The stock market is a meeting place for investors and go public companies, one of parties included in investors is student of faculty of economics and business that is expected to become an expert in the stock market. Student investor’s attentiveness is influenced by several factors such as the return perception and financial literacy. This study employs a quantitative associative approach while a set of questionnaire were asked to students of Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business, UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh. Using multiple linear regression analysis, it showed that both return perception and financial literacy affect investment attentiveness. However, both independent variables only contribute 29% to affect dependent variable; there are other variables affect the investment attentiveness which were not included in this study. Either adding more variables or using different type of research method is suggested for further study.

This study aims to examine and analyze the simultaneous effect of service quality on student satisfaction, test and analyze the partial effect of service quality on student satisfaction, test and analyze variables that have a dominant influence on student satisfaction. This research method uses multiple linear regression analysis which is used to determine how much influence the independent (independent) variables, namely Tangible, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, Empathy on the dependent variable is student satisfaction. Research site is at STES Ihya 'Ulumiddin Banyuwangi. The study took a sample of 39 people. While the results of this study can be drawn as follows, the variables Tangible, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance and Emphaty simultaneously affect student satisfaction. The partial test of the Reliability variable, Responsiveness, Assurance and Emphaty is positive, but the Tangible variable is negative. Reliability variables are variables that have a dominant and significant influence on student satisfaction.

This study aims to determine the effect of financial literacy and financial inclusion on retirement planning. This study used a quantitative method with 236 respondents and processed by the method of multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study show that financial literacy and financial inclusion have a significant effect on retirement planning, means that the higher financial literacy and financial inclusion of a person, the better their retirement planning. In addition, the results of the study showed that respondents were dominated by moderate financial literacy levels with a percentage of 55.08%, moderate financial inclusion levels with a percentage of 57.20% and high retirement planning levels with presentations of 52.54% of the total respondents. Researchers also conduct additional research by choosing one of the demographic factors, which is monthly income. The results that monthly earnings also influence retirement planning where the higher a person's monthly income, the better their retirement planning.

This study aims to analyze the effect of tax sanctions, tax socialization, tax system, and tax avoidance on the barriers to the tax collection. This research method was quantitative. The population in this study are all individual taxpayers who do free work in Jember Regency. By accidental sampling, the samples are fifty respondents of Individual Taxpayers who do free work. Data collection using a questionnaire, and the data analysis method uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that tax sanctions, tax system, tax avoidance had a significant effect on the obstacles to tax collection, while tax socialization has no significant effect on barriers to tax collection. Since the tax socialization had no impact, fiscus should use the strategy to avoid the barriers of tax collection by using account representative assistance in active counseling to the taxpayer.

Muscle quality is well-known to decrease with aging and is a risk factor for metabolic abnormalities. However, there is a lack of information on race-associated differences in muscle quality and other neuromuscular features related to functional performance. This study aimed to compare muscle quality, function, and morphological characteristics in Japanese and Brazilian older individuals. Eighty-four participants aged 65–87 years were enrolled in the study (42 Japanese: 23 men, 19 women, mean age 70.4 years; 42 Brazilians: 23 men, 19 women, mean age 70.8 years). Echo intensity (EI) and muscle thickness (MT) of the quadriceps femoris were measured using B-mode ultrasonography. A stepwise multiple linear regression analysis with EI as a dependent variable revealed that MT was a significant variable for Japanese participants (R2 = 0.424, P = 0.001), while MT and subcutaneous adipose tissue (SCAT) thickness were significant variables for Brazilian participants (R2 = 0.490, P = 0.001). A second stepwise multiple linear regression analysis was performed after excluding MT and SCAT thickness from the independent variables. Sex and age for Japanese participants (R2 = 0.381, P = 0.001) and lean body mass and body mass index for Brazilian participants (R2 = 0.385, P = 0.001) were identified as significant independent variables. The present results suggest that MT is closely correlated with muscle quality in Japanese and Brazilian older individuals. Increases in muscle size may induce decreases in intramuscular adipose tissue and/or connective tissues, which are beneficial for reducing the risks of metabolic impairments in Japanese and Brazilian older individuals.

This study aims to determine the effect of investment on employment in Central Java in 2009-2013. As it is known that investment plays an important role in the absorption of labor or can reduce unemployment. Thus with the increased investment hence the absorption of labor will also increase. The research method used in this research is quantitative research method. This research was conducted in Central Java. The test used is the instrument using the validity test. Methods of data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis, classical assumption test. The results of this study indicate that the increase can be explained by the regression equation is Y = 16595732.325 + 0.32 X. Where the constant is positive value of 16595732.325 indicates that if the investment variable is considered constant (0), then the value of labor absorption of 16595732,325 . Then the regression coefficient of the investment variable is 0.32, this means that if the investment is increased one unit, it will increase the labor absorption of 0.32.
