The appearance of @lambe_turah pampers Indonesian people who want to know about the news of their idol artists. From the news delivered in the @lambe_turah account, a lot of it pops up in the comments feature of fans of the artist (loper) and those who don't like the artist (haters). The nitizen comments on the @lambe_turah account lead to negative sentiments, not infrequently using harsh words, provocations, even to the point of using the word sarcasm to thuggery in his comments. This study uses the constructivism paradigm. The nature of this research is descriptive, with a qualitative research approach. Research methods use phenomenology. The theories used in this study are phenomenology theory, constructivism theory and symbolic interaction theory. The results of this study are that there is thuggery in the use of captions which can controversially provoke nitizen comments. The negative comments from the frontiers that lead to the emergence of pramanism on Instagram with the use of harsh and frontal language words resulted in the emergence of thuggery on Instagram. Social media thuggery is displayed in a verbal form, namely the word contained. Social media thuggery happens not because it is intentional, like bullying and ridiculing each other on social media, when there is an argument on social media in the form of discussion or status war in comments, even though there is no physical violence but the social media war can be legal, if one party feels disadvantaged. keywords: Phenomenon, Instagram, Thuggery, Lambe Turah

This study aims to determine the social interaction of Lazis Darul Hikam and the community through Instagram social media and to find out the role of social media Instagram in building awareness of donation in Lazis Darul Hikam. The research uses symbolic interaction theory to photograph how people interact using social media, define the meaning of the symbols conveyed and ultimately lead to actions in this case giving donations. The method used is a qualitative method, the donor Lazis Darul Hikam, an active user of Instagram, is an informant in this study. The results showed that social media has the following roles: (1) Instagram is a medium for inter-institutional interaction with the community to introduce programs and reporting media, (2) Instagram social media is also able to build awareness of donations by collecting funds obtained through social media.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui interaksi sosial Lazis Darul Hikam dan masyarakat melalui media sosial Instagram serta untuk mengetahui peran media sosial Instagram membangun kesadaran berdonasi di Lazis Darul Hikam.  Penelitian menggunakan teori interaksi simbolik untuk memotret bagaimana masyarakat berinteraksi menggunakan media sosial, mendefinisikan makna dari simbol-simbol yang disampaikan dan akhirnya bermuara pada perbuatan dalam hal ini memberikan donasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif, donatur Lazis Darul Hikam pengguna aktif Instagram menjadi informan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa media sosial memiliki peran sebagai berikut: (1) Instagram menjadi media untuk berinteraksi antar lembaga dengan masyarakat untuk memperkenalkan program dan media pelaporan, (2) Media sosial Instagram juga mampu membangun kesadaran berdonasi dengan terkumpulnya dana yang didapatkan melalui media sosial

Komunikasi antarpribadi secara intensif antara pasangan suami-isteri sudah bukan menjadi suatu hal yang penting dalam kehidupan rumah tangga ketika kehadiran media sosial semakin banyak, maju dan berada di genggaman individu modern. Sering dijumpai bahwa pada waktu pasangan (suami atau isteri) lebih banyak untuk chatting dengan teman-teman melalui media sosial salah satunya dengan WhatsApp (WA). Walaupun telihatnya chatting melalui handphone dengan Pria Idalam Lain (PIL) atau Wanita Idaman Lain (WIL), hal itu tentunya menimbulkan kecemburuan, konflik hingga perceraian dengan pasangan Tulisan ini menggunakan study literature. Teori interaksi simbolik (Symbolic Interaction Theory) menekankan pada hubungan antara simbol dan interaksi yang diberi nama Mind, Self, and Society, gejala perubahan sosial dari perspektif teori interaksi dapat dilihat bahwa pasangan suami-isteri yang semakin dalam berinteraksi melalui WA dengan PIL atau WIL akan membuat ketahanan keluarga terancam dan kepercayaan keduanya dapat menurun, serta kontribusi teori komunikasi dalam perspektif teori interaksi yakni Mead menyebut looking-glass-self dan konsep diri yang dihasilkan melalui interaksi. Kata kunci: media sosial, chatting, WhatsApp, pasangan   Intensive interpersonal communication between husband and wife has no longer become an important part domestic life following the advancement social media in the life the modern individual. Often found that when a couple (husband or wife) has more time to chat with friends using social medias. WhatsApp (WA) is one of them. In other case, chatting with affairs would cause jealousy, conflict or even divorce. The research of this paper uses literature study. Symbolic Interaction Theory emphasizes the relationship between symbols and interaction named Mind, Self, and Society. Symptoms of social change from perspective interaction theory tell that the couples who are increasingly interacting with affairsvia WhatsApp would have their marriage threatened. Moreover, the contribution of communication theory in theperspective of interaction theory of Mead mentioned the looking-glass-self and the concept of self are generated through interaction. This is an exploratory, descriptive study of relationship redefinition. Using symbolic interaction theory, this paper examines the contours of post-dating relationships, asking the following questions: 1) how do people orient themselves to one another after a dating reltaionship ends?; and, 2) what is the power dynamic between one's social network and his or her post-dating relationship? Using a snowball sample (N = 30), interview data are analyzed as narratives about the respondents' construction of post-dating relationships. Until recently, research has focused on postdivorce relationships and has characterized these as maladaptive (Weiss 1975; Spanier and Casto 1979; Berman 1985). This study joins recent research which suggests that relationships between former spouses or lovers may satisfy legitimate needs such as friendship, shared history, and extended social networks (Metts, Cupach and Bejlovec 1989; Aydintug 1995).

With the existence of Covid 19, the business of growing drinks and food is hampered. This makes business people at the beverage shop experience a loss. Therefore, business people must see how to plan in doing marketing properly in order to overcome this and produce good results. Marketing communication can be done in various media. The development of technology today makes it easy and fast for people to get what they are looking for, especially for business people, this is very important and there are no longer obstacles for them to do marketing of their products. In this marketing research, symbolic interaction and communication become interrelated so that one another must work together to facilitate marketing communication. This study uses symbolic interaction theory and the concept of marketing communication. The approach used in this research is qualitative research with a case study strategy. The data was collected by using in-depth interviews, documentation and direct observation. In this study, interactions occur in longtang marketing products because of the interaction and planning of marketing communications that are able to reach consumers to buy.Dengan adanya covid 19 ini, bisnis pertumbuhan minuman dan makanan menjadi terhambat. Hal ini membuat pelaku bisnis pada kedai minuman mengalami kerugian. Maka dari itu, pelaku bisnis harus melihat bagaimana perencanaan dalam melakukan pemasaran dengan benar agar dapat mengatasi hal tersebut dan memberikan hasil yang baik. Komunikasi pemasaran dapat dilakukan dalam berbagai media. Semakin berkembangnya teknologi yang ada di jaman sekarang, membuat masyarakat menjadi mudah dan cepat untuk mendapatkan sesuatu yang dicari, apalagi bagi pelaku bisnis hal tersebut sangatlah penting dan sudah tidak ada lagi penghambat bagi mereka untuk melakukan pemasaran terhadap produk yang dimiliki. Dalam penelitian pemasaran ini, interaksi simbolik dan komunikasi menjadi saling berkaitan sehingga satu dengan yang lainnya harus saling bekerja sama untuk memperlancar komunikasi pemasaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori interaksi simbolik dan konsep komunikasi pemasaran. Pendekatan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan strategi studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara mendalam, dokumentasi dan observasi langsung. Dalam penelitian ini terjadi interaksi interaksi dalam produk pemasaran longtang karena adanya interaksi dan perencanaan komunikasi pemasaran yang mampu mengjangkau konsumen untuk membeli.

Based on the content that users prefer to follow, they are presented with similar content, which they may like. Thus, they can interact with individuals whose mindsets are similar to theirs. The users who cannot socialize in real life due to the COVID-19 pandemic and thus consider social media as an escape point think that they can produce unlimited and uncontrolled hatred in a synergistic environment consisting of people who produce similar contents to what they produce. This study focuses on hate speech on social media and analyzes the hate, discriminative, and derogatory speech regarding men within the “dunyaerkeklergunu” hashtag on Twitter based on symbolic interaction theory using the content analysis method. Within the scope of the “dunyaerkeklergunu” hashtag, 500 shares were analyzed. The study aims to raise awareness of the fact that hate speech can be made even on international men's day and that hate speech is not only directed towards women but is also made regarding men.

'Nightmare' is the title of a video clip belonging to a singer and singer called Halsey, in which the video clip is explained about the figure of women who struggle against patriarchal culture which has been a barrier wall for women to get their rights, welfare and the equality needed they get. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques are done through documentation, observation and study of literature. Then, analyzed using Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotics technique. The results of this study show the fact that signs, symbols or messages representing feminism in the video, 'Nightmare' clips are presented through scenes that present women's actions in opposing domination over men and sarcastic sentences contained in the lyrics of the song to discuss with patriarchy. Youtube as one of the social media platforms where the 'Nightmare' video clip is uploaded is very effective for mass communication and for conveying the message contained in the video clip to the viewing public.‘Nightmare’ adalah judul video klip milik musisi sekaligus penyanyi yang bernama Halsey, dimana pada Video klipnya tersebut menceritakan tentang figur perempuan-perempuan yang berusaha melawan budaya patriarki yang selama ini telah menjadi dinding penghalang bagi perempuan untuk mendapatkan hak-haknya, keadilan dan kesetaraan yang seharusnya mereka dapatkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui dokumentasi, observasi dan studi kepustakaan. Kemudian, dianalisis menggunakan teknik semiotika milik Charles Sanders Peirce. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat tanda-tanda, simbol atau pesan yang merepresentasikan feminisme di dalam video klip ‘Nightmare’ yang dihadirkan melalui adegan-adegan yang menyajikan aksi perempuan dalam menolak dominasi atas laki-laki dan kalimat-kalimat sarkas yang terkandung dalam lirik lagunya untuk ditujukan kepada patriarki. Youtube sebagai salah satu platform media sosial dimana video klip ‘Nightmare’ diunggah sangat efektif untuk melakukan komunikasi massa dan untuk menyampaikan pesan yang terkandung di dalam video klip tersebut kepada masyarakat yang menonton.

The aim of this article is to demonstrate how social media and grounded theory methods can be integrated to constitute a sound research methodology for qualitative researchers. This article conceptualizes three models for using social media for research. Using the observational model, the social media grounded theory (SMGT) methodology was developed. This article provides practical methodological guidance, in a step-by-step approach, to what is referred to as SMGT methodology, which can be applied by researchers. This article provides a unique contribution to qualitative research because no previous research has provided similar conceptual integration and development using social media and grounded theory.
