Translator training in the coordinates of the global educational space implies an integrative approach to unification and at the same time extension of theoretical, methodological and didactic approaches. At the same time, the search for effective ways and tools of interaction is carried out at different levels – academic, professional communities, individual persons, since the profession of a translator implies communication without borders, networking and constant expansion of the circle of partnerships. This article analyzes the effectiveness of one of the current tools for interuniversity cooperation in the format of Staff Week internships, integrated into the Erasmus + academic mobility program, in the focus of its validity and functionality in training translators. The study provides an analysis of domestic and foreign scientific and educational works on the scientific, didactic potential of the program, a review of the current state of affairs in the field of intercollegiate cooperation within Erasmus + on the example of the Russian university – Volgograd State University and the German university – International University SDI Munich. These universities have been developing partnership relations since the 90s, however, Erasmus has been cooperating with them recently and quite successfully. The material of the study is an overview of the structure and content of the Staff Week internships of Volgograd State University teachers at SDI Munich. The Intercultural component of interaction is effectively manifested in the optimization of didactic models in the partner university, updating of curricula, expanding the horizons of joint projects, which certainly contributes to improving the quality of educational services in the field of translation and promotes the integration of education in general. The results of this research can be useful for the organization of the educational process in university educational programs in the areas of training specialists in the field of translation and intercultural communication.

Purpose Although there has been an increase in workplace studies on professional agency, few of these have examined the role of emotions in the enactment of agency at work. To date, professional agency has been mainly conceptualised as a goal-oriented, rational activity aimed at influencing a current state of affairs. Challenged by this, this study aims to elaborate the nature and quality of emotions and how they might be connected to the enactment of professional agency. Design/methodology/approach Data are collected in the context of a leadership coaching programme that aimed to promote the leaders’ professional agency over the course of a year. The participants (11 middle-management leaders working in university and hospital contexts) were interviewed before and after the programme, and the data were analysed using qualitative content analysis. Findings Findings showed that emotions played an important role in the leaders’ enactment of professional agency, as it pertained to their work and to their professional identity. The study suggests that enacting professional agency is by no means a matter of purely rational actions. Practical implications The study suggests that emotional agency can be learned and enhanced through group-based interventions reflecting on and processing one’s own professional roles and work. Originality/value As a theoretical conclusion, the study argues that professional agency should be reconceptualised in such a way as to acknowledge the importance of emotions (one’s own and those of one’s fellow workers) in practising agency within organisational contexts.

It was found that systematic monitoring of the quality of education is necessary for effective management, informed decision-making, comparison and adequate assessment of the state of professional training. This task is successfully implemented through SWOT-analysis, which identifies strengths and weaknesses, potential opportunities and potential threats, establishing relationships between them, which can be further used to form quality management strategies for the training of future heads of educational institutions. A SWOT-analysis of the system of training future leaders (managers in the education system) was conducted and a matrix was developed on the example of Mukachevo State University. This made it possible to systematize information about internal and external factors that affect the quality of the educational process. Its results allowed to determine the competitive advantages of professional training, to form strategic priorities (ways) and to get a clear algorithm of further actions. In particular: periodically review educational programs, permanently monitor the market of educational services and resources of Mukachevo State University, systematically take measures to ensure the quality of educational services under the master's educational program «Educational Pedagogical Sciences: Management of Educational Institutions». The article aims to review the experience of creating and launching the ProSiberia platform, and to discuss the prospects for its further development. Based on the aggregation of digital sources of Siberian origin, the ProSiberia project aims to create a research platform that will bring together scholars, content curators (libraries, museums, archives) and society in order to study Siberia and position the region in the global information space. Work on the platform began in 2020 within the framework of the Program for Increasing the Competitiveness of National Research Tomsk State Unversity by the staff of the Tomsk State University Research Library. Now the platform has implemented opportunities both for humanitarian researchers and for civic science representatives (volunteers). For researchers, access to digital copies of texts about Siberia with detailed description and full-text search is organized; it is possible to create one’s own collections of texts; there are some text collaboration tools. It is also possible to find researchers with similar interests and exchange views. A volunteer can edit texts, operate a blog, participate in challenges. The platform is also being filled with new texts. Prospects for the development of the project are considered; they were formulated based on the results of surveys and focus groups. The main directions of development include: work on improving the quality of texts (attracting volunteers for their correct recognition); aggregation of digital tools for the humanities in one place for effective work with texts; attraction of partners; integration into the educational process. The most difficult issue is the aggregation of digital tools. The article lists their most interesting groups: tools for creating and working with digital facsimiles, textometric tools, and a number of tools for working with digitized manuscripts. Thus, at the moment, the initial version of the ProSiberia platform has been created. It allows implementing remotely the basic functions characteristic for any research in the field of humanities. However, most probably, the most important and difficult will be the next stage of the work, which includes, among other things, the aggregation of digital tools for working with the text of interest for the researcher. Therefore, it is extremely important to have a broad discussion in the professional community of both the work already done within the ProSiberia project and the further prospects for its development.

The training of a specialist at a university is determined by the quality of the educational process, during which it is necessary to take into account the situation on the labor market. Successful training largely depends on the students self-education, which is difficult and limited in the context of a pandemic. The conditions of todays realities dictate the methods and forms of the process of self-education of students. During the pandemic, students practice self-education on a remote basis. We consider this form as a complex functional system with its own logic of development and relatively independent stages of learning via the Internet. Changes in various fields of activity are observed daily, which increases the requirements for the quality of education of a competitive individual; the idea of online education using electronic information platforms that serve as a means of self-education of students at the university is analyzed. The process of organizing the educational process in disciplines and tasks from the position of digitalization, through the introduction of modern digital technologies in the process of education of academic courses at the time of the pandemic in the country and the world, becomes significant. The conceptual apparatus considered in the paper: information space, educational space, self-education, competence, competence approach. It clarifies the need to teach the discipline in combination to acquire professional experience; the idea of revealing and enriching the inner potential of each person, his development and self-education throughout his life is substantiated; a detailed analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature is given. The results of a comprehensive study conducted at Chelyabinsk State University confirm the dependence of communicative competence on the students self-education during the pandemic.
