More and more companies are using digital sales channels, one of which is Amazon’s e-marketplace. The benefits of the e-marketplace are intensifying the use of the digital platform as a sales channel by multiple businesses forming a pool of assets in a virtual environment. E-marketplace assets are attractive to investors in terms of growing sales dynamics and profitability. Investing in assets in electronic markets is becoming increasingly popular, which drives the need for valuation of companies. Therefore, business valuation and formation, increasing the market value of the company in the electronic market is a relevant research problem. The purpose of the article was to identify ways to increase the market value of a company in the electronic marketplace prior to sale. The market value of a company in a virtual environment is defined as investors’ expectations of future cash flows and profitability over a certain planning period. In the electronic marketplace, a company’s value is determined through factors of its formation, the main of which is the stability of income and net profit over the past 6–12 months. The study identified factors for assessing the current value of the company in the electronic market and ways to increase the value of the company. The formula for calculating the market value based on the multiplier, including the factors of market value formation, is proposed. Considered the main floor of the profit and loss statement of the company, which operates in the electronic marketplace Amazon, as the main source for determining the value of the business. It was revealed that the multiplier of the company’s valuation is built on the main factors of growth, at the same time acting as ways to increase the value of the business. These ways include: e-marketplace brand registration to control listings and protect intellectual property rights; product diversification to reduce risk; outsourcing operations to reduce labor costs and focus on strategic product value tools; creating a secure supply chain to build company security and reliability; using social media as a way to build a brand that customers trust; developing and optimizing a recall system, about Theoretical and practical value of the study lies in the substantiation of the main ways of increasing the market value when selling a company in the electronic market.

Financial statements should realistically show financial position, performance, and cash flows of a company. Creative financial reporting represents a deliberate manipulation of information in financial statements in order to create misperceptions on company operations. Creative financial statements are primarily intended for investors, in order to encourage them to purchase company shares and thus increase its market value. Creativity in compiling cash flow statements lies in presentation of operating activities as investing and financing activities, and vice versa.

Abstract One of the fundamental ways in which an advantage over competitors can be gained in business is to develop real estate portfolios in such a way that will lead to an increase in market share and value for shareholders. This serves as justification for the formulation and implementation of specific real estate strategies regarding the best manner in which to use CRE, make decisions regarding restructuring, and carry out necessary development projects, taking into account the criteria of: location, time, and procurement options. This paper presents the formulation and realization of real estate strategies, focusing on the use of the category of property value. Moreover, the authors formulate a possible classification of CRE, which is useful from the perspective of real estate strategies, in addition to identifying and evaluating different types of property values which can be used for real estate strategies. For the majority of operational properties, these categories differ from market value. The last part of the publication provides a reference of selected valuation methods used to determine the value of CRE in the context of formulating and implementing real estate strategies.

The existing methods and approaches for analysing an organization’s personnel capacity have been considered, a retrospective review of the well-known classifications of Russian scientists has been carried out. The authors have studied the papers devoted to the practical aspects of assessing the personnel capacity of industrial enterprises in the context of a number of areas, including: personnel management, sustainable development management, increasing the competitiveness and market value of a company. A new approach to analysing personnel capacity has been proposed in the form of assessment of personnel security or the current level of personnel risks, which are, in turn, attributed to such components of personnel capacity as qualification / working experience, ability / speed of reproduction of labor resources.

ABSTRACT: We investigate profitability, operating cash flows, and value relevance associated with offshoring arrangements of technology-oriented jobs. Offshoring is the business practice of moving substantial portions of a firm's business operations (and jobs) to another country usually to take advantage of lower labor costs or other production factors in developing countries. Offshoring carries social costs as local jobs are lost which may limit realization of benefits. We find that firms that offshore technology-oriented jobs report greater earnings and operating cash flows following an offshoring event as the relative size of the offshoring arrangement increases. Consistent with these results, the market only values offshoring beyond the impact recognized in the financial statements for larger offshoring arrangements. A valuation discount actually exists for smaller offshoring arrangements suggesting either (1) costs exceed potential benefits or (2) the perception that benefits are only realized through economies of scale. We document both benefits and costs that are important for those firms considering offshoring arrangements and their stakeholders.

The aim of the present study was to compare the utility of traditional accounting reporting and financial reporting for performance evaluations. Accordingly, the relationship between six ratios of net cash flows, net operating cash flows, cash value added, income after tax, income before tax, and market value added to the book value of total assets and Tobin’s Q ratio as an indicator of performance evaluation were examined. For this purpose, the information of 122 companies listed on Tehran Stock Exchange in the years 2009 to 2014 were used. Besides, linear regression and analysis of variance (ANOVA) were used to analyze the data. The results showed that except for the ratio of net cash flows to the book value of total assets, there was a significant relationship between the other five ratios. In addition, it was noted that cash value added to net operating cash flows had more information content concerning evaluating the firm performance. The results also indicated that net cash flows did not contain information content for evaluating the firm performance. However, the market value added had the maximum information to be used for evaluating the firm performance.
