigation mencapai 83,14% menyatakan sangat setuju atau dalam kategori tinggi.

To get good result in learning process, teacher should be able to improve herself  by using many kinds of methods so that the result can be improved and students can be active in teaching learning process. The purpose of this research is to know whether the use of discussion and giving task can improve learning achievement in a material of economic growth at the class of XI IPS 4 SMAN 1 Punggur year 2015/2016. To get good result in learning process teacher should be able to improve herself  by using many kinds of methods so the result can be improved and students can be active in teaching learning process. The purpose of this research is to know whether the use of discussion and giving task can improve learning achievement in a material of economic growth at the class of XI IPS 4 SMAN 1 Punggur year 2015/2016. The location of this research is in SMAN 1 Punggur. It is done for 3 months , August to October 2015. Subject of this research is Class XI IPS 4 of  SMAN 1 Punggur in the academic year of 2015/ 2016.  Technique of collecting data used are : observation, documentation and data analysis interview by using qualitative descriptive analysis. Research procedure uses classroom action research method that consists of 2 cycles. The result of the classroom action research shows that In pre cycle, students who pass / succeed are 10 from 31 students or 32.14% and fail students are 21 from 31 students or equal to 6.86 %. After getting treatment in the first cycle, passed students increases to 22 from 31 students or 75% while fail students decrease 10 from 31 students or 25%. In the second cycle, passed students increases to 29 from 31 students or 92.86% while failed students only 2 from 31 students. Based on the data above it can be concluded that by using discussion method and giving task can improve thestudents’ economy achievement with economic growth material at the XIGrade of Social Science 4 in SMAN 1 Punggur on odd semester in the academic year of 2015/2016is true. Keywords : Discussion method and giving task, Learning achievement.

The implementation of the portfolio assessment in the project learning model is intended to identify the improvement made by the students in the food production learning, and the response given by the students to the implementation of the portfolio assessment in the project learning model. This classroom action research involved 23 students from the study program of food production of Ganesha University of Education during 2014/2015 academic year. The study was conducted in two cycles through the stage in which it was designed, the stage in which it was implemented, the stage in which observation was made, and the stage in which reflection was evaluated. The data were collected using the observation technique in which the learning process and product were observed. The observation sheet of process included preparing, processing, and serving dishes. The observation sheet of products included appearance, texture, aroma and taste aspects through the organoleptic test. The data were descriptively analyzed. The result of the study showed that the learning creativity of food production in cycle 1 averaged 79.15 and could be categorized as good, in cycle 2 the learning creativity averaged 87.08 and could be categorized as very good. This means that the improvement of the learning creativity of food production made by the students through the implementation of the portfolio assessment in the learning project was 7.93. The response given by the students to the implementation of the portfolio assessment in the project learning model could be categorized as good and averaged 81.27.

This study aims to describe the learning steps by using the Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) approach that can improve students 'mathematical reasoning, so that students' mathematical reasoning problems are well resolved in the learning process. Classroom Action Research). The research design consists of several actions, one action is called a cycle. The activities of each cycle consist of four main activities, namely planning (planning), action (action), observation (observation), and reflection (reflection). The CTL strategy used in this study includes: Relating, Cooperating, Experiencing, Appliying, Transfering. The results of the study show that: (1) Implementation of learning with an approach consists of: Students observe problems, write problems, solve problems, and students discuss problems; (2) Mathematical reasoning of students who study using CTL has increased; (3) Learning with CTL is favored by students.

Abstract This action research is intended to improve learning outcomes by memorization or mahfudzat. It aims specifically at describing the ability of teachers in managing learning with mahfudzat method on Geography of class X IPS Unggulan 2 MAN 1 Model Bojonegoro, academic year of 2016/2017. This research is a classroom action research, because it comes from the problems of teachers who teach in the classroom and take action to overcome the problems in the classroom, with the type of quantitative methods. The results of this research reveal that the ability of teachers in managing learning by applying the method of mahfudzat in the lesson of Geography can improve the learning outcomes of the students of class X IPS Unggulan 2 MAN 1 Model Bojonegoro academic year 2016/2017. ملخص يهدف هذا البحث الإجرائي على سبيل العموم إلى ترقية نتائج التعلم باستخدام طريقة حفظ المحفوظات، وعلى سبيل الخصوص لتصوير قدرة المدرس في إدارة التعليم باستخدام طريقة حفظ المحفوظات في مادة الجغرافية، حيث يستطيع أن ينمي نتائج تعلم الطلبة من فصل إيكس قسم العلوم الاجتماعية النموذجي الثاني بالمدرسة الثانوية الحكومية الأولى النموذجية ببوجونيجورو .هذا البحث من نوع البحث الإجرائي للفصل، 2017/2016 سنة دراسية وذلك لأنه يأتي من مشكلات المدرس الذي يدرس في الفصل ويقوم بإجراء العمل لحل المشكلة في الفصل، وهو من البحث الكمي .ومن نتائج تحليل هذا البحث هي :أن قدرة المدرس في إدارة التعليم باستخدام طريقة حفظ المحفوظات في مادة جغرافية تستطيع أن تنمي نتائج تعلم الطلبة في فصل إيكس قسم العلوم الاجتماعية النموذجي الثاني بالمدرسة الثانوية الحكومية الأولى النموذجية .2017/2016 ببوجونيجورو سنة دراسية Abstrak Penelitian tindakan ini mempunyai tujuan secara umum adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dengan metode hapalan atau mahfudzat dan secara khusus untuk mendiskripsikan kemampuan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran dengan metode mahfudzat pada materi pengertian geografi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas X IPS unggulan 2 MAN 1 Model Bojonegoro tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas, karena berasal dari permasalahan guru yang mengajar di dalam kelas dan melakukan tindakan untuk mengatasi permasalah di kelas, dengan jenis metode Kuantitatif. Hasil analisis data penelitian ini adalah; Kemampuan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran dengan penerapan metode mahfudzat pada pelajaran Geografi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas X IPS unggulan 2 MAN 1 Model Bojonegoro tahun pelajaran 2016/2017.
