THE EFFECT OF TRAINING ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE

As companies try to survive in the violent changing market, strong emphasis must be laid on human capital to be competitive and financially solvent. Though there are other determinants that affect organizations’ success; organizations must possess productive employees. Training and development are an important process that seeks to improve employees' performance in the organization. Employees development is one of the most critical business projects. Employees development includes lifelong training of employees, which gives them knowledge and skills, abilities and experience; advanced training of employees, which help to improve the professional knowledge and skills of employees; employees' retraining, which help in any professional reorientation. Training presents a particular skill to do a specific task, while development deals with general improvement and individual talent growth through understanding and unconscious learning. Employee performance means developing the skills of an employee and the organization as a whole. Hence, there is a close relationship between employee training and employee performance. When companies are willing towards the employee development activities, the employees work hard; use their full abilities and energies to achieve the organizations' goals. This paper investigates the theoretical structure & models related to employee training and its effect on employee performance. The key variables identify related to employee performance. The article examines that corporate training should focus on improving an employee's knowledge and abilities. As a result, general and specific professional competencies meet the modern needs of the state, society, labor market, and personal potential. The strategy's main priorities are developing levels of education, determining the frequency of training, increase educational and methodical support of training. As a result, employee development will affect organizational effectiveness. The process of corporate employee training includes determining the need for employee development. It defines training objectives, determining the content of programs and the choice of training methods, setting requirements for the employee, creating a training budget, and evaluating the training process's effectiveness.

This study aims to describe the effect of employee training and development on employee performance at PT Pacific Medan Industry. This research uses simple random sampling method. Research respondents are part of the Marketing Department of PT. Pacific Medan Industry, totaling 85 (eighty five) people. The instrument used is a questionnaire to collect data from training variables, employee development variables, and employee performance variables, multiple linear regression analysis, multiple linear correlation coefficient tests, partial hypothesis testing or t test, simultaneous hypothesis testing or F test, and calculations. coefficient of determination. The results of the descriptive analysis for the training variable are in the fairly good category, the employee development variable and work performance are in the good category at PT Pacific Medan Industry. Industry. Simultaneously, employee training and development has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT Pacific Medan Industry. The contribution of training variables and employee development variables to the increase in employee performance variables at PT Pacific Medan Industry is 0.753 or 75.3%, while the remaining 0.247 or 24.7% is influenced by other variables not examined by the authors in this study. such as work motivation, work culture, work discipline, and so on.

The purpose of this study is to present a literature study and observation that was established in the employee training and development program as well as the benefits of cooperatives in the ranks of the Cimahi City Dekopinda. This study analyzes the structure and elements of employee training and development programs and then this studio presents what are the positive results for employees and the Organization. Organizations find it difficult to stay competitive in the recent global economy. The importance of employee development plans is growing for Organizations seeking to gain an edge over competitors. Employees are a respected resource of the Organization and the success or failure of the Organization depends on the performance of the employees. Therefore, the organization finances a large number of employee training and development programs. Furthermore, the training program is very supportive for companies to emphasize the knowledge, skills and abilities of employees. There is substantial interest among professionals and researchers about the impact of development programs on employees and the organization. The study described here is an assessment of the literature on the basis of employee development programs and their benefits to organizations and employees.

The paper examines the essence and trends of digital transformation currently observed in the corporate training system of companies. The authors note that at the moment, employee training should be less labor-intensive, preferably mobile and implemented in small parts, but at the same time remain effective and relevant to the current job responsibilities of a particular employee. The article provides convincing evidence that the digital transformation of the corporate employee training system is the answer to these modern requirements and helps employees improve their professional knowledge and skills without hindering business continuity and reducing productivity. As the main trends in the transformation of the corporate training system, the authors identify such as: changing the roles of training specialists, the transition to mobile platforms and micro-training, the widespread use of technologies based on the use of artificial intelligence in training. Considerable attention is paid to the stages of development of the corporate training system.

Employee performance is banking activities play an important role in maintaining the presence of the Bank's customers. At BCA there are problems between the services provided Employees often do not satisfy the customers as the service is slow,difficult to conduct transactions. The research sample used was non-probability sampling with a sample of 100 employees in PT.BCA. Data analysis techniques used are validity and reliability, test classic assumptions and hypotheses. The results showed that there are significant systems and procedures for employee training and development of the quality of employee performance at PT. BCA with a 95% confidence level.

This study aimed to analyze the effect of employee training and development, motivation, work environment, employee competence on employee performance, and organizational performance. This study also aims to analyze employee performance as a mediating variable on organizational performance. The method of this research used SEM-PLS analysis. This research used all civil servants employees in The Regional Technical Implementing Unit for Goods Quality and Certification Testing Center (UPTD BPSMB) of the Jambi Province, Indonesia. This research concluded that Organizational performance is influenced by motivation, employee competence, work environment, and employee performance. Training and development, motivation, and work environment affect employee performance.  Training and development, employee competence, work environment affect organizational performance mediated by employee performance. However, the influence of motivation on organizational performance cannot be mediated by employee performance

An organization’s have various resources such as; human and non- human resources. Employees are human resources. They are also life blood of an organization as like as capital. They plays an important role by performing different activities within and outside the organization. So every organizations should give more attention to the improvement of employees for achieving more effective outcome from them. Also make them efficient to survive in the competitive business world. Many researchers have conducted research activities in the field of Human Research Management, the same cannot be said on employee training and development especially as it concerns developing countries like Bangladesh. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of skill development training on employee performance, using the garments industry in Bangladesh. For understanding the aim of this study, three goals were developed and these focused particularly on investigating the meaning and importance of training, examining the methods are used to develop employee’s skills and finally evaluating the influence of skill development training on employee performance. This conceptual paper also aimed at studying the influence of skill development training on employee performance and to provide suggestion as to how firm can improve its employee performance through effective training programs. The study was based on some garments industry operating in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The qualitative and quantitative both approaches of the data collection were adopted using a questionnaire comprising of some structured questions distributed to 170 respondents between two garments industries; Masco Industries Limited (Composite knit garments) and Walmart Garments, Narayangonj. Based on this sample the results obtained indicate that training have a clear effect on the performance of employees. The results of this study can be useful to Human resource managers, Human resource policy decision makers, as well as government and academic institutions. This research found that strong relationship exists between employee training and development with employees’ performance. The results reveal that the more the employee gets training, the more efficient their level of performance would be.

The purposes of this study are 1) To find out the types of training and HR development carried out at Bank BTPN tbk Jambi Branch Office, 2) To find out the constraints and solutions for HR training and development carried out at Bank BTPN tbk Jambi Branch Office, 3 ) To know the Strategy of Training and Human Resources Development at Bank BTPN tbk Jambi Branch Office. This study took place at Bank BTPN tbk Jambi Branch Office, the data obtained directly from books or other information in the form of interviews and documentation. The data collection method was obtained by direct observation at the Human Resources section at PT. Bank BTPN Jambi Branch Office. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method that is "done by compiling the data that has been collected then making a classification and setting standards and the position of the elements with one another so that they can be analyzed and interpreted". The results obtained from the research that the researchers conducted were employee training and development, which is a method or way to improve the quality of employees so that employee performance can increase. This Training and Development provides motivation, knowledge and improves the ability of good employees.

This article reviewed employee training and development as a model for organizational performance and effectiveness. The various literatures reviewed on the topic in question showed that, training and development had positively correlated and claimed statistical significant relationship with employee performance and effectiveness and can advance organizational growth and success. In order to improve employee training and development as well as improved performance and service delivery, it is recommended that management should increase the number of employees taking part in training and development.
