Outsourcing allows companies to reduce costs, which contributes to the growth of their competitiveness. Simply outsourcing is the transfer of production or business processes from one company to another that is an expert in this field. This process has both advantages and disadvantages. Outsourcing allows companies to focus on their core business, while performing non-core operations can be entrusted to outsourcers who are professionals in this field. Globalization has led to an increase in the quality of outsourcing. Outsourcing plays an important role in the development of information technology, as large Western companies in the field of information technology transfer their research and development work to countries such as China, India and Brazil. Without outsourcing, the creative minds of these countries will not be able to participate in innovation processes and development. Consequently, by promoting the development and growth of information technology, outsourcing has accelerated the process of globalization. Keywords: outsourcing, costs, costly activities, transportation-logistics operations.

The scientific article is devoted to the issue of complex legal analysis of both advantages and disadvantages of the contemporary system of Commission’s quasi-legislative acts which is composed of implementing and delegated acts. Commission’s implementing and delegated acts play a crucial role in the EU, but the abusive application by the EU legislator of the delegation of quasi-legislative powers to the Commission of the EU cause various negative consequences on the EU legal order. The author outlines the following positive sides of Commission’s quasi-legislative acts: acceleration of the EU decision-making process, adding the EU decision-making process flexibility, improvement of the quality of the EU legislative acts and unloading the overall EU legislature’s workload. Taking into account the latest statistics, the author has proved that the process of the adoption of implementing and delegated acts is in four times faster than ordinary and special legislative procedures. It is emphasized that COVID-19 outbreak in 2020 made the EU urgently enact a bunch of legislative acts that were mainly adopted in the form of Commission’s quasi-legislative acts. The author also points out that the quality of the EU’s legislation has been improved as well as EU’s legislator workload has been greatly reduced because of Commission’s implementing and delegated acts. At the same time, the author specifies that the absence of an explicit legal distinction between Commission’s implementing and delegated acts leads to numerous interinstitutional litigations and disputes and undermines the hierarchy of legal acts under the provisions of the Lisbon Treaty. It is established that an excessive application by the Commission of the EU of the quasi-legislative instruments may breach the principle of institutional balance and may lead to the replacement of the sole EU legislator – the European Parliament and the Council. Eventually, the author argues that the lack of transparence and accountability of the Commission of the EU during the process of adoption of implementing and delegated acts deepen the ‘democratic deficit’ problem within the EU.

The use of modern technologies in business is primarily aimed at simplifying business processes, reducing the costs of business operations as well as improving the quality of services offered to clients. It is also a response to the changing preferences of customers who are increasingly using digital solutions. Technological solutions may in particular be used in the insurance distribution process, which in recent years has become much more demanding, due a number of provisions regulating the distribution of insurance contracts were introduced.  These changes are mainly aimed at ensuring that client makes conscious decisions regarding the conclusion of the contract, due to broad information requirements as well as matching the insurance to the client's needs. The use of mobile applications, Big Data, artificial intelligence or blockchain technology may allow for simplification, acceleration and reduction of costs in the process of distribution of insurance contracts. The article is an attempt to indicate the main possibilities of using technological solutions, both in relation to the requirements for insurance distributors and in relation to the technologies that can be used. Selected barriers were also discussed, which in the author's opinion significantly limit the possibility of development of digital insurance distribution channels.

The article considers a number of issues related to the concept of digitalization of entrepreneurial activity, its content, advantages and disadvantages, problems of its perception and implementation in domestic enterprises. The analysis is based on the premise that digitalization, covering all areas of the economy and business, contributes to the establishment of internal and external relations and, ultimately, to increase company productivity and business efficiency. Based on a comparative analysis of the definitions of digitalization, the following interpretation of this term is proposed: “digitalization of entrepreneurship” is a process of business transformation that involves the use of digital technologies to optimize business processes, increase company productivity and improve customer experience. Successful implementation of digitalization requires a proper understanding of these processes by the management of the enterprise. Rapid changes in the external environment in the context of globalization are forcing us to adapt to new digital innovations. Business owners should understand that in order to be competitive in today's environment it is necessary to implement new approaches to doing business and develop new products using digital channels of the enterprise. Digitalization helps to generate new business ideas, increases creativity and innovative approaches to their activities. A component of the digitalization process is to meet the needs of retailers who are constantly changing and interacting with new technologies, seeking to quickly and comfortably meet their own needs. The advantages and disadvantages of digitalization are generalized and grouped. It is noted that the benefits are not guaranteed, and in case of failure may not appear. The key role is played by the qualification of staff: the availability of highly qualified personnel is a necessary condition for successful digitalization, so the appropriate staffing is one of the difficulties faced by the company in the implementation of digitalization processes. Digitalization of entrepreneurship is an innovative creative process, so there can be no standard instructions for its implementation. However, it can be argued that the key to its successful implementation is corporate culture and innovation in activities at all levels of the enterprise in order to implement operational changes. The digitalization of the enterprise will promote the development of new types of business activities, the formation of a new quality of economic relations, the disclosure of intellectual and creative potential of all employees. This is especially important to increase the competitiveness of the enterprise.

The article considers the role of trust in the economy, the mechanisms of its accumulation and the possibility of using it as one of the growth factors in the future. The advantages and disadvantages of measuring the level of generalized trust using two alternative questions — about trusting people in general and trusting strangers — are analyzed. The results of the analysis of dynamics of the level of generalized trust among Russian youth, obtained within the study of the Institute for National Projects in 10 regions of Russia, are presented. It is shown that there are no significant changes in trust in people in general during the study at university. At the same time, the level of trust in strangers falls, which can negatively affect the level of trust in the country as a whole, and as a result have negative effects on the development of the economy in the future. Possible causes of the observed trends and the role of universities are discussed. Also the question about the connection between the level of education and generalized trust in countries with different quality of the institutional environment is raised.
