The objective of this research is to examine the difference of abnormal return, and companies’ financial performance, before and after merger or acquisition. The companies’ financial performances are projected by financial ratios, which are return on asset and return on equity. This research is expected to help economic actors in making economic decisions related to merger and acquisition. The samples in this study are 11 companies that listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (Bursa Efek Indonesia) in the year 2010-2011, except financial sectors and done corporate action merger or acquisition. The sample in this study determined based on purposive sampling. Data used in this study is secondary data such as annual reports or financial reports. The results from this study are (1) there is no difference of abnormal return before and after merger or acquisition (2) there is no difference of companies’ financial performance that projected by return on asset before and after merger or acquisition (3) there is a difference of companies’ financial performance that projected by return on equity before and after merger or acquisition. The purpose of this study is to provide empirical evidence of the effects of the Loan to Value (LTV) policy on the financial performance of property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The sample selection uses a purposive sampling method of 42 property and real estate companies that meet the criteria. The research period is divided into 2 namely before the Loan to Value policy (2013-2014) and after the Loan to Value policy (2016-2017) with the Paired Sample t Test analysis technique. The test results show if the current ratio, Return on Asset, Return on Equity and Debt to Asset have significant differences between before and after the LTV policy is applied. While the fast ratio, cash ratio, net profit margin and Debt to Equity did not show a significant difference. This study aims to analyze funding decisions on capital structure through trade off theory in property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2015-2018. Profitability is measured using the return on equity ratio, asset structure is measured by fixed assets ratio and funding decisions are measured by debt. to equity ratio. The population of this research is property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2015-2018. The data analyzed is secondary data in financial reports or annual reports. The sample selection used purposive sampling method and the sample obtained in this study were 40 data from 10 companies. In this research, the analytical method used is descriptive statistics, classical assumption test, multiple regression analysis and statistical test. The results of the analysis in this study indicate that there is no effect of profitability on funding decisions, there is an effect of asset structure on funding decisions. This shows that the asset structure influences the company's decision making in funding.

This study aims to examine the differences infinancial performance and abnormal returns in the period before and after the announcement of the merger of the companies listed on the Stock Exchange in the period 2004-2013. In this study the measurement of financial performance using four financial ratios which are the current ratio (CR), the net profit margin (NPM), return on equity(ROE) and price earnings ratio (PER), while the abnormal return is measured using the market return and the actual return. This study used purposive sampling in the sampling study. Company samples tested here are 8 companies from various different types of industries. Hypothesis testing is performed using paired sample t test with a confidence level of 5%. The test results of financial performance in the proxy with the current ratio (CR), the net profit margin (NPM), return on equity (ROE) and price earnings ratio (PER) its how sthe difference before and after the announcement of the merger on the companies listed on the Stock Exchange period 2004-2013.

This study attempts to examine empirical evidence of the firms’ financial performances conducting acquisition at the Indonesian Stock Exchange. A sample of 22 firms undertaking acquisition during 2007-20010 is examined. The t-test for mean difference is employed to examine the performance for the period prior to and after the acquisition. The results show that the firms’ liquidity ratio is not significantly different for the periods before and after acquisition. Total debt to total assets ratio and total debt to equity ratio are significantly different. In particular, the average of these two ratios is higher in the period after the acquisition. This study also documents that the firm activity ratio, measured as total assets turnover, is indifferent between the periods. In addition, the firms’ return on investment and return on equity is lowering after acquisition and the difference is significant. The purpose of this study is to analyze differences in the financial performance of pharmaceutical companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This type of research is descriptive research with a quantitative approach, the data source used is secondary data, namely data in the form of company’s annual financial reports from 2015 - 2019 attached to the IDX website. Data collection techniques in this study use documentation techniques. Research population Pharmaceutical companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, sampling using purposive sampling method, namely PT. Kalbe Farma Tbk (KLBF) PT. Kimia Farma, (KAEF), and PT. Pharos Tbk (PEHA). The data analysis technique used in this research is the Profitability Ratio Net Profit Margin (NPM), Return On Asset (ROA), Return On Equity (ROE) analysis technique, namely 5 periods of financial statements for each of 3 pharmaceutical companies using standard ratio analysis. industry profitability by cashmere. The results showed that the differences in the financial performance of 3 pharmaceutical companies listed on the IDX were seen from the profitability ratio of Net Profit Margin (NPM) for 5 years, namely PT. Kalbe Farma Tbk, PT. Kimia Farma Tbk is not very good and PT. Pharos Indonesia, Tbk is not good enough. Return On Asset (ROA). PT. Kalbe Farma Tbk, PT. Kimia Farma Tbk is not very good and PT. Pharos Indonesia, Tbk is not very good. Return On Equity (ROE) The financial performance of PT. Kalbe Farma Tbk, PT. Kimia Farma Tbk is not very good and PT. Pharos Indonesia, Tbk is not very good.

This Research aims to find out the difference between the average of abnormal return and trading volume activity of the transportation companies’ stocks listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange, a period 2014-2018 before and after Ramadhan. The research method is a quantitative method. Th kind of data used is secondary data. The sample is 11 transportation companies listed ini Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period of 2014-2018, while the sampling technique applies purposive sampling. The findings show that there is no difference on the average of abnormal return before and after Ramdahan, and there is no difference on the average of trading volume activity in 2015 and 2018, whereas in 2014, 2016, and 2017 there is a difference on the average of trading volume activity. Meanwhile, the abnormal return and trading volume activity simultaneously influence toward Ramadhan effect with the result of the coefficient determination of 50%, it means that 50% of Ramadhan effect variable is explained by return and trading volume activity.

This study uses secondary data in the form of Bandung City government financial reports from 2014 to 2018. The financial performance of the City of Bandung is measured by financial ratios then compared with performance indicators. The results showed that the ratio of independent regional finance, the ratio of effectiveness of regional income, and growth of regional income. Kinerja keuangan Kota Bandung diukur dengan rasio keuangan kemudian dibandingkan dengan indikator kinerja. This study is entitled comparative analysis of financial performance before and after mergers-acquisitions in companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) Period 2015. The purpose of this study is to determine differences in financial performance before and after mergers and acquisitions of companies listed on the IDX measured using the ratio Total Asset Turnover, Return On Asset, and Net Profit Margin with Purposive Sampling techniques. This type of data source is secondary data taken from the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (www.idx.co.id). The data taken is the data of financial statements and annual reports and sampling conducted with certain criteria. The population used in this study are companies that have merged and are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, as many as 15 companies. The choice of location or place of research on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) through the official website www.idx.co.id (2019), the reason for choosing this location is because all data such as financial statements can be trusted. Based on the determined sample criteria from 15 merger-acquisition companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX), 12 sample companies were obtained that met these criteria. The data analysis method used is descriptive analysis to analyze data by describing or describing the data that has been collected as it is without making conclusions that apply to the public or generalizations. Then the data collected was tested for normality and paired sample t-test with the help of the SPSS 22 application program.

This study aims to test whether there are differences in corporate financial performance between before and after participating in ISRA. This study uses secondary data. The variables in this research are financial performance from profitability ratio that includes return on asset (ROA), return on equity (ROE), net profit margin (NPM). The sample of this research consist of 13 companies with purposive sampling method that is company which become participant of Indonesian Sustainability Reporting Awards consistently three consecutive year in 2007-2011 period. Data collection of research samples can be accessed through the company website and website National Center of Sustainability Reporting and the company publishes Annual Financial Reports in 2004-2014 that can be accessed through the company website. Hypothesis testing was done by paired sample t-test technique using IBM SPSS version 20 software. The result showed that there was no difference of company performance between before and after participated in Indonesian Sustainability Reporting Awards.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, some sectors are predicted to grow while many other sectors slump. This study aims to prove the difference in financial performance between companies in the Food and Beverages, Tobacco Manufacturers, Pharmaceuticals, Cosmetics and Household, and Houseware Sub-Sectors during the Covid-19 pandemic. Measurement of financial performance using the ratio of Return on Assets (ROA) and Return on Equity (ROE). The sample was determined purposively and 44 companies were selected as samples. Methods of data collection using documentation techniques. The research data was obtained from the company's financial statements, annual reports, summary of IDX listed companies, and the IDX Facts Book. Data obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data analysis technique used Multivariate Analysis of Variance (MANOVA). Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the financial performance of the Cosmetics and household, Food and Beverages, and Tobacco Manufacturers sub-sector companies decreased during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The Houseware and Pharmaceuticals sub-sector achieved a significant increase during the Covid-19 Pandemic. There is a significant difference between the financial performance of the Cosmetics and household, Food and Beverages, Houseware, Pharmaceuticals, and Tobacco Manufacturers sub-sector companies listed on IDX before and during the Covid-19 Pandemic.
