Information technology has been considered as a modern development method not only in Vietnam, but also in the world. There have been many studies on factors affecting the success of information system projects in a plenty of countries, but not in Vietnam. In addition, these studies failed to show the relationship between the factors. This study proposes a structural model for the success of information system projects (SISP) in Vietnam. The research results indicate the factors affecting SISP are habit, social influence, easy to use, project qualities (information, system, and service), project objective, information system use intention, information system usage, user satisfaction; and characteristics of information system.

User satisfaction (US) is an important information systems success measure. This paper contributes to our understanding of US in workplace settings by conceptualizing US as resulting from user evaluations of both the attribute level performance of the system and its impacts on the motivating potential of their work. Data was collected from a sample of 154 nurses in a regional public hospital in South Africa who are users of an integrated hospital information system. The authors considered that use of the system has implications for the motivating potential of work through its impacts on skill variety, task identity, significance, autonomy, and work performance. Their results show that a system's impact on motivating potential is significant for US. Moreover, system quality, information quality, and user support attributes of the IS have significant direct effects on US as well as indirect effects through motivating potential. A high performing system is thus important for US as it provides a platform to increase the motivating potential of work.

Faktor-faktor yang paling kuat memengaruhi keberhasilan sistem adalah SU, US, STR, LO, dan SEQ.</p><p> </p><p class="Judul2"><strong><em>Abstract</em></strong></p><p class="Judul2"><em><em>Budgeting performance information system is used to monitor budget performance at the faculty of Sriwijaya University based on Budget Implementation Performance Indicator. The application of information systems with various types of convenience offered can reflect the quality of service of an organization, the quality of service can be said to be very good if the service meets the needs and expectations of users. This kind of evaluation can be done by applying a tested model but problems arise when latent variables in the method used are not fully able to identify factors that influence user satisfaction. From the results of research using the end user satisfaction model, the R-Square value is 0.653, which means that 65.3% of user satisfaction can be found through latent variables found in the EUCS model while the remaining 34.7% can be explained through external variables. This study aims to analyze external factors outside the EUCS model, one of which is by using the information system quality variables contained in the Delone and Mclane information system success model. The way to do this is to add an external variable to the EUCS model and then analyze the outer model and analyze the structural model using the structural equation model. The results showed that the independent system quality variable has a t-statistic value of 3.445 or greater than t-table 1.96 which means that the external latent variables of the Delone and Mclean model can be used to explain the satisfaction factors (from the external variable side) of the user information system on the EUCS model.

This paper describes the development of an electronic sleep diary and outlines its advantages over the traditional paper based approach still used by many sleep centres throughout the world. A sleep diary is a record of sleep details filled in by a patient normally over a period of two weeks. This information is then used by a physician as a diagnostic tool for identify sleep disorders in the patient. The development method used was convergent interviews with sleep specialists in order to establish initial requirements. This was followed by a rapid prototyping approach in order to produce the final specification. This paper concludes that an online sleep diary is a low cost, viable alternative offering benefits to both patients and physicians. The benefits to patients include the ability to perform functional analysis of their own sleep habits (referred to as sleep hygiene) and to determine factors affecting their sleep patterns. This knowledge leads to greater patient understanding of their circumstances and can lead to a potential increase in patient, physician collaboration. The physician gains access to timely accessible patient information as well as to an evidence database that will allow for greater analysis of sleep disorders throughout the general public over time.
