In the article the tendencies of development of the industrial branch are revealed. The dynamics of gross domestic product created by industrial enterprises is studied to establish their position in the structure of the national economy. It is proved that industry has a significant impact on the state’s economy, as this industry creates a large number of jobs, promotes the development of small and medium-sized businesses. The factors that determine the main trend of dynamics (increase or decrease of levels) are revealed. As well as factors that deviate levels from the trend. We observe that industrial enterprises are going through a difficult period due to difficult economic conditions, increasing competition in industries, the financial crisis, as well as the lack of real support from the state. Based on the logic of safe economic activity, the tendencies of changes in the financial result of industrial enterprises, in particular processing, are investigated and the degree of their safe functioning and development is revealed. When studying the trends in gross domestic product, their great importance in the structure of the national economy was found. The dynamics of expectations of industrial enterprises regarding the prospects of development of their business activity is characterized. Multidimensional, detailed analysis of the activities of industrial enterprises is a necessary element of the information system through which management and professionals have the opportunity to make adequate management decisions. The dynamics of expectations of the prospects for the development of their business activity shows that industries are experiencing a difficult period due to difficult economic conditions, increasing competition in industries, the financial crisis. It is expected that the proposals set out in the article will contribute to a partial solution to the problems of information security management of industrial enterprises.

Officially, the COVID-19 pandemic reached Ukraine in March 2020 and came to Ukraine at a time when the national economy was not in the best condition. In fact, the COVID-19 pandemic has transformed not only the structure of the national economy, but also the way of doing business. This is evidenced by indicators that reflect changes in the structure of gross domestic product, changes in the structure of employment and marketing tools. The COVID-19 pandemic has already led to a financial crisis and a crisis in certain areas and sectors of the economy, but there are those who have benefited from quarantine measures. However, there are industries and areas of activity for which the COVID-19 pandemic has given a good start and revenue growth. Timely response and targeted action will reduce the negative impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, prevent a decline in business activity, create conditions for the development of Ukrainian manufacturers and reduce the impact of the crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The proposed technology of financing enterprises and the Russian economy, harmoniously combining the interests of working citizens, owners and the state, makes it possible, at quite achievable rates of gross domestic product growth (enterprise revenue) by 3.5% per year, to ensure a 46.6% increase in wages of working citizens over 5 years, which will practically end poverty. To increase contributions to the development fund for 5 years by 25%, which the owners of enterprises and the entire workforce are interested in, since this ensures the growth of their incomes and the possibility of constant modernization and updating of technological equipment and the release of new competitive products. Increase in 5 years (despite a gradual decrease to 14.51% of contributions to the Pension Fund RF) the amount of funds received by budgets of all levels by 22%, which will allow the state to solve many social problems.

The article examines the issue of the effectiveness of the work of the Special meeting for combining measures to provide the active army with items of combat and material supplies, headed by the Minister of War. It is noted that the Special Meeting, which appeared on May 13, 1915, received extraordinary powers to carry out the economic mobilization of the entire national economy of the Russian Empire. These powers were legally formalized on August 17, 1915. From that moment in 1915, a Special meeting for the discussion and unification of measures for the defense of the state, for the provision of fuel for communication lines, state and public institutions and enterprises working for the purposes of state defense, for the food business and transportation of fuel and food and military cargo. This body, created in wartime conditions, was entrusted with extraordinary powers to manage state, public institutions and enterprises. The chairman of this meeting was the Minister of War, appointed directly by the emperor. It was he who could form commissions and subcommissions that dealt with both the procurement of weapons, equipment and equipment abroad, and directly with the implementation of a general domestic economic policy in the state for the development of certain branches of industrial and agricultural production. However, as the materials show, the transfer of management functions to the state apparatus and the entire mobilized economy of the country into the hands of the military department led to distortions in the development of the country’s national economy. Primary attention was paid to industrial enterprises working for the purposes of state defense, while the organization of food supply and transport support in the Russian Empire, despite the initiatives of the Ministry of Railways, the Ministry of Trade and Industry, the All-Russian Zemstvo Union, which had a representative in a Special Meeting, did not found due support and attention from the Chairperson of the Special Meeting.

AbstractCommon belief holds that economic misery motivates more people to commit acts of suicide terrorism. The existing literature, however, fails to find an empirical linkage between these two phenomena. This study offers a novel theoretical perspective and statistical evidence on the economy and terrorism connection. I argue that Muslim women decide to engage in acts of suicide terrorism because of their perception of the national economy, rather than actual economic conditions such as gross domestic product per capita or the Gini index. Based upon a statistical analysis of 4,495 incidents of suicide terrorism during the period from 1981 to 2015, the study shows that, when Muslim women perceive their national economy to be unfavorable, they are more likely to commit acts of suicide terrorism.

The lack of own funds of enterprises is one of the main problems in resolving issues related to the expansion, the acquisition of new equipment or the replacement of the old one. In contemporary economic conditions, it is leasing that is considered one of the most progressive ways of financing business activity. This financial toolkit is able to provide enterprises with access to the most advanced production technologies and equipment. At the same time, this mechanism is paid insufficient attention in our country. To solve these problems, the authors propose, firstly, the implementation of the algorithm for the development of the reproduction of the material and technical base of organizations based on the use of financial leasing. Secondly, a technique for calculating leasing payments based on a parametric model is suggested, taking into account the application of lowering coefficients. The implementation of the proposed toolkit is aimed at improving leasing relations as one of the most important factors of the development of the material and technical base, and funding for reproduction processes.

This article summarizes policy-relevant happiness research and demonstrates that self-reported happiness could be used to evaluate public policies. Self-reported well-being (e.g., life satisfaction, happiness) tracks objective societal and economic conditions fairly well (e.g., the financial crisis of 2008) and helps quantify people’s suffering (e.g., severe disability is roughly twice as aversive as unemployment). Evidence also demonstrates that some liberal policies, such as generous unemployment benefits, progressive taxation, and income equality, are positively associated with citizens’ self-reported well-being, whereas others (e.g., larger governmental spending per Gross Domestic Product [GDP]) are not. Just as the regular recording of economic activities helps gauge the effectiveness of specific policies and the general economic well-being of individuals and society at large, the regular recording of citizens’ self-reported well-being will help gauge the effectiveness of specific policies, as well as the psychological well-being of individuals and society at large.

The present article has as main objective to analyze the goals relating to the financing of education in the State Plans of Education, and in what way they might bring new resources to the other goals of the Plans can be fulfilled. Economic issues of the state's development at the present stage, largely depend on the development of the financial sphere. That is dictated by the reduction of the role of the real sector in the economy of the development of the state. Based on the experience of developed countries, we can state that the functioning of the effective banking system is the lever of development of the country's economy. The modern Ukrainian economy still cannot demonstrate the adequacy of the development of the financial market. The banking sector is most effective in this area. The issue of regulating the adequacy of bank capital is also relevant for the Ukrainian economy. The solution of this issue, to a certain extent, is embedded in the process of Ukraine's implementation of international standards for regulating the activities of banks. In this direction, the NBU has developed a program of measures to update regulatory requirements for banks. The paper argues the feasibility of a bank-centric financial market model for Ukraine. An analysis of the dynamics of the formation of bank capital has been carried out. The indicators of its sufficiency are considered separately. The results of the analysis of the compliance of Ukrainian banks with international liquidity standards are presented. Analysis of banks' capital security, dynamics of its absolute values with the rate of formation of gross domestic product was carried out. The bank's capital adequacy indicators are used as criteria for assessing their stability. The methodology used to assess the relationship between banks' equity and gross domestic product through sensitivity ratio (β). The level of communication between the indicators was determined by the value of the correlation ratio. Separately, an analysis of the impact of banks' equity on the level of gross domestic product for individual periods was carried out. The purpose of this analysis is to find out the peculiarities of banks' activities. As a result, it was proved that there is a connection between the indicator of the level of banks' equity capital and the gross domestic product. Additionally, the article describes the problems that hinder the development of the financial market in Ukraine. Government support for the banking sector is the basis for its development.
